At the late morning of Twilight Town, a strange small humanoid with a blue body, a gray, onion shaped head and low hanging ears was meditating on a roof top, going into a zen as the light trickled against her face. She hovered mid air and felt someone climbing on top, Namine had adhesive coated gloves while Smoliv and Smeargle climbing up to her back. The girl was in her usual wears, expecting a more down in the dirt adventure as Poipole was distracted by the morning sun. Namine noticed the meditating pokemon turning to her and opening her eyes, the girl waved to keep looking friendly. "Hello Meditite, it looks like you haven't moved from this spot since you arrived?"

The Meditite kept relaxed and had a small smile. (I like this spot, where the light caresses upon this lazy town and you hear movement of the wind and people. Much has happened during these three cycles of the sun and moon.)

Namine nodded and brought out a quick ball. "We can't afford to slack off, with some of the towns people tolerating the rowdier pokemon and most of this side handled, we have the other side of town for the day. Would you like to help us until we return this town to lazier times?" Meditite floated down and stood for a battle pose. (Only if you have the zen to capture-) Fling! Tap! Shake...shake...shake...click!

Namine prove her point and picked up the ball, she gave a smile to her companions. "Now, let's see how Lil' Chef is handling those burglars."

Over at the Bistro's Kitchen.

Roxas and the boys lined up the two Raticates, the Salandit for their next day on kitchen duty. The squad leader lectured them on what they're in for. "You got a little slack last night, because it was just us. But today's going to be a breakfast rush, a lunch rush" Denryk added in. "a brunch rush if you're luck is stinking." Roxas finished. "and then come the evening, the dinner shifts. You'll be expected a few breaks, but you'll be in for a long days work to make up for the three you've cost."

The brown Raticate nodded eagerly as the Salandit saluted proudly. (We'll bring up the heat.) The Alolan Raticate whimpered at his luck as Dupmic, with Schemy napping on his shoulder, showed the odd ball out "Hey Lil' Chef, there's this one pokemon that might be a help if we can figure out what he's good for in the kitchen. You mind inspecting this guy?" Pop!

Out came a Guplin that plopped to the ground and gave off a foul smell, Lil' Chef backed away and tried to fan out the fumes. The stomach turned as Denryk guessed. "He would have been a garbage disposal if he doesn't stink so much? It can kill an appetite if someone whiffs it?" He had a smell and lost his own cravings. "Urk!" Dupmic sighed and called back the living stomach. "Come back, I think we know what we're going to do with you."

Denryk covered his face and tried not to be sick as Roxas promised the hired three. "Spoink and Meowth are going to be with us for the day, so just do your best and we'll see if you're handling yourselves."

Denryk swallowed and pleaded. "Need something in the gut! Do you got any juice?" Lil' Chef pointed a thumb to the fridge. The hoodlum went to get a glass and find a jug of grapefruit juice as Roxas heard the sound of a door, he and Dupmic hurried out to find Namine and her duo of misfits. The squad leader spoke of a plan. "Alright, Gulpin's going to stick with us if we need to get rid of any junk. Once we check around, we'll head to the upper town and track the last of the pokemon that's around here."

Dupmic spoke of the final step. "Then we find Drampa and get him in a ball." They heard the sound of water and watched Denryk approach, waving in gratitude. "Thanks for that, let me know if you need anything later." He went to the band and rubbed something off his lip. "Think if those guys got their act together, they'll be a help in flushing the rest out?"

Roxas doesn't see why not and lead the way. "As long as they're on the same wave length, we should be done by the afternoon." At the sound of a bell, they noticed Poppy with her phone and her Darmanitan relaxing in his stroll. He noticed the band with their pokemon and grunted, inviting Poipole and the partners to hurry over and bring Poppy's attention. She saw the teenagers all ready and smiled. "Aren't you the guys I've been wanting to find. How did that night mission go?"

Namine recalled. "Went off without much of a hitch and some of them are working off what they owe. We have a Drampa keeping close to the town, after what almost happened to him last night."

Poppy guessed. "Someone tried to capture him without permission?" Dupmic let her know. "It's that witch, she's trying to bolster up her forces for her big scheme at the worlds. Wouldn't have known until this morning had our psychic over here," He looked over to Denryk, who squinted his eyes at him. "didn't pick that up in his senses."

Poppy was surprised. "Extra senses? That's common in psychics and psychic types." Denryk raised his voice. "I didn't have any with me and there's no way that's been going on. And you mean to say actual psychics are a thing over there?"

Poppy nodded. "Those with the ability are able to link with that type and those that aren't are normally smart enough to understand them. Since this is bothering you, let's move along." Denryk tried calming himself as Namine continued. "We're giving a last inspection before we head around the school zone, the Upper Town." Denryk noticed the new ball. "She caught something and we made the final decision on who's coming along with us and who's going to be working in the kitchen."

Poppy was impressed. "Nice progress, show me the way and I'll see how this is going to go." The squad did so as the girl brought out a case of t.m's and a machine. "And this is something I'd like you all to have. Some T.M's and a maker with some recipes you could reinvent."

Dupmic took the T.M Maker as Roxas took the case and read a few labels. Will-o-wisp, energy ball, chilling water and a few others. Roxas sent out Ceruledge as Denryk had Scraggy out for a view of the town. Poppy pressed her glasses and whispered. "What you all done in the contest was a spectacle, from the Ceruledge showing the spiritual flame, all the way to that dance with the Scraggy. Do you think you'll have more surprises in store?"

Namine nodded. "Some of our pokemon are scheduled to evolve soon and the ones who aren't, will have that first day of practice. Speaking of which, what do you know of Oricorio?" Poppy smiled and showed an image on her Dex, with the purple bird being on the page. "That bird is a favorite of mine and a lot of Alola's. It's a special bird that can have four forms." She showed a red bird that have what seems to be ear rings and a passionate wave of her wings, a yellow bird resembling a cheerleader and pink bird with a crown and skirt of white feathers, resembling a hula dancer. "The Baile Style, which brings about the flames of passion. The Pom-Pom Style that has a zip among the youth, the P'au style, that is a more traditional zen and the Sensu style that is more of the spiritual sort." Denryk looked forward to playing around with the bird. "Baile is part fire, Pom-Pom is part electric, P'au is part psychic while the one my dancer has is part ghost."

Poppy added. "There's these four distinct nectar pots that can help you change the pokemon's type. But that's not the most special part, Oricorio has the ability to copy any dance move as if it were her own. There are two moves that you'll love out of her, one might require aid of a butterfly pokemon, while the other is a ways away from learning." Denryk laughed. "Quiver dance? That pretty move seems to be her favorite, but the other move's more special than that?"

Poppy gave a spin. "Revelation dance! Which will always be the same type as the Oricorio's main one and benefits from quiver dance." Denryk looked forward to that. "That finale, maybe with that we won't have to worry if that dude brings in that perish song!" Poppy smiled in mischief. "If another contest happens again, know that Oricorio is much more common in double rounds, because their partner can provide for them."

At the back end of the school zone.

A trio from a gang were gathered around, Lea was at a post, crossing his arms and being surprised at a debate that Medy and Elrena were having. The electromancer was insisting to the rock star. "That baby lizard is kind of cute and everything, but I got a feeling someone's going to miss out if I just go and catch it."

Medy raised a finger to a particular consequence he's seen. "Uh huh? Those really small ones don't ever just evolve into a bigger look. You'd find anything cute if it sparkles electricity, don't you?"

Elrena was feeling a vein pulsing and she was showing a teeth gritting smile as Tadbulb broke the tension and turned around to find a quartet of teenagers, lead along by Poppy. Tadbulb gave off a buzz and drew attention to the arrivals, Lea noticed and gave a silly wave. "Welcome to the morning, as you're seeing, this is still an improvement." Poppy sighed in agreement. "I'm guessing the others are picking a trial somewhere? Now, baby electrical lizard? Is it a yellow one like Helioptile, or is it the purple one known as Toxel?"

Elrena pointed at the later name. "Purple one that looks like a grumpy baby in a diaper. It's been drinking rain water that's been in a drainage pipe and is just plain mean when ever we get close!" Namine raised a brow and crossed her arms. "And you find that behavior cute?" Elrena shook her head. "Heck no! But I know a sparkler when I see one." Poppy thought out loud. "I only know enough about Toxel by the dex entry, but I have seen it's evolution up close during a rock n' roll concert. They're a well known poison and electric type that the roughest of the youth admire."

Roxas was surprised by that depiction. "Rock and roll?" He gave Medy a look, then pass one over to Elrena. "So you'd called off catching it for someone who'd be a better match? That's awfully nice of you." The lady of the gang blushed and was in a stutter as Medy asked the poke expert. "You're not just going to tell me, because it would ruin the surprise?"

Poppy shook her head. "Once you look at that Toxel, you'll put it all together. So where are the others?" Lea sighed. "Me and Isa are trying to bait that Tauros again by the mountain path. Elrena has her besties keep a close watch at the stadium where Toxel is, while Dorlu's spotted some rough housing by the neighborhood."

Denryk and Scraggy gave a look of interest, the rough neck asked. "Need some extra muscle for that Bull?" The hoodlum looked up to his partner to suggest. (Guess we can lend a hand.) Roxas didn't mind the idea. "Just in case that Tauros is strong, you guys got that."

Namine took a deep breath and asked the lent aid. "Dupmic, would you come with me to help oversee that Toxel's capture? I don't think that's the only pokemon around there." The Replica knows that translated into "I don't want to be alone with Elrena or her friend." And volunteered. "I got ya."

Elrena felt that tension and asked. "So, is that Dunsparce still in the woods?" Poppy recalled. "He's a non issue, but it would still be nice to capture him. His problem is that all those captures were happening so fast that he got scared." The two had a spark of an idea and the electromancer suggest. "We just need to bait him out and get a ball tossed?" Poppy nodded. "Let's pick up some cooked apples, that smell will have him digging out of there."

With the band making a split, Roxas remembered the path to the neighborhood as Denryk took a great ball at toss it to him. "Oi', catch!" Roxas caught the ball and asked. "Are you sure about this?" The rough neck explained. "That dude has a Meowth as well and if they're good sniffers, then that's double the noses." The squad leader felt that made sense and was the first to take off with Ceruledge. Letting the band take off to various directions.

Over at the neighborhood.

Roxas found Dorlu and Meowth at a street sign, the gambler was writing down a note as the feline was licking himself. The grown up noticed the boy and his ghost knight. "I presume that you've met with some of us recently?"

The boy nodded, sent out a Nincada to climb on his shoulder and a Galarian Meowth that caused the other to hide behind the gamblers leg. The steel type gave a dance and bellowed a meow. (We have battling today!) Ceruledge wasn't in the mood to arguing. (Likely.) The scratchier Meowth mewed. (You guys actually took out that bandit gang?)

Ceruledge nodded as Roxas felt that was enough of an introduction. "So, what did you guys find?" Dorlu tilt his head to what looked to be a path to a park heading to the school zone. "There has been rumors that some of the children have been making friends with these two rascals, they've started changing right before dawn."

Roxas gasped to a memory. "Kids have been running into them and saw those two evolve?" He made a hurry with his misfits, reaching a typical play ground that isn't worse for wear. Resting on top of a slide was a velvet feline with a tail splitting into two, an Espeon. Under the slide and peaking his head out playfully, was a black feline with red eyes and yellow rings around his ears, his tail and having yellow rings mark his legs and forehead. The boy recognized the duo. "An Espeon and an Umbreon?"

The Umbreon turned his head fast as the Espeon rolled over and went down the slide, dropping off at the end and getting on his feet, as if he was doing that on purpose. Dorlu caught up to see the matching duo. "Fascinating duo, are they not?"

Roxas put together the whole story. "They must have been a couple of Eevees that wandered into the two and they found a place where they can make friends. If one of them really likes you, they can evolve into one of these two pokemon depending if it is day or night. Espeon using that good sunshine to heighten the mind while Umbreon uses the night to fight dirty. A psychic and a dark type!"

Umbreon looked over to Espeon in shock as the latter meowed. (Good guess.) Umbreon stretched calmly to ask. (Where the kids talking about us changing right there?) Roxas looked to the Galarian Meowth and to the Nincada. "I know a thing or two about those times blending together. This was my hometown... or I'd like it say it is." He was getting as excited as the kids the duo played with. "It's a long story, but you two would be perfect for the team!"

The duo were quite surprised by the eagerness, Umbeon returned that smile with his own. (Alright, if you can catch us!) He jumped to one side as Espeon perked. (We won't be persuaded that easily.)

Ceruledge stepped over the Nincada and sparkled in glee. (Finally, worthy opponents!) The Espeon in particular blushed. (Thank you.) Umbreon gave a battle glare as Dorlu and his Meowth took a step back and watched. Roxas ordered fast. "Meowth, fake that Umbreon out while Ceruledge gives Espeon a flame charge!"

The Steel type Meowth dashed for a fast clap, the Umbreon was in an inner focus and cheered for Espeon. (Psybeam, psybeam! Let's see how well that Meowth can take it!)

The Espeon appreciated the help and fired an intense psybeam at the Meowth that braced himself and was knocked a ways. Ceruledge ignited his legs and charged at the psi cat, knocking him across as Roxas readied a great ball. "One more flame charge, Meowth, go for some rough play on Umbreon!"

Ceruledge back flipped for another charge, Espeon leaped over to the slide and had a pant as Umbreon rushed to the knights blades, bit down and flung him to the ground in foul play, knocking him out in one blow as Espeon fired another beam and knocked out the Meowth. Nincada scurried to battle as Roxas flowed across the play equipment, reached behind the Espeon and tossed a great ball at his back. It brought him in and rolled down the slide, shaking three times and clicking as it landed on the sand. He called his fallen duo back and cheered. "Nincada, it's on you! Try mud slap and blind the Umbreon!"

The trainee hissed as the Umbreon closed his eyes and made a wish. Right as the cat opened them, mud slapped at the eyes and blinded him into missing a foul play. Roxas followed with another order. "Now keep using skitter smack, I got your back."

Nincada skittered for a swift, if relatively weak smack, the Umbreon snickered and gave a yawn to Roxas, causing the boy to grow drowsy and sit on the slide. The bug cringed as the boy yawned. "Try another mud slap and keep moving...zzz."

The Nincada watched Umbreon heal himself, tossed a mud slap and was on the move from the dark type. Roxas felt himself dozing off, Dorlu found that typical of a dark type and snapped his fingers to the Meowth. The cat hurried up the slide and gave a loud clap, waking Roxas up before sliding after the Umbreon. The gambler ordered. "Meowth, try to keep some pressure with that... special move you have." The cat nodded and tossed coins to gain the Umbreon's attention, Roxas called out. "Nincada, just hold on."

Umbreon rolled and looked around, sniffing to try and catch a scent, unaware of Roxas gliding over him and rolling to get behind him. The boy brought out a matching great ball and tossed at the back.

Shake...shake...shake... click!

With that, the Twilit do were captured. Dorlu was a little disappointed in the game ending that soon, yet he clapped regardless as his Meowth returned to him. "They were more than meets the eye, well done."

Roxas was ready to pick up the balls, not noticing that Nincada was giving a glow. "I meant what I said, those two fit together." He turned and saw Nincada keeping still in that glow, the boy hurried to ready a pokeball as Nincada. Something pulled out of his back a familiar looking insect was out and sprouting insect wings, the split of the old body had hints of something angelic. The shed shell faded into shadows that zipped to Roxas's ball. Leaving behind a bug that is taking flight at the end of his glow. Pew! At the end of the evolution, was a fast zipping Ninjask, he raised his forelimbs in a cheer. (Finally! I was tired of being at that limit.)

Roxas nearly lost sight as the bug was flying so swiftly. "Wow, you're a lot faster than I thought you were going to be, Ninjask." He focused on the pokeball and opened it, seeing a slower Shedinja with a crescent halo and a light twirl. Seeing the process happen before his eyes is a whole new wonder compared to hearing and reading about it. "And you're Shedinja. This is what that kid was talking about!"

If Shedinja had a mouth, he would have been giving a small smile. (Just an empty shell, but two are always better than one. One can do, what the other cannot.) Ninjask agreed with his split. (If we figure out the works, the two of us will be the master ninjas!)

That positivism was warming up to Roxas, he let out the evolution duo and sent out the Meowth and Ceruledge that were in a daze. "We'll see what Poppy knows about the two of you, because you two look as happy as each other." He gave a heal to the knocked out duo as Umbreon noticed the bug duo and snickered. (I knew you were going to evolve.) Espeon flickered his tail and smiled over to Roxas. (So, since we're buddies now, what's next?)

Roxas point his thumb back where he came. "Nothing right now, we got a place to wait at, before everyone returns with a report. Unless you guys know any other pokemon besides a Drampa, Toxel and a couple others." Espeon gasped. (Drampa? That's the nice dragon that flew us over to the park!) Umbreon nodded eagerly. (He's going to be fun to play with!) Ceruledge imagined. (That will the biggest challenge to face around here.) The Galarian Meowth snickered in agreement. (This is going to be a glorious day!)

Close by the Stadium Area

Namine, Dupmic, Smeargle and Schemy followed Medy to a walk way with a shadowy drain pipe. The musician was meaning to ask. "So, we and Namine have had some of the worst connections you can imagine. But what's your story?"

Dupmic sighed. "The same can be said for me and there was only one knowing guy left at the castle, by the time I ended up kicking the bucket. I'm just here as a back up in case this gets dicey." Medy followed on that. "Gotcha."

Namine was in thought about the more important subject and asked her trusty partner. "Smeargle, you've sketched moves from four particular pokemon. You learned taunt from one of the Meowths, whirlwind from Starly and we're about to find an electric type. Did you learn nuzzle from this one?" Smeargle gave a light crackle to say yes. (He wasn't quite the agreeable one, but he showed the move regardless. The other one that I've learned sticky web from, is somewhere under a berry bush in a garden.) Namine knew what was said. "Toxel knows nuzzle and you're confident that we can find the last of the four around the town." Medy thought up a plan to get Toxel in a good catching spot. "I think beating that baby in his game is going to be the easy part. Me and Sitar know a tune that can bring him out if he really likes music. That last pokemon has to got to be small too."

Namine showed a phone and looked up the move, showing Spinerak's line, first and foremost, followed by Kricketune, Joltik's line and many others who have business using silk. There was a category of pokemon who need additional aid to learn the move, one in particular was a worm like pokemon with a yellow head and yellow limbs, sticking out of a red shell with clay colored pour like holes. Medy is reading it out loud. "Shuckle? Mold. Bug and Rock. Hides behind rocks by keeping still, stores berries in it's shell until it is juice. Some defense." Namine read the stats. "Some of the highest defenses we've seen at the expense of anything else. Since we just got to catch it, it should be easy."

She asked the Smeargle. "Arty, is this the pokemon you're talking about?" The artist nodded and barked. (That's him.) Dupmic felt it made the most sense. "Since it prefers being in one spot, it would go for any place with the lowest bearing fruit." With their detective work narrowing down their ordeals, they caught up with a duo of Litzia, Fae, Lauriam and Roselia. The Star Sage was looking into a drain pipe while Roselia had her hands to her hips, scolding the stubborn critter with in.

Lauriam felt someone coming and turned to see the variety. "Well, this is a peculiar morning. You know what we're dealing with here?" Medy had a quick ball ready and used a net ball to let out a Kricketune that stretched and trimmed his mustache. "Yeah, a Toxel. Any luck getting him out?" Litzia stood up and turned. "Not really, he'd try to shock Elry when she tried to pull him out. It takes more than that to stop her though."Namine cringed and had Smeargle investigate. "Because she put a few things together about that pokemon and figured it wasn't going to be a good match for her. However, we have found a good candidate to take this guy in."

Smeargle crouched to see a purple, baby like lizard with a spark of white lightning on the forehead. The Toxel gave the artist a pouting look of a building tantrum. (What do you want?) Smeargle looked over to the band as Schemy landed behind him. (We need to have you captured sooner or later. What do we got to do to convince you to come out?) Toxel barked. (Noise, I want some good noise. It will help me focus for when I grow big and meaner.)

The Murkrow stepped back and cawed. (Well, you're in luck. We have a guy and a comrade of his, that can supply some quality noise.) He chirped in tune and hoped away as Smeargle stepped away to show a Kricketune that had his forelimbs on the strings of his chest. Medy brought out his guitar and played a low tune, letting his partner pull the strings like one a violin, the bug type used his other talon to pluck at the string, giving a particular melody. The Toxel bobbed his head at the band and crawled out, the song played for a few minutes before reaching an ending tune, Toxel was completely distracted and Medy tossed the quick ball for an easy capture.

Namine clapped in applause as Lauriam took some interest. "You don't suppose Toxel has heard melodies like this before?" The witch was tempted to give a look and held off against it. "I've been told he has an evolution that specializes in making music. Heavy music! Now, capturing Shuckle should be easy as applying a status and hoping for the best. But expect surprises. Do we know a garden somewhere? Shuckles like storing berries in their shell." The flower specialist was shown a picture of the bug type. "He could resemble a rock and no one would have noticed." He turned. "Come, I know a house that is unoccupied for the time being."

The band took a trip to a simple two story house, with a front garden with an assortment of growing fruits and vegetables, guarded by a fence to keep critters and teenagers out. He signaled to older of the squad to get to hiding as Dupmic looked around, unaware of Schemy looking into a particular direction and squinting his eyes in mischievous glee. The teenagers realized what the pink haired grown up had planned. "You're not going to ask are you?"

Lauriam shook his head as Namine noticed the bird looking at something. "If it's that defensive of a pokemon, then some aid would be a requirement." Namine gave him that much and jumped over the fence, with Smeargle climbing over. "It will be an endurance match that we got plans of winning." The audacity was quite impressive and Lauriam jumped over, with Roselia using a fast growing grass leaf to spring herself over. Namine and Smeargle followed the crows eye to a berry bush that has an assortment of decorative rocks. The girl walked around the bushes, in a manner akin to a wolf flushing out prey. Finding a red rock with clay holes, she pointed dramatically. "A ha! There you are, Shuckle!"

At the call, a yellow worm head slithered out of the hole and is looking to the band that flushed him out. He tensed, wiggled his limbs out and slumped back into his shell. With air and the likely juices from the berries he's gathered, he can out wait the humans before the garden's owner comes back.

Namine and Lauriam raised a finger at once, calling upon grass that sent the shell rolling to them. Namine felt a little disturbed at the sync while Lauriam didn't notice. "Now you're out in the open. Let's get this done Shuckle!" Roselia approached eagerly as Smeargle hurried by her, the artist waved to the mold bug that wiggled out and pushed a curled claw nail. The bug was impressed. (Smarter than I expected. So let's see if you can put that art to good use.)

Smeargle tensed as Namine ordered. "Smeargle, nuzzle that Shuckle." Lauriam followed on that command. "Let's bypass that defense, leech him and keep yourself healthy!" Roselia tossed a leech seed that wrapped around the mold shell and rooted itself into the holes. The Shuckle curled into his shell and rolled to spew out an infestation of tiny insects that swarmed Roselia and begun crushing her.

Namine was expecting Shuckle to pull a war of attrition and ordered. "Arty, taunt Shuckle, we got to keep him from relying on those tricks!" Smeargle taunted the Shuckle and annoyed it, the bug can't rely on it's defensive bulk in full. Lauriam followed. "Now continue to use giga drain, we'll out heal this damage."

Roselia aimed for a fast drain as Shuckle tossed another infestation for the Smeargle. The battle was a bit of a repeat, with Roselia being able to out drain damage of infestation while Smeargle was having to endure it and apply taunt when Shuckle shook it off. Lauriam use that as a que to bring out a net ball and toss it at the Shuckle, it landed in the grass, shook three times and clicked.

Marking a successful, if tedious capture. The humans went to pick up the ball, pick up their partners as the bugs scurried away and hurried to get back over the fence. Schemy and Dupmic lead to the side of a building, where the others were hiding. The boy was quite impressed. "That Shuckle didn't need to lift a boulder to give that kind of trouble. Every strategy comes from controlling when the other is going to attack."

Litzia agreed with that. "It didn't go as bad as it could have been. Those sturdy types always have a way to outlast if given the chance." Namine imagined. "Like using rest as soon as you wear out your best attacks?" Litzia pointed to that one. "Yeah, that move that can heal a pokemon to full at the cost of falling asleep. Let's check around for anymore we're missing before we head back to the square."

Heading to the back exit of the town.

Denryk and Scraggy had the moment to be mostly alone and share a determined frown to a job that needed to be done. Lea was curious about the familiar face. "So what's your back story? What's your deal hanging out with those kids?" Denryk looked over without much concern. "I was posing as someone else without knowing it until he came around to get his stuff back. I'm given some parole if I help out with this gig, they plan while me and these guys break stuff. If I bring out the bat, you know I'm about to hurt something." He smiled to something he's proud of inheriting. "I've also got a pretty good shot!"

Lea questioned part of the story that makes absolutely no sense. "How can you pose as someone without-" He recalled what Roxas told him and thought back to an incident during the final battle of the worlds, where most of the Guardians of Light returned from an adventure to the Dark Realm, but Ken ended up somewhere in the clutches of the Dark Seekers. A lot more happened to the one who rediscovered ancient pyromancey, Lea blew to the air and tried to look away at an obvious clue as Denryk sighed. "I'm finally free, but it doesn't effect that someone that much. What matters is putting what I'm good at, to use." Scraggy sprinted, turned to walk backwards and give a cheer. (Come on boss, you got me to mess em up!)

Denryk was amused by the hoodlum's antics and gave a boyish laugh. "About time I saw you smile. We're not alone out here anymore." Lea noticed behavior that is a lot more genuine than it ought to be and asked. "So what do you think you're missing? You don't have anyone pulling you and you got some actual friends."

Denryk passed along a secret. "And we're still hooked onto our others. That's not the problem. How much of this is actually me and how much of it is a good heart guiding me along? The biggest reason we were let out is because when things go wrong over here, they go wrong. All it took to stop it was a couple of kids giving the town a good show."

The pyromancer focused on the main question, it has merits to connect somewhere. "The assholes that were running the town had their deaths coming and we needed to clean up that mess because this town wasn't going to let us go. You, Roxas and Namine survived by not being the assholes messing with the town."

The band had the town's rear border in sight and Denryk was in thought, thinking of a particular question that comes to mind. "I got pat on the back for this one, but do you really think shooting a low lifes knee cap off cause he wouldn't shut the-" *jingle* *jingle* "up and making sure that" jingle jingle "get what's been coming to him. Cause he kept" jingle jingle "us off is not being an asshole?!"

The profanity was most surprising and a bored ice cream man at the border was wide eyed at the choice of words in his attempt to drown out the worst of it with his bell. The grown up had no comment and pointed to the hoodlum. "Not one word of this goes anywhere." Denryk was perfectly fine with that. "No one's going to leave me alone if they find out. So let's get this job over with."

Isa noticed them and Axew chirped hello, Scraggy chose to ignore the profanity and waved as Lea sent out a confident Torkoal. Isa looked down to the turtle and gave a silent breath. "Torkoal might make things worse with the drought, but this should still do." He explained the general plan. "If Scraggy has that ability, then Tauros's sheer damage would stop mattering at the moment. Axew knows a move that should cut that off even further."

Denryk let him know that intimidate is a factor. "Enough that he won't kick our butts a new one once he figures out he's being ganged up. I got a back up plan if Scraggy has to get out of there, does Axew know dragon dance too?" Isa found the mindset impressive. "He does, you know a pokemon that can use that?" Denryk showed a great ball containing the special bird. "Better, Oricorio can copy the dance, follow up with this quiver dance and let that bull have it!"

Isa felt that would do. "Lea, you and Torkoal focus on trapping that bull. If he tries anything to power himself up, you know what to do." Lea felt precision to the plan and smirked roughly. "And when he looks like he wants to call it quits, the ball will do the rest." With that, Denryk and Scraggy took off to the wilderness, surprising Isa as Lea casually strolled behind with Torkoal. The hoodlum prove one of his boasts well as he noticed hoof tracks and lined them up to a trial, leading all the way to a black bull shape that is in the distance, by a rocky hill. The band followed quietly while Denryk and Scraggy took some scenery of the vast grasslands that could go on forever, with the mountain being a border of it's own.

He was almost distracted before focusing back on the bull and finding a big enough bush to hide in. The grown ups followed that lead and had a closer look at a black bull with lighter mane, a lighter snout, red vent like stripes of fur on the mane, three tails that are curled up in a knot and straight aiming horns is grazing peacefully until he heard a rustle of the bushes. He turned around, glowed his horns red and looked over the bushes, finding a faint hint of blue, looked over to Isa's spot and kicked up his hooves.

Denryk cringed, jumped off and barked loud. "Scraggy. Let's get it done!" The Tauros jumped and turned, giving a loud moo and sharing intimidating glares, giving Isa, Lea and their partners time to get out of the bush and take a distance. Scraggy braced in confidence that was shattered the moment Tauros turned and gave the hoodlum a double kick knock out. Denryk jumped and cursed. "Oh come on!" He groaned and called back his complaining Scraggy. "What ever, this was the plan anyways."

Axew sprinted as Isa ordered. "Break him!" The little dragon let loose a breaking swipe at the fast moving Tauros and sent him into a spin as a drought shined down. Tauros readied to make a run for it as Torkoal spun to his getaway. "Furnace, trap him with rapid spin!"

The turtle spun in all directions, threatening to trip the bull if he tried to escape. Denryk tossed the great ball in style. "Waltza, you're up!"

Pop!

Out came the Oricorio Sensu that twirled a landing and gave quite the elegant pose. Tauros blew out of his nose and turned, he gave an angry moo and flame charged, the bird took a back flip as Isa ordered. "Axew, dragon dance!" The little dragon gave a fierce dance that the Oricorio followed on, Denryk twirled backwards in style. "and a little quiver for this dance off!" The bird turned from fierce to elegant, moving swiftly for someone of her size as the Torkoal trapped the bull in a fire spin.

Denryk raised a foot and spun, using his hands like they were fans, Waltza mimic that and let loose an air cutter that knocked Tauros over to his side. Denryk called out. "Now one of you, catch that bull! He can't take more of this!"

Lea was on it and tossed a great ball at the bulls calve, the band watched the ball bring the Tauros in, landed in the singed grass lands and shake into a click. It felt sudden, knowing this was over so easily, Denryk cheered to the Oricorio. "And that's why we got the moves!"

The bird stopped her movement, put her fans to her hips and nodded proudly as Lea went to pick up the ball and felt a bit embarrassed. "It's like all that trouble never happened." Denryk found that the silliest part. "Least it's over now. We're gonna need a detour so Scraggy can get woken up and know we did it. So what's going to happen once we're finished with this job?"

Isa smirked. "Since this town will finally get some piece and quiet, we have another that's been left to deal with this. Due to how Litzia had to abandon her post to aid us, the aid's going to be needed." Denryk bobbed his head, let the bird perch to his shoulder and raised a finger. "Since our bad guys won't have a dime of a reason to come here again, I think the town can finally get that break." He had a fulfilling sensation from two days worth of work. "Better late and done than rushed and missing, am I right?"

Lea found an opening to point at the hoodlum and give a aha. "See, that's actually you. Keep holding on to that." Isa was quite surprised and looked to the two, noticing that Denryk was pretending to ignore the statement. It wasn't long before they got back to the town and Denryk let out Scraggy, the hoodlum applied a potion to revitalize the dark type that woke up and jumped fast. Scraggy groaned from his chin pain. (Kicked me right in the-) Denryk let him know. "Yeah, I didn't see that coming either. But we caught that bull and we couldn't have done it without you or Axew." Scraggy snickered. (Bet that showed him.) He spotted the ice cream cart without that vendor and squeaked. (Where did that guy go off to?)

Lea noticed a little over the wall, that the vendor was hanging out with something sitting mid air. A clown like humanoid with a costume like body, pink puffy like orbs at the joints, two strange blue horns stretching wide, blue curled shoes, pink skin, thin limbs, white gloves and a round head. The clown was and enjoying some ice cream while silently pointing to the sun. The dude knew he was asked what's up. "Nothing new, besides that some kid was having a mouth." The Mime pointed downward and spun a finger, clearly saying potty mouth.

Denryk gasped and recognize the pokemon. "A Mr. Mime is here?!" The hoodlum double gasped to a plan. "That's it! He can mimic that dance!" He sent out his trusty Pineco and barked. "Hey, Flingy. We got someone for the crew!"

The bag worm flipped to battle as the Mr. Mime stood up, looked down to the challenger and raised his free hand before jumping off and floating over head to reach an alley way. Lea laughed to that. "Well, that explains why no one saw this guy until now." The Mr. Mime landed as the man he was conversing with guessed. "He's escaping with an invisible parasol?" Isa was thinking something else and was holding off his urge to laugh, having a smile at something so silly.

The Mr. Mime leaned his hand back as proof that the answer was correct, he tossed the parasol aside and went back to his pop, going into the alley and closing a door behind him before sitting down somewhere and turning on a t.v to watch some cartoons. That was enough to make a normally stoic man burst laughing, Denryk was pulsing a vein and charged. "Hey, you're not closing anything on us here."

Thud!

The boy slammed into an invisible door and bounced back, giving the Mr. Mime the realization that he needs to lock that. The hoodlums pokemon laughed to that while watching the boy get up with a snarl of his teeth. "This son of a mime locked me out?!" He smiled maliciously and turned back, picking up an imaginary bag. "Two can play at this." He searched for something as the Pineco asked in a buzz. (What are you getting?)

Denryk looked over to the bag worm of a distinct shape. "Something that can let us in there. You're little self destruct trick is going to be the next phase if it comes down to-" His hand had a grip at something and he pressed a finger into somewhere. "Ah, here it is!"

The Pineco hopped back as Denryk turned around with something in his right hand, the Mr. Mime gasped in horror and went behind to duck and cover, Lea realize where this stunt was going and waved his hands. "Woah, woah, woah, woah! Are you about to blast that door open?" Denryk showed off his imaginary explosive. "Yeah, who needs a key when you got this grenade here?" He and the witnesses got away far enough and the hoodlum readied to pull the pin. "We're making a door, so fire in the hole!"

Tink!

He flung the grenade at the imaginary door, Mr. Mime is pressing his hands to the invisible furniture and braced for imaginary explosion. He squatted downwards to wait and stood up with horror. "Mime!" (You're mad!) The Pineco agreed. (We are, but now you don't got much of a choice but to face us!)

The Mr. Mime puffed his cheeks and approached, he pressed his hands forward onto an invisible barrier as part of a battle pose. Denryk barked. "Rapid spin and go for a bug bite!"

The Pineco gave a rapid spin tackle at a Mime that realize he isn't going to blow up for this battle, the performer fired a psybeam to send the Pineco in a roll and was pounced upon for a bite. Denryk called him back and pointed dramatically. "Flingy, get out of there. Waltza has this!" The Pineco jumped away as the Oricorio stepped in. Mr. Mime raised an eyebrow smugly and prepared as Denryk ordered. "Feather dance!"

The Oricorio danced to scatter feathers, the Mr. Mime cringed in disappointment as he made his hands act like wings, Denryk squinted his eyes and gave a light, malevolent smile. "Gotcha! "Now quiver dance and give him an air cutter!"

Waltza danced elegantly and unleashed the spinning air blades, the Mr. Mime pressed his hands to a barrier and caused the wide attack to bounce away. Denryk swiped to the air. "Air cutter again, that wall isn't going to protect him forever!"

The Oricorio let loose another air cutter that went through the fading barrier and sent the performer tilting back in a critical hit. Denryk brought out a pokeball, rushed to the carts shadow and rolled in, the grown ups watched the boy disappear and the Mr. Mime tensed, realizing the boy is right behind him. Tap! The Mime was tapped on the back of the head and was brought in the ball as Denryk caught the ice cream pop. It gave a few shakes while firmly in Denryk's grasp, each one being less and less firm before clicking. Scraggy clapped amused as Flingy hopped in a laugh, Waltza turned to the audience and gave a bow as Denryk stepped out of the ruined house and let out the dazed Mr. Mime.

The hoodlum gave the ice cream back and cheered. "That was pretty fun, you're hired!" The Pineco grunted. (We'll go over what you're in for soon.)

The Mime was fine with that and broke out of his act. (What's the catch?) Denryk made it clear. "You do what I say, once it gets together it will start making sense." He shifted his eyes up. "But with what I'm seeing, we'll make it big."

The Mr. Mime shrugged (Fair enough.) and was distracted by Isa opening his mouth in a gap and giving off senses of suspicion. "What did you just do?!" Denryk answered clearly in the mind. "Shadow step! It gets used so often that someone's figures out how to do it." Lea was honestly not surprised and pat a hand on Isa's shoulder, signaling that the technique didn't come out of nowhere. The blue haired man blew to the air and let it go before getting some munny out. "We're going to need something."

In the forest by the mansion.

Poppy and her Raichu worked to set up a honey glazed apple on a plate. The girl directed her hand to keep a gentle placement. "Easy, He'e Nalu once tap and Dunsparce will-" She shifted her eyes to Elrena, who was sitting on a tree branch and had a quick ball in hand. He'e Nalu placed the plate down and Poppy request. "Now, wait and line up that throw."

The Alolan Raichu held his partner in a psychic hold and floated backwards with her, getting out of sight as Elrena imagined. "Three days, but it's about to finally be done." A few minutes passed and something burrowed from out of the ground, the Dunsparce that slithered over to the apple and took a small bite. He hissed in glee and opened his mouth to inhale the fruit, Elrena used the chance to toss the ball at the snakes back and captured him swiftly. At the sound of the click, the band hurried close, the adult smiled sweetly at the girl that gave a guiding hand. "Good advise right there." She took the ball as Poppy took a deep breath and had a light smile. "It's not a problem, all Dunsparce needed was time. He'll be all peachy again once he sees where his friends have really gone too." She had her phone check the ability and gave recommendations. "And this one has the ability serene grace. So if you time it well, he can give a good ol' glare before flinching the opponents to submission."

Elrena was eager to let out the Dunsparce and Statik, the tick hopped with joyful chirps as the Dunsparce looked around and found that same lady from before. He gave a whine of a whimper. (Not you again!) Elrena knew what that meant and crossed her arms with a pout. "You were the last pokemon in these woods, it was bound to happen sooner or later. We're going to be heading somewhere soon, so we got to get ready for a full report."

She let Dunsparce snack on the apple bait and felt a slight heat, she looked around to find something slithering down a tree, a hairy larva that has glowing horns and blue eyes. The electromancer stood corrected as Poppy turned, saw a specimen of particular power and gasped. "Well... I'm glad that I came out here." She took a beast ball and had it open. "Jenny, this Larvesta's a whole lot stronger than it looks."

Out of the ball and in a ripple akin to a wormhole, is white glass like jellyfish. With a rim and transparent color of yellow. It undid it's cloak like tentacles for dramatic flare as the Larvesta charged up in fire and charged, the jellyfish flew to the side as Poppy commanded. "Thunder wave, I'll do the rest!"

The jellyfish floated above the insect and shot down a thunder wave to paralyze it's target, Poppy brought out a net ball and captured it in one throw. Click! Poppy approached elegantly and picked up the ball as the jellyfish gave a twirl akin to a little girl celebrating. Elrena and her duo blurted out at once. "Who the heck is this?"

Poppy sighed and apologized. "I probably should have introduced you sooner, my Raichu wasn't the best candidate to fight this bug type, so I thought to give an introduction to the next possible encounter you'll find. This is Jenny, my Nihilego. A poison and rock type. Code named UB-01. Symbiont. Most consider this Ultra Beast as a dangerous parasite that has a strange venom that scrambles your head. But with a bit of training, they're quite the darling partners."

The Nihilego might be blushing and tipped her rim like one a hat as Poppy clarified. "I was informed by my cousin, that some Ultra Beasts are in the worlds and one of the captured ones is a Poipole." She posed hand like a bar and raise it high as a way to showcase how much of a danger level that would be. "If they're back in their worlds or with a trusty partner, then they'd be fine. But out in a place that's alien to them, they're one bad encounter to become a danger to everyone and themselves."

Elrena ohed, envisioning one peril a traveler would face when discovering a new world. "Just what you'd expect from a traveler or a guy who's lost their world. I get that." Poppy nodded and put the Larvesta's ball into a bag. "And we've been found by a Larvesta around there. That was a forest fire waiting to happen. Especially if they're close to evolving. Unlike most larva pokemon, this one takes a long time to get to that stage, but when they do they become the Sun incarnate!"

She imagined a place where that would be a blessing. "I've heard that there is a town that's under a perpetual night. You're thinking what I'm thinking?" Elrena gasped and imagined a miracle for a star lit town. "We should deliver this to Mayor Wanda and tell her we have a way to give Traverse a real day cycle. I'll bet that would really brighten the towns people too."

Poppy envisioned a wonder to behold and advised. "Let's give one more check and head back to the school zone. I'd want to announce something that's been long awaiting." Elrena knew any overlooked pokemon could spell disaster for the town if left alone. "Yeah, we need to catch the tracks on any wannabe kaijus before they evolve into something like that." She asked eagerly. "Hey, Dunsparce, do you know any that are burrowed deep around here or something? Any strong pokemon that aren't Drampa?"

The Dunsparce remembered one particular pokemon and shook his head. (Not from where I was digging, Larvitars are kind of obvious to any diggers.) Poppy advised. "I'll go check for any telling signs while you have Dunsparce burrow around here again. The last thing we need is a Pupitar to burst out of the ground and transform into a Tyranitar this close to town."

Elrena clapped to the Dunsparce. "For real, Litzia said that one's the reason maps are redrawn and is a beast to bring down if we have to go there. See if there's anything we would miss before we head back to the town." The snake sighed and dug under to have a look.

At the gathering by the school zone.

Denryk and the outskirt squad were having some ice cream while Mr. Mime was leaning on an imaginary wall being silly. The hoodlum noticed Roxas, Dorlu a vast quantity of a crew and whistled loudly. "Dang, that's a big crowd."

Roxas looked to the latest capture, just as impressed. "Nincada evolved and I had a ball for the other pokemon he turned into. Everyone," he introduced the four. "This is Ninjask, Shedinja and the Eevee brothers that evolved into an Espeon and Umbreon." The Espeon giggled (Pleased to meet you!) as Umbreon sprinted to the misfits, looking at Axew, Pineco and Oricorio. (I've seen ya in the woods! This is where you went off to?)

The bird nodded vainly as the bag worm spun with hints of a smile. Then came Namine, Dupmic and the other half of the gang. Litzia noticed the Mr. Mime leaning in place and sprinted to analyze and ask questions while poking at the invisible wall. "How did this wall get here?! Is it part of his power? How were you able to bypass this?" Denryk shifted his eyes sideways. "I think he can make walls and use his power by miming, so I mimed back with an imaginary grenade."

Namine felt a mental explosion and gave an unlady like snort. "Denryk, are you serious?"

The hoodlum blushed and focused on the Mr. Mime that accepted a worthy foe. "The guy was a smart alec but-" he smiled. "that's what I'm liking about him."

The Mr. Mime gave his partner a thumbs up as the Espeon is amused. (Miming is a fun game when you let yourself imagine greater things.)

Namine found that oddly charming and warned her cohort. "Just be careful if you play that around those who would get the wrong idea." Denryk giggled manically as the witch asked. "Alright, this is every pokemon we have accounted for up here? No sneakers?"

Roxas focused to the brothers and the Mime. "Besides these guys?" Medy showed a Toxel that was wanted to continue a nap as Lauriam brought about a Shuckle that slithered his head out of his shell with a distinct style. The flower specialist suggested. "Once Poppy and Elrena return with news, this should mark every capture that needs to be addressed."

Lea showed the Tauros's ball. "There's just that one pokemon that's flying by the mansion, that Drampa?"

"Hold it, hold it! Was Tauros the only pokemon you found over there?"

The gang looked to find Poppy and Elrena returning. The electromancer looked like she had a sprint as Lea recalled. "Those wormholes showed up above the town and at the woods, if anything is over that meadow, it would have been seen by now." Poppy nodded. "Right, right and there would have been some obvious burrows otherwise."

She showed a net ball and a picture of Larvesta. "We found this in the woods and if he evolved over there, that would have smoked the whole place in flames. Dunsparce made sure there wasn't any burrowers we would miss." Lea was drawn in by the hints of fire. "So that's the last of the surprises we're in for?"

Poppy nodded. "Yeah, save for the Drampa. Namine, what do you know about this dragon?" Namine recalled near perfectly. "He's a tough pokemon that Kairi, Xion and Azu met a while ago. They've rescued him and those mushrooms that were stranded in a far off world over a week ago. According to the Dex, Drampa's like to keep to themselves unless it made friends with some of the children. Then he visits that spot often and anyone who's foolish enough to bully his friends, since we haven't seen any houses burning-" Poppy moved the description along. "He's kept to himself until that incident last night, he needs to be captured before the forces of darkness try to go after him again and take him as that powerful storm dragon."

She asked the gang. "Be ready to move your efforts to the next town. These four know Drampa enough that they'll finish this mission." Litzia understood and lead the way. "Come on, we need to get to packing."

With the grown ups calling their partners back and hurrying, Poppy was left with the teenagers and asked. "Drampa is likely a league above you all, but he is beatable. What do your partners have?"

Namine checked the moves each pokemon had and pointed to Umbreon first. "Foul play, yawn, wish and helping hand." Then to Espeon. "Psybeam, calm mind, helping hand and dazzling gleam." She focused on the Mr. Mime. "Mimic, psybeam, dazzling gleam and wide guard." She knows that wide guard blocks away wide range attacks and looked to Dupmic and his Murkrow. "I think we got a plan." She checked the T.M machine and readied a disc labeled dragon pulse before applying the Poipole's ball to it. "And some type advantage wouldn't hurt."

Poppy kept quiet about what Namine is doing as Dupmic checked the moves Schemy has. "Besides prankster, Schemy knows thunder wave, brave bird, snarl and foul play." Denryk gasped. "Snarl, that move that dampens special attacks?" He clapped. "Oh, oh, oh! I know how we can make that Drampa hit like a breeze. Mimer's got ya covered."

A few minutes of planning later.

The five kids hurried up the hill to the old manor as Poppy repeat the plan she heard. "Facing Drampa all at once could, in theory, chip away at him until he is weak enough for a ball. Between Namine's plan with Arty, that Meditite she captured and Paint Squirt, that could be feasible in itself. Then we consider Dupmic having Schemy use snarl while Denryk put's Mimey's skills as a mime and as a fairy type to use. All the while, Roxas and Umbreon have the staying power and support. This is the accumulation of all the work that have been put in for the last two days, so make it count and we can head over to Traverse without regret." The teenagers reached the manor, where Drampa was sky watching and resting up.

The dragon noticed the youngster that kept to the side of the fence, serving as the referee. Roxas bopped his head to a choice of words. "Drampa, a lot of pokemon have gotten themselves lost across the worlds. This town included, we're organizing a mission to get these pokemon gathered somewhere that will be safer for them. Just about every corner has been caught either by us or by the people we trust to get that done, now it's your turn. Will you let us challenge you?"

Drampa raised his head and gave the teenagers a judging look, in a moment he closed his eyes in a decision and readied for an encounter. The four looked to each other in confidence and sent out their partners, Umbreon, Arty, Schemy and Mimer. The four pokemon gave a battle cry to initiate the challenge, the Drampa grunted and inhaled. Denryk ordered. "Make a wide wall, asap!"

The Mr. Mime waved to make a wide, invisible barrier that deflected a hyper voice roar. That was the opening, Roxas ordered ."Umbreon use wish!" Namine ordered. "Arty, execute nuzzle!" Dupmic ordered. "Schemy, snarl him!"

The Umbreon closed his eyes in a wish as the Murkrow let loose a dark snarl that demoralize the Drampa that used his head to fling the Smeargle back and follow with a knock out dragon pulse. Namine gasped and called Arty back as Roxas asked. "Umbreon, help out whoever is about to use a strong attack, let's see if there's a pattern."

The Umbreon grunted, ready to help the Murkrow out with his next snarl as Denryk ordered. "Mimer, mimic that snarl and help out!" The Mr. Mime nodded and bared his teeth to copy the Murkrow's aggression. Namine made a switch into Meditite and request. "Follow with force palm!" The fighting type hovered mid air, crossed her legs and rushed at the Drampa to apply a tap, the dragon halted his movement in paralysis. The Umbreon cheered for the Meditite as Schemy and Mimer snarled as one, the Drampa pulsed a vein and roared into a berzerker rage. He raised his limbs up and brought about a surf wave.

Denryk and Mimer raised their hands. "Wide guard!"

Block!

Water rushed over and the Drampa took another force palm that was followed with the Murkrow charging like a brave bird. The elder flapped a hurricane and swept the Meditite away with a super effective knock out. Forcing Namine to make a switch into an eager Poipole. The Drampa let loose a hyper voice that was deflected by a wide guard and Roxas clapped. "Helping hand on Paint Squirt, let's finish this." Denryk pressed his hands together in a clap, Mimer pressed his hands together to mimic that and gave a glow of a dazzle.

The Poipole was drawn to that attack, flew above the Mr. Mime and charged his needles as Namine posed with her right hand aiming fingers to her face. "A pulsing gleam of two worlds-" Denryk smiled wide and aimed his hands high with the Mr. Mime channeling the light in his hands. The trainer and pokemon opened their hands to let loose a gleam as Roxas and Dupmic cheered, the Poipole fired a dragon pulse at the Drampa as the dazzling light bombarded. Both knocked the Drampa over to the side and exposed his belly. Poppy called to the teenagers. "He's vulnerable now, take a ball and throw it!"

Namine went to get a luxury ball and showed it off before twirling like a queen. Fling! Tap! Bop! Bop! Bop! Shake! Click!

The four pokemon gave each other a cheer as the teenagers felt relief, Dupmic asked. "I think we did it?" Roxas smiled wide. "We caught the elder!" Namine had the honors of picking it up while Poipole was giggling and is giving off a glow. The Poipole was evolving into a metamorphosis, turned upside down, sprouted wings and draconic claws. Taking a form very familiar to Pilikia, the evolution ended and the ultra beast landed to the ground in a thud before getting up and taking flight. The Naganadel squeaked out a silly hiss as Namine noticed something where Drampa was, a burgundy plate. The witch picked it up and gave it a read. "Three beings were born to bind time and space." She put the plate away as Poppy was in aw. "A Poipole evolution and one of those plates, and it's just past noon."

The witch nodded, hurried to the trusty poison type and put her hands on the ultra beasts cheeks, cooing affectionately. "Who's a big girl now, you are, yes you are." The Naganadel giggled back as Poppy advised. "So begins the real deal. Once my cousin returns from his adventure, he'll tell you about what's going to be expected, now that you've dealt with this quiet town. This Poipole was allowed to evolve earlier compared to even Leon's, who still acts like a Poipole. Once you're all packed, are you going to be ready to let the town know that this Ultra Beast exist?"

Namine nodded. "I'm not scared of what others are going to say. While pokemon have caused trouble in the town, some of those same creatures have resolved it too. With a little guide along the way."

She suggest to the boys. "Let's get them ready, check the apricorn trees while we're at it and check the Bistro one more time." Roxas hehed with his teeth showing. "I guess we can make use of that if we run into something special over there." He thought about it. "We might be able to make some special balls once we're on a break."

Poppy blushed at the determination. "Just because your mission is moving you elsewhere, doesn't mean you don't have access to this town. So... do you mind telling me about yourselves? I might need to get a log on you four and of the pokemon you're bringing with you." Dupmic crossed his arms and frowned. "Are you sure you want to know?"

Poppy started with her own backstory. "Me and my cousins work closely to the Aether Foundation and that organization has a history of shadey dealings. It's where most of our studies on Ultra Wormholes came from, even before our friends at Ultra Megapologis came into the picture and the former president had a moment of mania that became... problematic for the Foundation and Alola as a whole, for a while. Presently, most of the stains have been cleaned up, but our history in dealing with the you know what's have lead to us containing means that are highly illegal. Me and a friend of mine, Pachi, had to start off as trainers earlier just because of that crisis that happened a couple months ago."

Roxas sighed in pity. "That's rough. I was dragged into a cult that needed me for my ability to use the Keyblade. Sora and his friends cleaned up my mess by putting a stop to it." Dupmic raised his hand. "And I was created by that cult as part of that scheme, I got talked into doing something that costed me my life and a wizard found out that I existed. So me and a Sister of mine got wrapped up into a big scheme where escaping them was the plan." Namine admitted with shame. "Some members of that cult forced me to mess Sora up and that made him disappear for a year." Denryk nodded, knowing the girl can be trusted to keep quiet. "And I happened because the cult leader needed someone's heart. I smashed some of that plan to bits, shot his toady's knee cap off and kept these six ladies safe before I met with my other, found out what was going on and let him have his body back."

Poppy is speechless and had her phone write down. "Background. Anonymous." She promised the four. "I'll tell the relatives that you were those who got dragged into a bad guys scheme some time ago. I don't think you want to tell me the details?"

The four shook their heads and Roxas smiled slyly. "Your cousin might tell you better than we can." Denryk went to get the door. "Especially these three, like there's files worth of stuff with them." The squad leader imagined. "I'd be surprised if they actually made a list. Maybe once we're done packing and we check up on Salandit and the Raticates, we can celebrate?"

The hoodlum perked like a typical kid as Namine called the Ultra Beast back and took a ladies initiative with Poppy, feeling the town have a moment in peace.
