(Chapter 8: Preparing for Bloody Chaos)

It would not be much longer after Ben, Fulgrim, and Mortarion had informed the rest of the Matriarchs of what they had witnessed in the city that Ben had claimed partial territory to. Suffice to say while shock and surprise was abound at this information of a horde of chaos daemons, organizing themselves into an army for whatever purpose they did not know, but knew nonetheless would yield nothing benevolent.

That the answer was clear from those following nights of discussing, that time was of the essence to prepare, train and stand ready to fight against the forces of Chaos that had settled themselves ready to strike on the planet that our intrepid heroes had taken to call as their own.

(June 27th, 10:03 Am, Karakinos, 950. M30)

It would be late into the morning as Ben was currently with Rogal Dorn in fortifying the areas that Ben had laid claim too during his time on the planet, all the while Perturabo was with Bahamut working on more battle droids and artillery that would serve as part of their offensive.

"Quick question, are these chaos daemons showing up like this normal?...I just want to ask because it just seems weird that out of the blue, they're setting up an entire military encampment." Fourarms asked the Imperial Fists Matriarch

"No, this is an extremely rare occurrence. Normally, we are called to deal with daemons that are summoned by chaos cultists that summon no more than a company's worth to 3 at the highest." Rogal Dorn answered back as they continued building the barricades alongside the construction drones

"The fact that they have gathered here to this degree and are this organized, is nothing short of strange and concerning." Rogal Dorn further spoke in regards to the Daemons acting as a militarized front

"It sounds to me like these Daemons are getting smarter if they're doing stuff like this...Maybe they're evolving?" Fourarms spoke as he handed off more materials to be built for sentry towers to his construction drones

"What are you implying by their being able to evolve?" Rogal Dorn questioned somewhat confused

"What I'm implying is that, sooner or later something like this was going to happen. Just like any other civilization, things grow, adapt and change to have a better chance at fighting an enemy. What makes these things from the Warp any different?...If anything it seems pretty short-sighted to expect these things to just stay running around with chickens with their heads cut off forever." Fourarms answered back as he went off to grab more materials for Rogal to continue constructing the defenses of the area

"And if they've got a military type installation here. Then it also means that they haven't been acting crazy for no reason, but probably doing it so they could study and learn from you guys. What better way to adapt to the enemy, than acting like a bunch of lunatics so you can surprise them by being on your A-game? It almost seems like something out of my playbook to be honest." Fourarms further spoke in having sometimes favored the approach of letting the enemy think they were dealing with disorganized chaos before for the kill

"If this is to be proved truthful, then it seems that we have greatly underestimated the forces of Chaos." Was the Imperial Fists Matriarchs' response

"It just may be with what we're up against…Which is why, if I was a betting boy, I'd say that we're about to find out what these daemons can really do; when they have their game face on." Fourarms spoke whilst Rogal Dorn continued to build their fortifications although now with a thoughtful look on her face

"Indeed, and because of that we will need to make sure our defenses are nothing short of impeccable. I will not take any chances when it comes to our continued survival." Rogal Dorn replied as she alongside Fourarms re-doubled their efforts

And as the taciturn Matriarch and shapeshifting hero continued to fortify the areas within reach; that Perturabo and Bahamut were working toward building the battle drones that would assist in the upcoming battle against the Khornite horde. Wherein a combination of infantry, heavy-duty shock troops and vehicles for the Matriarchs to further ride upon were being created, as Bahumut had switched to a humanoid drone in order to better assist the Queen of Iron.

"Is there something wrong, Perturabo?" Bahamut asked the Queen of Iron

"No, there is nothing wrong overall. The soldiers we are producing look as well-made as any Guardsman, or Space Marine." Perturabo curtly answered back

"Then why do you look bewildered by my appearance since we have worked together? I have noticed you being off-put, within the 1st hour of our joint duties." Bahamut remarked

"...It is not out of disgust or fear that I am off-put by. It is that your kind has not been seen for centuries after causing a calamity for mankind. The fact that Ben has made an A.I as well-intentioned; that has not killed us all is…surreal to work alongside." Perturabo told the Artifical intelligence beside her

"That is more than fair for you to worry if I will go rogue, and cause mayhem and undue destruction toward you. Given the nature of this timelines' artificial intelligences. However, I can assure you that will never happen. I was programmed by Ben himself to aid him, and his allies to protect, serve and defend to the best of my abilities. He has quite literally engineered it into my programming that I could never bring harm to others without just and due cause." Bahamut told Perturabo as they continued to work on the mechanized equivalent of a Tactical Dreadnought

"My creator has made sure that the hundreds of safeguards within me, will prevent me from doing so. Something I am most grateful for, if I am to be honest. Even though I know with certainty that a .000000001% chance of corruption to my programming is possible, that should something compromise it that I will be unable to bring harm to his allies or the innocent. To do so would bring immeasurable shame to what I was built for." Bahamut further spoke

"He has thought of nearly everything in order to ensure that you are faithful to your mission statement. That is respectable to know." Was Perturabo's response as she continued working on the heavily armored attack drone

"Ben is nothing if not incredible in what he able to accomplish. He was the reason why many star systems from our time were able to remain intact against galactic tyranny…The amount of times that Earth itself was assailed by alien threats is truly astonishing." Bahamut said back

"I heard him mention that he has defended against Xenos invasions more than a handful of times. The fact that he did so as an adolescent time and time again, is impressive for a human. His ability to wage sieges against them and come out victorious is remarkable…The more that i spend time around him the more that I see that he would bolster the efficiency and strength of my Legion manyfold. " Perturabo spoke in acknowledgement of Ben's abilities when it came to battle

'Not to mention that it is welcoming to find company like-minded as him, when it comes to machinery and artifice. Beyond Sekhmet or Morganna when she wishes me to build her minis' or craft her gifts for her studies of the Warp. Ben is someone who finally understands the joy in creation as well as I.' Perturabo further said to themselves as the briefest flash of a smile could be seen on the usually hard-nosed Matriarch

"Given that he was able to drive the Incurseans off of Earth alongside his allies in a near 9 months long campaign. His skill at siegecraft and warfare, is something prodigous next to his skill in crafting weaponry and the like…It is almost maddening to see live." Bahamut spoke in knowing that Ben was either a monster or a prodigy when it came to battle

"If this is true, then I will be curious to see what exactly he is capable of when we begin...So far his skill in engineering and all things mechanical has been nothing if not impressive. Even the Tech-Preists of Mars would have to give their praise for what he is capable of creating with nothing but scraps." Perturabo said back keen to see what Ben was capable of in live combat

"I believe that you and you're sisters will not be disappointed by what he is capable of. Even moreso for what he has planned for you, Perturabo." Bahamut told the Queen of Iron who stopped working to give a questioning look

"And what exactly does he have planned for me?" Perturabo asked

"The most that I can tell you is that he wanted to make sure that you had a weapon of your own. Seeing as how despite how well-made your armor is, he noticed that you lacked a primary weapon to fight with. As such he has begun working hard to craft you your very own…What it is entirely, I am not at liberty to say. Only that you will have your own to fight with soon enough." Bahamut informed Perturabo who was taken aback by the news

"Why would he do this? He owes me little if anything in the way of gift-giving. All that is between us as it stands is an alliance." Perturabo questioned further

"In his words from what he thinks of you and your sisters thus far. Something that I will play for you in recording 'Perturabo is a pretty great lady to hang around with, she gets me when it comes to making cool stuff, she's locked in with what she needs to be, not to mention she's really pretty, and on top of that she actually likes to build cool robots with me…Do you know how stinkin' rare that is, Bahamut?!...So I figure that if she's gonna help with everything going on and even let me see what cool stuff her Legion does once we get off-planet. Then the least I can do is make her something awesome.' I think that succinctly explains his thoughts on why he is doing so." Bahamut answered back as he played a brief recording to Perturabo who felt her heart skip a beat at the kind words and ones of praise lauded toward her by the Ultimatrix wielder

"Believe me when I say that you and your sisters so far have made an impression on him. Where those impressions lead to from here, I am not sure of. But what I can say is that; they will be something incredible nonetheless." Bahamut further spoke to the Iron Warriors Matriarch who felt in the core of herself a heat threatening to rise to her face at being genuinely thought of in such kindness

"I will keep that in mind for our imminent future after our battle against the daemons. For now, let us return to what must be done. We cannot afford any disadvantage against the forces of Chaos, and I will be damned if I let Warp-spawn make a mockery out of my sisters or myself!" Perturabo responded in refusal to let herself be had by abominations of the Warp

"As you wish." Was Bahamut's sole response he returned to assisting Perturabo

'Still, the fact that he thinks so highly of me in such a short time is…heartwarming. Perhaps, he would not mind sharing in my own creations once we leave this planet.' Perturabo said to herself as if one looked close enough you could see the slight reddening of her cheeks

(The next day, 1:35 Pm, Matriarch Base, 950. M30, June 28th)

Meanwhile, in the following afternoon to come; Ben alongside Lorna, Sekhmet and Leona El'Jonson were gathered on how to better fight against the daemons on their doorstep; wherein the attention was on Ben as he brought up a hail mary of an idea that could legitimately work.

"I will admit that the idea does hold merit. But are you sure it is feasible enough to work?" Sekhmet spoke to the Ultimatrix wielder

"I'm pretty sure it can. Since we have a literal holy-woman with us against fiends from outer space. I'm pretty sure if we let her work her magic, and beef up our defenses, or bless are weapons or stuff like that. That we stand a pretty big chance of beating them into the dirt than if we don't…Plus, we don't really have anything to lose by not doing it." Ben replied to the Luna Wolves Matriarch

"Plus, I trust that with how much of a sleeper powerhouse she is. That she can pull off the biggest assist to date, and I see no reason not to let her have her chance." Ben added as a flattered Lorna Aurellian couldn't help but smile and near-blush

"I appreciate your confidence in my abilities, Ben. However, I have never used the power of my faith to do anything of this magnitude." Lorna Aurellian spoke both appreciative and flustered

"Well, there's no time like the present to see if you can do it. Plus, I know you can do it if you really tried. All you have to do is believe in the strength of what you can accomplish, and before you know it your smiting these things like its nothing!" Ben said in encouraging of the Word Bearers Matriarch

"If you think that it can be done, then I will put the power of my will and faith to the test against these abominable bastards. These foul wretches will soon know the strength of the Imperium firsthand." Lorna Aurellian replied as a fire was lit under her at the idea of using her faith and conviction alone to strike down Chaos

"That's the spirit, Lorna!" Ben told her

"If this to be done as Ben intends to, how long do you think it will take for Lorna to hallow the area and our defenses? Time is of the essence, and every second must count toward an absolute victory against the creatures." Sekhmet queried

"I can go XLR8 and have her covering as much as possible in the next couple of days to a week…This is something experimental all on its own. But if Lorna really commits to this, then it shouldn't take but a few hours max." Ben answered back on his best estimate

"What of you, Lorna? Are you certain that the strength of your conviction, as Tennyson intends can accomplish the warding off and weakening of the Daemons. If not then, our time will have been wasted for nothing." Leona El'Jonson asked her ever-penetrating gaze focused squarely on her sister who took a moment to compose herself before continuing

"The strength of my belief is greater than nearly anyone else on this planet, Leona. I will not have my convictions called into question when it comes to what I place my faith in…You would do well to remember that, Leona." Lorna Aurelian answered back in a rare moment of biting venom toward the Lioness her golden eyes radiating 'Do not ever fucking question my conviction ever again' energy

"However, as Ben has stated this is something I have not tested. So I will also need the assistance of Morganna to make sure that this is implemented correctly. She is the leading authority on warp and spellcraft, as such any assistance she can spare to help will be greatly appreciated." The Word Bearers Matriarch requested

"Consider it done, if this means that this plan can work, and we can weaken the daemons even further. Then her help is all yours." Sekhmet responded

"Now then, Tennyson. How are things coming along on your front? I am assuming well, all things considered?" Sekhmet asked the Ultimatrix wielder

"Everything is going pretty well, so far. Your sabre and Furiosa's chainaxes are done, the barricades still need work, but that's more of a time issue that Rogal and I have handled. Bahamut and Perturabo have our machine soldiers ready in a few more days tiime…about 3 maybe 4 at max. On top of that, I'm working on getting our big guns set up, so we can have artillery ready to go. If we're going to do this, then I want to make sure that we can hit them with maximum efficiency." Ben answered back on the progress of things

"How much in the way of artillery have you made so far, Tennyson? Facing a daemon horde of this scale will require an arsenal to match if not fully devastate anything they may have against us." Leona El'Jonson questioned the Ultimatrix wielder

"Enough to glass a city…or closer to a bakers' dozen on the safe side in case a scorched earth protocol had to be done...Just in case things go south, and I needed to make sure that any hostiles stayed dead by nuking them out of existence" Ben told said Matriarch as Sekhmet looked surprised at that statement and Leona in slightly impressed

"Ok in my defense, I was stockpiling in case I had to deal with another alien invasion happening. I have dealt with too many to get caught with my pants down…So I may have started building an assortment of gamma bombs to wipe out a few major cities worth of enemies to be safe." Ben informed the 3 Matriarchs

"And you did this from the time you have been on this planet, until now?" Sekhmet asked

"Mmmhmm. I really, really, really do not like getting caught with my pants down by anything. So just to be safe, I want to make sure that if something does happen. That I can enact a scorched earth policy." Ben answered back in having learned throughout his career that it was better to be safe than sorry

"At least we can agree on that subject. Here I had thought that you were nothing more a than prankster; skilled at weaponscraft." Leona El'Jonson said in respect of the sentiment

"As long as it will work and save the most amount of lives possible. Then it doesn't matter if it is paintballs or plasma cannons…If it works it works." Ben replied

"That being said, we are going to have to worry about taking the fight to them at some point. Because, while we can fight the little guys till the sun comes up. Getting rid of the big guy as quickly as possible, and taking out their shit is gonna be a priority once we get things better established." Ben told the Matriarchs knowing that the big-boss daemon was gonna be a major problem

"What do you suggest be done about it, then?" Leona El'Jonson questioned

"Well, who do we have that's the best at stealth and infiltrating?" Ben asked back

"That would be Branwen and Konstance who are our best at stealth and infiltration. While Branwen is the best at stealth and sabotage regardless, Konstance is not far behind her in that aspect." Sekhmet replied in regards to her sisters

"Great, because I'll need those two with me for what I have planned; to take some of the piss out these guys." Ben said back as he took a metal pyramid out of his backpack that displayed a holographic projection of the cityscape

"Since my plan is to go Ghostfreak and have them help me plant explosives across their encampment. Where once we get in there and do the deed, we can blow up their weaponry, vehicles and anything else they've got, an possibly take out a good handful of them as a bonus." Ben further spoke as to what he had planned as he zoomed into the section of the map where the daemons had made their encampment

"That is a large risk you are taking by going into the heart of their encampment. One wrong move made and you could get caught." Said a worried Lorna

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. Plus, if it makes everyone feel better. I'm gonna be pulling a few all-nighters to make some cloaking and sound-nullifying tech. It's gonna be a pain in the ass to do, but it'll definitely be worth it; when we blast these guys back to space hell." Ben responded

"You seem to have an answer for nearly everything? What is your answer for if you or any of my sisters are caught, during your excursion." Leona El'Jonson questioned critical of the plan

"I literally have a device that can turn me into aliens who are capable of destroying cities at bare minimum and planets or even star systems at max. So I'm pretty sure if things go south, I can buy us time get the hell out of dodge." Ben answered back

For if there was one thing that Ben was confident in, it was his mastery over his aliens against nearly any potential threat that came his way, and after all that he had faced in his 20 plus years of superhero work; these daemons were just another nameless mook to be taken care of from his purview.

"If you are certain that this will work. Then make the needed preparations to make it happen." Sekhmet said to Ben with all of the seriousness of a Matriarch

"I do without a shadow of a doubt, Sekhmet. I wouldn't be putting this forward unless I knew it would work." Ben told her with utmost faith and confidence

"Good, and if nothing else. Then that will convene this meeting for the the day, we will gather again later this evening. I appreciate all of your time expended, and you are free to leave...except for you Tennyson. I wish to ask you one more thing." Sekhmet spoke as the Luna Wolves matriarch nodded to both Lorna and Leona to leave her and Ben by themselves

"I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say that this is about what we're going to be up against?" Ben questioned the Lupercal

"Yes and no. While I am aware of the threat we are up against. I would also like to ask, how you are so proficient in the manners of war? You are barely into your 3rd decade, and yet you show the composure and tactical awareness of a decorated and veteran Commissar…The fact that you were able to so quickly assess the situation and make plans accordingly to fight against the daemons is rather impressive. Even I must admit; that the thought of weaponizing Lorna's faith would have never occurred to me." Sekhmet questioned

"I had a really good teacher to show me the ropes…My Grandpa wasn't just a great guy, he was also one helluva battle instructor when it came to doing this kind of thing. I don't think that I would be half the man I am, without his help." Ben answered back

"Your grandfather sounds like a wise man and great commander. He would have no doubt made for a great Comissar of the Imperial Guard from what it sounds like." Sekhmet spoke regarding the veteran Plumber

"He was, even when he was in his golden years. You would think that he was half that, with how good he was in a fight. Heck, he's half the reason why I wanted to be a hero in the first place…Both as a man and a leader, he was and still is everything I aspire to be when I get anywhere close to his age." Ben replied in being the first to admit that even still he idolized his grandfather

"I just wish that I could have told him, thank you for everything he taught me; when I had the chance. He was and still is…my greatest hero." Ben further spoke as he felt regret for not being able to express these feeling before Grandpa Max was put into an induced coma during the Chimera Wars that left him fatally injured

"I may not have known him myself. But if he is half of what you say he is, then I have no doubt in my mind that he would be proud of you as you are. In the short time we have known you, you have shown yourself to be nothing but both exceptional and an asset to us. Not many can say that they could heal Furiosa, befriend Konstance, or have Perturabo to show anything less than utter loathing." Sekhmet said to the Ultimatrix wielder as she put a massive hand on his shoulder

"Which is why, I will say this to you. You are a good man Ben Tennyson and I know that when leave this planet. That you will make a worlds' worth of changes that will bring much-needed good in the Imperium. After all, if you can do what you have accomplished with scraps on a near-barren planet in 2 months; then I am keen to see what you can accomplish when you have the backing of my sisters, and the years ahead of yourself to truly do good in the greater galaxy." Sekhmet further spoke as she gave a reassuring grin to the Ultimatrix wielder who gave a small smile in return

"Thanks, for the pick-me up, Sekhmet, I appreciate it…You know, if this Great Crusade thing of yours ever ends. You could make a killing as a motivational speaker." Ben said back as a full-belly laugh escaped her

"Hmph, I just might take you up on that. For now, let us get to work on preparing for the battles ahead. We have a lot of work to do, if we are to defeat these abominations." Sekhmet spoke as Ben nodded in agreement

"Let's get it done, and then get back to getting you guys home…I guess I can add daemon-slayer to my resume when I get to Earth or Terra. Sorry, it is gonna take a while to call my home Terra, 20+ years of calling it Earth to that, is going to be an adjustment." Ben told the Luna Wolves Matriarch as he let out a near-thunderous yawn

"You are more than fine. However, I will suggest that you take a few moments rest to recover your strength. When was the last time that you were able to gain a good nights' rest?" The Lupercal questioned in noticing the heavy bags under Ben's eyes

"Damn, that's a good question. Considering that right after crashing here I got done with fighting my arch-nemesis in a years long war. To having to build and fortify my own territory, on top of making ships for myself and you guys to get us out of here in one piece. Alongside helping to go up against the Chaos monsters…I haven't really slept well in years. Probably like 5-6 hours of sleep on a good day, and 3ish on a shit day." Ben informed Sekhmet

"Perhaps, it will be best for you to rest then. We need you to operate at full capacity instead of at a lessened one. So despite your impressive work rate, I will say this now that it is best that you sleep while you can." Sekhmet told Ben knowing that having him working in this perpetually exhausted state was good to no one

"Good point, I'll catch you guys in a few hours then…Wake me up if anything happens." Ben said being too tired after operating on so little sleep to argue with the nearly 10-foot tall woman

'At the very least, he is committed to the task at hand…Although, we will have to work on correcting his sleeping habits once we return to Terra. Having an asset as capable as him operating on so little rest, is unacceptable.' Were the thoughts of the Lupercal as she went onwards to see how things were going with Jaghatai who was on security duty with Mortarion

(3 days later, Karakinos, 3:09 Pm, July 1st, 950. M30)

Meanwhile, the White Scars Matriarch was with Ben, Furiosa, Fulgrim and Konstance; with said Matriarch wanting to in lieu of the upcoming battle had wanted to see what Ben and his transformations were capable of against the threat of the Daemons.

"Are you sure you wanna do this Jaghatai? Because I'm not gonna lie when I say that some of my stuff can pack a wallop." Ben asked the Kahn who had her blade out at the ready

"I am positive of it, Tennyson. I have heard you talk of your exploits in years past against Xenos and enhanced humans. As well as your bout against Furiosa despite her being compromised." Jaghatai Kahn spoke as she drew her blade

"That in addition to our impending battle, has me curious to the level of skill you can preform at. If you are as capable as you say you are, then you have nothing to worry about against the daemons…Not to mention there will be threats abound that will challenge you in a similar manner to what we are capable of. The galaxy has changed massively since your time." Jaghatai Kahn added

"If you say so, and I can take a stab in the dark; that we do this until your good with what I can off in a scrap?" Ben asked as he turned into Goop

"Yes…Although, I fail to see how turning yourself into a sentient pile of slime will do anything against me." Jaghatai Kahn responded albeit confused as to why he had turned into this transformation

"I might look weird, but my aliens can still kick your butt!" Goop said as before swelling himself up like a balloon

All before foring his midsection to explode in a swarm of fists made of surprisingly dense green slime; that while the Kahn was able to evade them with inhuman speed, she alongside her fellow Matriarchs noticed that where the fists did impact had done so with the force of a Bolter shot. Yet what made it all the more odd was despite them missing her that instead of continuing to fly off into who knows where, that they instead bounced about and rebounded towards her, with increased speed as they came at her as lime-green missiles of great force.

Jaghatai quick as a lightning strike was able to parry and deflect the constructs that came rebounding towards her, her arms a whirlwind of fluid motion as she swiped and slashed apart the sludge-like barrage of fists that crashed into her one after the other. However, Goop had as this was happening thrust one of his arms out to fire off a fire-hose like steam of dense slime aimed at the Kahn's legs, that she was able to deftly avoid as she leaped into the air to avoid it and the fists that retracted and congealed into Goop's own mass.

Yet Goop stretched his upper body outwards with the speed of a mortar shell and lanced after her his body warbling and shifting into a warbling mass of slime that whilst Jaghatai was able to cut through with ease, to the worry of Konstance and even Fulgrim; that Furiosa remained unphased and confident in Ben's capabilities. As instead of said slime falling to the ground that it instead proceeded to quickly spiral around her and engulfed her from the shoulders down in a prison of bright lime-green slime that had the consistency of tar, as it then hurtled downwards at great speeds, wherein Jaghatai began to struggle and writhe out of the vicious binds that entrapped her.

Wherein as they descended the Kahn was able to work her blade to slice her way out, and maneuver out of the way from the vicious binds, as they were mere meters from crashing into the ground, as Goop splashed onto the ground with an audible SCCCHHLIICKK sound; before his projector raised him forward to be hurtled at Jaghatai with the force of a bolter. However, instead of preparing to fight against the slime-like alien with her blade, a flash of emerald light spread across her senses as she found herself kicked in the stomach so hard she was sent flying nearly 20 feet backwards, but not before she used her sword to swiftly stop her skidding across the battleground.

As her new opponent was none other than a bipedal 8-and-a-half-foot-tall chickhawk with large scythe-like blades on either arm, with a powerfully muscular build reminiscent of a heavyweight kickboxer that was focused in his arms and legs; that wore a dark green and black attire reminiscent of a Muay Thai fighter; where the Ultimatrix lay on a strap on his left bicep. This was none other than Kickin Hawk who took a Lethwei stance as he let out a loud CAAAWWW, as he gave the Kahn a 'come and get some' motion with his left hand, that the Matriarch of the White Scars was all too happy to oblige, as the two raced after one another.

The resulting clash once the two opposing forces made contact was a sight to behold, as the two were able to fight against one another in a high-intensity clash of kicks, knees, elbows, slashes, and parries as neither Kickin Hawk or Jaghatai were giving either the edge against the other. So much so was their opposing clash of attacks that gusts of wind began to whip about, as they changed stances, exchanged, parried, and countered each other's attack with such speed and agility; that two anyone else it looked as though they were colorful blurs of motion.

"Do you believe me now, that he is a capable warrior, Fulgrim?" Furiosa spoke as the Ultimatrix wielder and Matriarch clashed with impressive speed and skill

"I will admit that I did not know what to make of his martial skill. However, given that he is able to match the Kahn's blade with his bare hands. He has my attention now more than ever, his form, skill and speed are impeccable to hold out against Jaghatai's assault. Now I am curious to see how he would fair against myself in a duel." Fulgrim replied as she watched the Ultimatrix wielders' performance against the Matriarch

"He would fair the same if not better than he is now. Unlike the Kahn, you are a featherweight when it comes to enduring a fight of brutality and attrition." Furiosa said to her sister

"I may not be some musclebound behemoth like you, but I can assure you that my good looks are not the only thing wondrous about myself. My skill with Firebrand is more than enough to hold my own against anyone." Fulgrim retorted to the more imposing of the Matriarchs

"Yet I could snap you in half without Gorefather and Gorechild with ease. Now that I am no longer a raging monster of a woman, and my thoughts and skills once more my own. I doubt that I would need much to destroy you in a duel…Even the use of one of my axes would be overkill." Furiosa said back in confidence of her martial might now that the Butchers Nails no longer held her back

"Then once Jaghatai and Ben are done, we can settle that matter as swift as a bolter round through a Daemon's skull. I am sure that Ben would enjoy seeing the elegance of my blade clashing against the brutality of your axes." Fulgrim haughtily responded with her trademarked 'I'm better than you and I know it' grin smugly across her face

"Consider it done, Fulgrim." Was Furiosa's sole response as they watched Kickin Hawk deadlocked with one another

'At least this duel is entertaining enough to distract from their needless bickering.' Were the Night Lords' Matriarchs' thoughts as she watched the deadlock continue

All the while Kickin Hawk managed to end the deadlock when he leaped up to land a hook kick to Jaghatai's temple quicker than she could parry it, briefly stunning her as a follow-through roundhouse kick to her side; before unleashing a flying knee that was parried in the knick of time. However, she was caught in the face by a spinning elbow that while she was able to mitigate the brunt of the damage done; but it was all of what Kickin Hawk needed as she parried a follow-through stomp kick into a massive overhand right; to grapple with her into a solid clinch.

Wherein Kickin Hawk began to land a series of thudding knees and punches to the body; that had the Matriarch on the unexpected backfoot due to the awkward position of the clinch that did not allow her to leverage her blade to attack and counter against the body shots lauded to her…That was until she reared her head back and headbutted the bipedal avian warrior hard enough to knock him back, and launch a two-handed swing of her sword at his neck, that he was able to swiftly block and return with a counter right hook to her jaw that in that same motion was parried by her blade.

All the while as they once more began to exchange blows did the White Scars Matriarch have to admit to herself, that the Ultimatrix wielder was a formidable warrior, as not once during their bout did his form or ferocity falter in the slightest. With his kicks be they stomp kicks to her knees, front kicks and roundhouse kicks to her body that stung like bolter rounds, or the occasional flurry of rapid-fire side kicks and hook kicks to the body and skull; alongside elbows and the occasional knee flowed together with almost liquid precision in their cadence.

Despite this she was able to counter, parry, and keep her own offensive going against the transformation; that made her warrior spirit swell as both attacked each other with great speed and aggression; to where the winds around them howled in their clashes. Where kicks, knees, elbows and sword swings clashes against one another whilst both parties grinned at the sheer adrenaline rush given from their bout, as Kickin Hawk feinted an elbow uppercut that was blocked by Jaghatai; who in turn went to sucker-punch him in his beak.

However, this was soundly deflected by one of the large scythe-like blades on his arm, and for her troubles was met with a powerful front kick to the stomach that pushed away, but not before he was given a cut across his feathered cheek and beak for his as well. Yet neither party was deterred as Kickin Hawk rushed in at full speed toward Jaghatai who bounded toward him as a blur of motion, where either party met in the middle to deliver a blistering salvo of attacks to each other.

Wherein the Kahn took a barrage of gattling-gun-like side kicks to the face that bloodied her nose and gave a handful of bruises for her troubles, while in return Kickin Hawk was caught with a number of slashes to the chest from the masterful hands of Jaghatai. But before the White Scars Matriarch could go in for another swing of her blade; another flash of green erupted into view as a great golden fist covered in brilliant arcs of electricity caught her in the stomach with such force she nearly felt the air in her body leave her lungs.

The follow-through hammerfists that followed that soon caused flashes yellow lightning to erupt from each impact, as Jaghatai found herself staring up at the hulking form of Shocksquatch who stood every bit as large as Vulkan, his bestial shadow looming over her as he pounded into her with electrified overhangs with a relentless cadence. Each thunderous blow pushed the White Scars into the ground to the point it began to crater, as Jaghatai gritted her teeth against the hammer-blows that struck with not only great force, but enough electrical might to make even her shudder.

So in order to end the almost animalistic flurry of blows rained down upon her, did she quickly parry a wild overhand coming down towards her and redirect it away in order to land a sideswipe to his flank, but this did not go as planned as with a loud roar he erupted in a barrier of golden electricity; stopping the blade in it's tracks. All before he then raised the power of his electrical barrier to blast the White Scars Matriarch away from him with such power that even the Matriarchs watching had to shield their eyes; in order to not be blinded by the power of the attack.

However, Jaghatai was able to hold off the blast of lightning and with a mighty swing of her blade deflect it, but not before having to block Shocksquatch who came rushing after her on all fours; to smash into her with a massive right hook that came in at surprising speeds. The Kahn quickly blocking the deceptively swift attack that caused a flash of lightning to erupt between them, as another burst of surprising speed from the electrical behemoth caught the Kahn with an electrified shovel hook to the liver that had her grind her teeth from the strength of the blow, as numerous bolts of electricity ripped their way into her body.

All before a follow-through electrified overhand to the temple landed flush against her face, but not before the Kahn retaliated with a thrust that managed to get through the dense electrified fur of Shocksquatch and cut into his side; leaving a trio of thin lines of crimson as she landed some 30 feet opposite of the Ultimatrix wielder. The White Scars Matriarch wiping the blood from her face with a satisfied look at the skill of the Ultimatrix wielder, who held an excited look of contentment on her face whilst the Ultimatrix wielder stood in his favored fighting stance; ready for another go around if needed.

"I think that we can conclude things here, Tennyson. You have proven yourself more than adequate against what is to come." Jaghatai Kahn spoke as she wiped the blood from her weapon

"Are you sure we're good? Because, I'm still ready for some action." Shocksquatch asked whilst the Matriarch sheathed her weapon

"Yes, you have shown yourself that you truly are formidable. I will admit, those Xenos forms of yours are powerful; had this been a legitimate battle between us; I would have found myself in danger of defeat." Jaghatai Kahn admitted in where credit was due to Ben's transformations

"You aren't a lightweight yourself, now I can see why you're called one of the fastest there is. I was having to pull out the stops to keep up…Heck, I almost had to go Ultimate Kickin Hawk or even Xlr8 to get one over on you." Shocksquatch told the White Scars Matriarch before he transformed back into his human form

"I am curious to the strength of these Ultimate forms of yours? What would have happened should you have chosen to do so?" Jagahtai Kahn questioned

"It really doee depend on the alien I choose to go Ultimate with. If it was with Goop then I would've been able turn myself into a giant sludge monster that could tank anything you throw at me, and absorb the area around us to get even bigger and stronger. If it were Kickin Hawk then I would've been a lot faster and could've lit myself on fire when I hit you too, on top of being strong enough to punch a building to dust in one go. Then if it were Shocksquatch, you would've had to deal with me being able to summon storm-clouds to ride on and fuck you up with mini thunderstorms and tornadoes, or just doing one giant lightning roar that could turn a few city blocks dust in a split-second." Ben answered back as he lifted the potential outcomes for each Ultiamate

"Honestly, its dealers choice on what happens when I go Ultimate. Since its 31 flavors of getting fucked up to be real with you, Jagahtai." Ben further spoke

"Hmph, then that is all the more reason to have you on our side. In fact, it would do our legions good to have you train them to counter future Xenos threats…With so much of the galaxy still left unconquered, there are enemies out there that we have yet to encounter, and your transformations show that we have much to grow from if we are to be ready." Jaghatai Kahn said back as Ben rubbed his wounds

"If there's anything I can do to help, this Great Crusade is gonna be a breeze…I have so many ideas on how to get things going. Which reminds me, when we get out of here. How do you feel about me giving your Legions' armor an update to go even faster?...Nothing says absolute speed-freak like being able to break the sound barrier on a whim." Ben told the Matriarch who grinned at the idea as she wiped blood off of her face

"That idea certainly holds merit. Come, we can discuss more on the idea while you recover from our bout." Jaghatai Kahn said as Ben groaned in agreement as traveled alongside said Matriarch

"It seems that you were correct after all, Furiosa, Ben's display against Jagahtai was certainly entertaining to witness. His skill and prowess were quite remarkable to witness." Fulgrim spoke regarding Ben's martial abilities

"I told you that he was a skilled warrior. His use of those Xenos forms are nothing to be underestimated, even now as I train with him to refine my skills as a warrior, am I on the defensive against him. He may undersell himself in eccentricity, but he is a cunning and relentless warrior at heart." Furiosa replied

"And why do I feel that there is more to this than you're letting on?" Fulgrim asked the World Eaters Matriarch who looked at her with a scrutinizing gaze

"What are you insinuating, Fulgrim?" Furiosa questioned

"What I am insinuating you behemoth, is that as with Konstance here, you may yet have growing feelings for him…Considering what he's done for you and you being the closest to him, out of all of us. It simply makes sense that you may have something budding between you two." Fulgrim answered back with a cheeky grin

"Do you have feelings for Ben, Furiosa?" Konstance Kurze questioned as well

"I cannot say for certain what feelings I do have for him, beyond gratitude for what he has done for me. But what I do know is that I owe him a life debt for returning my sense of self to me. Had he not, then I would have remained a slave to my wrath." Furiosa answered back knowing that beyond her immense gratitude and growing camaraderie that she could not define what other feelings she had

"And what of you, Konstance? What do you desire from Ben, I have seen how you act around him as well, and never would I have imagined someone as feared acting like a lovestricken puppy." Furiosa questioned the Night Lord Matriarch

"I will admit to having some…affections for him. However, they are ones that I am exploring with him. He is the one of the rare few to make me feel…better about what I am, and I wish to maintain that for as long as possible." Konstance Kurze replied

"Then we will need to think of something to aid in that when we return to Terra. Last I remember, the Imperium as a whole isn't the most welcoming toward Xenos, and Ben's ability to willingly and freely transform into them presents problem to any relationship or allyship with him." Furiosa spoke in regards to that particular chestnut

"Yes, that is a particularly meddlesome thorn if we want to keep him at our side…It would be a shame to lose someone of his talents, especially when he is not only pleasant company, but is so eager to help us." Fulgrim said in not wanting to lose Ben if only for his likeminded appreciation of the arts

"That is why, once we deal with the threat of the Daemons, we must convene with Sekhmet on the matter. I have an idea to help make sure that Ben can still be of a part of what is to come, while mitigating the backlash of what he is." Furiosa told her fellow Matriarchs who looked on interest

"What do you have in mind, Furiosa?" Fulgrim questioned

"It is something that can work in practice, but if it succeeds. Then we may have Ben as a long-term friend and ally to our legions, without involving him in the power-plays of those within the Imperium." Furiosa answered back as she began to tell her sisters of what she had come up with

(3 days later, July 4th, 950. M30 9:45 Pm, Karakinos)

Meanwhile, as the next few night had wore on as Ben, Lorna, and Morganna had worked tirelessly to implement his plan of using the power of Lorna's faith to bless and Hallow their defenses, which thanks to Morganna's help was made possible much to the excitement of Lorna that her faith was made into something truly powerful. All the while, Lorna who was exhausted from doing so ceaselessly over the past near week had decided to head back to the Matriarch's base and rest after exhausting so much power.

"Well, we've just about done it…Thanks for all your help, Morganna. Without you, I don't think we could've gotten this far." Ben thanked the one-eyed sorcereress

"Of course, my knowledge of warpcraft and magic is unparalleled in the Imperium. Only the Emperor himself can potentially match my knowledge of the subject." Morganna the Red boasted to the Ultimatrix wielder

"It certainly shows. I may not be a wizard or a Psyker like you, but I can say that your magic is something else…Reminds me of the stuff my cousin used to make." Ben said looking over the magenta-colored runes that lay over the barricades

"Was your cousin a Psyker as well?" Morganna the Red questioned with interest

"No, as there wasn't any Warp, or Daemons, or anything like that in my time. We only had magic instead, so all of this Psyker stuff and the Warp is new territory to me." Ben answered back much to the surprise of the Thousand Sons Matriarch

"The Warp doesn't exist in your timeline?! But how is that possible, the Warp itself is omnipresent in its totality across the known universe. It allows us to traverse the known galaxy, and allow us Psykers to do so much in the way of our abilities. Yet you say that it does not exist in your timeline?!" Morganna the Red questioned in shock and confusion of this

"Yeah, that stuff is nowhere to be found from my timeline. Instead, we just travel the universe by just going at light speed and going through the stars without much trouble than that…Other than your bog-standard pirates, crime-lords and such; we don't really have any of this Warp nonsense to mess with." Ben informed the towering Matriarch before him

"This is incredibly illuminating to hear…Would you mind telling me more about the magic of your time was like? I would like to hear more about it, and compare how it operates to what I use with my strength as a Psyker." Morganna the Red said her singular eye beaming to hear about it

"I honestly can't really tell you all that much on it, since my cousin Gwen was the one who knows about this more than I ever could. In fact, she is designated as the strongest mage on our planet all-together. But I can tell you what I do know of it from helping her find spellbooks and other magical nonsense." Ben replied

"That sounds wonderful…you have my utmost attention, Ben Tennyson. Tell me all of what you know." Morganna the Red said back her full attention concentrated solely on the Ultimatrix bearer

From therein Ben began to explain to the red-skinned Psyker on what Mana and spellcraft was to the best of his ability; from what he had learned in his ventures with Gwen into the domain of purest arcana and mana, as well as their adventures into the alternate realm of Ledgerdomain. While Ben was able to give a rather straightforward and logic-based explanation despite it not being as widespread and in-depth to what Gwen would have been able to educate the one-eyed Matriarch in, it was more than enough to hold her attention.

If anything Morganna the Red was wide-eyed in fascination of the applications of what this Mana could do, as the magic of Ben's timeline was something to be inspired by at the sheer magnitude and almost absurdity of what she was hearing. So much so that once Ben had finished his explanation of it, and some of his tales of what he had seen Gwen accomplish with her magic and mastery over mana that she felt more inspired than ever to expand her knowledge of warp-craft and learning of arcane knowledge.

"That's mainly all of what I've got for you, Morganna. I know it isn't what you were hoping to hear, but it's all I can really say on short notice. Since there's a lot more that I have recorded on the Ultimatrix from our adventures, as well as some stuff on my phone I can show you, after we finish the battle against these monsters." Ben told her

"You do not need to apologize at all, Ben. If anything your explanations of this mana and the spellcraft of your time, has left me inspired!" Morganna the Red replied enthusedly

"Really? I didn't think that I would get you this excited." Ben said back to a very much ecstatic Matriarch

"Oh, but you have. Now that I know that the capacity for spellcraft and studies into the esoteric can accomplish such magnificent feats of skill and power. I now have something to aspire towards in my quest to better understand the strength of what I am as a Psyker!… Now, now I can truly unlock the power and potential of what can be done with the Warp." Morganna the Red spoke her mind racing at such ideas in all their endless possibilities

"To think that the power to move stars in the night sky, as though they were childrens playthings; the ability to tear open black holes with but a snap of your fingers, to extinguish suns with but a thought, and create catacylsms of such majesty that civilizations themselves would weep. It..It is almost unreal to think about in its grandeur, and yet that knowledge alone is enough to have my heart race at what can be done!" Morganna the Red further spoke as the thought of pulling off such things made her almost grin with a childlike wonder

"Glad I could help inspire you toward being a super sorceress, I guess. I just wanted to give you a rundown on things from my time." Ben said back in just doing what was requested of him

"Regardless, you have my thanks for enlightening me such ideas. Now I can propel my Legion to aspire toward new heights of knowledge and power, which I had never thought possible." Morganna the Red said soaring into the air briefly out of sheer excitement
"You're welcome." Was Ben's only response

"Still, before I ask a request of you in concerns to this new revelation. I have to ask how else did the people of your time function without the use of the Warp? It seems strange that while you had this mana to substitute it in some aspects. I am still curious to know how you were able to do many of what you had accomplished without it?" Morganna the Red questioned as she floated back down

"We did it the old-fashion way. We just traveled through the galaxy with our ships, like it was anything else in the world. Just high-speed travel, a starship and some co-ordinates and we were ready to go to travel to any planet we needed too. Which is a lot simpler than going through this Warp stuff." Ben answered back in how they did hyperspace travel

"That certainly is much easier than how we navigate through real-space. If we could replicate how the people of your time traveled through the known galaxy. It would make the matters of the Warp far less dangerous for the Psykers of our Legions to deal with, as well as having more resources allocated to the study of it." Morganna the Red spoke seeing that as a major boon if possible

"Well, I'm sure Perturabo and I could rig something together once we get off the planet. A friend of mine did show me how to make hyperdrives, so I'm pretty sure that with some time in the lab and figuring more of what crazy stuff is out there that we could get something done." Ben told the Thousand Sons Matriarch who smiled at the near endless possibility of becoming an even greater sorcerer and mistress of Warpcraft

"Excellent, I will bring this idea of yours to Perturabo once the creatures are dealt with." Morganna the Red said to the Ultimatrix wielder

"Now then, onto my request. I was hoping that once things have settled in our return to Terra, that you could assist me and my Legion in the search for lost arcane lore of the known galaxy? Now that I know the potential for arcana is possible, I can elevate myself and my Legion to greater heights than before." Morganna the Red further spoke

"I wouldn't really mind it. However, I have one condition if we do this." Ben told the massive psyker

"What is your condition?" Was the one-eyed Matriarch's response

"That you don't dive into Necromancy or crazy magic like that, or that if you do that I or someone else is there to help oversee it. My cousin and I have had to deal with sorcerers and magicians who went too deep into that stuff, and paid a really bad price for doing so. The magic of the dead and unlife, isn't something to take lightly…So if you do mess with any of that, please let me know so we can test it in safety." Ben requested of Morganna the Red in not wanting to see her turn into a psychic Lich out of naievty or cause an army of potential zombies to ravage the galaxy

"You have my word that I will seek your aid, if I ever decide to wander into such black magic. I am many things, but I am not so reckless that I would dive into powers that would distort the balance between life and death so foolishly." Morganna the Red promised

"Awesome…Other than that, I think that we should be golden for me to help you out. Since I am all fine for helping people reach their full power. I just want to make sure that its done safely, so we can get anyone out of harms way if things go wrong." Ben told her in wanting to make sure that if this was done that it was done properly

"I understand your concerns, and will take them into account. Nonetheless, I find your timeline to be all the more interesting from how it varies from ours. One where the Warp does not exist is something truly fascinating to know." Morgana the Red spoke finding the notion of such to be truly intriguing

"Well, once we're done fighting these daemons. I'm fine with telling or even showing you more of the stuff Gwen and I used to get into; when we were hunting for magic stuff. It might even give you ideas on how to be a super sorcerer, if your interested." Ben replied as the one-eyed Psyker let an excited smile cross her face

"I would love to do this incredibly once the threat is dealt with." Morganna the Red said back

"Awesome, then let's head back too…." Ben said as he spared a brief glance to his right

"Is something wrong, Ben?" Morganna the Red questioned

"No, No…I just thought I saw something is all. Must be my working nonstop finally getting to me…let's just head back and get some shut-eye. We have a long day ahead of us, for what's coming." Ben answered back waving off what he could assume was a lack of sleep-induced hallucination

'At least I hope that's what it was…I really can't afford to be going crazy; with everything going on.' Ben said to himself as for a moment he could've sworn that he saw that armored giant on a throne of skulls looking at him again this time much more intently

And so with our intrepid heroes preparing for the fight against the Khornite Horde, how shall it fair as both sides soon ready themselves for combat in all its ultraviolence? Well, stay tuned and find out in the all-new installments of, Ultimate Alien: Primarch Force!

Now then onto some of the reviews from the previous chapter.

Kourtney Uzu Yato (Chapter 6): Oh yeah, thanks to Ben and Perturabo; we're going to get even bigger speed demon Jagahtai which should be all sorts of fun to mess with. Also, with Khorne sending Ax'Akhan into play; as you can see they are serious about going to war against Ben and the Matriarchs and putting them through their paces. And as for the Warp fluctuations, you do have to remember that Ben was getting slammed around in the Warp as one of his most powerful transformatons that outputs enough radiation to irradiate entire solar system to borderline Chernobyl levels in a matter of minutes, so combining that with the Warp among one other X-factor is gonna cause some changes. And also, I'm not too happy either about the email glitches coming up again, but it is what it is. Lastly, with Albedo making that offer to Gwen about Devlin being the next Omnitrix bearer, that's gonna be one helluva conversation to be had.

Skull Flame: Oh I know, and that's why if I can figure out a way to fit it into the story I will do it for the sheer amount of lolz that it will piss off Slaanesh, because Loyalist Noise Marines sound like too dope of a concept not to do, and as such want to make it happen even more in the story when I get the chance. I definitely see Sabaton being in Furiosa's playlist, and too be honest I can see Perturabo liking Fear Factory, Ministry, or Rammstein. It took me for a loop to figure out that Sekhmet does have her sabre but yet, she now has an upgraded Power Sword to wield alongside her Talons which should be plenty fun to play around with, and also I'm glad you like my spin with Fulgrim so far and as for how much of her reputation is warranted...let's just say that when she and Ben have some more one on one time to get to know each other better you'll see in full effect. Also, I'm glad you liked the scene with Ben and Konstance, as I figured what better way to keep their bond growing than with superhero T.V shows and such; not to mention it helps Konstance in having actual references to improve how she commits her displays of justice...Lastly, with Kai...the most of I will say is that she is the most lackluster attempt at a love interest for Ben especially when she came back in Omniverse, as I know that Julie wasn't it, but man did Kai show that she had not improved in those past 6 years.

The Disquieting One: Ben's Ultimatrix still retains the genetic repair function and as such is gonna come into play with the Legions down the line. Since the Thousand Sun will benefit from this immensely.

barbosacoutinhogabriel: No for the fact that in order for the Tyranids to happen, it would require a lot for it to work given the circumstances of how they came to be in 40K proper. Even still, I don't think I would given the danger of what could happen if Ben transformed into a Tyranid and him being connected to the horrifying gestalt consciousness that is their Hive Mind.
