(Chapter 16: Getting to know a Legion)

It would be a short period of time after Ben and the Matriarchs had landed upon the Wage of Sin, while for the Matriarchs it was nothing new as they were given their own quarters and freedom to do as they wished around the ship…It was a something to get used to for the Ultimatrix wielder given that with the exception of Plumber stations for when large-scale engagements were to be held; he was seldom having boarded something this massive.

However, in his short time on the Wage of Sin; he was treated rather well given that Fulgrim had made it extremely clear that he was to be treated as an honored guest, and that anyone who went against this order would deal with her personally…But beyond that, Ben had taken to either getting to know some of the Astartes of the 3rd Legion, and seeing what more of the massive ship was actually like much to Ben's absolute fascination of seeing such a massive marvel.

(September 30th, 950. M30, Wage of Sin, 2:10 Pm)

It would be near the end of the month as Ben was currently on his hoverboard flying about the Flagship, as he was exploring the Flagship in seeing what more there was to the Battle Barge.

'Man this place is absolutely massive. I've barely been here, and it still feels like I've barely made even a dent in seeing what everything is like. I swear, what would they have to fight to have to make a starship that's bigger than a city block?' Ben wondered as he continued to surf through the vastness of the Battle Barge

"I swear, if I didn't have a map of this place. I could actually get lost here." Ben remarked to himself before spotting Eidolon and diving down to go speak with the Lord Commander

"...Hello, Tennyson. In fact, you are just the person I have been wanting to talk to actually." Eidolon said to the Ultimatrix wielder "Really? What do you want to talk to me about?" Ben questioned as he landed next to the Lord Commander of the 3rd Legion

"Let's walk and talk shall we, I wish to hear some of your exploits in combat. Lady Fulgrim has informed me of your unusual 'abilities', and your talents in martial combat as well as technology. As such, I would love to hear about some of your exploits in battle if you would not mind." Eidolon answered back

"And your cool with me transforming into…you know? Because, from what Fulgrim and the others have told me, your Imperium isn't exactly the biggest fans regarding aliens." Ben further questioned as he began to walk towards the comparitively massive Astartes

"To be honest with you, Tennyson. What you have done in aiding Lady Fulgrim, especially with fighting alongside her against Daemons of the Warp, and from what I have gathered a greater one at that. In addition, to having saved not just our Matriarch but 11 others from being stranded on a barren rock for who knows how long…I can safely say that our gratitude towards you doing so and delivering her back to us, far outweighs any scruples we would have against your ability to turn into them." Eidolon answered back regarding his feelings on the subject

"What you have done for our Legion, cannot be said enough in regards to our appreciation for it. Therefore, not only on the command of our Matriarch to treat you as an honorary guest of our Legion, but also for having fought with and returned her to us, and safeguarded her from any undo harm. Our being accepting of your abilities to turn into these Xenos forms of yours, is more than fair." Eidolon further spoke in regards to Ben's aliens

"It was no problem at all, to be honest with you. I just helped them out, because they seemed like great people to be around, and i was just really doing it out of the kindness of my heart…Nothing more or less than that." Ben said to the Lord Commander with a shrug of his shoulders

"Nonetheless, it is still appreciated. Not many would do what you have done out of simple kindness, and yet ask for so little in return." Eidolon replied "Hey, from what I know, kindness goes a long way. Besides, I may be 30,000 years into the future, but even still it never hurts to be nice to others. That and I really want to make weapons for you guys, since Fulgrim was pretty good to me while we were on that mystery planet...It is the least I can do for her." Ben said back which had a small smile cross his face

"Something I appreciate, in fact given what I heard you were able to craft for not only Lady Perturabo, but Lady Konstance as well. I would not mind seeing what you have to offer in the way of weapons-craft." Eidolon spoke keen on having someone who could potentially upgrade his weapons to aid in the further perfecting of his martial might

"Sure, I am always happy to talk shop on weapons. Just tell me whatever it is you want and I am more than happy to see what I can get rigged together with a decent set-up." Ben replied to the towering Lord Commander of the 3rd Legion

From there on the two spent the next few hours conversing with one another, with it being a combination of Ben sharing and showing some of his recordings of his past battles and adventures from years past, and some from the Chimera Wars on the Ultimatrix to Eidolon. Wherein he was treated to the sights of Ben not only fighting as enos who wielded power and strength comparable if not exceeding those clad in Terminator armor or even Titans themselves, but also when having fought as a human had displayed physicality and skill that could rival even an Astartes.

Something that was inspiring to see the Ultimatrix wielder fighting against aliens and mutants the size of an Astates Battle-Brother either with a Gravity Hammer of his own or with his bare-hands, and managing a victory all his own. In addition, to this as he shared stories of his own after having witnessed one of the recording of Ben in his teenage years fighting tooth-and-nail against a Highbreed to the bitter end to allow the escape of captured humans being made into DNAlien soldiers for the Highbreed; did the two soon shift topics to weapons-craft.

Something that Ben was all too happy to dive into, given that EIdolon was rather intrigued by the potential of Ben's upgrades from being able to summon lightning stron enough to shatter void-shield generators, being able to absorb kinetic energy and redirect unto his enemies or even having it transform into other ranged weaponry such as a Melta-Gun or Bolt-rifle. Among other such ideas, ones that included some that he had drafted as potential improvements to Lady Fulgrim's own armor that in the Lord Commander's opinion rivaled what the Tech-Priests of Mars could create had him very much considering such things.

"I will admit, Tennyson. You are certainly exceptional, I still find it both hard to believe and incredible to know that you have been fighting against Xenos and other deplorable threats from 10 years of age until now." Eidolon spoke in a measure of respect for what Ben was able to accomplish victory against at such a young age "Hey, someone had to do it. Besides, my alien forms or not; I still would've tried to step up and be a hero. Someone has to get their hands dirty and fight against stuff that's going to invade your home and hurt innocent people…Having the Omnitrix and later this was just a added bonus." Ben said tapping the Ultimatrix gauntlet

"Everything considered, in tandem with your talents both in combat, weapons-craft, and others that I have yet to bear witness to. I will say that it will be interesting to work with you." The Lord Commander of the 3rd Legion spoke rather interested in working alongside the Ultimatrix wielder

"Thanks, and if you ever want a spar or for me to make you something. Just say the word and we can get it done in no time…I actually want to see what you Astartes guys can do in a fight, so whenever your ready bring it." Ben told Eidolon who had a genuine smile of excitement

"After things are finished on Holy Terra, I will be sure to take you up on that offer. I wish to see the strength of you're Xenos transformations in a duel…If they are as strong as Lady Fulgrim and the others speak of, then I would be hard-pressed to not challenge myself against something that astoundingly powerful." Eidolon spoke eager to test his martial might against the abilities of these Xenos forms

"Hey, that sounds great to me. However, I should warn you that things can get a little crazy, Mr. Eidolon. So just be aware that if we go full force in a duel….then oh boy are you gonna be in for a wild ride. Just a fair word of warning that you may get put through a wall or two." Ben promised with a bit of light-heartedness in his voice while the Lord Commander of the 3rd's excitement only grew at the prospect of a challenging duel

"If you are trying to dissuade from me dueling you in the near future, then you are doing an abysmal job of it…Mark my words, Tennyson. I will see just how capable you are as a warrior, after all; I was not made Lord Commander of the 3rd for nothing." Eidolon said back with pride in his skills both martially and his working his way towards the position

"Not at all, man. I'm just giving you a fair warning. So when and if we do have that duel you want, then may the best man win." Ben spoke with a grin to match as the spark of competition was now lit between the two

"And that man will be me. You may have gotten this far, and I will admit to your exceptional skill in martial combat, but I will show you firsthand why I am by far none one of our best duelists." Eidolon replied "Alright, and keep that same energy, because your going to need it. But until then, let's talk shop on possible ideas for a new set of armor for you…How do you feel about having the ability to blast people with sonic weapons?" Ben said as a look of interest sparked at the token idea

"You have my attention, the addition of sound-based weaponry to my arsenal intrigues me.." Eidolon replied interested in the incorporation of sonic weaponry into his wargear

(The next day, Wage of Sin, ?, 2:00 Pm, October 1st, 950. M30)

It would be the following day later, as Ben was working on drafting up blueprints for a Megazord with Perturabo before he was called to Fulgrim's personal chambers, which Ben obliged in never minding the company of the Phoenician.

"There you are, it is so good of you to join me! There is quite a bit to talk about." Fulgrim said ever delighted to see the Ultimatrix bearer

"Not a problem at all, although I do wish you would've told me what was so important; that you had to have me come to your personal room…Now that I'm complaining of course." Ben replied as he looked over the Matriarch who had taken the time to change into one of her form-fitting outfits

"Unfortunately, I did not call you here for more 'exciting' activities. Instead, I wanted to tell you that my sister will soon be boarding the vessel to meet with you, and some of the others." Fulgrim said back

"Isn't that a good thing, Fulgrim?...Wait, which one is it that wants to meet me? Because, out of all of the sisters I haven't met, I know from Sekhmet that some of them are a bit...much" Ben questioned in still finding it a trip to keep up with Fulgrim having 17 other sisters

"Luckily it is Sanguinius that you will be meeting with. However, despite her kindness she is nothing to be taken lightly…Given that she will be coming alongside her personal guard, it will certainly be a spectacle if nothing else." Fulgrim answered back glad that it wasn't the Gorgon or Freya otherwise it would have been a headache to say the least to deal with

"Let me guess, she doesn't know about my transformations or the Chaos Gods?" Ben guessed

"...Correct, as it wasn't something that could be easily explained. Granted my charms can sway almost anyone to my side, as one of the most flawless of my father's children. However, the unique situation of what you are and how you have accomplished helping us is something more difficult to put into so many words. So my utmost apologies for this inconvenience, truly this is a disappointing mark against my greatness." Fulgrim told Ben with a level of dramatic flair that had him grinning from her theatrics

'If there's one thing I won't get tired of, its her being so over-the-top.' Ben said to himself with an internal snicker

"Hey, you are totally fine, Fulgrim. Besides, it shouldn't be too hard to get her onboard. You are one of the most charming women I've met and one of the prettiest." Was Ben's response much to the delight of the Phoenician

"Flattery will get you everywhere, you handsome devil you." Was the statuesque womans' response

"But that aside, Sanguinius out of those you have yet to meet will be the easiest to convince. That is one of the saving graces of having the 'Great' Angel coming to see my sisters, myself alongside you." Fulgrim further spoke glad that it wasn't someone such as The Gorgon or Freya to an extent

"That's great to know, by the way, will I have to worry about Furiosa or Konstance when I meet her? Because I was going to see if either one of them would tag along when I have to meet Sanguinius, just in case something happens." Ben asked the silver-haired Matriarch

"Between the two of them, Furiosa is the one you would have to worry the least about…Konstance and Sanguinius…to say that Konstance does not like her would be an understatement." Fulgrim answered back regarding which of the two would be the best pick

"Is there something I should know between the two of them?" Ben questioned in noticing the sour look on the Phoenician's face regarding the leaders of the 8th and 9th Legions

"That is a bit of a complicated matter, but the best way I could put it without getting into messy details. Is that Konstance more than anything hates Sanguinius, whereas Sanguinius has lived regarded as the Imperium's favorite daughter and recieved nothing but countless adoration and praise as the Great Angel! By contrast, Konstance has really only known the nightmare of being the Imperium's monster, it is rather difficult to be a hero and bring justice to all when you are forced time and time again to bring terror and horrors unbound to those deserving and not." Fulgrim spoke in a more somber manner regarding her sister

"So its jealousy then?" Ben asked in semi-confusion

"Yes and no, the animosity that runs between them goes deeper than simple jealousy. It is a envy and rage that has soured their relationship into something poisonous…Honestly, it is nothing short of a miracle that she hasn't tried to maul her to bloody ribbons. Then again the nicest thing she's said towards her, is that her wings would look lovely being ripped out and mounted on the mantle of her flagship." Fulgrim answered back

With the bitterness between the Great Angel and the Night Haunter being such that even when having to meet before the Emperor, that there was an unspoken tension always rife and ready to break out into a frenzied brawl between the sisters. So much so was the envious grudge that Konstance held towards Sanguinius that it bled over into their Legions having a very intense dislike of each other, so much so that rumors abound were of it being only a matter of if and not when the Night Lords and the Blood Angels would come to blows against the other.

"I…I did not think Konstance had that much of a hate boner for any of you guys. I know she and Branwen are a bit iffy towards each other, but that seems to be getting a bit better." Ben spoke actually shocked that Konstance was that spiteful

"That is the oddity of my sister. While she has a great capacity for love, and has improved in her mental stability thanks to you. However, despite this kindness and the better side of her you have seen these past few months. Konstance Kurze has an equal if not greater capacity for cruelty, and the unflinching brutality she unleashes onto others is nothing if not something ripped from the horrors of a uncaring god. That is why I tell you this, not to turn you away from Konstance, for you are one of the greatest things to have happened to her and I thank you for showing her a kindness many have denied her. But I do so, so that you know that despite what she does that there is still a good woman in there; it is simply the nature of what she is that compels and drives her to unleash terror unto her enemies." Fulgrim told the Ultimatrix wielder regarding the nature of Konstance Kurze

"And I am willing to be there for her regardless. She's a sweet lady even if she can be scary sometimes, so it doesn't matter how crazy brutal she gets. I will stick with her through the good, the bad, and the ugly…she deserves that much." Was Ben's response regarding the Night Haunter "What will you do when the tensions between her and Sanguinius become to much, and they come to blows? What will you do then?" The Phoenician questioned

"Then I will do whatever I can to prevent as much crap from happening. I may not know the full story of why they hate each other, but I do know is that I care about Konstance a whole lot, and that I don't want to see her get hurt. So if I can stop them from killing each other then that's great, if not then I will do everything I can to protect Konstance plain and simple." Ben answered back with utmost resolve and swiftness in his answer

"That is a wonderful answer that I am glad to hear from you. Even in the coming of and the soon aftermath of Sanguinius's arrival, I am happy to know that Konstance is in trusted hands." Fulgrim spoke

"Hey, I think she's has a really kind heart, and that all she really needs is someone to be there to support her through the good. the bad, and the incredibly ugly." Was Ben's honest response regarding his relationship with The Night Haunter

"Anywho, is there anything else you want to talk to me about?" Ben questioned the Matriarch of the 3rd Legion

"At the current moment, no. However, if you ever wish to spend any time with me on our way to Holy Terra. Then I am but a call away from you, we do have more than a fair share of time to do whatever you wish…If you like, I could design a new wardrobe for you?" Fulgrim answered back

"Wait, you actually would make me a new wardrobe?...That's actually really nice of you to offer to do that for me." Ben asked a now excited Fulgrim

"Of course I would, if anything I would be delighted to make you a new wardrobe. Tell me do you have any suggestions, on what you wish to be made?" Fulgrim replied now ecstatic in being able to design a new attire for a potential consort "As long as it is comfortable and looks good, then go absolutely wild Fulgrim. I trust you to make what I wear from here on out look fantastic, if I'm going to be with all of you in the 31st millennium. Then I think it is a pre-requisite that it looks amazing." Ben said back as a wide smile of excitement in engulfed her features

"That is wonderful to hear, absolutely splendid! Ooohhh, I cannot wait to get started, I hope you won't mind but I will need to take your measurements at some point to get everything down to its finest details. But I can and will assure you that everything will look perfect!" Fulgrim spoke with a level of passion and excitement that Ben had not seen to the point where he almost swore she was vibrating off of pure joy

"All of that sounds great, Fulgrim, and thanks for sticking with me. I really do appreciate it." Ben thanked the Phoenician

"Oh but of course! It would have been a shame if I denied someone of their ability to be greater. Besides, you are splendid company as a welcome addition." Fulgrim spoke with an ever excited grin still present

"And if you want, we can start my measurements right now if you want…" Ben said as before he fully finished his sentence Fulgrim dashed off and then reappeared in a show of speed that was unreal with arms full of tools and sewing equipment

"Now then, I will need you to hold still for a few moments. I want to get everything just right." Fulgrim replied as returned with an assortment of sewing and measuring tools

'I'm sure this won't take too long.' Was Ben's thoughts as an excited Matriarch went to work at frightening speeds

(2 days later, October 3rd, 950. M30, Wage of Sin, ? 1:45 Pm)

It would be a few more days of passing as Ben was currently with the 1st Captain of the Emperor's Children alongside Eidolon, who had taken quite a liking to the Ultimatrix wielder as the Astartes was currently doing a jam session with Ben to I Will Not Bow by Breaking Benjamin.

"I will say, the music of your era is certainly inspiring." Julius said after fnishing the closing instrumental alongside those around him

"I told you guys that music from the 21st century; isn't anything to turn your nose up at. We might not have tech like you guys, but we still knew how to put out some killer stuff of our own." Ben said back

"Indeed, and to think that we have missed out on wonderful music like this. Honestly, it's a damn shame if you ask me." Eidolon spoke as he began tuning his bass guitar

"Speaking of music; that is inspirational. Do you think we could have some of these songs be fitted into a calls to arms; to inspire the others in the Legions and bring our enemies to their knees? Honestly, there's something here in the songs that Tennyson has shown us that might take our Legion to the next level." Eidolon further asked, while an enjoyer of the arts like his brothers was always one to remain focused on the tactical martial aspects of said arts

"It is possible, although that is both Ben's decision on the matter. Not to mention, the how on such a thing while it can work is and will take some time to implement onto the field…The power of music is an incredible thing to behold, yes. But taking it and turning it into something that can change the course of battles is another." Julius answered back knowing that turning music into a weapon was going to be quite the arduous task

"Hey, if it can be done, then I'm all for helping you guys out with weaponizing music. Plus, it would be a fun side-project in addition to everything else I have going on. After what happened on that planet I was with Fulgrim and the others on…I could use something to eat up my free time." Ben spoke

"That brings up something else I have wanted to ask you, Tennyson. What exactly did you see on that planet that you and the Matriarchs were stranded on for nearly 6 months?" Eidolon questioned the Ultimatrix bearer who let out a sigh of mental exhaustion "I can't say too much, as that belongs to Fulgrim to tell you guys about it; since she's you're leader and all. But the only thing I can say about what we fought back there, was that I will both never forget it and that things for you guys have just become incredibly more fucked." Was Ben's response as the haunted expression of a man who has seen to much briefly overshadowed his features "Was it truly that bad, Tennyson?" The Lord Commander of the 3rd Legion further questioned

"...The best way I can put it is that you guys are gonna need a lot, and I mean a LOT more heavy-duty firepower for what's out there. Because, whatever I saw is a new level of meance if I've ever seen it." Ben answered his mind still burning from his meeting with Khorne

Even after nearly 2 months from his chance 'encounter' with the wrathful Chaos God, did Ben not forget much less have a peaceful nights' rest, given that with the knowledge of not 1 but 4 powerhouse eldritch horrors of nigh cosmic proportions in this strange new universe/timeline. Suffice to say, Ben knew that he was going to have his hands full after they reached Terra given that from hereon out; he was going to have to think of something in order to destroy the Ruinous Powers or at best seal them off from the material world permanently.

"By the Emperor, if it truly is that bad. Then we are going to have our hands full for what is to come...as if we did not already have to worry about the Great Crusade…There goes my plans for working on my symphony for the next 2 years." Was the 1st Captain's sullen response

"Come now, Julius. I am sure you will have plenty of time to finishing working on your symphonies in the future. Not to menton, that your symphonies may actually have more of a kick to them with Tennyson's assistance." Eidolon said back much to the dismay of Julius

"Do you really think so poorly of my compositions, Eidolon?" Julius asked

"No, it is just that they lack a certain punch to them that makes one inspired to take action. Don't get me wrong, they are entertaining and no doubt lacking in bombast. However, they lack a sort of oomph to them that makes someone want to rise to their feet and do something incredible." Eidolon answered from his viewpoint as a consummate man of action "

As such, I think that perhaps you and Tennyson could put your minds together and marry both your tastes in music together. Between your impeccable mastery of composing music and a conesueier of the arts, and Ben's flair for having music that makes your heart race and your blood pump with the desire to fight and destroy your enemies...Why I have no doubt in my mind, that together some of the greatest hymns of war and battle will be composed." Eidolon further spoke getting the 1st Captain's attention to shift to the Ultimatrix bearer

"Would you be interested in such a collaboration? The idea is certainly one that would prove the pinnacle of fine arts in all its glory." Julius asked of the Ultiamtrix bearer

"I don't see why we couldn't do that. Plus, making a rock opera with someone has been on my bucket list for years now. So just tell me when you want to set it up, and we can get started as soon as possible." Ben told the Astartes who could not help but smile at the thought

"Excellent, hopefully after things have resolved on Holy Terra; we can begin immediately…Now then, are there any other songs that you have in mind to play alongside us?" Julius questioned

"I have one in mind that will be absolutely awesome to play once we nail it. This is one of my favorite songs to play on drums and I'm pretty sure you guys are gonna love it!" Ben answered back with a large grin

"What is this particular song called?" Eidolon asked

"It is called One by Metallica, and it one of the greatest pieces of rock music to ever be made! So I hope you guys are ready to learn how to play an epic, because man does this rip!" Ben told the Astartes who had a very much intrigued look on their faces at learning such a song

(6 hours later, Fulgrim's Quarters, Wage of Sin, ?, 8:00 Pm)

Meanwhile, Fulgrim was in contact with Sanguinius who while glad to hear from her sister; was also more and more interested to meet this Ben Tennyson figure the more she heard Fulgrim talk/gush over him.

"I still can't believe that one human managed to free Furiosa of the Butcher's Nails, managed to charm Konstance, gain both Perturabo and Morganna's interests which is by no means any small feat. Then last but certainly not least impress your obscenely high standards…Are we sure that this he is completely human?" Sanguinius listed off jokingly in regards to the Ultimatrix wielder who had wormed his way into the lives of the Matriarchs

"Believe me, he is one of a kind to say the very least Sanguinius. The things he is capable of, and what he has managed to do in such a short period of time is nothing short of remarkable. In fact, he has already started to make quite the stellar impression on Lorna….Almost every time I see that delightful man with her, Lorna is in a world of her own. You should see the way she lights up around him, it is almost adorable to witness." Fulgrim replied with a smile

"From the way that you talk of him, I wouldn't be surprised if you were smitten with him." Was the leader of the 9th Legion's response

"I wouldn't say that I am smitten with him, just fascinated by what he is and what he is capable of. If anything he is a shining example of what humanity can become once the Great Crusade is over. Someone of incredible talent, boundless potential, and impeccable taste in the arts…I wouldn't be lying if I were to say that we have found ourselves a modern-day renaissance man." Fulgrim spoke regarding the Ultimatrix wielder who managed to make her heart swell in excitement when they were together

"Honestly, having him as part of the Crusade will make things far, far more interesting. Not to mention give everything a much needed jolt in the right direction…don't get me wrong, Sanguinius, I love showing others the greatness of the Imperium and its wonders. Yet I won't lie when I say that with his help things will certainly feel much more lively and exciting than they have in recent memory." Fulgrim added

"Then I will certainly be expecting great things from him once I meet him. Especially, if he has managed to work the borderline impossibility of what he has done with Furiosa…I honestly never thought that I would see the day when she wouldn't live her every moment; furious at every living thing that moved." Sanguinius spoke still finding the information unreal to hear about the Countess of the Red Sands no longer being forced into artificial rages of unbound fury

"So did I and the others, and yet once we saw her again. She was far, far more calm than any of us have seen of her barring when she sleeps. I would daresay she's almost gentle to an extent to be around. But given that this is still our juggernaut of a sister we are talking about who could throw Thunderhawks as though they weighed little more than a grape, and a fierce temper to match…I would say that it is an astounding improvement too say the least." Fulgrim remarked over Furiosa being less….ferocious in the weeks since her Butcher's Nails were removed

"Perhaps, with her not being in such a horrid state all of the time. I could finally introduce her to the fine arts, I am sure there is something we could find that she would take to...What that may be, is a different story altogether." Fulgrim added in hopes of finding something that Furiosa could involve herself into beyond the martial arts

"That is wonderful news, at least I won't have to worry about her charging me down as though she were one of the many beasts on Baal." Sanguinius said in relief of not having to worry about the wrathful Matriarch

"That being said, I would avoid Konstance nonetheless…Whle she has behaved herself thanks to Ben's influence and company, I would rather not risk her coming for you. The last thing we need is for Konstance to go headhunting again, you and I both remember the Zenthon incident." Fulgrim replied as the Great Angel shivered in vivid memory of said incident

"Sometimes I forget that Konstance takes obtaining her sweets very seriously. How I was supposed to know that she would flay an entire bakery alive, turn over a dozen of my sons into a bloody pulp, and try to break my wings because I wouldn't give her her pies." Sanguinius said back still having nightmares over said incident due to how brutally swift she was

"I did try to warn you that Konstance and her sweet tooth is the one thing you do not interfere with. Even Freya for all of her bravado does not try to deny Konstance of her love for such things….Hopefully, with Ben around we can avoid such incidents in the future, but even still I am hopeful to never have such a thing be repeated." Fulgrim said glad that she was able to calm down Konstance from inciting a miniature war between her legion and the 9th

"As am I, Fulgrim. I still have phantom pains from that week." Sanguinius said back "Nonetheless, tell me have you been dong ok in the time during our departure? It is incredibly rare that The Great Angel looks…frazzled for a lack of a better term." Fulgrim spoke in seeing Sanguinius look a bit worse for wear

"To be fair, yours and the others sudden disappearance wasn't easy. Your 1st Captains and the other Legons had to pick up the slack where it was needed after what happened nearly 6 months ago." Sanguinius replied somberly "Not even Malcador for all of his strength or Morganna's best men could find you through the Warp. Nor could even our father's golden guards gain any measure of a reading on where you were stranded. In all honesty, had it not been for that transmission ade to Eidolon who informed me of your whereabouts and the location of where to meet you. Then we would've continued searching without any leads for who knows how long…as such you can imagine the strain that supporting 12 Legions without a Primarch and their chapters can bring. Even with the support of Minerva and Freya when they were available." Sanguinius further spoke

As it also didn't help that in managing the Red Thirst that continued to plague her sons, her increasingly life-like visions, and her strength as a Psyker gowing to the point where she was manifesting further powers of her own among various other changes…Suffice to say that, even for all of the levity and joviality that Sanginius presented as a kindhearted and literal angel of a woman; that the last few months were not kind between sleepless nights, the reddening of her wings alongside the pressures of leading her Legion these past few months was nothing if not immense.

"If it is any consolation to you, I am so sorry for having left you in such a state. I have already begun making my way through apologizing to my sons, for leaving them without even so much as a single farewell…If I could do anything to ease the burden you have taken upon yourself, and the kindness of standing alongside my sons in my absence, all that is needed is for you to say the word, and I will do everything necessary to make amends." Fulgrim said in heartfelt apology for having burdened one of her beloved sisters

"Perhaps, when all is said and done upon our return to Terra. You could join me for a painting session, I do miss our times where we would make wonderful art pieces together. Sanguinius requested from the Phoenician who gave a broad smile in return

"I would be honored to do so, Sanguinius. In fact, these past few months have actually delivered a new muse that has been burning to create once more! So all that is needed is to gather my painting implements and a few canvases, and we will make paintings that will make the artists of old weep in envy!...Ohhh, and afterwards I can treat you to a spa day on a Paradise world as well, with how much you have gone through you are in need of something to take the edge off!" Fulgrim said as she began to plan out a day for her and her angelic sister

'If there is one thing I can count on, it is for Fulgrim to plan the perfect day out.' Sanguinius spoke in regards to her sisters ability to do just that "Apologies, if I get carried away. It is just that after everything we have experienced. Half of which the likes will sound ripped from the pages of one of Morganna's tomes, but nonetheless can and will assure you is beyond the pale of astonishing. Even now, I still find it hard to believe at what we have not only witnessed but become the bearers of in terms of this horrid information." Fulgrim replied in equal amounts disgust and repugnance over the existence of the Ruinous Powers

"You are quite fine…in all fairness. If I had witnessed a fraction of what you have, then I am sure that I would find myself rambling as well." Sanguinius said back

"How dare…I do not ramble! Who do you take me for, that dullard Rogal, or the cyclops?!" Fulgrim questioned faux incensed by the insinuation

"I was just kidding, always so easy to fluster as well as flatter. Even after nearly 6 months apart you still are my lovely little phoenix." Sanguinius replied with a small chortle

"Oh how I've missed your jokes…far better than the smell of that poison Freya drinks by the gallon. How she can consume that nightmare she calls mead without one of her kidneys shutting down, I will never know." Fulgrim spoke in dislike of the Wolf Queen of Fenris

"Your guess is as good as mine. At this point, with how much she drinks I would not be surprised if her blood is 60% alcohol." Sanguinius replied knowing that with how much booze she consumed that it was somewhere within that region "And it is one of the few places where I wish NOT to take Ben, once we are finished conducting business on Terra. The last thing I need is for him to go through quintuple liver, kidney and stomach failure after a night of being around those barbarians." Fulgrim said back knowing that the Space Wolves were 'party animals' to say the very least

"That would be a good idea. While I love Freya to death and respect her for her skill as a warrior. Even I know that she and her wolves are 'intense' when it comes to their feasts and celebrations." Sanguinius spoke knowing that if you were a human at a feast/celebraton with a Space Wolf then you had to be made of something tougher than ceramite to survive "I am glad we could agree on that. Nonetheless, it is so good to catch up and talk with you Sanguinus. I will look forward to seeing you in person within a few days." Fulgrim replied happy to talk with the Gret Angel once more

"You as well Fulgrim, I will see you soon enough." Sanguinius spoke as she ended the holo-call 'Hmmm, that went better than expected…Now then, what to paint my nails when Sanguinius comes to visit, not to mention what to do with my hair as wel. Decisions, decisions, decisions….perhaps Sekhmet would have some advice.' Fulgrim said to herself as she went off to find Sekhmet

"At least things have calmed down during our trip to Terra, however, I could do without the new additions that have begun to appear." Sanguinius spoke as she once more had to file down her nails that had begun to grow into blood-red talons

"Now all I have to do is make sure that I have enough to drink before I have the meeting with this Ben Tennyson, and I should be fine. Otherwise, I risk having another episode and that is the last thing I need. At least until my apothecaries can figure out what is happening too me, and why I going through these changes that keep getting stronger by the day." Sanguinius further spoke as she looked at her room which was still going repairs after the last time her Red Thirst spiraled out of control it the claw marks, punctures from her fists shredding the metal walls and dried crimson ichor were any indicators

And so with Ben beginning to endear himself to those within the 3rd Legion, we also see that Sanguinius is soon to arrive and meet with the Ultimatrix bearer in regards to his joining the fold as part of the Great Crusade. Therefore, what will transpire with The Great Angel soon meeting the shapeshifting hero from another time? Well, stay tuned and find out in the all new chapters of, Ultimate Alien: Primarch Force!

Chronolocked: Regarding that, there is one way that Ben will be able to help out everyone and keep his promises, its just going to involve him and the Emperor working something out to make it happen...how that goes I'm keeping a secret. As for Ben's aging problem, all I can say is that Ben's Anodite Spark may have woken up to not neccessarily grant him magic but it being in contact with the raw warp when he fell through did jumpstart something in him to help solve it is all I'll say.

Skull Flame: Yup both of them got introduced to one of the greatest anime ever and all I can say is that when they get to Marineford, they will probably lose their shit at the epic stuff that Whitebeard goes through, not to mention that Branwen and or Furiosa will seethe like crazy when they see that Blackbeard did the dirtiest of double-crosses yet. Not to mention once they hit the New World saga and they get to Dressrosa and see all the fuckery that Doffy has done to the place...Branwen just might pop a blood vessel from seeing what he's done. And I'm glad you liked that moment between Ben and Mortarion since as far as Mortarion is concerned she needs to step things up in regards to her armor, and suffice it to say we're gonna eventually see a more heavy-duty Mortarion rocking around in potentially going up to Terminator armor. Also, Perturabo and the Iron Warriors incorporating subterraean warfare into their siege tactics just seem too funny not to bring up, because I think that that would make Dorn go nuts trying to fortify the ground when she sees Iron Warriors just constantly popping up from out of every angle.

Kourtney Uzu Yato: Glad you like what's going on with Ben and Konstance, since as far as Ben is concerned from his perspective of her so far; she's basically the equivalent of a giant puppy...granted a giant puppy that can turn into a horror movie villain on steroids that's almost 10 feet tall. Also, its gonna be funny with Ben and Malcador shenanigans that come up down the line, as oh boy is it gonna be funny to have him deal with Ben's antics. Its gonna be funny to see them react to the New World arc, and I will say that them watching something like Fullmetal Alchemist and Hunter X Hunter would have them going crazy over it. Also, with Ben not pushing himself sick, there's a reason why Gwen is so important in Ben's life given that she's the main reason why Ben didn't fall apart so much durng his adult life, as someone has to make sure that Ben doesn't overwork himself into a coma, because if Gwen wasn't there to make sure Ben would actually sleep well and take breaks then he would've been a workaholic and a half.

ex555: Oh no, I am not doing that regarding Freya/Fem. Leman in this story, as that's too weird to have happen in my opinion. Also, Ben making a new Volkite rifle pattern is something I've been thinking about for the longest, its just how I'm going to make that happen and who gets it first is one of the things I'm still working on.
