This is my first official story any feedback would be appreciated.
This is taking place sometime after the Lullaby arc.
The Dragon
"Ugg I need rent money." Lucy pouts as she lays her head on the bar.
"Why, didn't you just go on a job?" Cana asks, confused.
"Yeah but Natsu destroyed a few of the town's buildings so the majority of the reward went to repairs." Lucy explains.
"Well that's Natsu for ya." Cana then starts drinking her third barrel of booze causing Lucy to sweat drop. Mirajane then walks over to the two wizards.
"If you need a job, how about this one here?" Mira then hands a poster to Lucy, she then begins to read it over.

Please find my cat mittens
She went missing in the town square.
Reward: 1,000 Jewels

"Alright, a thousand jewels for finding a cat. I'll take it, thanks Mira." Lucy says.
"Alright good luck Lucy." Mira smiles as Lucy then leaves the guild in search of the missing cat.
…
"Mittens, where are you please come out kitty! I wanna go home, I'm tired." Lucy calls out, just then a black cat with white paws is seen cowering behind a trash can in the alleyway.
"That must be the cat!" Lucy thought as she looked at the cat.
"Mittens come here I'm not gonna hurt you." Lucy calls out to the cat but before she knows it the cat starts running off into a nearby crowd of people.
"Excuse me, coming through, please move." Lucy says as she maneuvers through the crowd.
"Dang it, I lost the cat. Now what am I gonna do?" Lucy sighs. Just as she was going to give up after looking for half a day a half naked Grey walks up to her.
"Hey Lucy why so down?"
"Oh hey Grey I took a job finding a cat and I found it but then I lost it." Lucy explains, Grey tilts his head to look around.
"Do you mean that cat?" Grey then points to the cat that Lucy was just chasing.
"That's it!" Lucy then runs towards the cat and startles it making it run off again.
"What do you think you're doing!" Grey yells, causing Lucy to look at him in confusion.
"Trying to catch the cat obviously. Hey, put your clothes back on." Lucy states, causing Grey to questioning how his clothes came off. Lucy sighs then asks, "Did I do something wrong when I approached the cat?" Grey puts his clothes back on quickly.
"Well sort of, have you ever had a pet before?" Grey questioned. "No why?"
"Well animals don't like it when you run up on them especially if they're scared. They will either flee like the cat did or attack you." Grey points out.
"Really, I didn't know that. Thanks Grey but how should I capture the cat if I can't get close to it?" Lucy asks, Grey ponders for a moment. "Try food, I mean it works with Happy."
"Why didn't I think of that, I'll try it right away." Lucy then leaves Grey by himself to get some milk and a dish from her house. She finds the cat once more but discovers it being held by a young teen with short blonde hair with black tips at the end wearing a black cap covering their face, a black tank top, no shoes and brown shorts.
"Oh hello there, my name is Lucy and I've actually been looking for that cat. Can I please have the kitty?" Lucy asks the teen, but the teen just stares at Lucy then turns around and starts walking away from her with the cat.
"Did I just get ignored?" Lucy said to herself before catching up to the teen holding the cat.
"Hey listen I know you like the pretty kitty but the kitty is very important to me. Can you please hand over the cat?" The teen keeps walking down the street ignoring Lucy.
"How about this if you give me this kitty I'll give you a better kitty, one that even talks." This has the teen stop walking for a moment and Lucy was about to celebrate before she heard Master Makarov yelling something causing the teen to run away.
"Hey come back here give me my money, I mean the cat!" Lucy yelled and the guild Master then walks up beside her out of breath. "Are you ok Master?" Lucy asks.
"I'll… be fine… have you seen a blonde haired teen around here Lucy?" Master Makarov asks, catching his breath. "I don't know if they were a boy or not but if you mean that teen who took what was going to be my rent money then yes." Lucy replied.
"Where did he go? You must tell me now before it's too late!" Makarov states with worry, Lucy then points in the direction the teen ran.
"I swear I'm too old to be playing hide and seek with this Lizard." The master states as he wanders in the direction Lucy pointed to. "What was that about?" Lucy thought.

Lucy opens the door to the guild and walks to the bar and sits down with a sigh. "What's wrong Lucy? Did you manage to find the cat?" Mira asks.
"Yes I did, but only for someone else to steal it away from me. Now what am I going to do?" Lucy sighs, just then Master Makarov walks in with the teen Lucy ran into earlier still holding the cat.
"Welcome back Master and Mr. Trouble maker." Mira says to the pair in the doorway.
"Hey you're that teen who took the cat for my job!" Lucy calls out.
"See what you did now, go give the cat to Lucy." Makarov says to the teen but he growls at the master.
"ALEC!" The teen clicked his tongue in frustration, he then makes their way to Lucy. Alec then hands the cat over to Lucy then sits at a nearby table.
"Umm Master, don't you think you were a bit harsh on him." Lucy questions.
"Don't let Alec's appearance fool you Lucy. He may look like a teenager compared to everyone here but he's actually a lot older than all of us. In fact he was one of the founders of this guild regrettably." Makarov states as he hopped onto the bar counter and sat down.
"WHAT! That's not possible though, how can someone be that old and look so young?" Lucy questions.
"What the Master said is true Lucy. Alec is indeed one of the founders of Fairy Tail, infact Alec isn't even a human at all, he's a dragon. Here's your usual drink Master." Mira states handing Makarov his booze, Lucy is shocked by Mira's statement for a second she forgot to breathe.
"I've heard of other intelligent species in the world but I thought dragons were extinct." Lucy said trying to absorb the new knowledge.
"No they aren't extinct as you can see, but they are very few in number so being able to see one is extremely rare. In fact the magic council doesn't even know of his existence. I'd like to keep it that way too so don't mention to anyone of his existence of being a dragon Lucy got it." Master Makarov states, Lucy nods.
"But Master, how has he been able to hide his own existence all this time?" Lucy comments, Makarov sighs before looking at Lucy.
"From what the previous Master told me because SOMEBODY REFUSED TO TALK, he changes his name and appearance to a certain degree." The Master states glaring daggers at Alec.
"All I do is change the color of this form's hair, that's it. Yet for some reason you humans think I'm a different person each time I do it. Even you Makarov and don't you deny it cause you know it's true." Alec says with his back turned
"Why you..!" Makarov's face began to turn red with rage, Alec then turns around and says, "Cool it kid or you're gonna blow a gasket and I don't want to take over this guild nor do I want that baby you call a grandson of yours to take it over either with his personality now. It would be disrespectful to Mavis's wish for this guild." The Master begins to calm down upon hearing Alec's words about the founding Master.
"Fine you win this time Alec but at least do the paperwork for today please."
"Let me guess Natsu…" Makarov instantly started gulping his drink down to avoid answering Alec.
"Fine I'll do it I guess but seriously you and Precht always have me do your job." Alec states as he begins to walk away from the group and upstairs to the Master's office to do paperwork.
"So... Alec is a dragon, Fairy tail has a dragon as a member and founder. Umm by any chance I know this might be rude but do you know how old he is?" Lucy asks the Master, he puts his drink down and shrugs. "I don't know how old that Lizard is but apparently Igneel saved his life at some point so the bastard has a soft spot for Natsu. Plus when Natsu joined the guild he kept bugging Alec about where Igneel was and the closest we got to age was him saying he hasn't seen him in 400 or so years."
Lucy is in shock upon hearing such a big number despite Alec's appearance. "How in the hell is that possible? I mean sure dragons live along time I guess but that doesn't explain his young appearance."
"It might have something to do with his magic." Cana replies looking all smug. "How do you figure that." The master questions.
"You know his Magic he must do more than change his hair with his Magic he must also change his appearance too. After all I've caught him disguised as a child just to get free candy from the sweet shop during there grand opening several times that day."
"You know Cana I've caught him doing that before too but changing his appearance into a senior citizen to get a discount off of food or clothes." Mira adds.
"That Lizard how dare he do that to this wonderful town. I'm going have him do all of the paperwork tonight! That should teach him a lesson." Makarov declares, meanwhile upstairs Alec isn't reading a single document and is just signing every paper in the Master's name with a devilish expression on his face.
