Old Friends, New Enemies:

As everyone is waiting for the moon to rise Natsu starts snoring and Lucy is curled up in a ball asleep. Grey is sitting on a rock thinking of the past while Alec is looking at the frozen Deliora thinking.

"I wonder if I could, maybe… no it's impossible… but there's a 10% chance it might work… but I don't know how far gone its life force is. I can't take that chance… But these humans seem to be trying to break Deliora out anyway… Gah! Why must this be so conflicting!" Alec scratches his head in frustration.

The room begins to shake and everyone becomes alert. "What's going on?" Grey questions, "Why's the room shaking." Lucy adds groggily waking up. "Is it night yet!" Natsu yells while waking up.

All of a sudden a purple magic circle can be seen on the ceiling right above Deliora, it then illuminates it in a purple concentrated light. "What is that?" Lucy questions.

"That's Moon Drip but it seems whoever is casting this is coming from up top." Alec states.

"Then what are we doing down here let's go stop them!" Natsu shouts already at the otherside of the cave leading to the surface.

"How the hell does he know where to go?" Lucy questions, "He's a dragon slayer, he must've picked up someone's scent." Happy explains, Alec sighs not knowing if what Happy says is true. If so why is he allowing Natsu take point, when he's probably going to fight the first person he lays eyes on or the trail he's following could lead them all deeper into the cave instead.

Luckily Alec's worry was for nothing as the group managed to make it outside and hide behind an old worn down stone wall. There they see a group of people in a circle wearing robes and hoods at what appears to be some sort of ritual sight chanting. With stone pillars holding up a solid piece of stone in the shape of a crescent moon.

"What are they doing?" Natsu questions, "My hunch was right, they're performing the Moon Drip spell to resurrect Deliora." Alec says, "You're absolutely right Mr. Dragon." Lyra says.

"They can't, Deliora is too dangerous! That thing will destroy and kill everyone with its wrath! They're complete idiots!" Grey retorts, "I think what the islanders think is a curse to them might be a side effect of the spell. Too much concentrated moon energy will affect the body." Lyra states. "I'll make them pay." Natsu seriously states, Lucy then elbows Natsu in the face and shushes him saying, "Someone's coming this way."

A person wearing long purple pants tucked in metal boots, wearing a long blue sleeved shirt with a black belt around their waist, and a metal helmet in the shape of Deliora's head with long purple feathers coming out from the top, along with wearing a white cape.

"What a waste, I lost so much precious sleep for nothing." Yuka complains, Toby then starts to fall asleep while walking. "We searched everywhere for the intruders but found no trace of them." Yuka continues, "Maybe there wasn't any!" Toby shouts tired of Yuka's whining.

"I'm afraid I have some sad news, Cold Emperor. It seems we had intruders during the day, but it seems they got away somehow. We can not speak of love in this situation." The pink haired girl says to the man.

"Intruders?" The man says, causing Grey to open his mouth in shock. "So that guy's their leader huh." Natsu says.

"He's trying to act all high and mighty behind that stupid looking mask." Lucy comments, "Hey now I think it looks kinda cool." Happy replies.

"Shelly, has Deliora been awakened yet?" The Cold Emperor questions, "It should be later tonight or tomorrow." The pink haired girl replies. "Which one girl!" Toby demands.

"The time has almost come. If you see those intruders again kill them, I don't want anyone getting in my way." The Cold Emperor commands. "They must have been villagers, they're the only other people on this island." Shelly points out, "Then destroy the village!" The Cold Emperor orders the three and with a reply they all say, "Yes sir."

"What!" Natsu says in disbelief, "But the villagers didn't have anything to do with this." Lucy says with shock. "Yeah, we got to stop them." Natsu points out.

"It's a shame there has to be blood shed." Grey is still in shock upon hearing the Cold Emperor's voice, Alec notices Grey's expression and asks, "Grey are you good?"

All of a sudden Natsu jumps on the stone wall and yells, "I'm tired of this sneaking around business! It's not the villagers you're after we're the intruders!" Natsu then shoots fire from his mouth into the sky, Alec facepalms at Natsu's fiery announcement, grabbing the enemy's attention. "I guess I should be glad he even lasted this long… Alright everyone get ready for a fight!" Alec says.

"I know that mark, they're from Fairy Tail." Shelly expresses in a worried voice.

"Interesting, the villagers must've gone to the mainland to seek help from the magical guild." Yuka says. "Don't worry about them, go eradicate the village." The Cold Emperor commands.

"What?" Lucy questions, "But why?" Natsu adds.

"Anyone who stands in my way, whether deliberately or not, is my enemy." The Cold Emperor explains, Alec appears behind the Cold Emperor and says, "My, my is that why they call you cold emperor? Because you have no heart." The Cold Emperor whips around so fast he nearly falls.

"How did you get there!?" The Cold Emperor demands. "Oh, I don't know, maybe I just walked over here." Alec mocks. "Are you… mocking me?" The Cold Emperor questions anger clearly in his voice. "That depends on you kid, but I do have a question for you."

"And what would that be?" Alec smirks, catching the attention of everyone present. "What's your relationship with Grey Fullbuster because it's obvious it goes beyond acquaintances." Alec points out, just then Grey comes out behind the stone wall and runs toward the cold emperor and yells, "Lyon! Stop this crazy ceremony right now! 'Ice Make: Floor'!" Grey then smashes both hands into the ground creating a floor of ice with ice spikes sticking upward heading straight towards the enemy group causing them to jump backwards to get out of the way. The cold emperor now revealed to be Lyon lands on one hand copying the exact spell Grey used, as the two spells collide with each other, a pillar of ice is created and instantly shatters.

"He's an ice wizard too!" Happy says in shock. As the two ice wizards get into position to fight, Grey says, "Lyon, do you have any idea what you're doing?"

"Oh Grey, it's been quite a while hasn't it." Lyon bluntly says. "Why, just why would you revive Deliora?" Grey questions. "To think you were one of the wizards called to this island to help those poor villagers." Lyon mocks.

"Well to be fair he wasn't, he was actually tasked to take those three back to the guild but I didn't want to deal with him then so I knocked him out and brought him here." Alec corrects the ice mage. "Not now Al!" Grey retorts, Alec yawns out of boredom before saying, "Okay well, I already know what's going to happen here. Emperor guy here is gonna send his minions to the village to destroy it like he already said and we're going to have to defend it. While you do this ceremony to release Deliora. But Grey here wants to fight you kid and no matter who tells him otherwise, I can tell he's gonna fight you. I honestly don't care about the outcome of your fight, sorry Grey but I'm just being honest here." Grey frowns at Alec.

"So I propose this, Emperor guy or Lyon. You send your minions to the village like you said and those two humans and cat go defend it by themselves while Grey fights you here. Also the minions can try to get in their way if you want them too." Alec offers with a smirk.

This disgusts the Fairy tail wizards and their opponents thinking, "Is he really going to let the villagers die just like that. After everything they've said, how can he be so cruel."

"And what will you be doing, you never said anything about that?" Lyon questions. Grey then is about to fire off another spell while Lyon's distracted but Alec extends his arm out and with two fingers pointed towards Grey, 'Creation Magic: Bind'. Alec immediately flicks his wrist up and shadows begin to wrap around Grey's arms pulling them apart and forcing him to his knees.

"What the hell Alec, what's wrong with you! Lyon was distracted." Alec glares at Grey then says, "Shut up kid, the adult is talking!" Alec then focuses back on Lyon.

"As for me I won't get in your way. I honestly want to see how this plays out. But if you or any of your minions here try to kill my guild mates, I will slaughter everyone here in the most brutal way you can't possibly imagine. I can promise you that." Alec warns with cold eyes and a hint of bloodlust. Lyon takes a step back momentarily before taking a breath and says, "You got yourself a deal. Shelly, Toby, Yuka, go destroy the village and deal with those wizards. Don't let them get in your way." Lyon commands, and the three take off towards the village.

"Happy, go fly Lucy to the village to warn them. Natsu go do what you can to slow them down but don't get yourself killed." Alec says and the three do as they are told. Alec then releases the spell he placed on Grey.

Grey gets to his feet and glares daggers at Alec. Alec just waves his hand in dismissal as he starts to walk away from the two ice wizards and back down towards the frozen Deliora.

"There it is, Captain, the cursed island of Galuna." The pirate says to Erza. "Can you get me any closer to the island?"

"We'd love to do that for you, but the island is called the cursed island for a reason ma'am. Any who go on the island don't come back the same or not at all." The pirate says, Erza puts her hand on his shoulder. "As long as I'm around you will have nothing to fear so take me as close as you can. Then when I get off just stay in the ship I'll be coming back once I find my comrades." Erza says. The pirate and crew begin to have hearts in their eyes, "Aye, Aye captain! You heard the lady lads, let's get this ship closer to shore." The crew quickly scramble to their stations and get the ship moving again.
