Q&A

shirkahn chapter

Nice to see Dabi getting a bit of redemption, though will he be physically healed at some point? And getting Lady Nagant as a protector is wise. Anyways, looking forward to the next chapter.

Answer:

Yes, Dabi will eventually get fully healed, especially since I have already laid the groundwork for it. If you read the chapter carefully you would see that he's already started healing and the chapters before already demonstrated that it was possible with Mina.

Lady Nagant was the person I thought of, if izuku wanted to get somebody to help protect against assassins. And knowing the HPSC as well as the other criminal faction's assassination would be highly likely. Not to mention I really love the character and I thought she could relate to this version of izuku pretty well. Thanks to both of their hands drenched in blood.

Blaze1992 chapter 25 . Jul 1

Is the kill switch a canon thing or just a thing you added to spruce up the threat level?

Answer:

It's a thing I added, since it was totally what the HPSC would do to ensure loyalty.

winstarDragon chapter 25 . Jul 1

Just like that I can see how Lady nagant may fall in love with Izuku.

Answer:

No, she is not going to fall in love with izuku, the Harem is set, and I will not be adding anyone to it.

Chapter 23: Sweet Taste Of Freedom

Kaina followed Izuku out of the prison, she was still half expecting All of this to be an elaborate and cruel joke of some kind. But as a car pulled up(one she could easily identify was armored), she realized that this wasn't a joke, and she was really getting out of this hell disguised as a prison. Tartarus violated so many laws just by existing. The treatment of prisoners was beyond inhumane; the cells had no air conditioning, no heating, you were locked in a (48 x 48 x 48) Metal box for 24 hours a day and given your meal on titanium trays. In the summer it was a hot box and in the winter it was a freezer. It doesn't help that the uniform that they give you is paper-thin and offers no protection outside of common decency.

The 'toilet' in her cell was a literal hole in the ground. The guards would take her out of the cell once a day, strip her, and hose her down with freezing cold water. In the summer, it was a godsend, but in the winter it was akin to being frozen like a popsicle. The only thing she could think of that was even remotely humane, was the fact that she wasn't raped by the guards and that the food was even edible. It tasted like garbage but it was specifically designed so prisoners wouldn't starve to death. As the two got in the car, Kaina noticed that there were multiple strange glowing runes all along the interior. Lifting a curious eyebrow towards Izuku, he instantly knew what she was silently asking. Deciding to humor her he began to explain.

"The runes on the interior of the car have several functions, most of them are focused on anti-surveillance. A couple defend against elemental attacks, and the rest reinforce the vehicle." Izuku said, Kaina nodded her head, deciding to ask a question that she had been dying to ask since the moment she accepted his offer.

"Okay, now that I'm working for you, will you tell me who you are, and how you know so much about me?" Kaina asked curiously.

It was odd, throughout the whole conversation in that interrogation room, he acted like they had met before, and it confused her. Izuku smiled beneath his helmet, a smile quickly revealed as he removed it. Kaina's eyes nearly fell out of their sockets in shock. Kaina easily recognized this boy and the words that he said next only proved it.

"Hey Auntie."

Musutafu Shopping Mall

Lydia was failing to comprehend how she was roped into her current situation. They were supposed to be getting Momo a complete wardrobe and essentials. Instead, Mitsuki somehow convinced her and Serana that they too needed a full wardrobe and essentials. Lydia swore that Mitsuki was secretly a Daedric prince of fashion, because right now she was being forced through a form of torture that she wouldn't wished on her worst enemy. As she came out of the changing room again, she was wearing a fancy dress that made her want to die simply from wearing it. Like seriously, it was an entirely pink dress with what she guessed was butterflies. Just seeing herself in the mirror made her want to puke. She was a warrior Gods dammit! She is the house Carl to the hero of Skyrim, not a prancy princess. Turning towards Mitsuki she glared daggers at the woman but Mitsuki didn't flinch in the slightest, instead, she just took a picture of her, and in that moment Lydia swore bloody vengeance upon the woman.

If it wasn't for the fact that she promised to get her a dress that would make Izuku fall head over heels for her on the condition that she tried on dresses that she picked out, she would have torn these dresses apart for just being in her presence. At least she wasn't the only one suffering, Mitsuki somehow convinced Rumi to submit herself to Mitsuki's twisted form of torture. It was probably the same deal that Mitsuki made with her to get her to do this. Because for all her trickery Mitsuki absolutely knew what she was doing when it came to fashion. At least this was the last round of dresses, but it didn't help when Serana, who seemed to be enjoying herself, squealed the words, "You're so cute," as she happily hugged the two. The two women shoved her off of them, then stomped over to the clothes pile, absolutely humiliated, grabbed the clothes that they actually wanted to try on, and went back into the changing room. There was no way in hell they were getting any of the dresses that fashion maniac picked out.

Momo sat there confused at the display, if it wasn't for the fact that the women allowed her to pick exactly what she wanted with some advice, she would have thought that they were just like her parents in how Mitsuki was treating Lydia and Rumi. But, Mitsuki explained to her that she was just teasing them and that she wasn't going to force them to wear outfits that they didn't like. This explanation helped her to understand the situation better. It was made clear that it was all in good fun when Rumi and Lydia came out more relaxed and calm in the clothes that they wanted to wear. A set of outfits which looked really good on them. The two wore a pair of skinny jeans that hugged the legs nicely enough to show off their feminine figures. The T-shirts the two wore were pretty normal and the brown and black leather jacket they picked out were quite nice. The two women went through several variations of clothes until they got a decent pile of what they wanted.

After that, they went to the women's section to get Momo some much-needed undergarments. As they searched through the options, Momo quickly realized many of the options were more comfortable than what she was used to, especially the bras. When she told Mitsuki, she asked her to take off the bra she was currently wearing and show it to her, which confused her. What confused her more was when Mitsuki's face turned sour upon examining the article of clothing. At the counter, she quickly grabbed a bra that fit her comfortably, bought it, and told her to put it on. Still confused, she asked why she did that and what Mitsuki told her truly shocked her. Apparently, the bra she was wearing was all-form, with zero comfort. It was designed to accentuate her bust and was a size too small for her. Hell, it didn't even have padding and put far too much strain on her back. Mitsuki told her that there was no way in hell that she was going to let her wear that abomination a second longer.

After taking the bra from Mitsuki, she put on the comfortable bra that fit her perfectly. She could not help but think about the comparisons to her old bra. Every time she complained to her parents about how uncomfortable it was, they would scold her and say it was the best brand money could buy, and was designed by the best fashion designers in the country. If that was the case, why was a common store bought bra somehow better than one that was supposed to be the best? It was these thoughts that ran through her mind as she looked in the mirror examining herself, and before she knew it she was crying.

Throughout this whole ordeal, she tried so hard not to cry. But she couldn't hold it back anymore, she was just so confused and lost. For the longest time, she thought everything her parents did was in her best interests even though their method of punishment was painful. But then these people came along and flipped her whole world upside down overnight. What else did her parents do wrong to her, and how much was truly wrong with her life? Were her parents so obsessed with their image and their prestige that they would abuse her to this level? Did they truly not love her? Was she just an object for them to show off so they could bolster their own image?

Her thoughts were cut off by a surprisingly strong and firm hug from Lydia. Leaning into the hug, Momo sobbed even harder into the girl's shoulder. As the two sat there in the changing room, Momo continued to cry into Lydia's shoulder while Lydia ran her fingers through her hair in an attempt to comfort her. They sat there like that for a good 15 minutes before Momo was able to calm down enough for them to get her presentable before leaving the changing room. Unfortunately, this was not the only time she broke down into tears. Lydia would give her credit where it was due, she definitely attempted to put up a strong front and she only broke down two more times before they got home.

Walking up the steps to their home, Rumi knew something was off. There was an odd scent in the air, one she didn't recognize. Signaling silently to Lydia and Serana, they walked up to the door and opened it. As they opened the door, they saw someone who shouldn't be there. Rumi was the first to act as she moved into position in front of the others and immediately went on guard, seeing this, Lydia took a similar position.

"How the fuck did you break out of Tartarus and how the fuck did you get in here?" Rumi said with steel in her tone.

But even though she was putting up a strong front she was worried. Especially when Izuku said this place was warded to prevent intruders from entering their home unannounced. The fact that the bloody Lady Nagant was sitting at their dining room table drinking what she realized was a glass of Nord Mead, was not what she expected when she came home today. Seeing her flushed face, Rumi quickly realized that the Mead was getting to her. She didn't understand why she was drinking it in the first place, or how she got a hold of a bottle, but she knew that it meant her reflexes would be dulled by the alcohol. She was about to move to contain her when a voice came from the kitchen that everybody recognized as Izuku's.

"Welcome home! I'm in the kitchen making dinner, it should be done in a minute so stand down, sit down, and I'll explain everything after we eat!" Izuku announced from the kitchen in a cheery-tone. Lydia instantly followed her fiance's command and stood down, she then walked over to the dining room table and flopped onto one of the seats across from the woman. Serana shrugged and did the same, the rest followed her example shortly after.

Rumi kept her eye on Kaina the whole time they ate. She knew the whole story of how Lady Nagant killed three Heroes in a blind rage and was sentenced to Tartarus for her crimes. So having her in her home and eating across from her like it was no big deal frustrated her. What was even more frustrating was the fact that there was a smile on her mate's face as well as Mitsuki's. Did they know her previously, perhaps before she was arrested for murder, or was she missing something? Either way, she was going to get answers one way or another. When they were finally done eating, Izuku spoke up.

"Okay, I promised I would explain, and I will. First, do not interrupt me and listen to the full story." Izuku said, and when he received nods from everyone, he began to explain everything he knew about Kaina. A story that caused the faces of everyone besides Lydia, Serana, and Kaina to become pale.

Rumi listened as he recounted to them how she was indoctrinated by the HPSC to be an assassin. How she was trained to use her quirk to assassinate multiple Heroes who worked against them so the HPSC could keep their hold on the current Hero Society. He explained how, when Kaina finally had enough and started questioning why she was doing it in the first place, the president attempted to kill her, but that she had been faster. How Kaina was later framed by the HPSC, how they hired another assassin to kill three Heroes with a rifle that was modified to fire her hair, the same hair the HPSC gave them. He also told them how he found the safe house the assassin had kept the weapon in, alongside a couple spare rounds of her hair. How he and Nezu used that evidence to get her released and have her Hero License reinstated. He then went on to his reasoning for hiring her. Something Rumi decided to acquiesce to.

Lydia and Serana weren't worried in the slightest, they were already on board with the idea, and to be honest she was as well. However, she realized that they should have waited until Momo was in her room to have this discussion, because it looked like her view of reality was just flipped upside down and then bashed over the head with a ball peen hammer. Deciding to take her up to her room with the things she got today, Rumi left the table with Momo. Once they left, Kaina rounded on Izuku.

"Was that necessary, if what you told me was true, that girl is already going through enough shit." Kaina Said, a little peeved.

"Yes, it was, trust me on this Auntie Kaina, it's better that she finds out now rather than later. Right now, her beliefs are already shattering, if we let them reform in the incorrect way they may shatter again, and we might not be able to pick up the pieces this time. Take it from my experience, it is better to have all your beliefs shattered at once rather than having them shattered individually." Izuku said tiredly, his tone sad and distant. Kaina sat back into her chair as Lydia poured her another glass of Mead before pouring herself a glass.

"Now, are you guys going to tell us why Izuku keeps calling Kaina auntie?" Serana said with a cheeky smile and she filled her own glass of Nord Mead.

"Oh, that's easy, it's because me, her, and Inko have been friends since we were toddlers. We stayed friends until she up and vanished, I guess that was around the time the commission got to her. She disappeared for a couple of years before coming back into our lives. it wasn't much, but she babysitted Izuku from time to time when he was little." Mitsuki said, pouring herself her own glass of Mead. (A drink she dubbed; The Gut Buster.)

"I see, well I already like her since she's obviously not a milk drinker." Lydia said as a jab at Izuku while she watched Kaina go for her third drink with only a light dusting on her cheeks.

"Well, I've always had a high alcohol tolerance so..." Kaina said before the alcohol caught up with her and she immediately passed out face first onto the table.

"Well, that's another one who bites the dust." Mitsuki snarked as she took a picture of the passed out form of Kaina so she could use it for blackmail later.

A Shady Bar In An Undisclosed Location

"Kurogiri, what's our progress on the required NPCs for our raid?" a crusty looking young man wearing severed hands on his face asked. He was sitting on a worn down barstool in front of the bar, occasionally sipping from his drink while scratching at the side of his neck.

"Progress is moving slow enough to keep our plans hidden, but we are on schedule, young master." The misty bartender Kurogiri stated. But this news caused the crusty looking man to growl in frustration. His growls were cut off by the sound of the TV in the bar turning on.

"Be patient Tomura, such an event must be well hidden if you wish to keep them unaware. As such, you must have patience." A voice from the TV said, a distinctly lower and masculine voice that would fill most with fear.

"Yes sensei, you're right, such a massive raid takes time to prepare." The now named Tomura admitted.

"Good, now, I have a secondary objective for you during your attack on UA. There is a boy named Izuku Midoriya, I want him to be captured alive. My spy says that he traveled to another dimension and came back with the knowledge of magic. A rather obvious ploy. From the information I was able to get from the spy, I believe this boy has the capability of giving quirks or at least something similar to myself. This is why I'll be giving you another Nomu for this task. Remember, I want him alive, and failure is not an option." The voice from the TV said in an authoritative tone that demanded absolute obedience.

"Yes, sensei."
