Chapter Nine: Yes...or no?
Kara sat in her office for the rest of the day calming down well that was until her phone lit up alerting her that Supergirl was needed.
When she arrived Guardian was somehow already there getting people out of the burning building. She sighed to herself then went to put the fire out.
She could hear people on the roof; she used her vision to see past the fire and saw a family trapped under something, the mother holding her crying baby close and the husband holding his wife as they both coughed.
She rushed over to them landing between them and the fire, using her air breath she put out the last of the fire then she turned to the family.
"Take our baby first," the mother spoke "Please!"
Supergirl sighed taking the baby "I'll be back for both of you I promise," she told them softly flying off with the baby then landing on the ground "Guardian!" she called out.
Instantly the man in the armor suit was running towards her "Get this baby to an ambulance," Supergirl gave him the baby "I have to go get it's parents," she said before flying off.
After saving the parents they were returned to their baby, Supergirl and Guardian finished saving people, the rest of fire put out by the fire fighters.
"Supergirl!" A called out just as Supergirl was about to leave the scene.
She stopped and turned towards the woman "This is uh...a thank you," the woman smiled softly taking off the necklace with a block rock in the middle "For saving my family and I."
"Uh," Supergirl took the necklace feeling a bit weird but didn't want to crush the sweet ladies soul "Thank you," she smiled the woman nodded turning to walk away pulling out her phone.
'It's done.'
Central City: STAR Labs
Iris sat in the cortex; along with Cisco, Barry, Wally, Harry, and Joe. They were all still trying to figure out who Savitar was and trying to figure out why Caitlin had went with him.
A phone binging made them all look back at Iris who held her phone in her hand she read the text and smiled slightly.
"Everything okay baby girl?" Joe asked.
"Huh?" She looked up "Oh everything's fine, just a text from a source for an article..." she lied.
Barry stared at her, he knew when Iris was lying and telling the truth. "You sure?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Careful Bare, your starting to sound like your my fiancé," Iris smirked.
A grim looked came on to Barry's face at the thought but it also reminded him of Kara and Oliver.
"Right...never mind," he shook his head pulling out his phone "Uhm...can we take a break? I need to check in with Ollie and Kara."
Iris let out a low groan out of irritation, but it was still heard.
"I agree," Harry nodded, "We've been working on this all day we all need a break and I also need to speak with Lena."
Barry nodded walking out of the cortex.
"You know," Cisco stared at Harry who held his phone "Dating Lena has made you a softie," he put his hand on Harry's shoulder.
Harry stared at Cisco "Ramon. Remove the hand."
"Right. Softie on towards Lena big jerk towards me." Cisco mumbled.
