Chapter Nine: Yes...or no?

Barry went to the Time Vault to have a private phone call with Oliver and Kara. He clicked on their group call holding the phone up to his face as it a video call.

Oliver was the first to answer. "Barry? Everything ok?"

"Yeah," Barry nodded "Everything ok over there?"

"Yeah."

Kara then joined the call holding her free hand that showed her engagement ring. "Guess who's engaged!"

Both Oliver and Barry's eyes widened this was not how they expected her to accept their proposal.

"This is you saying yes?" Barry

"Yep!"

"She's saying yes!" Oliver cheered then cleared his throat "Good. She said yes."

Both Kara and Barry laughed at this.

"When can we tell everyone?" Barry asked.

"James already knows..." Oliver and Barry visibly tensed at this "He came by declaring his love for me..." Kara went on explaining everything that happened in her office.

"That dude seriously pisses me off," Oliver growled.

"Same," Barry nodded in agreement.

"But..." Kara wanted to take the subject back to telling who first instead of their hatred for James "I feel like we haven't spend enough time in Central City...and Harry told Lena something about your team going to a karaoke bar..."

"No." Oliver knew immediately what Kara was saying.

"Yes." Barry nodded knowing as well what Kara was trying to say.

"Absolutely not."

"Oliver you don't have to sing but...you do have to come." Barry stated.

"No I don't."

Barry saw something behind Kara he was about to speak but his head snapped up at the time vault opening and Cisco walking in "We think we got something."

"That's your cue," Kara said.

All three ended the call but Barry received a quick text from Kara.

Kara: Don't worry. I can handle Oliver.

Barry: The pout or something else?

Kara: [Wink]

Barry: [blush]

Kara: That your permission?

Even though Kara and Oliver were also dating the there of them had rules in their relationship and one of those rules was no sex without the other being there unless they give their permission.

Barry: [Thumbs up]
