The next hour was like an ice killer, or a huge iceberg in the middle. Alex didn't look at Edward once, because she was in her own world, or listening to Mr. Molina's words for the class. All her thoughts were in making the onions phase work. After the biology class finished going to Lunch. Alex took her things and said a quick thank you to Edward, before running off to the cafeteria.
Everyone arrived at the cafeteria, Bella sat in the same spot with her friends, she didn't talk with Jessica or Eric, she had her own eyes on Edward. The Cullen entered the cafeteria talking and sitting in their usual spot and Alice told the group:
— "My visions changed completely around Edward. He doesn't seem to be with the new girl we saw yesterday, I don't know what happened" — say Alice to her family
— "I feel his emotions are very strong now, I think it is because of that new girl that arrived today" — say Jasper with a concerned face
The two couples saw the copper guy walking into the cafeteria and he was looking around, until his eyes were on her, the Cullen saw his brother having his eyes on the dark red copper girl who was in the line for grabbing her lunch, with her headphones on. So Rosalie told the group:
— "The way Edward is looking at her looks pretty different from the way he did to the new girl, the Swan girl" — say Rosalie looking at every move that her brother does.
Alex takes her tray of food and looks for a good place to sit, she finds a lonely bench and begins to eat quietly, she didn't want to attract as much attention to herself as she had in the past. Bella looked to the young woman who had taken the leading role from Edward, why was she now the protagonist?
After Alex has finished her lunch, she leaves the cafeteria to go to her locker, and grab one of her books and go outside to the main courtyard and be able to read the information under a tree. Alex was not so much into reading books, but now she wants to change that laziness habit that she had before.
