"Itsy, Linda it's the Festival of Pancakes. You know the tradition." Shocket said excited.
"Yes we know it's that. Along with our tradition." Linda told her seeing Itsy excited.
It was Pancake Day in New Raccoon City which Shocket looked forward to every year, including the pancake eatibg contest which Shocket had created after she and Linda had learnt about Pancake Day from Howard so were doing it every year so Shocket was excited to include Itsy in their tradition. Linda was using the stove to make the pancakes as Shocket grabbed the condiments associated with pancakes which they'd gotten at the grocery store a few days ago.
"Let's see who the Pancake Champ is gonna be this year. Maybe it'll be the newcomer, Itsy or Linda." Shocket said in a commentator's voice making Itsy giggle as Linda smirked prepping the hot water bottle just in case seeing Shocket crack her furry knuckles grabbing her fork and knife making Linda smile as Itsy and Shocket were chowing down on pancakes only Linda had bowed out warly but after a while, Itsy dropped her fork and knife in defeat running to the bathroom making Shocket shrug her furry shoulders still eating making Linda anxious. "Shocket honey you won. Let's stop before you get sick." Linda said hearing Shocket whimper knowing her tummy hurt.
"Come on honey, let's go lie down. Helen will be happy you're still the champ." Linda told her. She was tucking Shocket into her side of their bed, putting a hot water bottle on Shocket's tummy putting Helen beside her leaving their room hearing Itsy in the bathroom which she got going to relax after the craziness of this morning.
"I did it again, didn't I, Linda. Itsy okay." Linda heard Shocket ask. "Yes Shocket but Terransso it too, on this holiday and Itsy is resting too." Linda replied to her. It was a bit later and Linda hadchecked on both Itsy and Shocket after the pancake eating contest, only Itsy had puked while Shocket had atummyache but lying on the bed with Shocket cuddling her gently.
"That's good Itsy's resting asthis is her first year taking part in our tradition." Shocket said softly.
"I know honey, but the both of you will feel better soon." Linda replied to her. She knew that Itsy and Shocket would feel better plus romorrow was Friday meaning Shocket would be going to Rocket's house this weekend like every weekend..
"You made a pancake champ out of you." Linda told her making Shocket grin. Linda was referring to Shocket's favourite Disney song from her favourite Disney iMovie, Mulan as she, Itsy and Shocket had been watching Disney movies and Mulan had struck major chords with Shocket which had surprised Linda as most of the princess movies had triggered Shocket especialky Tangled plus Shocket listened to the Mulan soundtrack a lot especially when meditating like Rocke had taught her.
"Yeah, like Shang with Mulan so she could beat the Huns." Shocket said to her yawning making Linda smile.
