With that, nighteye bowed to rappa, then he, nezu and the yagi family left the room.

Now

The yagi family, nezu and nighteye were sitting on sofas facing each other in nezu's office at UA high. They all had a nice cup of tea on the table in between them, still steaming with how fresh the cups were. "So, what are we going to do, now?" akane asked, addressing the elephant in the room. "Well, for starters, we need to get your sister back home, where she belongs," toshinori said. "After that, we need to save the girl she took in, plus we need to temporarily arrest nightmare moon," nighteye said.

Akane froze when nighteye said that, before she looked at him like he was crazy. "Do you have a death wish, nighteye?" akane practically screamed at him. Nighteye opened his mouth to answer, but akane didn't let him. "You saw what my sister did when she went after kai, she killed most of them and cremated kai's body!" akane screamed at him. "As it stands, should you actually attempt to separate that little girl from my sister, you better be prepared to fight for your fucking life, just to survive. Because, based on what she did to kai, she has no qualms with killing those that are a real threat to that little girl," akane said.

With that, akane left nezu's office, not caring that nezu didn't excuse her. "Perhaps it would be for the best to let the pro's know to not harm that child, or take her away from young izumi," nezu said. Toshinori and inko agreed, but nighteye looked reluctant, causing nezu to look at him. "Is there a problem with my decision, nighteye?" nezu asked.

"It's just, i highly doubt that the little girl will ever be safe with nightmare moon, despite what her letter to the former head of the yakuza said," nighteye said. Suddenly, there was a strong vibration running through the ground, the sky turned a funny color, and the television in the office turned itself on. It was tuned to a news channel, and the headline was 'burning warehouse and an eclipse'.

"Greetings, there is breaking news. Shortly after a fire started at the warehouse i'm in front of, an eclipse appeared not even a month after the previous one, which left scientists of all fields baffled beyond measure. I will report more as it comes in," a woman with pink hair, red eyes and wearing a business suit reported in front of a smoking pile of rubble. Nezu, toshinori, inko and nighteye ran to the window and looked at the sky, only to see that the moon was in front of the sun and the sky was turning black, as if it were turning to night. "What happened?" toshinori asked the same question in the mind of the others, but they had no answer.

About 10 minutes ago

Izumi was flying towards the backup base, trying to get to her girlfriend and her daughter. Suddenly, when she got halfway there, the entire warehouse caught fire, sending her flying away with the heat from it. When she managed to right herself, she saw the #2 pro, endeavor, burning the building down. However, she saw something that caused her blood to boil: endeavor was smirking. She managed to land behind him quietly, and she heard what he was beginning to say. "Finally, i found those damn villains, the lizard, the magician and the girl with blonde hair," he was saying. Hearing that, izumi's blood froze in her veins. "The girl with blonde hair, would her name happen to be himiko toga?" izumi asked him. Endeavor, not caring that the question came from behind him, answered. "Oh, yeah, that was her name," he said carelessly.

Rage burning within her, izumi stepped into his field of vision (in front of him) and had him get a good look at her. "Oh, lookie here: nightmare moon. My paycheck is about to get fatter," he said gleefully, as he reached for her. However, before he managed to touch her, she grabbed his wrist and squeezed it, cracking it pretty badly, as she looked at him in fury, and he yelled in pain. "Silence," izumi said coldly, before she punched his chest with a moonlight encased fist, sending him flying into the building across the street, with the building collapsing onto endeavor.

Once she felt the heat die from the burning building, she quickly turned around and started to furiously dig through the charred building materials the warehouse was made of, desperately calling for her girlfriend and daughter to answer her. However, she reached to items that caused her blood to burn hotter than the surface of the sun with rage, and freeze colder than pluto with fear and despair. The two items were himiko's favorite knife and eri's favorite shirt, which had a moon, stars and an alicorn on the front of the shirt. Hands trembling, she grabbed the items and held them to her chest and weeped. "No, no, don't leave me. Please," she begged, even as tears fell from her eyes.

She heard a noise behind her, and she realized that endeavor had cremated the only two people that actually loved her from the beginning. So she gently put down the knife and shirt, turned and stalked towards endeavor, a dead look in her eyes. Endeavor saw her walking towards him, and cockily believed that she was going to turn herself in. That thought left his head as soon as he saw her dead eyes. "What is wrong with you, girl? You're acting as if i killed your daughter," endeavor said dismissively. "You did," izumi said in a voice colder than the arctic, getting endeavor's attention. "You killed my little unicorn, and my girlfriend. Time for you to die like the monster you are," izumi said.

The sky darkened, causing endeavor to look up and, to his shock, saw both a lunar eclipse and the sky itself turning black. "What's going on-hrk," endeavor said, before he felt a hand pierce into his torso and a hand grabbing his heart. He looked down and saw, to his shock, that nightmare moon had impaled her hand into his chest, right where his heart was. "Die, monster," izumi said before she ripped his heart out and crushed it in her hand. Endeavor collapsed onto the ground and began losing blood from his lifeless body. Izumi wiped his blood off her hand onto his costume and went to go pick up the knife of her girlfriend and the shirt of her daughter, before hugging them to her chest, as tears fell from her dead eyes.

"This world does not want me to be happy," she said. "This world wants me to suffer, while it favors the daylight," she said. Shadows made of darkness and moonlight began to appear. "Come forth, shadows of night. Come forth, souls of the dead. The princess of night calls for your aid," she cast. Humanoid forms began to take shape, albeit somewhat skeletal. Their eyes were a solid silver that glowed, with lines falling from the eyes, as if they were crying. The next things to appear were pieces of armor along with a sword or axe in the hands of the shadows. These shadows multiplied until there were over 3000 shadows, standing at attention, waiting for orders.

Izumi stood up and turned to face her shadow soldiers. "Go forth, my soldiers of night. Carry my rage and sorrow in kind. Kill the heroes," izumi commanded, as tears fell from her eyes. One tear streak was as black as a starless night, while the other tear streak was a bright silver.

With nezu and company

The tv turned on and the news started to show what was going on. First, they showed that endeavor was dead, via a ripped out heart. Then the scene changed to show that the pro's were fighting what appeared to be shadows in human form, and the pro's were losing. Badly. A camera had changed the view to izumi, who was stalking among the battlefield. Once the camera showed her, inko, toshinori, nezu, nighteye and the students from 1-A (1-A from their dorm) they all saw that izumi looked dead in her eyes, was crying and she clutched a knife and a child's shirt to her chest.

Akane was having a funny feeling that she knew what was affecting her sister. Izumi, on screen, said something that chilled the watchers to their bones. "This world wants me to be miserable. If it wants me to be miserable, i will show the people the meaning of the word 'misery'," izumi said. The camera suddenly jerked and fell to the side, blood appearing on the ground in front of the camera. Suffice to say, the cameraman was dead, and the camera shut itself off.

"We have to stop her," tenya said, standing and chopping his arm. "What would you have us do, tenya? Those black wispy things are able to take on PRO'S and win. What can WE do?!" mina practically yelled at him. Struck speechless, tenya sat down, embarrassed.

An old memory of her and her sister reading some old books came back to akane. "Huh, i remember reading something about those shadow things with my sister, a while back," akane said. That sentence got the attention of all her classmates (katsuki may not show or admit it, but he was freaking the hell out) and they all sat in front of her. "Well? What did the book say?" denki said hopefully. "Ok, i will tell you what i know, but it was years ago, and my sister and i only came across it once, so my memory of it is not perfect," akane warned her class. She took a breath and recalled what she could, which was not a lot. "Here's what i remember about those things: they are nearly indestructible, they are strong, and if you manage to damage them, they regenerate near instantly," akane began. That description alone scared most of them. "They only appear when the one that brought them into being feels incredible amounts of rage, as well as incredible amounts of despair. Even then, the person has to call for them," akane said.

"Is there any way for the person that brought them to get rid of them?" momo asked. "There is, but the person must be calmed down from the rage and despair that caused them to call them. Did any of you notice anything about her that she seemed particularly attached to?" akane asked. The class thought about it, but it was mina that came up with it. "Ah, she was clutching a knife and a child's shirt close to her chest," mina said.

Akane put the pieces together in her mind. When the picture came about, her naturally tanned skin visibly paled into pale brown, which the others noticed. "What's up, akane?" ochaco asked. "A warehouse destroyed by fire, endeavor dead and nightmare moon clutching a knife and a child's shirt," akane listed. The more intelligent ones, shoto and momo, quickly got what she was implying, and they paled as well. Seeing confused looks on the rest, akane decided to explain to the rest of her class (not counting shoto and momo). "Since most of you are slow on the process, i'll just tell you," akane said, ignoring their cries of protest. "I think nightmare moon's lover, as well as her adopted daughter, were killed because of endeavor, when he burned down that warehouse," akane said in a hollow tone.

Her classmates became incredibly shocked. Momo then thought of something, which she brought up. "Hold up a moment. That is only a possibility that they were killed. Those two could still be alive, and bring nightmare moon to her senses enough to stop this senseless slaughter," momo proposed.

Akane froze, as did the rest of the class. "Huh, that's a good point. It's possible that nightmare moon simply saw the items and believed that endeavor killed them, when they could have managed to escape the building," denki stated hopefully. The class looked at him in shock, causing him to pout and cross his arms. "What, i'm not allowed to be smart at times?" he whined. The class laughed at him, before momo and denki left the dorm to find nightmare moon's lover and daughter.

Elsewhere

Himiko was clutching eri to her torso, as eri cried her heart out. "There, there, let it all out, eri," himiko said as she rubbed eri's back. She recalled what happened after the group escaped, after izumi was captured.

Recent memory start

After getting to the backup hideout, himiko managed to calm eri down enough for her to go to sleep. After eri fell asleep, himiko set her favorite knife aside and started to change eri out of her clothes, so as to dress her in clean clothes. She changed eri out of her favorite shirt and shorts and put a clean shirt and skirt on eri as she slept, before putting eri's favorite shirt next to her knife.

After she finished changing eri's clothes, she sat in a chair and looked out the window. Just then , there was a large explosion. Eri woke up with a small shriek, and the rest of the villains in the hideout got up and scrambled for the exit. Deciding that eri's safety comes first, himiko quickly picked her up and clutched eri to her chest as she joined the other villains in the scramble for the hidden exit.

Recent memory end

"Come on, izumi, where are you? We need you," himiko murmured to herself as she soothed eri as best as she can.
