He's been up for too long as RJ exlained this stuff to me and drinking coffee helps vamps stay up but he looks exhausted but so stubborn. Maybe a story should help like in the past.
"Nebula everything okay. Why do you look worried as the house is light-insulated." Rocket said.
"Rockie honey you've been up all night you know, don't you wanna rest." Nebula said.
"I wanted to stay up so we could do stuff together. Since you're still adjusting." Rocket said.
It was after the holidays and the holiday party, where RJ's astral form had taken him on an astral journey and because of this, Rocket had finally told her that he was now a vampcoon because of Rocke only Nebula got it but not afraid which relieved Rocket as he'd been nervous only she was getting used to it with RJ helping her.
"Rocket, I'll be okay if you need to rest. We can do stuff at night." Nebula told him.
"Alright Nebs…" he told her getting sleepy following her to their room, tucking him into his side of their bed, making sure no sunlight got near him kissing his furry head seeing him out like a light relieving her as she left the room making herself some coffee but using Rocket's portal watch to go to Wondergore making Herbert delighted to see her, asking where Rocket was.
"He's sleeping like RJ and tucked him in. He wanted to stay up but I told him, we can do stuff at night." Nebula told him making Herbert get it. "That's good as he's been cranky. Good thing RJ can't drink coffee yet." she heard Herbert say making her nod being quiet so Chance and RJ can rest which Herbert found sweet.
That night afterthe moon was up, the smells of food stirred Rocket from sweet dreaming guessing it was Nebula getting up despite being in his lounge jammies that Herbert had gotten him a bigger size in because of his vampire raccoon body being like Poppa Marshmallow's entering the kitchen hugging Nebula making her giggle. "Groot morning Rocket, and glad you slept good. Herbert was concerned about your sleeping, because you were staying up." Nebula told him seeing him getting a juice box out of the fridge as he was hungry after sleeping all day.
"RJ explaibed, so it's cool plus I made dinner." Nebula told him making Rocket's pale-furred cheeks go pink but could eat for Nebula as he wasn't a typical vamp making Nebula smile seeing him eating which made Nebula happy as they were having fun and telling stories making Rocket not feel bad for sleeping all day feeling her hold his paw plus they could work on things in their lab at night sometimes plus was enjoying her food now she could eat again after Rocket updated her cybernetics so they wouldn't hurt her anymore but she still used her charging port which Rocket got.
"We can make this work, Nebula as were meant to be, for the love of Groot, RJ not now." Rocket said.
"Wait where's RJ, I can't see him." Nebula said to him amusing RJ. "He's using his astral form, it's how vamps can talk to each other long distance. I told RJ not to do it all the time. Only vamps can see the astral forms meaning RJ will use this for mischief." Rocket told her. "Chance is with his friends, Eric's with his moms and Herbie's busy so I wanted to see what you were doing. I see you're having a date night with Nebula." RJ told him.
"We'll hang out later okay. Right how's my time." Rocket said seeing him vanish.
"Now we have alone time. Sorry about that, Nebula." Rocket told her.
"It's fine, is RJ okay." Nebula asked him making him nod.
"He's just a lil lonely but I'll help him out." Rocket told her.
