Guardian Digimon Volume One-Guardian of the Ocean
Disclaimer: I do not own Avatar the Last Air Bender, Ben 10, Digimon, Negima, Naruto, and Sailor Moon. I do own the main villain of the story Kamen Rider Chaos as well as Sailor Sun and I'm going to be doing each chapter as if it's an in canon episode otherwise if I do what I did in Shooting Star Warrior Pegasus, it maybe a long volume with the only exception being the prologue.
Prologue
A black metallic armored human entered the Rhelm of Chaos. He his body might've been pitch black but his limbs were different colors representing each of the four Chaos Gods. His left metallic armored arm was blue representing the Tzeetnch also known as the Changer of Ways the Chaos God of magic, evolution, manipulation, and trickery. His right metallic arm was dark green representing the Chaos God Nurgle also known as the Plague Lord the Chaos God of disease, decay, death, and degradation. His left armored leg was blood red representing Khorne the Blood God, the Chaos God of War, and his right leg was dark pink representing Slaanesh the Dark Prince, the youngest of the Chaos God of Excess. He approached a second dark figure, this one completely black with three red flaming eyes. The other figure turned hearing him approach "You've done so far my son Kamen Rider Chaosbringer. So far you have bested all four of our Gods' demons Kairos Fateweaver, Ku'gath Plaguefather, N'kari and Skarbrand the Exiled and have absorbed them into you. With their powers in you it will allow you to go into the Chaos God of your choosing shall you need to use their boost."
"True there father Archaon the Everchosen. Those four Demons of Chaos were no laughing matter, they were all powerful in their own ways yet I've bested them thanks to your training."
Archaon held back a small evil smile behind his golden helmet "You were merely a weakling when I first found you when your parents abandoned you. Now like me you are strong."
"Indeed" Kamen Rider Chaosbringer said "Now together we'll bring the End times to this world! I'll now be able to take my revenge on those foolish parents of mine that abandoned me and all those that oppose us."
Archaon agreed with all his adopted son had said but it was time to tell him "I would like to see you perform on the battlefield Chaosbringer. Yet, it is my destiny alone to bring the Apocalypse and end times to this world. You however have a new destiny."
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT FATHER?!" Kamen Rider Chaosbringer asked "WE WERE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT TOGETHER LIKE YOU PROMISED!"
"I know" Archaon admitted "Yet the Gods have other plans for you. You see Chaosbringer, this isn't the only world that's out there."
Kamen Rider Chaosbringer rose now getting where his father was going towards "More worlds?"
Archaon held up a crystal ball revealing to Chaosbringer the truth showing him there were other planets out there "Indeed, the world we are currently on is my responsibility to bring the end times here. Other planets out there are yours for the taking my son. There is a Digimon you should be able to absorb and gain her powers. Once you gain her powers you'll be even more unstoppable, plus there maybe some other villains you ether ally with ether by force, absorbing them if you need to, or finally they can ally with you willingly."
Chaosbringer thinks about this now completely understanding "I see, so you want me to conquer or bring the end times just as you are doing here."
"Exactly!" Archaon said with the globe now showing his adopted son the Digimon he was searching for a completely green version of Samus Aran with double arm cannons "The Digimon you are searching for is known as Virusmon. According to Khorne, she's imprisoned somewhere."
"I'll waste no time then. I'll seek Virusmon out, then release her and absorb her."
Archaon watches his adopted son walk off just as he began to gather his forces.
In the Digital World a beautiful brown haired girl wearing a white schoolgirl shirt, yellow skirt, yellow bowtie, yellow gloves which loosely held a staff that had a miniature Sun at the top and yellow boots sat in a meeting with several other good Digimon. This was Sailor Sun also known as Sun Goddess. Sure she was the Sailor Guardian of the Sun, but secretly her duties involved the protection of the Digital World. She was also the ruler of the Digital World. Her true civilian name was Kari Kamayia and she had remained in the Digital World doing what her duty as Sailor Sun meant. Sailor Sun ruled the Digital World but she didn't rule it with an iron fist despite her incredible powers instead she shared power to many other good Digimon such as three huge angels. One was dark blue with several white wings, the second was the only female one among the three angels spouting bright blue armor while also having the same white wings both of the previous two had identical helmets, the third was a pure white angel with long ears. These three were the three Celestial Digimon and they helped Sailor Sun govern the Digital World. They weren't the only Digimon present for four massive Digimon were present too, one was a blue dragon with chains, the second was a double headed turtle, the third was a tiger, and the fourth was an orange phoenix like creature. These were the four Digimon Sovereign Azulongmon, Ebonwumon, Baihumon, and Zhuqiaomon whom co ruled sometimes alongside the three Celestial Digimon in their corresponding territories. With Sailor Sun was her trusted Digimon partner a small white cat with yellow gloves and a tail ring on her tail which was twice the length of her body Gatomon, and one huge god like man Merukimon. Both Gatomon and Merukimon tended to be Sailor Sun's advisers. Gatomon usually tended to stay at the Sun Goddess's side while Merukimon often acted like a royal guard often outside the room. It was very rare both Gatomon and Merukimon were together all at once except for when meetings like this happened. Every month Sailor Sun got together with her appointed Council of Rulers as she deemed it to discuss Digital World affairs and compare of how things were going. Ever since she discovered her identity, defeating the Dark Masters once again she was doing her job to make sure the Digital World never got anywhere anyone wanted it to be. Lately though something was bothering not only Sailor Sun, but her whole council. Evil Digimon began uprising but often not in the way they had seen before, it was like they were gathering somewhere even downright disappearing.
"I have to say this Sun Goddess" Seraphimon the dark blue angel admitted "It's very alarming that evil Digimon are seemingly ether gathering then disappearing."
"I'm quite aware of that" Sailor Sun admitted sighing heavily "DATS has informed me of several disappearances and other suspicious Digimon activity. Even my boyfriend Marcus reported earlier before this meeting that he and his Agumon at his side saw an evil Digimon. They were about to corner and talk to it when it disappeared in front of their eyes."
"They have been a lot rowdier than usual lately" Zhuqiaomon muttered "Yet they haven't left the Digital World as of late. It's as if something or someone is hiding them."
The rushing sound of feet sounded and Merukimon turned towards the door "Whose out there? We're in a meeting right now!"
"It's me, Merukimon and Hotaru sir" a boy's voice sounded.
"Thomas?" Sailor Sun inquired.
"Yes, it's him and me Kari!" came a female's voice.
"And it's urgent we speak to everyone of you!" Thomas's voice said "I believe I know what might be going on and you neither of you aren't going to like it."
Sailor Sun knew by experience by working with DATS a bit before she became whom she was that when Thomas picked up something it was a good idea to listen as she asks "Is Marcus with you two?"
"Present Kari!" came a third voice.
Sailor Sun spoke "Alright guards! Let them inside!"
The doors opened and five figures quickly walked inside. One of the figures was another Sailor Senshi, this one had black hair, the same color white shirt as Sailor Sun, her bowtie, gloves, and boots were purple. There was a blond haired boy wearing a Blue DATS outfit whom had a blue dog like Digimon with boxing gloves at his side. The last person that walked in was a brown haired boy wearing a red DATS uniform at his side was a yellow dinosaur like Digimon. These five were Sailor Saturn one of Sailor Sun's best friends, Thomas H Norstein with his Digimon Gaomon, and Marcus Damon her new boyfriend ever since TK's death with his Digimon Agumon. While both Agumon and Marcus looked serious they didn't look as much serious as Thomas, Gaomon, or Sailor Saturn.
"What's wrong?!" Sailor Sun asked sensing something was off.
Thomas began the report "Sun Goddess, I believe I know the reason why several evil Digimon have gone missing and as you are about to hear from Sailor Saturn here, it's not just Digimon."
Sailor Saturn took over "He's right, several criminal organizations on Earth are also strangely mobilizing… Get this even Sailor Galaxia!"
"WHAT?!" Sailor Sun demanded "Okay, that's odd. Last time I checked with Usagi-chan, Sailor Galaxia was attacking Tokyo with her minions. She just vanished?"
Sailor Saturn nodded "I know! It's weird! Again though it's not just her and Digimon."
Thomas pulled out a device showing several organizations on Earth were mobilizing too. It was then all of Sailor Sun's council gasped. Even Sailor Sun knew what might be the cost of this as she looked at everyone on her council even her most trusted Digimon partner all muttering one word "Virusmon!"
"Virus who?" Marcus asked scratching his head.
"Virusmon" the female angel Ophanimon explained "That can be the only reason why."
"Then we'll beat this Virusmon before she comes!" Marcus said.
"Marcus, for once use logical thinking-" Thomas began to suggest to his friend.
"Quiet Nerdstein! It's no time to think!"
"Marcus for once listen to Thomas!" Sailor Sun said which actually did shut Marcus up.
"Kari?" he asked.
"Sun Goddess or Sailor Sun right now" Gatomon advised Marcus "The Sun Goddess is in her worried mode now and rightfully so."
Sailor Saturn took notice of how worried her friend looked. This was the look Sailor Sun had when she first became a Sailor Senshi regaining her lost memories. No, Sailor Saturn knew it was worse than that. Sailor Sun looks at both Sailor Saturn and Thomas "Have these groups found a leader yet?"
"I'm sorry" Sailor Saturn admitted "But we can't confirm yes or no on that just yet."
"She's right" Thomas admitted "Now we can make a logical guess that they haven't just yet. Which maybe why these organizations are being very sneaky at this."
"What are we going to do?" Zhuqiaomon asked "Virusmon is far worse than any Digimon we've faced. I regret to say this but she's worse than humans!"
"There isn't a single one of us in this room that will disagree with that logic" the white long eared angel Cherubimon admitted.
Sailor Sun studies the information Thomas just gave her seeing some traces of these evil organizations. Sure she was certain she could fight Virusmon possibly even harming her but defeat her might be even a tall order "There's only one answer to Virusmon...The Guardian Digimon. Together with their help we should be able to stop her."
"There's a major problem with that one" Baihumon told her.
Sailor Sun was aware of the problem "I know."
"Plus you have to stay behind to make sure this world is protected" Gatomon reminded her "Plus DATS can't really help much if several organizations are in play too."
"Aware of that Gatomon" Sailor Sun replied getting up walked over to a hidden button and pressing it.
Upon pressing it five confidential folders appeared "Which is why secretly we've been planning for this, right Merukimon?"
Merukimon gave a slight embarrassed chuckle "Now that you mentioned it Sun Goddess, I was wondering why you were making me spy on five heroes and heroines on Earth. Now it makes since!"
Enbowumon thought on this issue "This just might work."
"How so?" Zhuqiaomon demanded knowing where Sailor Sun was going "It's bad enough that we used to rely on the Digidestened in the past. Yet we're just going to allow more humans to know this secret."
Azulongmon put a stop to Zhuqiaomon's comment "If the situation were something our Sun Goddesss could do with DATS' help we all know she would. This problem is bigger than the Digital World Zhuqiaomon. We have to take drastic measures!"
"I'd say we vote on this!" Zhuqiaomon demanded.
"Why don't I give you a punch to your face?" Marcus demanded "Sailor Sun should have the final say on things when it comes to protecting the Digital World! She shouldn't have to allow a vote on this matter!"
Surprisingly Sailor Sun spoke "Marcus is right on that one Zhuqiaomon. It's my duty to defend the Digital World through any means necessary. However, I'll allow a vote this once cause I am curious to know what everyone thinks on the matter."
"Ah that's why you are our Sun Goddess" Seraphimon concluded to Sailor Sun "You always seem to find the middle ground!"
Sailor Sun looked at the council and all those present in the room with her "Okay everyone in favor of going with the plan all say so!"
Everyone but Cherbimon and Zhuqiaomon replied "Ai!"
Sailor Sun took a mental note on this as she asks out "Against?"
Cheribimon and Zhuqiaomon replied although Zhuqiaomon tried to fool Sailor Sun by speaking out multiple "NO!"
Sailor Sun wasn't fooled as she counts this down mentally "The Ai's have it!"
Seraphimon raised a hammer as if he was a judge on the matter "With that the motion on putting our Sun Goddess's plan together is passed!"
Cheribimon and Zhuqiaomon shook their heads in disappointment with Zhuqiaomon muttering "I tried to fool her hoping she'd take those multiple nos"
"You did" Cheribimon admitted "Yet it passes and we have to do what was can to support her despite our lack of trusting other humans. I ain't becoming evil over this issue now that I know those villains are after Virusmon."
Sailor Sun smiled glad the vote passed with only two voting against it. She held up the confidential binders turning to Marcus, Sailor Saturn, and Thomas "Could I ask you three for a favor?"
"You can ask me anything Sailor Sun!" Marcus told her "Agumon and I will help!"
"You bet boss!" Agumon replied.
Sailor Saturn agreed "Anything to help you Sailor Sun! Count me in!"
"I'm sure I speak for Thomas, right sir?" Gaomon asked.
Thomas agreed with his partner "Indeed! Sun Goddess, you can ask us anything. We're here to help! What do we have to do?"
Sailor Sun gave the three the folders "Since I can't leave the Digital World at this time due to knowing what might be coming, I need you three to find the five people mentioned in these binders and bring them to the Digital World in my castle."
The three briefly looked in the binders to see the name and picture of the person they were looking for. There was also information on where they could mostly be found inside the binders too. As they were searching Sailor Sun smiled at the three giving them one extra command "Try to be truthful, inviting but also alarming. I don't want them to think as if you all are the bad guys as that might be bad on my part."
"Ah, that means I can't bring them to you by force!" Marcus complained.
"Where would that get you Marcus?" Thomas asked him "When has forcefully punching them mean friendly?"
"For once point taken Nerdstein!"
Thomas looked at Sailor Sun saluting her "The three of us will get onto it right away. We won't fail you!"
"Thanks!" Sailor Sun said to him sweetly.
Marcus, his Digimon Agumon, Sailor Saturn, Thomas and his Gaomon leave to fulfill Sailor Sun's orders.
When they had gone Gatomon sees a sixth confidential binder "Uh, Sun Goddess, you missed giving them the last one."
Sailor Sun let Gatomon open it and she sees the name on it now understanding it "Oh! You want it to be a surprise for her."
Sailor Sun winks at her partner "Yep!"
She turns to Cheribimon and Zhuqiaomon "I know you two have trouble with trusting other humans but know this, there is something I require you two to do too once those five humans are gathered if you are catching my drift."
Both Cheribimon and Zhuqiaomon knew where she was getting at and hid a small smirk. Perhaps this was her answer in letting them know they could trust these five humans.
End of Prologue
Longer than most prologues but it's done! The new Book 1 of Guardian Digimon has just started. For those that don't remember, I did Guardian Digimon way back but took it down, as I had to think on how to best reboot it due to the villain I choose to lead them. Now I have an OC villain that will take that spot. Look forward to Saturday when I post the first episode of Guardian Digimon Book one up. Next episode is Episode 1: Team Unites: The six selected humans have arrived but must prove themselves in a test. Will the group pass the test or will Sailor Sun be forced to select a new team?
A/N
A few questions I'll answer, and one of them you maybe thinking is why is Merukimon still alive? Shouldn't the events of Data Squad come to pass mean that Merukimon should be gone? Well in canon timeline that would still remain as fact, but in this timeline Kari/Sailor Sun/Sun Goddess is still alive and certainly wouldn't have allowed Kurata into the Digital World without her consistent as it's her duty to protect the Digital World as Sailor Sun not only from evil inside the Digital World but from also evil outside the Digital World. Besides, I think it works better for the fanfic if Merukimon is still alive as I like the idea of him playing head of Sailor Sun's royal guard. No opponent is going to want to mess with him on duty.
Second I should address Archaon the Everchosen, I know some of you are already thinking of seeing Archaon in Guardian Digimon just boost and 'help' his adopted son out. Well I'll answer that right now, that answer is no! I don't have any intentions on adding in Archaon as a villain in any of the Guardian Digimon books. Mainly for 2 reasons the first reason is although I like him as a character especially in Warhammer Total War III, I don't know much about Warhammer lore in general so I'm going to do my best not to add that into Guardian Digimon. The second reason is this is Chaosbringer's time to shine, and if Archaon were to show up, he'd only hog the spotlight pardon the pun. Besides Archaon has his hands full after all one that will bring the apocalypse to the world of Warhammer, should only focus on that task instead. So outside the prologue and certain flashbacks there is no plan of mine to add Archaon as a threat to the Guardian Seekers in any part of Guardian Digimon.
A third question you may all have is are there any Warhammer Characters I will add? Well, there is one Warhammer character that I will be bringing, I won't spoil the character's name, but I will give one hint to any Warhammer fans, that hint is a certain Scaven character. I look forward to seeing you all guess whom it maybe as well as wondering why Chaosbringer would be bringing that character along.
