Red Ribbon Army: Part 5
Korin's Sacred Land
Bora and Upa were sitting by a campfire in front of their tent. Bora was sharpening his spear while Upa was looking up towards the top of Korin Tower.
"Dad, do you think Goku and Ms. Gine managed to get the Sacred Water?" Upa asked.
"I don't know, Upa, but I hope they were successful in their task," Bora replied.
"Dad, don't you think we should hide? That assassin might come back at any time," Upa said, worried.
"You hide, because you know well that my duty is to protect this sacred valley no matter what," Bora told his son.
Upa replied to his father, "But Dad, you know you don't stand a chance against that assassin, Mercenary Tao. The last time you faced him, he almost killed you, and if it weren't for Ms. Gine, you'd be dead now."
"I know, Upa, but my duty is to protect this land even at the cost of my life," said Bora.
Just then, Upa and Bora saw something approaching in the sky, and it turned out to be Mercenary Tao, flying again on a pole, landing in front of Bora and Upa.
"Oh no, Dad, it's that assassin, Mercenary Tao," said Upa, scared.
"Get behind me, Upa!" Bora said, furious.
With a sinister smile, Mercenary Tao said to Bora, "I'll get straight to the point. Tell me where Goku, Gine, and the Dragon Balls are, and I'll spare your life and your son's."
Bora told his son, "Upa, run away from here!"
Upa started running, but Mercenary Tao was faster and caught him.
"Let me go, you scoundrel!" Upa said, trying to escape from Mercenary Tao's grip.
"Upa!" Bora shouted, worried about his son.
"If you want your son to stay alive, you'll tell me where that woman, her son, and the Dragon Balls are," said Mercenary Tao.
Bora felt helpless, knowing he could do nothing to save his son, and with Goku and Gine not returning, he decided to attack Mercenary Tao to save his son's life no matter what. But at that moment, Gine appeared, giving a strong blow to Mercenary Tao and saving Upa from the assassin mercenary.
Excited, Upa said, "Ms. Gine, what a joy to see you again! Where's Goku?"
"Here I am!" Goku shouted, descending at full speed.
Gine returned Upa to his father Bora, and Bora with a smile said to the Saiyan mother, "I'm glad you and Goku are here, Gine. Once again, I have to thank you for saving my son's life."
"No problem, now Goku will deal with that mercenary," said Gine.
"Your son? So, you managed to drink the Sacred Water?" asked Bora, amazed.
"That's right, and Goku alone will be able to defeat that assassin," Gine said.
"Get ready, Mercenary Tao, because this time I'll be your opponent," Goku said seriously.
"You again? Alright, get ready because I won't be as nice to you as before," said Mercenary Tao.
"Well, you won't be able to hurt me ever again, and this time I won't need my mom's help to finish you off," said Goku.
"Since that's the case, it won't take me even three seconds to eliminate you," Mercenary Tao replied.
Then Mercenary Tao launched an attack against Goku, but Goku dodged the attack from Mercenary Tao and delivered a strong kick that sent him crashing into Korin Tower.
"Damn brat, how did you get so strong?" said Mercenary Tao, furious.
"Heh. Well, my mom and I made it to the top of Korin Tower," Goku said with a defiant smile.
"Impossible! Does that mean you and your mother drank the ultra sacred water?" said Mercenary Tao, perplexed.
"That's right, you know about it, right?" said Goku.
Mercenary Tao, serious, said to himself, "I see, no wonder he became so strong. I thought it was a legend, but it seems it's true."
"Amazing, Goku has indeed become strong," said Upa, astonished.
"Goku is undoubtedly impressive," said Bora.
Meanwhile, Gine just watched the fight, determined not to intervene this time since Goku had to get stronger and learn to fight his own battles no matter what.
"I see you've become very strong, but you better fight with all your strength, or you'll regret it," said Mercenary Tao, furious.
"What are you waiting for? Do you plan to keep talking all day?" said Goku.
Mercenary Tao got enraged and said, "Foolish brat! Now you'll see!"
Then Goku and Mercenary Tao began to exchange blows at high speed, and then Goku delivered a flying kick to Mercenary Tao's face. After that, Goku and Mercenary Tao leaped into the air to continue exchanging punches. Mercenary Tao managed to land a strong blow on Goku, sending him crashing into Korin Tower.
"Goku, watch out!" Gine shouted.
But Goku reacted in time and jumped from Korin Tower towards Mercenary Tao to strike him, but Mercenary Tao dodged, and Goku ended up crashing into a tree.
"Goku, concentrate!" said Gine, serious.
Goku, in pain, said, "That hurt."
Gine, serious, told her son, "Be careful, Goku! Overconfidence can be fatal for a warrior."
Goku nodded and said, "Yes, mom. As you say."
Then Goku delivered a tremendous blow to Mercenary Tao, sending him flying. Goku then leaped high and hit Mercenary Tao again, causing the mercenary to crash into the ground, which tore Mercenary Tao's clothes to shreds.
Mercenary Tao, furious, stood up and said, "You've ruined my clothes again, you damn brat. Now I'll use my Dodon Ray on you."
"Go ahead! You'll see how I'll take your attack and come out unscathed," said Goku.
Even though Goku said he would receive Mercenary Tao's attack, Gine was calm because she knew perfectly well that Goku could withstand it. Then Mercenary Tao launched his Dodon Ray at Goku, who received it, and to Mercenary Tao's amazement, Goku managed to repel the attack with his hands, though he ended up burning his palms.
"Well done, Goku! But you still need much more training to repel attacks like that, so from now on, it's best if you dodge them," said Gine.
Goku, somewhat in pain, nodded and said, "Yes, mom," while blowing on his hands due to the burns.
Mercenary Tao was horrified that Goku could easily repel his best attack, then he took out a Hoi-Poi Capsule, which he detonated, revealing a sword with which he tried to attack Goku.
Mercenary Tao, furious, said, "Die, you damned brat!"
Gine threw her sacred staff to her son, saying, "Goku, catch."
Goku used the sacred staff to break Mercenary Tao's sword to the astonishment of the evil assassin.
"What? Impossible," said Mercenary Tao, perplexed. Then Mercenary Tao looked towards the top of Korin Tower and said to himself, "Maybe if I drink the sacred water like this brat did, I'll get stronger too."
"What are you thinking so much about? Aren't you going to attack?" said Goku, serious.
Mercenary Tao with a sinister smile said, "Your luck ends here, brat."
Gine, confused, wondered to herself, "What does he plan to do?"
Then Mercenary Tao kicked a stone which Goku dodged, but suddenly Goku realized the stone was heading towards Bora and his son Upa.
"Watch out!" Goku shouted, alarmed.
But Gine reacted in time and caught the stone to prevent it from hitting Bora and his son.
Goku, furious and indignant, told Mercenary Tao, "You're a coward!"
Then Goku, Gine, Bora, and Upa saw that Mercenary Tao took advantage of the distraction to climb Korin Tower at full speed.
"He's climbing the sacred Korin Tower, if he drinks the sacred water, we're doomed," said Bora, alarmed.
Gine, with a smile, said, "Don't worry, Bora, we'll let him go, for when he reaches the top, he'll be in for a bitter surprise that things aren't what he thought."
Bora and Upa were amazed by what the Saiyan mother said, but Goku and Gine explained everything about Master Korin and the training they had undergone, and how the "ultra sacred water" at the top of the tower was nothing more than plain water.
"I understand, so when you reach the top of Korin Tower, all you get from the hermit Korin is training where you try to take the ultra sacred water, which is actually just plain water, right?" said Bora.
"Basically, yes, but Master Korin only trains good and just people who are worthy of his training, which obviously won't be the case with Mercenary Tao," said Gine.
"Then I guess there's nothing to worry about," said Upa.
"Exactly, and like my mom said, Master Korin will never agree to train that vile assassin," said Goku.
Gine, with a smile, concluded, "In conclusion: Mercenary Tao will go for wool but come back shorn."
While Mercenary Tao was climbing Korin Tower running, Goku and Gine started to train, having light sparring matches since Gine wanted her son not to rest on his laurels but to get stronger and surpass her to become the Saiyan warrior he was destined to be. However, Goku and Gine also spent time eating with Bora and Upa. Bora taught Goku and Gine how to make spears, and Gine learned weaving. Both Saiyans helped Bora hunt and fish, then Goku and Gine had fun playing in the river, and when night fell, they slept in a tent Bora had prepared for them, following the basic principles of the Turtle School taught by Master Roshi:
"You must work, study, eat, rest, and also play."
Meanwhile, Mercenary Tao reached the top of Korin Tower where he found the temple. Once there, he opened a water jug where he saw all the innocent people he had killed, and Master Korin confronted him for all the innocents he murdered. Mercenary Tao demanded to drink the sacred water from Master Korin, but the master used his cunning to give him plain water instead. When Mercenary Tao attacked one of the temple's sacred columns, Master Korin used his powers to make it fall, making Tao believe he had brought it down with his own strength. Then Master Korin summoned the Dark Cloud, the counterpart to the Flying Nimbus, which transports people with impure hearts, ensuring Tao wouldn't gain strength or power by descending from Korin Tower. Just when the Dark Cloud was carrying Mercenary Tao, a few dozen meters from the ground, Master Korin made the cloud drop him, letting him fall to the ground to the astonished gaze of Goku, Gine, Bora, and Upa.
Mercenary Tao, furious, said, "Lying cat! You'll pay for this!"
Gine mocked the mercenary assassin and said, "As expected, Master Korin didn't consider a vile assassin like you worthy of his training."
Goku, with a smile, said, "Mercenary Tao, I see you were quick, but don't rush. Why not take a rest?"
Mercenary Tao, furious, replied, "I don't need rest to finish off a brat like you, now I'll show you the power of the sacred water."
Gine, with a smile, told her son, "Goku, he's all yours."
"Yes, mom," said Goku, full of determination.
Then Mercenary Tao attacked Goku and managed to land a tremendous punch that sent him flying through the air. Mercenary Tao then made a huge leap and struck Goku hard, crashing him into the ground.
"Goku!" Upa said, anguished, "Ms. Gine, do something, that man will kill your son."
But Gine just watched everything with a serious expression, her bangs covering her eyes.
Mercenary Tao, with a sinister smile, said, "Now I'll finish you off, brat, and then your mom." Then Mercenary Tao leaped to deliver a powerful knee strike to Goku and mocked, "Finally, I've beaten you. This is so you feel the hatred of a professional assassin."
"Goku, no! Ms. Gine, why didn't you do anything to save your son?" Upa replied, upset and indignant at the Saiyan mother.
But Gine only kept silent, observing everything with her hair covering her eyes.
But Bora put a hand on his son's shoulder and said, "Upa, just watch."
Mercenary Tao laughed, thinking he had secured his victory over the Saiyan child, but Goku stood up and brushed off the dust, saying, "You're good, you really surprised me."
Mercenary Tao was horrified that Goku was still alive and said, "Kid... you're definitely not human."
"It's incredible! Goku's alive!" said Upa.
Goku, with a confident smile, said, "I studied all your moves, now it's my turn to attack."
Bora told Gine, "Looks like you knew those hits wouldn't harm Goku, that's why you didn't intervene, right?"
Gine nodded with a confident smile and then raised her fist at her son, saying, "Very good, Goku, now finish him off."
Then Goku launched himself at Mercenary Tao, delivering a flurry of blows, and with a kick, he managed to knock out one of Mercenary Tao's teeth while Master Korin watched everything from his tower through his water jug, proud of the power his disciple had achieved.
Master Korin said, "That's the way, boy."
Mercenary Tao could barely stand due to the pain, and in his mind, he said, "This kid is too powerful and fast; I can't face him. There's only one thing I can do." Then Mercenary Tao got on his knees and said, "Please, forgive me. I recognize that I've been very bad. Have mercy on me."
Gine, like her son, had a good heart, but unlike him, she could perfectly identify when someone wasn't being honest. With a serious expression, she told her son, "Goku, don't let your guard down because that Mercenary Tao isn't being sincere with his words."
Goku, furious, told the mercenary assassin, "You only seek your own benefit. Tell me, how many innocent people begged you not to kill them, and you showed no mercy?"
Mercenary Tao, furious, said, "Damn kid! I won't let you have the pleasure of finishing me off."
Then Mercenary Tao pulled out a grenade and threw it towards Bora and Upa to distract Goku and give himself a chance to escape with a jump, but Goku reacted in time and threw the grenade back at Mercenary Tao, which exploded, making the mercenary assassin disappear.
"That's how you do it, Goku!" said Gine, happy and excited about her son's victory.
Bora told Gine, "Amazing, there's no doubt your son is destined to become a powerful warrior."
Gine, with a smile, said, "Thank you very much."
"Very good, Goku," said Upa, happy.
Meanwhile, at the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters:
Chief of Staff Black said, "Commander Red, the transponders Mercenary Tao was carrying have stopped sending signals to our computer."
Commander Red asked, "What does that mean?"
"His mission is complete," said Chief of Staff Black.
Commander Red, with a sinister smile, said, "Excellent!"
Back with Goku and Gine:
Goku and Gine were looking at the Dragon Radar and saw that two Dragon Balls were gathered in one place.
Goku told Gine, "Mom, I think these two Dragon Balls are at the Red Ribbon Army's main base, and if we get them, we'll have six in total."
Gine told her son, "That's right, but to get them, we'll have to assault the Red Ribbon Army's Headquarters."
Bora told Goku and Gine, "Well, in that case, I wish you the best of luck and be very careful because defeating the Red Ribbon Army won't be easy."
"That's right, since the Red Ribbon Army is a powerful criminal organization with many armed soldiers, and they're very strong," said Upa.
Goku, with a smile, said, "Don't worry because if my mom and I combine our forces, I'm sure we'll defeat these scoundrels from the Red Ribbon Army, right, mom?"
Gine nodded with a smile and said, "That's right, Goku, and in the process, we'll rid the world of those scum from the Red Ribbon Army and save countless innocents who could become their victims."
"Be very careful," said Upa.
"I'll pray for your success," said Bora.
"Thank you. Alright, Goku, we have an army of villains to defeat. Are you ready?" said Gine.
"I'm more than ready," said Goku, full of determination.
Then Goku called for his Flying Nimbus, and both he and Gine got on it, waving goodbye to Bora and his son Upa, and the two Saiyans set off towards the decisive battle against the Red Ribbon Army.
Meanwhile, back at the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters:
Chief of Staff Black said, "Commander Red, the Dragon Radar indicates that Mercenary Tao is returning to the base with the four Dragon Balls."
Commander Red, with a sinister smile, said, "Excellent, it's only a matter of time before we have the Dragon Balls to rule the entire world."
What the Red Ribbon Army didn't imagine was that it was actually Goku and Gine coming to put an end to their sinister plans.
Back with Goku and Gine:
Goku and Gine were flying at full speed on the Flying Nimbus when suddenly a mysterious object came flying at high speed and started flying alongside them.
Goku, astonished, asked, "Look, mom, what is that?"
Gine took a closer look at the mysterious object and told her son, "It seems to be some kind of Drone."
Goku, confused, asked, "Drone?"
Gine responded to her son, "It's like a mini-ship with an integrated video camera that transmits images remotely, and looking at it closely, it seems to be Bulma's work since it bears the Capsule Corporation logo."
"Is it really Bulma's? Hi, Bulma! Hi, everyone!" said Goku, waving at the camera with a big smile while Gine did the same.
Meanwhile, at Kame House, Bulma, Krillin, Launch, and Master Roshi were happy to have finally located Goku and Gine. Then the drone Bulma sent accelerated towards the location of the Red Ribbon Army, and there Bulma discovered that indeed Goku and Gine planned to attack the Red Ribbon Army's main base. So, Bulma used her cell phone to call her house to get in touch with Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar to bring a ship to help Goku and Gine attack the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters, and meanwhile, Goku and Gine were getting closer and closer to the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters.
Goku told Gine, "You know, mom? I know this will be very dangerous, but I can't help feeling a great excitement flowing through all my veins for the battle we're about to have."
Gine, with a smile, told her son, "I know, honey, I'm also excited about this battle, but don't stray from me, remember we're doing this together. Got it?"
Goku nodded with a smile and said, "Yes, mom."
Gine said to herself with a smile, "Goku, you're so much like your father, not just in looks but you've also inherited his warrior spirit and passion for fighting."
As Goku and Gine flew on the Flying Nimbus towards the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters, they flew over snowy mountains with blizzards, then over a vast lake surrounded by forests and green meadows until Goku and Gine finally spotted the headquarters of the feared Red Ribbon Army.
Goku, with a smile full of determination, said, "There's the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters, mom! Now you and I will destroy it together!" as he took out his sacred staff.
Gine, with a smile full of determination, told her son, "Well said, Goku!"
Meanwhile, at the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters:
Chief of Staff Black said, "Commander Red, the defense systems are disabled for Mercenary Tao's arrival."
Commander Red said, "Perfect, now I'll have four Dragon Balls at once. Have all the soldiers ready to receive Mercenary Tao."
"Yes, sir," said Chief of Staff Black.
Meanwhile, the Red Ribbon Army sent a ship to receive Mercenary Tao.
"Pilot Number 84, be ready to receive Mercenary Tao," said Chief of Staff Black.
"Yes, sir," said the Red Ribbon Army pilot.
However, Pilot Number 84 was greatly surprised when he saw that it was Goku and Gine approaching, not Mercenary Tao.
"AAAAHHHH! It can't be! That's not Mercenary Tao, it's that kid and his mother," said the pilot, alarmed.
"What? It can't be," said Commander Red.
Pilot 84: "It's true, Commander Red, you have to see it on the computer. AAAAHHHH!" Then an explosion was heard along with a loud scream because Gine destroyed the fighter jet along with Pilot 84 with a blast of Ki.
Through the computer, Commander Red and Chief of Staff Black could see that indeed it was Goku and Gine approaching at full speed.
Chief of Staff Black, totally astonished, said, "It can't be, that means even the legendary assassin, Mercenary Tao, couldn't stand up to that woman and her son."
Commander Red, totally furious, said, "Damn it! Activate the defense systems and sound the red alert at the base."
Meanwhile, Goku and Gine:
"Looks like the Red Ribbon Army is aware of our presence," said Gine.
"That's right, mom," said Goku.
Then from the ground, turrets emerged, starting to fire bombs and missiles at Goku and Gine who were flying on the Flying Nimbus. So, Gine decided to fly independently and began destroying all the missiles and each turret with Ki blasts while Goku deflected the shots from the Red Ribbon Army's ships with his sacred staff, then destroying them until Goku and Gine finally managed to land inside the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters.
Commander Red, totally furious, said, "Don't let that damned woman and her bastard son advance towards our base!"
One of the Red Ribbon Army soldiers said, "Commander Red, that woman and her son are already inside our base; they're now on the west terrace."
Commander Red, totally furious, said, "What?! Officer Black, order all soldiers to stop that woman and her son at all costs!"
Chief of Staff Black nodded and said, "Yes, sir."
Meanwhile, throughout the Red Ribbon Army base, an announcement was made over the loudspeakers: "To all battalions, be advised that the woman, Son Gine, and her son, Son Goku, have infiltrated our base. You are ordered to stop them at all costs and by any means necessary."
Gine, with a smile, said, "Alright, Goku, let the party begin."
Goku, with a smile, said, "This will be fun."
Then Goku and Gine began to repel and catch the bullets that the Red Ribbon Army soldiers were firing at them. A soldier fired a bazooka at Goku, but Goku easily dodged the shot and easily knocked out the soldier who fired it. Then a sniper shot at Goku, but Gine caught the bullet in time to prevent it from harming her son.
"Thanks, mom," said Goku.
"You're welcome, son, but you need to train your reflexes more," said Gine.
"Yes, mom," said Goku.
At that moment, Goku and Gine encountered a beautiful woman with violet hair wearing a Red Ribbon Army military uniform, who held a weapon in her hand while chewing gum.
"Who are you?" Gine asked seriously.
"I'm Colonel Violet of the Red Ribbon Army," said Colonel Violet.
Goku, serious, said, "I suppose you came to stop us, didn't you?"
Colonel Violet simply put away her weapon with a smile, chewing her gum, and made a gesture for both Saiyans to continue on their way, saying, "Carry on with your business, as I no longer care about the Red Ribbon Army."
Gine, totally astonished, asked, "What? You're not going to stop us?"
Colonel Violet, with a smile, said, "That's right, since it's clear this will be the end of the Red Ribbon Army, so if you want to go for the Dragon Balls that Commander Red has in his possession, go ahead. I'll just take advantage of this chaos to loot all the money and valuable jewels that the Red Ribbon Army has in their vault."
Then Colonel Violet left Goku and Gine behind and ran towards the Red Ribbon Army's vault, while Goku and Gine simply looked at each other, confused, and continued on their way. Meanwhile, Commander Red and Officer Black watched in horror on the screens as Goku and Gine easily defeated all the soldiers of the Red Ribbon Army.
Officer Black said, "Commander Red, it would be best to seek shelter."
Commander Red, totally furious, said, "I refuse to hide from that damned woman and her bastard son."
Officer Black said, "Commander Red, I remind you that this woman and her son easily defeated our most important leaders and military officers, and above all, the powerful assassin, Mercenary Tao."
Commander Red, with a voice of helplessness, said, "How can this be possible? The mighty Red Ribbon Army is supposed to be invincible."
A soldier said, "Commander Red, we've already lost half of our soldiers, and the woman and her son are approaching the eighth wing."
Commander Red, totally furious, said, "Damn it! We must flee to the eighth wing and secure our Dragon Balls at all costs."
Meanwhile, Goku and Gine were easily destroying all the flying vehicles, armored units, and soldiers of the Red Ribbon Army. Commander Red reached his office in the eighth wing accompanied by Chief of Staff Black.
Commander Red approached the two Dragon Balls he had, which were the Six-Star and Seven-Star Balls, and said, "The Dragon Balls are mine; I'll never give them to that damned woman and her bastard son."
Chief of Staff Black said, "However, the situation isn't so favorable. That woman Gine, and her son Goku, are unimaginably powerful. Moreover, when we sent our best men like Colonel Silver, General White, General Blue, and Captain Yellow, they defeated them all, along with their soldiers, without any difficulty."
Meanwhile, Goku and Gine continued to easily defeat all the Red Ribbon Army soldiers who stood in their way until, following the Dragon Radar's indications, they finally managed to reach the Eighth Wing.
"Weird, there are no stairs here, well, no choice but to go through the ceiling," said Goku.
Then Goku and Gine made a hole in the ceiling and reached the next floor where they started attacking all the soldiers present, while Commander Red and Chief of Staff Black watched everything through their security cameras.
"That damned woman and her bastard son don't even know how to use a simple elevator. How can a woman and a child with such a mentality be capable of destroying the mighty Red Ribbon Army?!" exclaimed Commander Red, furious.
Then Goku and Gine reached the next floor where they began easily defeating all the remaining soldiers protecting Commander Red and Chief of Staff Black.
"We have to do something. Black, find some member of our Red Ribbon Army who can defeat that woman and her son," said Commander Red.
Then Commander Red saw Colonel Violet running through the corridors.
"It's Colonel Violet; I'm sure she could easily defeat that woman and her son," said Commander Red.
But to his great surprise, both Commander Red and Officer Black saw that Colonel Violet dynamited the Red Ribbon Army's vault to steal all the income and money of the Red Ribbon Army before fleeing in a ship she summoned from a Hoi-Poi Capsule.
"That damned traitor," said Commander Red, furious.
Chief of Staff Black said, "Commander Red, I regret to inform you that the remaining soldiers are starting to flee."
Commander Red, furious, said, "What? Then tell the soldiers to hold their positions because if they don't, they'll die."
Officer Black did as Commander Red ordered, but it was to no avail since the surviving Red Ribbon Army soldiers realized they had no chance against Goku and Gine, and most ended up fleeing while others simply hid, waiting for the danger to pass.
Meanwhile, on the floor below, Goku tried to break through the armored ceiling with his head, but Gine stopped him in time, saying, "Wait, Goku, look at this." Then Gine gave a light punch which barely dented it, and she told her son, "See? This ceiling is armored with reinforced steel, and the punch I gave, though it doesn't seem like it, was as strong as the headbutt you were going to give the ceiling, so all you would have done is hurt yourself."
"Wow, mom, you're really smart and observant," said Goku with a smile.
Gine told her son, "Thank you, Goku, but that's something I want you to learn as well."
Goku said, "Alright, in that case, both of us will use a powerful Kamehameha to destroy the ceiling and reach where the Dragon Balls are that the Red Ribbon Army has."
Gine nodded and said, "Well thought, Goku."
Then both Goku and Gine began to prepare a powerful Kamehameha.
Then Commander Red, who was watching everything through the security cameras, said, "It's unbelievable that our remaining soldiers have fled because of a woman and a child."
Chief of Staff Black said, "Commander Red, I think we realized too late the power of that Gine and her son Goku. If we had known how powerful that woman and her son were, we would have asked Dr. Maki Gero to make a weapon powerful enough to defeat that woman and her son."
Commander Red, astonished, asked, "Dr. Maki Gero? The Red Ribbon Army's best scientist? Damn! Why didn't we think of that before?"
Then Commander Red and Chief of Staff Black were taken by surprise by the two Kamehamehas from Goku and Gine, which destroyed the armored ceiling, then went through the floor of the office they were in, and finally destroyed the roof of the Eighth Wing Tower.
Commander Red, alarmed, said, "No way, they're here already."
Then Goku and Gine leaped into the office to confront Commander Red and Chief of Staff Black face to face.
Gine, serious, said, "You must be the leaders of the Red Ribbon Army. You'd better surrender since most of your soldiers are dead, and the ones left have either fled or are hiding, so you're on your own now."
"That's right," said Goku.
Commander Red said, "Black, deal with them."
Officer Black was reluctant to attack Goku and Gine but followed his commander's orders, only for Goku to knock him out the window with a single punch.
Gine, with her arms crossed and serious, said, "It would be better if you hand over the Dragon Balls you have peacefully and give up that crazy idea of world domination if you want to keep living."
Commander Red, furious, said, "I'll never give them up; I need them to fulfill my dream of being tall. You don't know how terrible and humiliating it has been for me to be short my whole life. When I was a child, I was always mocked by other kids saying I looked like a kid with an adult's face."
Goku and Gine were astonished and wide-eyed at what Commander Red said.
Gine, perplexed, said, "So, that's why you want the Dragon Balls? Just to be tall? So you sent your army of killers to cause destruction in various places around the world and murder a bunch of innocent people just to get the Dragon Balls for your height?"
Commander Red, serious, nodded and said, "That's right, you can't rule the world without an imposing image."
Then Chief of Staff Black, totally furious, appeared at the window because he had been hanging from the edge and had heard everything Commander Red said. Then Chief of Staff Black, furious, confronted his superior, saying, "Is this for real, Commander Red? Was this the effort and sacrifice of so many Red Ribbon Army soldiers to get the Dragon Balls? Just for your stupid desire to be tall?"
Commander Red replied, "Well, yes. Any problem with that, Officer Black? Do you forget that I am the Commander and leader of the Red Ribbon Army? Therefore, here, what I say goes."
Then Chief of Staff Black pulled out his gun and shot Commander Red in the head, killing him, to the astonished gaze of Goku and Gine, then said, "You don't deserve to be the Commander of the great Red Ribbon Army. From now on, I will be the new Commander, and I will take charge of rebuilding the Red Ribbon Army."
"Incredible! He killed his own boss," said Goku, astonished.
Gine, serious, told her son, "He had it coming, Goku, since he used his followers for a simple selfish whim."
Then Commander Black told Gine, "Madam, you and your son should join me to rebuild the Red Ribbon Army together. Just think, together we can rule the world, and you can have countless riches, secure your son's future, and he can have a harem with all the women he wants."
Gine was both annoyed and horrified at such a proposition from Commander Black and said, "My son and I will never join your dirty plans."
"My mom is right, and I won't let you and your army of killers keep harming innocent people," said Goku, upset.
"As you wish, you've just lost the opportunity of a lifetime," replied Commander Black, upset. Then Commander Black took out a Hoi-Poi Capsule from which emerged a massive mechanical suit, into which he climbed. Then Commander Black said, "Now I'll finish you off."
Commander Black then grabbed Goku and Gine with his mechanical suit and threw them out of the tower. He then aimed at Goku and Gine and fired a powerful shot, causing a massive explosion.
Commander Black was happy and began to celebrate, saying, "I did it! I finally defeated that damned woman and her bastard son, though it's a shame that the Dragon Balls they had were disintegrated."
But what Commander Black didn't count on was that Goku and Gine were standing on top of another tower, laughing at Commander Black for thinking he had destroyed them with such a simple attack.
Goku told Gine, "Hey mom, that guy thinks he destroyed us with that simple attack. What do you say, mom? Shall we ruin his celebration?"
Gine, with a smile, told her son, "I think that's a good idea, Goku."
Then Goku and Gine positioned themselves on top of the capsule of Commander Black's mechanical suit, and to Commander Black's great surprise, he saw that Goku and Gine were still alive and were childishly mocking him by sticking out their tongues.
"What? No way!" said Commander Black, perplexed. He tried to hit the capsule of his cockpit, but Goku and Gine easily dodged his punch, which ended up destroying the cockpit of Commander Black's suit, causing him to lose a tooth while Goku and Gine landed on the roof of one of the base's buildings.
Goku laughed, saying, "Hahaha, what a klutz."
Gine, seriously, told Commander Black, "I suggest you surrender since you're no match for us."
Commander Black, totally furious, said, "What persistent woman and child. Now I'll finish them off once and for all."
Then Commander Black fired a powerful missile at Goku and Gine, but Gine quickly flew towards the missile and managed to divert it towards a mountain, which, upon impact, destroyed half of it.
Goku, totally astonished, said, "Incredible! It almost destroyed the entire mountain."
Gine, equally astonished, said to herself, "Despite being a primitive race without many powers, humans have the ability to create weaponry with high destructive power. It's better to finish this guy off before he causes more destruction."
Commander Black, totally furious, said, "Damn it! I'll have to escape, but this won't end here."
Goku, upset, said, "Mom, that guy wants to escape; we can't allow it. I'll finish him off myself."
Gine nodded and said, "Alright."
Then Gine grabbed her son and took off towards Commander Black, who was trying to escape in his mechanical suit.
"Don't think we'll let you escape," said Goku, furious.
"Oh no, that woman and her son are following me," said Commander Black, scared.
Gine asked her son, "Ready, Goku?"
Goku responded, "Yes, mom."
Then Gine propelled Goku with her hands, sending him shooting towards Commander Black's mechanical suit, and with one punch, Goku easily pierced through the suit.
Commander Black, alarmed, said, "No! This can't be the end of the mighty Red Ribbon Army."
With those last words from Commander Black, his mechanical suit short-circuited due to Goku's attack, causing it to explode in the air, thus ending the life of Commander Black and the last leader of the once mighty Red Ribbon Army. Goku fell after his attack but was caught by Gine.
Gine, with a smile, told her son, "Good job, Goku. Now the Red Ribbon Army is history."
Goku nodded with a smile and said, "That's right, mom, and we did it together."
Gine hugged her son and said, "Goku, you could have destroyed the Red Ribbon Army's base by yourself. I just decided to help you to see your progress, and I must say you've become very strong, but you still have much to improve. Don't worry, you'll achieve that with a lot of effort and training."
Goku, with a smile full of determination, told Gine, "Yes, mom! Thank you so much, mom."
Gine told her son, "Once we return to our house on Paoz Mountain, I'll teach you how to fly."
Goku, happy and excited, asked, "Really, you'll teach me to fly?"
Gine nodded with a smile and told her son, "That's right, Goku."
Then Goku and Gine returned to the Red Ribbon Army base to take the Six-Star and Seven-Star Dragon Balls.
Goku told Gine, "Alright, mom, now we just need to locate one more Dragon Ball."
"That's right, Goku. Now I'll use the Dragon Radar to locate the last Dragon Ball," said Gine. Then Gine turned on the Dragon Radar to try and locate the last Dragon Ball, but to her great surprise, the radar didn't show the location of the last Dragon Ball no matter how hard she tried.
"Is something wrong, mom?" Goku asked.
"It can't be, it seems the Dragon Radar has broken down again," said Gine.
"Well, we'll have to find Bulma to try and fix it," said Goku.
Then Goku called for his Flying Nimbus, and both he and Gine got on it to fly out of the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters, which was almost empty except for a few Red Ribbon Army soldiers who were hiding.
While flying on the Flying Nimbus, Goku and Gine heard familiar voices from below, and they saw their friends Bulma, Krillin, Yamcha, Launch, Master Roshi, Oolong, Puar, and Turtle Urigame waving at them.
"Look, mom, it's our friends," said Goku, happy and excited.
"That's right," said Gine, equally happy and excited.
Then Goku and Gine made the Flying Nimbus descend to meet their friends.
"Friends, what brings you here?" Goku asked, happy.
"What do you mean what brings us here? We heard you and your mom decided to do the crazy thing of attacking the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters, so we came here to help," said Bulma.
"Gine, it's good that you and Goku spotted us in time before you could stop," said Yamcha.
Master Roshi, serious, told both Saiyans, "Thank God we arrived in time before you two committed the folly of attacking the Red Ribbon Army's headquarters."
Goku with a smile said, "Well, we really appreciate your help and concern, friends, but to tell the truth, my mom and I already defeated the Red Ribbon Army and destroyed all their leaders."
"That's right," said Gine.
"What?!" they all said at once, astonished.
Then Yamcha sent Puar to explore the Red Ribbon Army base, and once he did, he confirmed that indeed the base had been attacked and left desolate by Goku and Gine, and Puar returned to confirm what Goku and Gine had said.
"It can't be, kid, does that mean you and your mom are practically invincible?" said Master Roshi, astonished.
Krillin, astonished, said, "But we saw Red Ribbon Army soldiers not long ago."
Gine responded, "They must have been the soldiers who fled when they saw they couldn't face me and Goku since many of them ran away when Goku and I attacked the base."
"Not even the police could stand up to the Red Ribbon Army," said Bulma, astonished.
Then Goku and Gine told Master Roshi how they climbed Korin Tower to drink the sacred water, which amazed Master Roshi.
"Goku, Gine, it's incredible that you met Master Korin and were able to drink the sacred water in three days when it took me three years," said Master Roshi, astonished.
Then Goku and Gine told Bulma that the Dragon Radar was broken again and asked her to please fix it, but Bulma said they would have to return to Kame House to repair the Dragon Radar. So, Goku and Gine boarded Yamcha's ship with their friends, and Gine explained to their friends in detail everything that happened in the battle against the Red Ribbon Army. Shortly after Goku, Gine, and their friends left, the police, through sources from the King of Nations' Intelligence Service, learned what had happened with the Red Ribbon Army, and immediately, the police, the army, and the press moved to the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters to see what had transpired.
"Wow, Gine, there's no doubt you and Goku are getting stronger," said Bulma.
"That's right, and I would even dare to say you're stronger than me," said Master Roshi.
Gine, with a smile, said, "That's right, Master Roshi, but let me tell you that Goku has the potential to become stronger than me."
"I couldn't agree more with you, Gine," said Master Roshi.
Meanwhile, Bulma was checking social media on her phone and was in for a big surprise: "Hey, Gine, look, it turns out the whole world now knows that you and Goku defeated the Red Ribbon Army."
Yamcha, astonished, said, "How come, Bulma, if only we knew about the attack Goku and Gine made on the Red Ribbon Army's headquarters?"
Bulma said, "Well, obviously, the police and the army, through their intelligence sources, found out everything, and the press made it public."
What Bulma said surprised everyone, and she showed on her phone that indeed, shortly after they left, the police, the army, and the press were at the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters. The police and the army were looking for and capturing the surviving Red Ribbon Army soldiers, while the press managed to access the security camera footage from the Red Ribbon Army's headquarters, clearly showing how Goku and Gine easily defeated the Red Ribbon Army, and everyone knew who they were because Goku and Gine had been finalists in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament.
Krillin, astonished, said, "Gine, it looks like you and Goku are now recognized heroes worldwide."
Gine, confused, asked, "Heroes?"
Yamcha said, "Yes, Gine, since the Red Ribbon Army was the world's largest criminal organization, causing destruction in various places around the world and killing many innocent people, causing great suffering to many innocent people, and the police and authorities could never stand up to them, now the whole world will be grateful to both you and Goku for ending the Red Ribbon Army's days of terror."
Bulma, with a smile and a teasing tone, said, "Hey, Gine, there are many admirers on social media saying you're a very attractive girl and asking if you're single, and it turns out Goku has also gained many admirers who are asking about him and saying you'll be his future mother-in-law."
Bulma showed her phone to Gine, and Gine saw comments from men saying: "Gine, you're so beautiful, marry me!" "Gine is a powerful, beautiful, and sexy warrior; I wish she would be my wife!" Then Gine saw all sorts of comments from teenage girls praising Goku and showing their admiration for him, saying: "Goku is so cute and sweet despite being so short. I'd love to be his girlfriend. Goku asked innocently, "Hey, mom, what do those girls say about me in the comments?"
Gine, uncomfortable with a big sweat drop, told her son, "Nothing you need to know, Goku."
Goku responded, "Okay, mom, if you say so."
Oolong felt jealous of Goku seeing that he now had admirers, and he said to himself, "That Goku is one lucky bastard."
Meanwhile, in Jingle Village:
Suno was sitting in the living room of her house playing with the wooden doll Goku gave her while her parents, Alexander and Sofia, and Eighter were sitting on the couch watching a program on TV when suddenly the program was interrupted by breaking news.
"We interrupt this program to bring you important breaking news: The days of terror from the world's largest and most feared criminal organization known as the Red Ribbon Army have come to an end. This is because the fighters Son Gine and her son Son Goku, famous for being finalists in the last World Martial Arts Tournament and for Goku transforming into a giant ape in the final of said tournament, have attacked the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters and easily defeated the entire Red Ribbon Army, killing their most important leaders, thus ending the days of the fearsome criminal organization. The motives that led Mrs. Gine and her son to destroy the Red Ribbon Army are unknown, as it is only known that after defeating the Red Ribbon Army, both Mrs. Gine and her son Goku left the scene to an unknown destination. Currently, the police and the army are mobilizing their forces to capture the surviving soldiers and members of the Red Ribbon Army to bring them to justice. The King of Nations has already expressed his total gratitude to Gine and her son Goku for defeating the Red Ribbon Army, and we will now show you some images taken from the security cameras of the Red Ribbon Army's headquarters where you can observe how easily Mrs. Gine and her son Goku defeated the Red Ribbon Army."
Then Suno and her parents, Alexander and Sofia, and Eighter watched in amazement on the TV as Goku and Gine defeated the Red Ribbon Army, how they easily deflected the shots and bullets from the soldiers, and how they destroyed the Red Ribbon Army's weaponry with ease.
Suno, totally happy and blushing, said, "Well done, Goku, I knew you could do it."
Alexander, totally astonished, said, "Incredible! There's no doubt that Goku and Gine are very powerful warriors."
Sofia said, "That's right, and I'm glad we will finally have peace and tranquility now that the Red Ribbon Army no longer exists."
Suno, happy and blushing, said, "I always knew Goku had something special."
Eighter, with a smile, said, "What makes me happiest is that Goku and his mom are okay."
Sofia said, "I feel the same, Eighter."
Suno looked at the wooden doll Goku gave her and said in her thoughts with a smile, "Goku, now that you and your mom have defeated the Red Ribbon Army, I hope we can see each other again soon."
Meanwhile, on Fry-Pan Mountain:
Ox King and Chi-Chi were watching in awe on the news how Goku and Gine managed to defeat the Red Ribbon Army all by themselves.
"I would expect nothing less from the daughter and grandson of my dear friend Son Gohan," said Ox King with a smile.
Chi-Chi, seeing Goku becoming a public celebrity in her mind, thought to herself, "Now that Goku is famous and recognized worldwide, I think he will be the perfect guy to be my husband, and it doesn't matter how I mistreated him before, I'll just apologize to him, say I'm 'remorseful,' and then convince him to be my husband."
Ox King, noticing his daughter had a somewhat suspicious smile while watching the news about Goku and Gine on TV, realized what his daughter was thinking, and Ox King, seriously, asked his daughter, "Are you okay, Chi-Chi?"
Chi-Chi snapped out of her thoughts and nervously said, "Huh? Yeah, dad, I'm fine. Why do you ask?"
Ox King, seriously, told his daughter, "Because I hope you don't commit the cynicism of trying to manipulate Goku and asking him to be your husband again after the way you treated him last time, now that he's considered a hero recognized by the whole world."
Chi-Chi, totally nervous, said, "But daddy, why would I do that? Besides, I just want to be friends with Goku and apologize for what I said before."
Ox King, seriously, said, "You better, Chi-Chi. Remember you're a princess and the daughter of the great Ox King, and I hope you don't do anything that would make me look bad."
Chi-Chi, with a fake smile, said, "Don't worry, dad, I assure you nothing will happen."
Meanwhile, in some mountains in the north:
A scientist from the Red Ribbon Army took all his plans and managed to escape from the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters during Goku and Gine's attack to set up a lab in a hidden location in the north.
Dr. Gero, furious, said, "That damned woman and her bastard son will pay dearly for destroying the Red Ribbon Army. I, Dr. Gero, swear I will avenge Goku and Gine for interfering with our plans and for destroying the Red Ribbon Army. They don't know who they're messing with, and I don't care how many years it takes, but I swear I will have my revenge, even if it's the last thing I do."
Despite having dismantled the Red Ribbon Army, Goku and Gine inadvertently allowed many of its members to escape, including the evil and prestigious scientist, Dr. Gero. Therefore, Goku and Gine had no idea of the terrible repercussions this would have in the future, not just for them but for the entire world, due to Dr. Gero's desire for vengeance, but that's a story for another time.
