80. Chapter 79

Chapter 79: PickyPiggy Vs Maggie Mako: Strange Encounters, Part 2

DogDay meanwhile was outside of a fast food joint with PickyPiggy and Bubba.

"I'm sorry for how I acted earlier." DogDay said to them, "I have no clue what caused me to act that way, but maybe it's stress from–"

"--We forgive you and all, DogDay, but do you really think that it was stress that made you act this way?" Bubba asked him,

"What?"

"Yeah, maybe you were jealous."

"Jealous? Of what?"

"Hmmm… Maybe… You were jealous of CatNap because he wanted to comfort or help Baba after she went through troubling high school years."

"Wh-What?"

"Huh, maybe that could be it, Picky."

DogDay face palmed.

"Now I don't know what caused me to act this way…" He said, "Thanks for confusing me, guys…"

"But just know that we forgive you." Bubba said, "You just need to figure out what really caused you to act this way."

"Yeah." PickyPiggy said as she took a sip of her vanilla milkshake,

"Whatcha doing here drinking a vanilla milkshake anyways?" DogDay asked her,

"It's my cheat day."

"Right…"

"Anyways, good luck making up with the others." Bubba said to DogDay, "You probably hurt them harder than the rest of us."

"I will… Thanks."

DogDay parted ways with Bubba and PickyPiggy as the two parted ways as well. PickyPiggy was finishing up her vanilla milkshake and put it in a nearby trash can and continued with her day. Someone meanwhile smelled the scent of the vanilla milkshake and chuckled menacingly.

Later, PickyPiggy would walk casually as she tipped her ten gallon hat at some critters that would wave hello to her in a friendly manner. That is, until she heard someone shouting.

"What the?!" She shouted as she went to find the source of the shouting, "Who in tarnation is shouting?!"

PickyPiggy then caught up to the source and noticed that RatedRat lost a duel against a shark critter after being dealt such a deadly attack.

"Hey, ain't ya the host of that 8-Critter Tournament a year ago?!" She said to her,

RatedRat slowly got up as she looked at PickyPiggy.

"Please leave!" She replied, "You have no idea who I just dueled!"

PickyPiggy and RatedRat then heard the shark critter laugh a bit.

"Well, what do we got here?" The shark critter said with an Australian accent of some sort as she then licked her lips at the sight of PickyPiggy, "I got me a new tasty opponent at my sight."

"Hell nah, ya ain't getting my hams!" PickyPiggy shouted, "Whatcha did to RatedRat?!"

"All she did was get under my bloody skin."

"You knew I was suspicious of you." RatedRat said, "You're one of the four critters kidnapped twice, weren't you?"

"What are you…"

"Wait, hold on, what are ya talkin about, RatedRat?" PickyPiggy asked RatedRat,

"Maggie Mako is her name." RatedRat replied, "I know it because she used to participate in a tournament I held 6 months ago with DandyDragon."

"Maggie Mako…"

"Yup, I only ended up in the Top 4!" Maggie said, "Not bad for a big girl like me with a sweet tooth!"

"Well, ya better leave her alone!" PickyPiggy said as she got out her Duel Disk, "And by the name, I'm a duelist too! Call me PickyPiggy!"

"Huh, alright, Picky! I'm feeling hungry for another win in my books, mate! Let's do it!"

RatedRat gulped as she walked back to keep PickyPiggy's distance.

"I don't like this…" She said,

Maggie activated her Duel Disk again as she and PickyPiggy then shouted, "Duel!" to start their duel.

Turn 1

PickyPiggy: 4000

Maggie Mako: 4000

Maggie went first as she looked at her hand of 5 cards and licked her lips again.

"Ok, you're making me uncomfortable the way you licking ya lips in public." RatedRat said, disgusted,

"Something is up about her…" PickyPiggy said, "Wasn't she like this before?"

"No, not at all!"

Maggie then played a Field Spell.

"Time for my sweet tooth to come out!" She said, "I activate my Field Spell, Madolche Chateau!"

Madolche Chateau was activated as the field became a land of sweets.

"Ah, fits ya very well." PickyPiggy said, "All ya do is eat sweets, huh?"

"Not a lot, mate!" Maggie replied, "But yeah, I rock with the sweets I eat!"

"You gotta watch ya health. Who knows, maybe you might end up with ya heart failing from all that sugar."

Maggie clenched her teeth.

"Shut ya trap, mate!" She shouted, "And look at you all fit and everything! I bet ya don't have a lover with ya like I do! And he's a caffeine junkie!"

"Well, so ya boyfriend's on Catfeine's level, huh?" PickyPiggy said, "Oh, and I do have a lover. A girlfriend to be exact."

"Good for ya, mate, anyways!"

Maggie then played a Continuous Spell.

"I play the Continuous Spell, Madolche Salon!" She said, "During my 1st Main Phase, I can Normal Summon a Madolche monster in addition to my Normal Summoning!"

"So ya can Normal Summon 2 Madolche monsters in one turn, huh? I won't bite, this is already making me a little hungry…"

"Today's ya cheat day, isn't it, mate?"

"Thanks for bringing it up!"

"Back to my turn! I'll Normal Summon under Madolche Salon, Madolche Magileine in Attack Position!"

Madolche Magileine was Normal Summoned in Attack Position with 1400 ATK Points, but went up to 1900.

"And when she's Normal or Flip Summoned, I can add a Madolche monster from my Deck to my Hand!" Maggie said as she added and revealed Madolche Petingcessoeur, "And this is where I add this monster to activate her effect! If I have no monsters in my Graveyard, I can Special Summon Madolche Petingcessoeur from my hand in Defense Position!"

Madolche Petingcessoeur was Special Summoned onto the field in Defense Position 1400 DEF Points, but was up to 1900.

"When Petingcessoeur is Special Summoned, I can Special Summon 1 Madolche monster from my Deck except for another Petingcessoeur and reduce the level of that monster by 1!" Maggie continued, "So joining the frontline of sweets will be Madolche Puddingcess!"

Madolche Puddingcess was Special Summoned onto the field in Attack Position with 1000 ATK Points, but was increased to 2300 and her Level went down to 4 since 5 was her original Level.

"Plus, Puddingcess gains 800 ATK Points as long as I don't have any monsters in my Graveyard!" Maggie said, "And I almost forgot to tell ya, as long as Madolche Chateau is on the field, all of my Madolche monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF Points!"

"3 Level 4 Madolche monsters…" PickyPiggy said, "I think you're gonna Xyz Summon, ain't ya?"

"Read my mind like a cookbook! I'm overlaying my Madolche Puddingcess and Petingcessoeur right now!"

The Overlay Network formed as Madolche Puddingcess and Petingcessoeur were both used as Xyz Materials. Suddenly, a new monster came out of the Overlay Network appearing like a teacher.

"I Xyz Summon, Rank 4, Madolche Teacher Glassouffle!" Maggie shouted,

Madolche Teacher Glassouffle was Xyz Summoned in Defense Position with 2500 DEF Points, but was increased to 3000 under Madolche Chateau.

"What's the matter?" PickyPiggy wondered, "Too much of a wuss to Xyz Summon in Attack Position?"

"Oh, I wasn't gonna end my turn there!" Maggie said, "I'm gonna rebuild the Overlay Network by overlaying my Madolche Teacher Glassouffle as Xyz Material and transferring her materials to my new Madolche Xyz Monster!"

"Say what?!"

"I don't gotta say it twice, mate! It's time for a Rank-Up Xyz Evolution!"

The Overlay Network formed again as Madolche Teacher Glassouffle and her materials were used as new Xyz Materials for another Xyz Summon.

"This time, I Xyz Summon, Rank 5, Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode!" Maggie shouted,

Madolche Puddingcess came out of the Overlay Network under a new dress and tiara as she was now Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode, Xyz Summoned in Attack Position with 2500 ATK Points, but was up to 3000 under Madolche Chateau.

"Ok, now I'm no longer hungry." PickyPiggy said,

Maggie then sets a card in her Spell and Trap Zone.

"I'll set a card." She said as she revealed one monster in her hand, which was her last card, "And before I end my turn, I Normal Summon Madolche Chouxvalier in Attack Position to protect my Puddingcess!"

Madolche Chouxvalier was Normal Summoned in Attack Position with 1700 ATK Points, but was raised to 2200.

"I forgot, she still has her Normal Summon outside of Madolche Salon." PickyPiggy said,

"Alright, mate, it's your turn!" Maggie said,

"About time!"

PickyPiggy draws to start Turn 2.

"Ok, she's got 2 big monsters thanks to that Field Spell." She said to herself, "I don't know what that set card will be, but I'm certain that I'm gonna use what I can to win this duel and have RatedRat be safe."

PickyPiggy then played a Field Spell of her own.

"I activate my Field Spell, Rikka Konkon!" She said,

PickyPiggy's side of the field becomes a flurry.

"Ugh, what is this?" Maggie wondered,

"I'll let ya know right now!" PickyPiggy replied as she revealed Rikka Princess, "Since it's still my Main Phase, I'm Special Summoning Rikka Princess from my hand!"

Rikka Princess was Special Summoned onto the field in Defense Position with 0 DEF Points. PickyPiggy then revealed a Normal Monster in her hand.

"And my Deck's got an upgrade to go along with my Rikkas!" PickyPiggy said, "So I'm Normal Summoning Sunseed Genius Loci to the field!"

Sunseed Genius Loci was Normal Summoned onto the field in Attack Position with 0 ATK Points.

"Ok, where is this going, mate?" Maggie asked her, "You're summoning bloody weak monsters!"

"Am I?" PickyPiggy wondered, "Even though they appeared weak, I'm only serving up a healthy platter that's gonna whoop your ass!"

"Bring it on, then, mate!"

"Fine! Create the Link Circuit to create new life!"

A Link Circuit appeared.

"The requirement for this here Link Summon is only 1 Level 4 or lower Plant monster." PickyPiggy said, "So I'm using Sunseed Genius Loci as Link Material!"

Sunseed Genius Loci was sent to the Bottom Link Arrow of the Link Circuit as Link Material.

"Let's Link this here Circuit!" PickyPiggy said, "I Link Summon, Link-1, Sunavalon Dryas!"

Sunavalon Dryas appeared in the Extra Monster Zone while actually being behind PickyPiggy as it was Link Summoned in Attack Position with 0 ATK Points. Maggie almost held her laughter, but bursted it out.

"A bloody tree?!" She shouted, "That's your healthy platter of whooping my arse?! It only has 0 ATK Points!"

"Don't judge a book by their damn cover, hun!" PickyPiggy said, "I activate Sunavalon Dryas's effect upon being Link Summoned! When It's Link Summoned in the Extra Monster Zone using Sunseed Genius Loci as material, I can add a Sunvine Spell or Trap from my Deck to my Hand!"

PickyPiggy then adds the Continuous Spell, Sunvine Cross Breed from her Deck to her Hand.

"Alright, time to crank up this here duel!" PickyPiggy said as she revealed another monster in her hand, "I activate Snowdrop The Rikka Fairy's effect from my hand!"

"Aw hell no!" Maggie shouted, "I ain't letting that side! I'll activate my face-down card, the Counter Trap, Madolche Nights!"

Madolche Nights was activated.

"I know damn well someone else also played Rikka when I was in that bloody tournament!" She said, "I was Top 4 because of that Rikka player! So I ain't making that same mistake again!"

"Shit, ok, I can see ya passion for this game." PickyPiggy said, "What does Madolche Nights do?"

Maggie grinned her teeth as she was chuckling.

"When you activated a monster's effect while I have no monsters in my Graveyard, I can negate the activation and then, if I have Madolche Puddingcess or in her Chocolat-a-la-Mode, I can shuffle a random card from your hand back into ya Deck!"

"Well shit." PickyPiggy said,

"Shuffle ya hand and let me point out a card for me to shuffle back into ya Deck! Don't give me any excuses, I want this done!"

"Alright, fine!"

PickyPiggy then shuffled her hand and then waited for Maggie to randomly choose. Maggie randomly chose Sunvine Cross Breed to be shuffled back into PickyPiggy's Deck without realizing.

"Well shit, there goes my Continuous Spell." PickyPiggy said to herself as she looked at her hand and sighed, "I think I might survive, who knows."

PickyPiggy sighed again as she looked at Maggie.

"I end my turn." She said,

"What?" Maggie said, surprised,

"Huh?!" RatedRat said as she looked at PickyPiggy's hand which consisted of the negated Snowdrop The Rikka Fairy, World Carrotweight Champion and Beargram, Shelled Emperor Of The Forest Crown, "Oh yeah, you're fucked."

Maggie laughed more.

"Oh crikey!" She said, "Alright, have it your way!"

Maggie then draws to start Turn 3. She looked at the card she drew and smiled.

"Perfect." She said as she revealed it, "I activate the Spell Card, Raigeki! Destroys all monsters you control!"

"Yup, I'm fucked." PickyPiggy said,

Raigeki was activated as Sunavalon Dryas and Rikka Princess were both destroyed.

"Now let's battle!" PickyPiggy shouted as the Battle Phase started, "Madolche Chouxvalier will attack first!"

Madolche Chouxvalier rides his horse to PickyPiggy and dealt 2200 points of damage to her with a pierce of his weapon, draining her Life PickyPiggy to 1800.

"Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode will now attack ya directly!" Maggie shouted, "Hasta la vista, baby!"

Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode then makes a piece of chocolate cake and shoots it at PickyPiggy. Upon hitting, the cake exploded into magic and drained the rest of her Life Points to 0. Maggie won the duel as she was satisfied.

"Crikey, that was a sweet duel." Maggie said, "Ya didn't even try!"

PickyPiggy was still standing after taking the attacks. RatedRat then pulled PickyPiggy away for her and PickyPiggy to run away from Maggie.

"Come on, let's get out of here!" RatedRat said,

"Right!" PickyPiggy said,

"You mates better run!" Maggie said, "I'll find ya lassies later!"

RatedRat and PickyPiggy meanwhile were out of breath from running.

"Damn…" PickyPiggy said, "I hardly lost a duel, but that duel almost cost ya…"

"I know…" RatedRat said, "I better go tell DandyDragon about this… She's onto this mystery as well."

"Stay safe out there."

"You too. Make sure you protect your girlfriend. I know how tough you are."

"I will."

RatedRat and PickyPiggy parted ways as PickyPiggy sighed and started to think.

"Maggie Mako…" She said, "And she's one of the four critters kidnapped twice, huh? I guess I gotta talk to DogDay about this once I have the chance…"
