Chapter 1:
The J-Team are in the briefing room, waiting for Captain Black. "And... Yackie is correct," says El Toro, "it was the 8th Dynasty!"
"You see," asks Jackie.
"I think being an archaeologist gives you an unfair advantage," says Viper, "now if the trivia was about crimes, I would've won!"
"You forget, you're not the only ex-criminal here," says Tohru.
"Sorry to keep you all waiting," says Captain Black, "but we got a request." He then shows them the screen. "They call themselves F.E.A.R.!"
"The people who fought Birdman," asks Viper.
"First Encounter Assault Recon," says Captain Black, "they're an organization that deals with the paranormal. At first, I never believed in their stuff, but... well, you know, Shen Du. Anyway, her name is Genevieve Aristide, she's the president of Armacham Technology Corporation otherwise known as ATC. F.E.A.R. is asking us to bring her to them, but because I don't entirely trust these guys..."
"You're having us do the dirty work," says Viper.
"Bingo," says Captain Black.
"When do we start," asks Jade.

She and Paco are not going. "Maybe you should stop expecting them to take you," says Paco.
"Yeah, that's on me," says Jade.
