Naruto was in his room packing his bag for the skiing trip tomorrow
"You better pack a lot, it's cold up there!" Kushina yelled from downstairs which Naruto didn't respond to since he was used to this by now
"I packed enough I'm not gonna freeze anything off" Naruto yelled as he went downstairs to go talk to his mom so she didn't have to yell
he entered the dining room and saw Elyon and Minato sitting at the dining room table while Kushina was In the kitchen cooking dinner
"You be sure to stay out of mischief its not safe to pull pranks while skiing" Minato said as he looked up from his paper
"Kinda hard to pull them when I have to look after some fake foreign girl, her own clothes are more foreign than she is" Naruto said with a sigh
"Its been a few days you could just ditch her" Elyon said as she looked at her brother
"And you should I've seen the looks those girls you hang around give her when you hang around that faker" Kushina said
"What looks?" Naruto asked curiously
"Bro they look like they want to plot her death and bury the body during this trip" Elyon said either a Chuckle as she found Naruto's cluelessness funny
"…..note to self keep a eye on the girls during this trip Naruto said as he sweatdropped as he did not want to tempt fate that his friends wouldn't kill Saundra
"Though if you plan to play hard to get keep going for it it'll drive them nuts" Kushina said with a laugh
"Look just have fun… and teach all those kids how a real pro skis/snowboards" Minato said with a smirk
"Yeah dad wouldn't want those lessons you taught me to go to waste" Naruto said rolling his eyes
"You packed too sweetie?" Kushina asked Elyon as she brought dinner to the table
"Yeah, like I'm missing Cornelia have a meltdown over Saundra" Elyon said with a chuckle
Everyone smiled at this as they all sat down and ate together as a family
(The next day)
Naruto and Elyon were in there winter gear as they walked towards the bus where the other students going on the trip were all lined up to enter the bus
"Hey Naruto, Elyon, glad you two caught up, what took you?" Irma asked greeting the siblings
"Oh nothing much, just a 30 minute shopping trip on the perfect toboggan to match her outfit" Naruto said flatly as he gesturing at Elyon
"I didn't like the one I had" Elyon said simply as she smiled
"You mean you didn't like the one mom got you" Naruto said flatly making her look at him with a pout while the other guardians laughed
"Ah Naruto there you are" Saundra said as she approached them
"Hey Saundra" Naruto said with a slightly forced smile
"Come on you can keep me company on the bus" Saundra said as she pulled him onto the bus
The guardians seethed at this as Elyon chuckled slightly
"Urge to kill rising" Cornelia said with a scowl at Saundra
"Get in line" Will said as she glared at Saundra
"Oh this trip is going to be amazing" Elyon said with a smile as they all slowly got onto the bus unknown to them blunk was nearby and was thrown into the storage area of the bus by a teacher who was helping pack up all the students bags

They got to the ski lodge and everyone was out on the mountain and Naruto decided to show off as he put his board into his hands as a skateboarder would by stepping on the end of it and making it pop up into his hands
"Oooh you snowboard too, perhaps we can teach each other a few things" Saundra said with a smile at Naruto
"He can't!" Will said quickly as she had enough of this
"And why not, surely he isn't going to board with you, and your little legs" Saundra said with a condescending smile
"Better than boarding with you and your little brain" Will countered as she glared
This got oohs from the classmates around them as Naruto looked at the two surprised at this
"Uh girls-" Naruto said as he tried to keep them calm before he was cut off
"Stay out of this!" Will and Saundra yelled as they glared at each other

"Very well tomorrow me and you race on the expert course and the winner sits with Naruto on the bus home" Saundra said with a smile

"Am I missing something? when did this become some drama you see on those shows you and mom watch?" Naruto asked Elyon who was
"your a moron" Elyon said as she walked away with the other girls shaking her head at her brothers cluelessness

"Preach corny" Irma said with a smile at this while Hay Lin giggled and Taranee sighed
"You have absolutely no idea how to ski do you?" Naruto flatly asked Will
"...No" will said as she looked down knowing that Naruto could get the truth out of her
"I could teach ya, I'm not just good on a board but a pair of skis too" Naruto said
will smiled at this and nodded at Naruto "Ha! take that you Swiss floozy!" she thought as she followed Naruto
"gangway!" Hay Lin yelled as she skied past Naruto and will out of control
"Remind me to teach her how to stop" Naruto said
"Preferably before she breaks a leg" Taranee said as her and Irma skied after the Guardian of Air
(Later that night)
Naruto and Will approached the lodge… with Will having a hairful of snow
"Well you stayed up on the last trip better than the last one" Naruto said as he chuckled as Will shook her hair
"Shut up" Will grumbled out
This made the girls laugh before looking confused as Yan Lins car showed up and Caleb came out of the passenger side
"Caleb what're you doing here?" Naruto asked curiously as he and Caleb fist bumped
"Someone says I'm no fun" Caleb said looking at Yan Lin who came out of the drivers seat
"Um, do they even have snowboarding in Meridian?" Naruto asked curiously
"We got Mumboarding… is that anything like it?" Caleb asked curiously
"…..we should talk before you try to snowboard tomorrow" Naruto said as he had a feeling this mumboarding was similar but he wanted to be sure
"He talk the talk but can he walk the walk" Yan Lin said with a chuckle
"No offense ma'am but I think Caleb might prove you wrong" Naruto said as he had a feeling this mumboarding was going to help Caleb here
(later in the cabin)
Naruto and the other guardians besides Hay Lin were all sitting around the fireplace with some cocoa
"Heat, heat heat heat." Taranee said sitting real close to the fire
"Guess the guardian of fire wouldn't like the cold that much" Naruto said with a chuckle glad Elyon was talking with Alchemy so they could talk about Guardian stuff
"Not funny" Taranee said as she rubbed her hands before feeling a coat on her shoulder and when she looked she saw Naruto gave her his coat
"Here let me help" Naruto said as he grabbed Taranee's hands and held them as he tried to warm her hands with his body heat
Taranee blushed at this feeling his hands over her own
"You know I have to say something to you" Naruto asked making her stiffen slightly even more
"Uh… w-what?" Taranee stuttered out nervously

Taranee tried to compose herself but was finding it difficult cause of how close Naruto was
"And you smell like cinnamon" Naruto said as he smiled at her

"Another thing I've thought of while being here, Irma, have you tried to use your abilities of water with the snow?" Naruto asked

"Well yeah, I mean you're the guardian of water, snow and ice is just another state of water" Naruto said
"Great we come here for fun and we get more guardian lessons" Cornelia said with a chuckle
"ok ok I'm sorry your right I just want ti make sure your all OK and don't get hurt cause your unprepared" Naruto said as he didn't want to ruin this trip
"Aw he loves us" Irma said with a smile
"Well who wouldn't you girls are awesome" Naruto said making them smile
the guardians all blushed at this
"So how did snowboarding lessons go with Will and Hay Lin?" Elyon asked as she walked over after Taranee recovered
"Well Will only fell… like 20 times then we started moving the skis" Naruto said making her laugh as Will pouted at this
As everyone laughed Hay Lin ran into the room and quickly grabbed Naruto's coat off Taranee
"Hey!" Taranee said annoyed at this as she liked having Naruto's coat
"Sorry guys… bye guys" Hay Lin said as she ran back outside
"Sounds like something is going on" Naruto's said with a confused look
"Not it!" Irma yelled as she knew one of them should go check on Hay Lin
all the other girls quickly said not it surprising Naruto who sighed at being to slow to react
"Fine I'll go just keep sitting there all pretty and warm up" Naruto said as he went to follow Hay Lin
"Hey whiskers take this" Irma said as she got up and put her coat on Naruto since hay lin swiped his
"Little tight but thanks mermaid" Naruto said with a smile at Irma before he followed Hay Lin
Irma smiled at this before she sat back down next to Elyon who was looking at her with a smirk "…shut up" Irma said as she tried to ignore her crushes sister
"Aw he didn't even realize he called us pretty" Taranee said as she drank some of her cocoa
yea that's my brother the idiot savant, 90 percent idiot 10 percent savant" Elyon said with a smile
this got laughs from the other girls as they continued to talk
(Outside)
Naruto followed Hay Lin outside and soon spotted her nearby with Yan Lin sitting against the cabin
"And there that should help" Hay Lin said putting cold weather gear… on Blunk
"Ahhh you had to put my coat on him?" Naruto said as he groaned
"Coat big, has extra spots to store stuff and make Blunk nice and warm" Blunk said with a smile
"I expect that returned to me with no garbage in it Naruto said flatly to passing
"Blunk make no promises."
"Sorry it was either that or let him freeze" Hay Lin said
"No no I understand Hay Lin" Naruto said as he nodded knowing the air Guardian was right
"want cocoa" Blunk said as he shivered a bit
"We're on it you stay with grandma" Hay Lin said with a smile as she moved to go back inside and grabbed Naruto to take him with her
"wow you just love helping people don't you?" Naruto asked with a chuckle at the Air Guardian
"What? it's not bad to help people" Hay Lin said as she smiled
"I agree that's why I like hanging out with you Hay Lin" Naruto said as he went inside
Hay Lin smiled with a faint blush as she adjusted her hair
"Hay Lin can we talk?" Will asked as she approached her
"You go ahead I'll get the cocoa for the smelly friend of ours" Naruto said with emphasis on smelly so will would get it
Will groaned at this and nodded as Naruto went to go get Cocoa while she talked to Hay Lin
(The Next Day)
Everyone was now outside skiing and the girls were all in kine for teh lift up the mountain
"where are Naruto and Caleb?" Taranee asked Irma and Cornelia who were in line with her
"Whoooo!" Caleb said as he was doing tricks on a snowboard as he snowboarded down teh mountain
"Told you that Mumboarding thing was going to be similar" Naruto yelled at Yan Lin who was on the lift as he passed by
"You win this one whiskers!" Yan Lin yelled with a smile as she was glad Caleb was OK
Naruto took his board and skied downward sliding over the snow. He did a right turn evading a few skiers nearby before pulling off into a full spin like a mini tornado launching himself off into the air.
"show off!" Irma yelled after Naruto as they watched him
nearby two kids were making a snowman
"Maybe if we sing a song he'll come to life like in the movies." A little girl said as she and her brother made a snowman
"Oh Fr-" The two kids song was cut off as there snow man zipped down on a snowboard down the slop slowly turning back to the kids
"Life's as extreme as you wanna make it! Whoohoo!" The Snowman shouted as he went down
"Maybe we sang the wrong song." The girl said with a bewildered look on her face
The snow vanished as Naruto skates down the snow steadily gaining more and more speed he snow the bottom approaching he quickly grabbed hold of a branch to slingshot further giving out a excited cry as he race through the snow
"Wow…" Taranee, Cornelia, and Irma said in amazement and awe"
"Be careful drooling, it might freeze." Elyon said with a snicker as she sent a video of what Naruto just did to her mom

Naruto and Caleb were now making there way up the mountain to watch the race with Will and Saundra
"So who do you want to win?" Caleb asked Naruto curiously
"Will just so I can get away from that faker" Naruto said
"Why not just tell her your not interested?" Caleb asked curiously
"I asked Elyon that she said… you have a lot to learn about girls, and Saundra is your problem " Naruto said as he sighed
"The universe's greatest enigma, the woman" Caleb said as Naruto nodded
"Preach my fellow sorcerer" Naruto said with a smile as he and Caleb approached Elyon Cornelia Irma and Taranee who were by the starting line
"Where is Will?" Caleb asked curiously as he spotted Saundra who was ready but will was nowhere to be seen
"Maybe she is chickening out" saundra said with a smirk
"Look miss shallow, I know Will and she's no chicken" Naruto said with a glare at Saundra as he was reaching his limit

"I've had about enough of all this, your fake accent your fake backstory and your even faker face, when this is over I'm sitting with who I want not whoever wins this little femme clash ski crap" Naruto said as he rolled his eyes

"WOOOO!" Irma yelled throwing her hands up
"Denied" Cornelia said with a smug look at saundra
"And sent" Elyon said as she sent a recording of this to her mom as she knew this would be something she would love to see
before saundra could respond Will skied over while covered by more winter clothes then was probably needed
"Will is that you?" elyon asked curiously as she saw some of wills red hair and assumed it was her
"Yup! Let's do this!"
"Oh jeez" Naruto said as he groaned as he recognized some of wills guardian outfit thanks to her legs being visible
"wow will really wants to win Cornelia said with a chuckle as she didn't expect Will to play dirty like this
"Oh you would do it to corny" Irma said as she chuckled

"Well let's–" Saundra was saying before she was cut off

"Fighting the forces of evil… how can you call yourself a hero when you're using your powers for your own personal gain?" Naruto asked as he blocked Wills way
"Oh please you just the other day tried to make a refiling bowl of ramen" Caleb said with a flat look on his face as he announced his presence behind them
"Not helping, Will this isn't good, what's going to happen if you get ticked off and your lightning comes out,you could accidentally put her in the hospital." Naruto said as he tried to convince her to not go through with this
"Oh I'm not even doing anything Hay Lin is pushing me to increase my speed"
Naruto looked up and spotted Hay Lin hoding behind the clouds above them "huh that's actually clever but you still don't expect me to let you- "
"she's already gone" Caleb said simply
"Damn it Will!" Naruto yelled after Will who was already at the starting line before she took off along with Saundra
"Jealousy, thy is a green menace" Caleb said shaking his head
"Come on let's go make sure she doesn't get hurt at least" Naruto said with a sigh
"Alright we'll follow your girlfriend" Caleb said rolling his eyes as he grabbed his board

before Caleb could respond they all felt a shake
"an avalanche! Everyone get back!" miss Knickerbocker yelled as she kept some of the students back along with Elyon
Naruto looked at the approaching avalanche and saw Irma Taranee and Cornelia where in its path and instantly moved and snowboarded towards them
as he approached he waved his nads which glowed with his magic and slammed into the three girls as the snow engulfed them
Caleb frowned at this but he knew Naruto had this covered and as he looked around he spotted Cedric making his way down the mountain where Will and Saundra were going before the avalanche hit
he then scowled as he jumped off the cliff and thanks to the vaulting boots of Valtorr he started to easily follow Cedric

Naruto groaned as he focused on keeping his shield up while in complete darkness
"Who's hand is that?" Cornelia and Taranees voices asked together
"Sorry, I have to keep my hands on you to hold this shield, and the snow off of us" Naruto said
"It's solid now whiskers so stop copping a feel" Irmas voice said
"... then who's hand is on me?" Naruto asked curiously as he felt something grabbing at his abs as the girls chuckled sheepishly at this
"Can we focus on getting out of here?" Cornelia asked as Naruto let down the shield
"Yea let's have some light Taranee" Irma said as she couldn't see a thing
Taranee focused for a moment and made a small amount of fire in her palm lighting up the cavern they were now in
"So spark fingers think you can got something to get us out?" Irma asked
"wish I did I left my sling ring at home" Naruto said with a frown as he tried to think of a way to help

"We're buried in the snow I doubt it can get any worse" Irma said
suddenly the snow wall next to them moved a little and soon broke away revealing Blunk

"Where have you been?" Naruto asked wondering why blunk just disappeared on them
"Me captured by snake man try and make me talk" Blunk said as he shuddered
"Ugh can that overgrown garden worm with hair ever get the picture he can't beat us" Cornelia said as she sighed
"He probably knows it, just lord douche doesn't let him" Naruto said
"So he was trying to make you talk?" Irma said
"Try and make me tell girls and whisker boys weaknesses tell me what know! no! I not rank!" blunk said as he did a reenactment of said conversation

"We can thank him later we need to get out of here" Taranee said as she tried to keep her fire lit

Will and Hay lin were in there guardian forms trying to fight Cedric who was easily tossing them around
the snake human threw Will at Hay lin and they both crashed into a tree nearby and groaned
"And here I thought you'd have been buried like the others" Cedric said
suddenly Caleb vaulted over to them and he made what looked like gold lighting and shot a blast at Cedric as he vaulted around the snake man
"Ahhhh, since when can you do magic?" Cedric growled in pain but quickly recovered as he swing his tail at Caleb who vaulted away
"I've learned new tricks you overgrown gecko!" Caleb yelled as he fired another blast
"Another sorcerer, that whispered blonde was one too many!" Cedric growled as he glared at Caleb
"Where's he at when you need him" Will said as Hay Lin shook snow out of her hair
suddenly a sling portal opened above Cedric and a bunch of snow fell out of it and buried the snake man under it
Naruto, Cornelia, Irma and Taranee fell on top of the pile as Cornelia caught Blunk before dropping him
"Am I glad to see you" Will said as her and Hay Lin flew over to them
"Ah what, sparks, you're not glad to see me often?" Naruto said as he pouted a little
"You might want to move you're on top of Cedric" Hey Lin said as the pile of snow started to shake
"Will the heart!" Taranee yelled as her Cornelia and Irma quickly moved while Naruto ran and readied his magic seals
"Guardians unite!" Will yelled making the heart glow and engulf Irma Taranee and Cornelia transforming them just as Cedric burst out of the snow growling angrily at them
"light him up!" Caleb yelled as him and Naruto made some light ropes and both fired at him and wrapped them around his arms and held him in place
Cedric growled as he tried to get free but the light ropes were very strong
"Let's try something new." Irma said as she lifted her hands watching as the snow came up
"Told you you could do that Mermaid" Naruto said as he and Caleb held Cedric in place
Irma then made the snow turn into snowballs which she started sending at Cedric
Cedric growled in annoyance at this as he started to try harder to get loose
hold on boys I'll help Cornelia said as she held out her arms and after a few moments some vines grew out from under the snake man and wrapped around him and started to engulf him and help hold him still
"Come on you can do better than snowballs try being more imaginative" Naruto said
Irma smirked before the snow turned into snow men that began to attack Cedric piling up on him eventually trapping him in a giant snowball
Hay lin then smiled as she made a very strong wind blow and start to blow the now snowball trapped Cedric down the hill
Naruto and Caleb were starting to be blown away too but will grabbed Caleb and flew off with him while Taranee grabbed Naruto
Cedric roared in defeat as he rolled down the hill and soon he was out of sight as he went over a cliff
"Thanks for the save firefly" Naruto said with a smile at Taranee
"You really do have nicknames for all of us don't you." Taranee said with a chuckle as she tried not to blush
"Sparky Mermaid bloom cyclone" Naruto said as he pointed out will Irma Cornelia and Hay Lin while Taranee put him down
"You know, we really should start training your powers should these split ups happen more" Naruto said as he looked at the girls as will turned them all back to normal
"I agree this whole powers being useless separated thing is getting old" Caleb said as he looked at them
"We're working on it with Miss baldy" Irma said with a annoyed look on her face
"Ok ok let's all get back to the cabin before we're missed Naruto said as he made a sling portal
"Yea now I have to deal with Saundra and eat crow" Will said with a sigh at the fact that she most likely lost the race
"Eat crow?" Caleb muttered with a wtf look on his face at this term
"You should've heard what Naruto said to Saundra while you were busy getting ready for cheating" Irma said as she smiled
"Yea he called her shallow and even called her face fake." Cornelia said as she laughed

Cedric made his way out of the sewer in front of his bookstore in his human form and made his way inside the bookstore and approached his crystal ball and touched it making it glow
Soon the face of Phobos appeared inside the crystal ball. "What do you have to report Cedric?" phobos asked
"I failed in defeating the guardians and the sorcerers with them" Cedric said as he bowed his head
"Sorcerers? there are more?" phobos asked with a glare wishing he heard his subordinate wrong
"The Rebel leader has learned magic, the same magic the blonde sorcerer knows" Cedric growled angry at the fact that the rebel leader was now more of a threat
"Did you learn anything about my sister yet?"
"Nothing yet sir there are a lot of girls to look through on the list but I have made some progress In narrowing it down"
"Then continue your search, and keep a eye out for my dear sisters old friend " Phobos said with a firm tone
"That red headed witch is on earth?" Cedric asked as he looked up from his bow
"the blonde sorcerer is a Uzumaki which means she may be connected to him so stay alert and if you see her stay away and report to me" Phobos said with a firm tone
Cedric nodded at this and bowed again as phobos disappeared from the crystal ball
(a few days later in Meridian)
Naruto was hiding in a tree along with Caleb who had convinced him to come with him on a mission to intercept some food supplies that were being escorted to the castle, and since it was Monday morning Naruto was free to help
"Why didn't you ask me to bring the girls?" Naruto whispered to Caleb who was next to him waiting for the supply escort
"Do you honestly need them everywhere you go?" Caleb asked
"No but they're involved in this so why not ask for the extra help? Naruto asked curiously
"The trainee for sorcerer supreme needing help, aren't you the one who kept saying we need to work together more on dual spells and working together and all that?" Caleb asked with a chuckle
"... Okay I felt that crack into my manhood" Naruto muttered to himself
"Besides it's just getting food it's not that big of a bust" Caleb said
"Speaking of here they come" Naruto said as he pointed down the road where there were some guards walking towards them escorting a wagon
Caleb whistled a bit signaling his hidden men to get ready
When the guards got closer Naruto made a few magic seals and waved his hands which made a gust of wind start to spin around the guards and make them all blind
Caleb's rebels chose this chance to attack and thanks to them all being blind they were easily defeated and tied up
(Rebels hideout)
Caleb and Naruto stood in front of the gathered rebels and showed them a wagons of food they had taken
"Eat well everyone!" Caleb said with a smile at them as they all went to the food to eat
"Hey,uh, you got any more of that, chocolate was it? For the little ones" Aldarn asked looking at the children as they ate
"I'll bring them the best dang chocolate they've ever had" Naruto said as he nodded at Caleb
"We will be back soon" Caleb said as him and blunk turned to Naruto who was making a sling portal back to the portal back to earth
(Back on earth)
On earth there was a portal open on top of a rooftop and soon Naruto Caleb and blunk came through it
"We did great!" Blunk said with a smile as he finished a apple
"We did great, all you did was eat." Caleb said as he rolled his eyes at the passing
"He showed us a portal Caleb plus Remember he could have sold out the girls when Cedric had him but he didn't Naruto said as he nodded at Blunk
"and you didn't tell us about it?" will said announcing their presence and making Naruto Caleb and blunk jump in surprise
"Because my darling sparky he needs a portal to get to his home to help defend it, he's not a fry cook he's a rebel leader.""
"You know the rules you find a portal you tell us so we can seal it" Will said with a disapproving look along with the other guardians
"What about the children we promised to bring them the best chocolate we could find" Caleb said as he blocked Will's path to the portal
Will ignored this and held out the heart of Kandrakar and sealed the portal closed
"You just made a lot of kids unhappy… now you remind me of mom" Naruto said flatly
"You take that back!" Will said as she looked at Naruto with a annoyed look
"Make me!" Naruto said with a defiant look on his face
Will then grabbed his wrist and pulled on it and put Naruto into a hold that Tilda taught her
"Ow ow ! uncle uncle!" Naruto yelled out while the guardians laughed
"Ha, ow!" Will yelled as the cloak of levitation smacked her hand off of Naruto's
"Ha ha, thanks" Naruto said as he rubbed his wrist
"Don't you have school to get to?" Caleb asked with his arms crossed
"Right ok whiskers make us a portal to school Cornelia said looking at Naruto
"Right… later." Naruto said with a grin opening one underneath himself that closed after he fell though
"Hey… that was totally payback for the hold wasn't it?" Will said with a scoff
"Most likely" Taranee said with a sigh at the fact that they would have to run to school now
"You don't want to get on his bad side I hear his pranks can be quite devastating" Irma said as they all walked towards the fire escape to climb down
"Yea last April fools he put some of the school in therapy" Hay Lin said with a smile
"... noted" Will said with a nervous smile
(later at the silver dragon)
Naruto walked into the restaurant wanting to get something to eat afterwards school
"Naruto over here!" Hay Lin called out as she waved to Naruto from her table where the other guardians and Elyon were
"How's it going, Cyclone, get into sugar again?" Naruto said with a chuckle
"no she signed us up for drama night" Irma said as she groaned
"And what exactly kind of play are we gonna be doing?" Naruto asked curiously as he sat down
"Ooh let's do sleeping beauty, you could be prince charming I could be the maiden to be awakened" Cornelia said
"Ok two problems with that" Taranee said with a roll of her eyes
"one the theme is mythology not Fairy Tales" Hay Lin said as she shook her head at Cornelia
"And two whiskers is banned from performing on stage after last year" Irma said with a chuckle
"What happened?" Will asked curiously
oh it wasn't that big a deal so I sang with Matt's band big deal Naruto said as he rolled his eyes
"Things got wild" Irma said
"Yeah but there was one chick there that was screaming more than anyone else, man the lungs on… whoever that was" Naruto said
"Oh that was classic! wanna see the footage?" Kushina asked as she came out with their food
"And see women trying to throw themselves at me, no" Naruto said as he took his food and left "I'll help with preparing the play but I'm not performing old Knickerbocker will probably freak out if I show up to perform" he said as he left
the girls all nodded at this while Kushina's gave them their food
"... play it" Will said to Kushina after Naruto had left
"Heh I'm starting to like you red" Kushina said as she took out her phone and a few swipes later she was showing footage of what looked like Naruto with a guitar at a microphone while Matt had a bass and Nigel was at the drums
and what stood out was that all of the girls in the school auditorium were screaming as Naruto sang and played
"Definitely as good as i remember " Cornelia said with a dreamy smile
"Yea he had all of you girls freaking out from what I saw" Kushina said with a smirk at Irma Taranee Cornelia and Hay Lin who all blushed from embarrassment
suddenly on the footage a very loud scream was heard louder than the other girls screaming
"Wow he was right there was a screaming fan… she kinda sounds like" Will was saying before Taranee closed Kushina's phone stopping the video with a blush on her face
"Yeah Taranee really getting into it" Irma said with a chuckle
"Wow you? Ms. soft spoken, heights frightened book loving Taranee?" Will said "
"In my experience it's the quiet ones who are the biggest freaks" Kushina said with a chuckle as she put away her phone
"Why did you have to say it like that?" Taranee said her blush getting darker while the other girls laughed
(The next day)
the guardians were all in the auditorium setting up the stage for their play, they had decided to do a play about the four dragons and nymph who had created their powers
Naruto was helping Irma paint the background for the play
"Too bad there's not exactly a part for you whiskers, though you do make a good artist" Irma said
"I'm fine helping you all with this" Naruto said as he smiled
"Yeah thought so- oops" Irma pointed with her brush getting some paint on Naruto's face"
"Hmph, uh, oops." Naruto said doing the same to her
"Hey!" Irma said with a annoyed look as she didn't buy Naruto did it accidently for a moment
"Hey romeo and juliet, keep the paint on the background please" Will said as she helped Hay lin with the dragon costumes
"Please if anyone in this group is Juliet it's Cornelia she has the looks for it" Naruto said as Cornelia showed up wearing a princess dress
"My point illustrated" Naruto said with a chuckle as Cornelia seemed happy with her look
"Well glad someone's enjoying herself" Taranee said as she rolled her eyes
"Oh come in this isn't that bad" Hay Lin said as she was having fun creating the costumes for the play
"Hay Lin, everything you do is fun, this is fun, though is someone going to tell Cornelia she's one of the dragons and Will is the Nymph?" Naruto said wiping the paint off his face
"You mean I don't get to be a princess?" Cornelia said with a disappointed look on her face
"Hey look on the brightside… uh, you'll be the prettiest of the dragons" Naruto said with a nervous chuckle
"Girls, we have a problem!" Yan Lin said as she made her way into the room with blunk close behind
"Yeah I'll say, this color so does not work with my eyes" Naruto said making Irma laugh
"Focus whiskers, what up Yan lin?" Will asked the older woman
"Caleb is gone he left a note saying he found a lead on the seal of phobos and he was gonna go get it before phobos men can" Yan Lin said as she held up a letter
"The Seal, you mean that necklace of his that he lost… what I read books too" Naruto said getting a look from the elderly woman
"Wait how did he find another portal…..blunk" Will said as she glared at said passing who was trying to sneak away before Naruto grabbed him
"How else would he, considering all the portals he tries to keep open your heart seals up sparky" Naruto said as he held up blunk
"Hey not my fault it stays with the program"
"This is obviously a trap… well I'm gone" Naruto said as he motioned to leave
"The girls will go with you" Yan Lin said firmly
"But grandma the play starts in less then a hour" Hay Lin said as she gestured to teh stage and finished costumes
"Exactly why I'm going to show you how to make duplicates to do the play"
"Man, CHYKN really knew stuff about the Heart" Naruto muttered as he stopped moving to leave
"Ugh, I hate that name" Yan Lin muttered as she approached Will
"Blame your names not the acronym." Hay Lin said "
Yan Lin rolled her eyes as she held the heart as Will held it out "Spord Lartsa" she said
the heart started to glow and in a flash of light there were now one copy each of the 5 girls
"... I have so many… nevermind. What do we do now?" Naruto asked
"The copies are essentially blank slates, you tell them what to do" Yan Lin said as the girls all inspected the clones
"Ugh, that's what my teacher told me when she taught me a clone spell… it did not go well" Naruto said with a shudder
"Ok Yan Lin you guide them through the play let's go girls" Will said as she put away the heart
"Yea lead the way to the portal you living wart" Irma said as she dragged Blunk with them
"So about that clone thing?" Hay Lin asked curiously as she looked at Naruto
"Long story short they decided to turn against me… one turned out to be a girl… never trying that spell again until I nail it" Naruto said as he shook his head
"Man when you try spells, you really mess up" Cornelia said with a chuckle
"Better than what you girls were doing under that bridge" Naruto said as he made a sling portal
(Meridian)
Naruto and the girls in their guardian forms were flying towards torus filney where blunk had told them the Caleb was going to look for the seal of phobos
they all landed near what looked like a pool of sand and started to look around
"A sense life, it is close." Naruto said as he looked around
"So this Torus Filney, read any books on it?" Irma asked Naruto
"Hmm… I remember reading a meridian chapter on a living sandpit in this location" Naruto said
"Living Sand, great this place has sandmen too. What's next Hydro man?" Taranee said
"it's true" a voice said beyond them and when they turned around they saw a little girl and boy behind them
"the sand took a older boy recently just like out big brother" the girl said with a frown
"Caleb, so he did fall for it" Will said as they all looked at the pool of sand
"How do we beat living sand?" Cornelia asked
"With our firefly and mermaid" Naruto said looking at Irma and Taranee
"Me?" Irma asked curiously
"ah cause sand turns to glass when heated" Taranee said as she nodded In understanding
"Sand can't keep itself up when wet, when super heated sand becomes glass like Taranee said, Will would be useful… if she could use her lightning when she's not pissed" Naruto said
"let's go in Naruto your on portal patrol once we have Caleb and their brother" will said as she ignored Naruto and looked at the two kids and smiled kindly at them
"ok into the cat box ladies!" Naruto yelled as he flew into the pool of sand
"Wait for me!" Hay lin yelled as she flew after him
"let's go save that moron" Will said with a sigh as the rest of them flew
"Caleb or Naruto?" Irma asked with a smirk
"Yes" Will said simply as she and the others flew into the pool of sand
(underground)
Naruto made some light along with Taranee as they looked around and soon they found Caleb against a wall his arms bound in hardened sand
"Well well look who it is" Irma said as they all flew to Caleb
"Shut up and get me out of this damn thing I got an itch" Caleb said
"oh we would but you sure you need help? Taranee asked with a raised eyebrow
"Ugh girls" Naruto grunted as he freed Caleb and caught him
"Thank you" Caleb said thankful that Naruto wasn't gonna make him apologize
"No problem" Naruto said as he made a sling portal and threw Caleb through it like a bag of laundry
"You mother-" Caleb was yelling before the portal closed
"Now let's find that kid" Naruto said as he held up his hand to light up the way
the guardians all nodded at this as they all looked around while Naruto and Taranee lit the way
"Help, me"
Taranee looked up and found said kid over them bound to the wall like Caleb was
"Hold on kid" Irma said as her and Naruto flew over to free him
"You ok?" Naruto asked as he and Irma freed him
"I got sand where sand shouldn;t be" the kid said as Naruto carried him once he was free
"He's fine" Will said as she chuckled
"We must go, the sand will be back"
suddenly the cavern started to shake and what looked like living sand made its way into the cavern
Naruto got a hardened look on his face as he fired a magical blast and watched as the sand turned to glass on the impact
The sand then screeched in pain at this
"Picking, on kids ain't cool you sand freak!" Naruto said as he made a seal ready to start blasting the sandpit with a more powerful spell
"Naruto portal! will yelled out as she wanted to get the kid out of here
Naruto waved his hand and made a portal which the guardians all flew through with the boy before Will Taranee and Naruto could follow Naruto's ring hand was struck by a sand attack making the portal disappear
"You're getting annoying!" Naruto growled as he tried to get the sand off his hand
"Okay, that's it, didn't your mother ever tell you… mess with fire and you get burned!" Taranee said as she began to unleash flames making the creature screech as it recoiled from the head
"Cool it Taranee, you can't get him when hes moving , plus you'll fry us too" Will said as sandpit flew around them to avoid Taranee
"Sparks, come on try something here" Naruto said as the sand began to climb up his arm
"Okay… come on, come on, Quintessence!" Will yelled as she began to unleash lightning which struck sandpit and made him freeze in place
"That's it baby!" Naruto said with a grin as the creature yelled as it's body began to turn to glass thanks to Taranee attacking him
"Come on, get us out of here" Taranee said
Naruto nodded as he made another sling portal which that all flew through
(The surface)
"There you all are, What happened?" Hay lin asked as she flew over to Will Taranee and Naruto worried about them
"Well I finally unleashed Quintessence… and Naruto called me baby" Will said with a smirk
"Yea and I was able to turn sandpit into glass so he's done trapping people" Taranee said with a smile
"Yea we noticed" Irma said as she gestured to the sand pool which was now replaced with glass
"That's great, no longer will the people have to fear the sandpit, and the valley is one step close to being peaceful" Caleb said
"We don't want to hear it from you Mr go off on his own!" Will said as her and the guardians looked at Caleb with unamused looks
"Hey, you had a play to put on and I am a rebel leader, there are going to be times when I can't get to you for help" Caleb said as he held up his hands defensively
"Caleb we left clones at the play to come save you" Cornelia said with a sigh
"... You can do that?" Caleb asked amazed
"Look Caleb were all in this together so you need to trust us we may not live here but we're just as committed as you, Will said firmly as she looked at Caleb
"It's not that I don't trust you… I just don't want to lose some of the greatest friends I've ever made" Caleb said with a frown
"Then get stronger with us and stop with the lone wolf crap" Irma said as she also glared at Caleb
"I wouldn't say lone wolf, more like lone teenage boy who's learning" Naruto said
this got giggles from the girls while Caleb groaned
"All right all right I'm sorry we cool now?" Caleb asked his friends
"As cool as Sandpit is" Will said
"Ok let's head back we should be there for the end of the play Hay lin said with a smile
"Ok hold on though" Naruto said as he looked at the three kids who were happy to be reunited "you all OK?" he asked them
"yea we should be OK now Mr sorcerer" the little girl said with a nod
"Good now go home your parents are probably worried sick, but before you go here" Naruto said simply as he waved his hand and made three chocolate bars appear in his hands which he gave to the three kids
the three kids smiled at this before they ran off
"Told you I'd get the kids chocolate" Naruto said to Caleb
"Hope you have more for the other kids back at base" Caleb said with a nod of approval
"Oh I got lots" Naruto said with a smirk as he made a sling portal for them
"hey I'm curious when will Caleb get a sling ring?" Taranee asked curiously as they all entered the portal
"When he earns it by getting a hit on auntie" Naruto said with a smile
"so never" Irma said with a smile
this got laughs from everyone but Caleb who rolled his eyes as they all left the area amd arrived behind the school and Naruto closed his sling portal shine the girls turned back to normal
"You all are ones to talk, she took you all down with a finger… she took him down with 2" Naruto said with a smile
"And you?" Caleb asked curiously
"2 whole hands, I'm lucky i got a hit in at all and earned my sling ring." Naruto said as he rubbed the back of his head the memory of the lumps he earned from that fight
"I'm just hoping the play went OK" Will said as they all entered the backstage area
"I'm sure it went fine right grandma" Hay Lin asked Yan Lin as she turned to look at them
"well…"Yan Lin said as the clones came over to them covered in water
"oh jeez" Naruto said with a chuckle at this as he knew there wasn't any water in this play
"Astral drops" Yan Lin said making the clones disappear
"what happened?" Irma asked Yan Lin with a panicked tone
before Yan Lin could respond miss Knickerbocker walked past the curtains and glared at them
"Oh wow it must be bad" Caleb said as he saw she was wet and covered with glitter
"Congratulations girls you all have earned detention for the next week!" Knickerbocker said with a unamused look on her face
"And this is why I don't trust copies" Naruto muttered
"Yea they are not worth the trouble" Caleb said with a nod of agreement while the girls groaned
