Yep…another fic from yours truly. When will I learn to not write more fics instead of continuing any of my other fics?

Anyway, I blame Everpeach for this.

Chapter 1 – A Lucky Start

I don't own anything except some stuff

Have you ever wondered what would happen after dying? I always thought that I would either be reborn as an animal or go to the void or some edgy shit like that.

But apparently, it's actually related to being reborn in the world of a game or movie that you have played or watched. For me? Its Pokémon...but since I was, and still am, a horny dude, I decided to replace all the sprites with Moemon. The romhack turns all Pokémon into cute anime girls that take on some of their appearance and powers from their games.

I was 19 when I died. I still had 3 years in college, but I didn't really care that much about it. It was a normal day...the sun was shining, and the birds were singing...and then Truck-kun came. I never really understood how a truck was able to crash into the house from the sky, but somehow he did. And he killed me.

So now I'm here, in Twinleaf, my hometown...did I mention that I'm in Sinnoh where the most terrifyingly sexy champion is? At least Barry isn't here...I would have lost my sanity by now if he were here.

Anyway, the age for Moemon trainers to start their journey is now 18 instead of 10. And apparently, Humans and Moemon relationships are very normal. Mostly for men and female Moemon.

And now that I have turned 18, it's time for me to spread my wings, metaphorically of course. So here I am, a man with nothing but a backpack full of supplies and a Moedex with me. My starter Moemon is still a mystery, but I can take a guess since it's highly possible that it's the usual water, fire, and grass starter Moemon.

Knock! Knock!

"Are you awake yet?" I blinked as I turned from the mirror and smiled.

The one who called me is a green haired woman with a beautiful white dress. In addition, a red horn is embedded at the center of her chest. This is Luna the Gardevoir. My family's caretaker acts as my second mom. Thankfully, I don't have the main character syndrome where the mom is dead or something.

"What is it, Luna?" I asked. She looked a little troubled as she said.

"I think I may have forgotten your breakfast." She said, I sweatdropped as I realized that she's still wearing her oven mitts. "T-That's fine, Luna." I chuckle as I move to her and give her a hug. "I'm still full of energy!" And that's a fact. I'm gonna start my adventure as a Moemon Trainer, after all!

"I...see." Luna replied with a soft smile.

Luna has been with me ever since I was born. As such, we have a close bond that could rival any siblings. It doesn't really help that she acts like an older sister/mother. I remember when she was a Kirlia back in my early days...man, I wished I had been there when she evolved into a Gardevoir.

"Are you sure, Nik?" Luna asked again, calling me by my nickname as she returned the hug. "You have to prepare for your journey after all."

"I'm fine," I roll my eyes. "Makes me wonder if you would prefer being my mom."

"I can't help it," Luna giggled. "You remind me so much of your father."

I smiled at that. I rarely see my dad since he's busy at work, but he's always a loving father who always has time for us. "I can handle myself, Luna. In fact, I'm more worried about Mom."I smiled wistfully. I know she has you and Buns, but still..."

Luna nodded at that. "She'll be fine." She assured me.

I nodded as I let go of her. I then look at the door where a brown-haired woman was looking at me with a cheerful smile. She is wearing a tank top and some tight shorts. As always, she wears simple...but she always somehow finds a way to make it look sexy. Not that surprising given how curvy her body is. Oh, and she also has a pair of long rabbit ears.

Yes, she's a Lopunny. Given that Luna is a Gardevoir and Buns is a Lopunny...yeah, I think my old man has some...unique tastes that many people back in my old world would love. Basically, he loves Poképhilia. But since it's Moemon, it's fine...I think.

"I hope you're ready, Nikky boy! You need to leave soon if you want to reach Jubilife City by sundown!" Buns said cheerfully.

"I will, Buns." I nod to Lopunny and grab her to hug both her and Luna at the same time.

The two of them chuckled as they returned my hug. I took a deep breath as I said, "I'll miss you guys." I said to them, "I'll make sure to call you guys when I'm at Jubilife. Of course, that's after I grab my first Moemon." I grin.

"And I'm sure you'll do fine." Luna giggled.

"Make sure to call us if you get some girls, too!" Buns smiled. I blushed as I heard that. "What? It's inevitable, Nikky! Look at this handsome face! Why I bet you'll make any Moemon fall for you in a second!"

"Uh, Buns..."

"Hell, I won't be surprised if you come back home with a harem!" Buns grinned.

"Buns!" I cried out.

"Oh, you're so adorable when you're embarrassed!" Buns laughed as she hugged me tighter. She giggles as she plants a kiss on my head. "But seriously though, you're gonna end up like your father, you know? A wonderful man with a loving family."

"Yes, so you'd best save up on money." Another voice, this time its my mom's. She walked towards me and smiled sweetly. "After all, a Trainer like you could end up having a really big family. You'll need a big house in the future for you and your Moemon."

"Y-Yeah..." I coughed as I scratched the back of my head. "Like father, like son." She chuckled as she hugged me. "You remember how I told you I fell in love with your father? Well, that's what you'll experience with your Moemon."

I chuckled. 'Well, based on what I heard in your bedroom a few years ago when dad came back home...yeah, I already have an idea.'

"Oh, shush, Angie! Nikky's gonna be a better man than his dad ever will! You know he'll make sure every one of his Moemon will be happy!"

"That's true." My mom nodded. "But remember, Dominik. The first step to a good relationship is trust."

"And a good experience in bed~!" Buns boldly added with a grin.

"B-Buns!"

"Well, it's true, though!" Buns chuckled. "You need to make sure your girls will feel good when they're in bed with you!"

"Buns, please, stop..." I groaned as I attempted to hide my face. "Hey, try to find Buneary and a Ralts." Buns grins as she hugs Luna, pushing their breasts together. "Then you'll have your very own Lopunny and Gardevoir in the future! They'll make the best team!"

"Oh, Buns..." Luna blushed as she giggled at that. "Please, don't tease him so much."

"Ah, come on! You know you love it! I know I do!" Buns laughed as she pecked Luna on the cheek.

My mom sighed. "I think you spent too much time with Andrew..."

"Aw, come on!" Buns laughed. "I didn't hear you complain when he was manhand-mmph! Mm...~" My mom then proceeded to silence Buns with a kiss. I look away as I attempt to calm myself down from their antics. 'God...I love my family, but why must you make it so hard for me?! I may be an adult mentally but I have a teenager's body!'

"Okay, we better get going before it gets late." Luna quickly grabbed me and dragged me out the door. I waved goodbye to my mom and Buns as we left our house.

"I swear, mom and Buns are going to kill me..." I muttered. Luna giggled at that as she shook her head. "It's fine. I'm sure they're just...excited."

"I still can't believe that Buns are acting like that."

"You grew up with her, Nik. It's only natural." Luna said. "And I can say that your father's...affections might've rubbed off on her."

"Please, don't remind me of that..." I groan. "It's bad enough that Buns is really open with her lewdness. I don't need to imagine what dad does in bed."

Luna giggled as she patted my back. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be a good man that'll treat your Moemon right." She turns to the garage and uses her Psychic to open it and float my bike out. "I also made you some sandwiches." She gave me a lunch box.

"Thanks, Luna." I smiled as I put it in my bag. "I'll be sure to enjoy them a lot."

"Do be careful on your journey," Luna said with a soft smile. "There are many dangers in the world."

"I'll be fine, Luna," I replied confidently. My eyes gained a glint as I looked to the sky. "I'll be the best Trainer ever. You'll see."

"I'll make sure to tell that to your parents." Luna giggled as she gave me a hug. "Now go and have fun! Just don't forget to call us every once in a while!"

"Yeah!" I got on my bike and grinned. "See ya later, Luna!" I ride my bike away from my house. Luna smiled as she watched me ride off into the distance.

"Oh, yeah!" I blinked as Luna teleported herself to the side of the road, surprising me. "Don't be surprised if you find more Moemon back at home when you visit us," she giggled. "Apparently, Andrew got a new Moemon."

I groaned. There's Luna the Gardevoir and Buns the Lopunny, to complete the trifecta, it has to be...

"Is it a Vaporeon?" I asked.

"Nope." Luna grinned. "It's a Delphox."

...

...

...

Fuck.

"Figures..." I muttered. "Well, I'll be sure to make a stop back home in a few months." She nods as she teleports away.

"I swear to everything that is holy, dad...if this world wasn't Moemon, I would've cursed you for ruining Pokémon for me." I muttered under my breath. I then took a deep breath. "It's fine. There are no such things as Poképhilia here. Especially since all Pokémon are Moemon...calm down..."

I looked to the road ahead and smiled. My first destination to get my starter Moemon? Sandgem Town. And hopefully, a nice girl.

"Alright. Time to start my journey!" Gripping the handles tightly, I begin pedaling faster, leaving a trail of dust behind. 'Sandgem Town's just near home. Unlike Jubilife City, it'll only take me about half an hour at most.' I thought as I grinned. 'Let's see what the professor has for me!'

25 minutes later

As expected, I arrived at Sandgem town within minutes. I slowed down in front of a large blue roofed building with a white exterior. The sign on the wall says 'Moemon Lab'. I smile as I park my bike nearby before walking in. The interior is all white, plain and simple but with a plethora of equipment lying around.

'I swear, I could feel the stereotypical protagonist vibe right now...' I shake my head. 'But hey, its the Moemon World. A little cliche won't hurt anyone.'

"Excuse me." I called out to the nearest scientist that's currently doing something on his computer. He paused as he looked up to me. "Oh! Hello there!" He gave me a friendly smile. "You must be Dominik, the newest Trainer."

"Yup!" I nodded. "I'm here for my Moemon!"

"Ah, yes! We have them waiting for you at the back." The scientist stood up before pointing his thumb to the door behind him. "Professor Rowan is outside the garden at the back. The Moemon wanted to play with their 'grandfather' so much that they went out." He chuckled as we walked through the door and walk throuh the hallway towards the garden. "There are plenty of Moemon in the garden. All of them are friendly and eager to go out and help someone like you."

"So I can just choose one of them?"

"Yeah," he nodded as we entered the garden. "They all know what's going on, so you don't need to worry about anything."

I nod. "Thanks, sir!" I run towards the garden and blink at the sight before me.

A bunch of Moemon were running around playing with each other. Some were sitting under a tree as they read books while others were relaxing at the lake nearby. As I walked in, I was immediately noticed by the Moemon as they gathered around me. They chatted excitedly amongst themselves as they eyed me with curiosity.

"Hmm? Looks like the time passed by quickly." An old voice said.

I looked at the source and saw an older man with gray hair and beard. His eyes held wisdom as he smiled at me. He wore a white lab coat over a blue vest and black tie. He also wore a pair of black pants and shoes.

He walks toward me, looking at the Moemon as they look back at him with respect and adoration. "Welcome, young Trainer." He greeted me with a cup of coffee in hand. "My name is Professor Rowan. I hope you don't mind the delay."

"Dominik, sir." I replied respectfully before shaking my head. "It's fine, sir...they're all really cute..." I whispered, gently rubbing the ears of what I assume is a Buneary given her long brown ears. She giggled as she nuzzled my palm.

Rowan chuckled as he took a sip of his coffee. "Of course. They are Moemon after all." He smiled as he pointed at the Buneary next to me. "Every Moemon you see here is all willing to join you on your journey."

"Even this Buneary?"

The Buneary nodded. "Uh-huh!"

I nodded before taking a deep breath. "So, I just need to pick one of them, right?" I asked. Rowan nodded. "Choose whoever you want, Dominik." He turned to the crowd of Moemon, all of them eager with shining eyes. "These Moemon are all ready for a new trainer, so you don't have to worry about anything."

"Okay..." I nod before smiling at the group of Moemon. "I'll pi-" I pause, my gaze caught by the enchanting figure emerging by the pond. She looks up at me curiously. Her hair, a cascade of golden waves, gleams with the soft glow of twilight reflecting off the calm waters. Her golden scales mirror the tranquil lake, creating a mesmerizing effect with every subtle movement.

Walking towards her unconsciously, I stared at her red eyes—the light shimmers brightly, as if an ethereal being were hiding within the depths of her iris. And then, as our eyes locked together, her lips turned upward into a shy smile.

"Hmm...the first time she didn't dive down when someone approached her." Rowan mused.

The Moemon tilted her head as she stood before me. "Hello." She greeted me with a shy yet curious voice.

'Wait...' I blinked. 'She's...a shiny Magikarp!' My eyes sparkled as I slowly kneeled in front of her, holding out my hand as an offering. "Hey there," I smiled. "What's your name?"

She didn't reply, instead staring at my hand. She hesitantly raises her hand and places it on my palm. Blinking, she turns to me with curiosity.

"My...name?" She mumbled softly before turning to Professor curiously. "I don't have one..." She whispered before looking up at me. "Will you give me one?"

I blinked before turning to Professor Rowan. He just nodded and stood beside me. "As you can see, she's a shiny Magikarp. It's a one-in-a-million chance that she was born as such," Rowan explained. She's very shy. The others try their best, but..." He gently rubbed the head of a girl with long brown ears and tail. She pouted as she glared at the water type.

"But we can't get her out of the lake!" She complained.

Rowan chuckled as he patted the Eevee's head. "Don't worry, little one. You'll eventually be able to convince her." He assured her. The Eevee sighed before smiling again. She then looks back at me with a hopeful look. "Please help us! We want to play with her so much!"

"And since you seem to have taken a liking to her," Rowan said as he looked back at me before holding out a Moeball to me. "I believe she should accompany you on your journey." He smiled.

Staring at the Moeball, I turned to the Magikarp, her name unknown, and nodded. "Alright." Taking the ball from the professor's hand, I smiled. "Tiamat," I grinned. "Your new name shall be Tiamat."

The Magikarp blinks as she touches the Moeball. "Tia...mat..." She mumbled before looking up at me. "Is it okay?"

I smiled as I hold her hand. "Of course, its okay." I replied. "It's your name after all. And no matter what happens, I'll always accept you."

Did I pick her because she's shiny? That's one reason, but the other reason is because she's going to evolve into a Gyarados in the future. She may be extremely weak now since she's a Magikarp, but once she evolves into a Gyarados, she'll be a powerhouse. The only problem will be how she fights, but that's a problem I'll cross when I get there.

Tiamat smiled at that before nodding. "I like it!" She lowered herself under the water before jumping up and splashing me. I fell on my butt with a surprised yelp while the other Moemon laughed. Tiamat giggled cutely as she got out of the water. "My name is Tiamat and my Trainer is Dominik!" She declared proudly.

"I think this marks the first time I've seen her jump out of the water!" One of the Moemon cheered as they all gathered around me. "Welcome to our world, Dominik!"

I couldn't help but laugh along with them. I smiled as I reached out my hand to Tiamat. "So, ready for your adventure?" I asked.

"Yes!" Tiamat exclaimed happily as she took my hand.

Professor Rowan chuckled as he watched us. "Ah, youth." He took a sip of his coffee. "I'm excited to see how far you'll go, Dominik." He gave me an encouraging smile. "Now then, are you planning to travel anywhere else?" He glanced at one of his many assistants and nodded, making them nod in return before returning to the lab.

I thought about it before nodding my head. "Yeah, I just need some supplies and then I'll head out to Jubilife City." I said. "Hopefully I can catch another Moemon there."

"You'll need a Moedex with you." He said as he walked past me. "Follow me, Dominik. You too, Tiamat."

"Okay!" Tiamat cheered as she grabbed my hand and, with surprising strength, dragged me away from the group of Moemon.

We returned back to the building where the Professor showed us to a room with a bunch of shelves filled with boxes. Inside one of the boxes, I saw a white device that looked like an old phone. It has the symbol of a Moeball and a small screen on it. "This is a Moedex," Rowan explained as he pulled one out.

"It is a special item given to all starting Trainers such as you."

As if on cue, the entrance to the lab opened and in came a young woman. She was dressed in a pink dress, which featured a white collar and two horizontal purple stripes, paired with a short, black undershirt. Her skirt swayed as she moved, matched in color to her scarf, and her thigh-high black stockings led to a pair of pink boots, ready for any adventure. A white beanie, proudly adorned with the Moeball symbol, was topping off her ensemble, sitting atop her long, wavy blue hair. Her bright blue eyes sparkled as she ran towards us.

This is clearly Dawn.

"Professor!" She called out with a cheerful wave. Behind her is a girl with bright blue eyes, vibrant wavy blue hair wearing a Piplup hat, a blue dress adorned with ruffles and layers that is the same color as her hair, blue cape, and yellow heels.

Blinking, she paused, her gaze focused on Tiamat before...

"Ah! She's finally out of the lake!" She pointed at Tiamat before rushing to hug her. "Thank you so much for getting her out!" She thanked me as she nuzzled her cheek against Tiamat.

'I thought only cats could do that...'

"Uh, sure..." I nodded as Tiamat blinked before blushing lightly as she giggled.

"Hehe~!"

Rowan smiled before faking a cough to grab our attention. "Dominik, this is Dawn and her Piplup, Piper. They're my personal assistants..." He paused before patting Piper's head. "Mostly Dawn, though. The others would rather spend time playing than doing their jobs."

Piper pouted at that. "Grandpa!" She whined.

"Haha!" Rowan laughed. "You know it's true." He turned to me and placed the Moedex in my hand. "This will be your guide through the journey. It has plenty of information about the world, Moemon moves, and Types." He gave me a thumbs up. "It can also scan the Moemon you caught or even find some that are nearby!"

I nod as I look down at my Moedex before putting it in my bag. "Thanks, professor."

"Don't worry about it, Dominik." Rowan smiled before turning to Dawn. "I would appreciate it if you would help Dominik out, Dawn. He's a new Trainer, after all."

"Leave it to me, Professor Rowan!" Dawn cheerfully said as she saluted him with Piper doing the same in a more childish manner.

Rowan chuckled at that before he looked at his watch. "It seems like you have to leave now if you want to arrive at Jubilife City before sundown." He patted my shoulder. "Good luck, Dominik. If you need anything, just call me using your Moedex." He turned to Tiamat and smiled. "And you too, young lady. Help your Trainer as much as you can, alright?"

Tiamat nodded. "Yes, grandpa!" She smiled brightly as she turned to me, her red eyes shining with excitement. "Come on, Dominik! Let's go on an adventure!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the lab. I chuckle as I pull her to me, leaning down with a small smile on my lips. "But first, call me Nik, Tiamat. My name's a bit of a mouthful and I prefer having something simpler."

Tiamat blinked before smiling back. "Okay! Come on, Nik! We have to go now!"

"Easy there, Tia!" I laughed, while quickly giving her her own nickname, as she dragged me out of the building. Behind us, I could see Dawn giggling as she and Piper trailed behind us. "Jubilife city is a couple of hours away." Dawn stated as she rummaged through her bag before holding out 5 Moeballs to me. "Take these Moeballs and I'll teach you how to catch a Moemon."

Ah, to think I would hear these words instead of reading them on a tutorial screen.

"Alright. So, what do I do?" I nod as I grab the Moeballs. I might as well play along and let Dawn guide me through. I'm supposed to be a new Trainer, after all.

The only problem is...

"Tiamat," I turned to my shiny companion and smiled softly. She's a Magikarp, so she's weak. I'm worried if she even has any experience in combat. Since she has only stayed in the lake for who knows how long, I doubt she would have any real skills.

'So, its up to me to train her...' I thought as I looked down at the Moeball in my hand. 'I better start making some plans.' I turned to her and gave her a confident smile. "Ready to get stronger, Tia?" I asked her.

Tiamat blinked at that before nodding. "Uh-huh!" She smiled happily.

Dawn smiled at this. "Great!" She then began to explain to me about capturing Moemon. She even showcased Piper. And by showcase, I meant Piper literally just stepped up and puffed her chest in pride.

"Isn't she cute?" Dawn squealed as she hugged Piper tightly.

I nodded. "Yeah." I agreed.

Piper pouted. "Hey! That's not what you said last night!" She whined, her arms flailing as she tried to escape Dawn's tight hug. Dawn rolled her eyes as she giggled at that. "Oh, don't mind Piper, Dominik." She smiled as she held Piper with both her arms like a stuffed toy. "She likes it when I spoil her."

"No! I hate it when you're treating me like a child!" Piper argued.

"And yet you acted like one," I replied with a flat look. Piper flinched at that before pouting adorably. "I hate you...you're a meanie..." She whispered, making me chuckle as I stepped forward and patted her head. She blinked before blushing as she looked away. "Hmph! I hope you don't get another Moemon." She muttered, causing Dawn to laugh. "You're so cute, Piper." She grinned before planting a kiss on Piper's cheek.

Piper blushed before glaring at me. "Whatever. You'd better make sure your Moemon is better than mine." She glanced at Tiamat. "I don't want to fight Tiamat. That golden princess is too weak for me." She muttered as she crossed her arms cutely. "At least until she gets stronger...then maybe we can battle..."

Ah, what a cute tsundere.

"I'll get stronger!" Tiamat huffed as she looked at Piper with a challenging stare. "Just watch me, Pippi!" She stuck her tongue out at Piper who growled in response. "What did you call me?!"

"That's enough, you two," Dawn sighed as she patted Piper's back. "Come on, Nik, let's go!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the lab. "If we hurry now, then we should reach Jubilife city in time for dinner!" She added.

As we left Sandgem town towards route 202, I turned to Dawn and nodded. "So, what's your goal? Do you plan on beating all the gyms and aim to become the Champion or...?" I trailed off, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Well, I don't really plan on becoming the Champion or anything like that." She chuckled as she looked up at the sky. "I want to become a professional Moemon Coordinator and participate in a lot of contests..." She paused before grinning. "And I might even go beyond that and be an idol!"

That's new...out of all the possibilities, becoming a Coordinator and an idol isn't something I expect to happen. Though it fits her since I'm pretty sure Dawn will be one of those popular idols who could do everything perfectly. 'A girl with looks, talent, and charisma...' I thought as I looked at Dawn from head to toe. 'I wonder how she'll end up in the future.'

"Hmm?" Dawn blinked before turning to me curiously. "Is there something on my face?" She asked innocently.

"Nope. I was just thinking." I said with a shrug. You're pretty cute yourself, and you're really confident." I gave her a thumbs up. You're helping me out here by guiding me through the basics, not to mention the fact that you're accompanying me to Jubilife City." I smiled. You got the looks, you're confident, and you're a really good person. You're pretty much checking all the boxes for becoming a successful idol."

Dawn blushed lightly at that before looking away. "W-Well, thank you..." She mumbled shyly before shaking her head. "B-But anyway! We need to focus on getting to Jubilife City! And we also need to make sure that Tiamat gets stronger!"

Tiamat pouted at that but didn't say anything else. Instead, she took hold of my hand and gripped it tightly. "Let's go, Nik!" She smiled sweetly, her eyes filled with determination. "I'll get stronger and beat Pippi!" She declared proudly, causing Piper to scowl at her. "Don't get cocky, Goldfish! And its Piper, not Pippi!" She cried out, her cheeks red with embarrassment.

"Now, now," Dawn giggled as she held Piper close, hugging her comfortingly while petting her head. "They're just playing around." Piper huffed before leaning closer to Dawn, obviously enjoying the hug. "I'll show her...when we fight, I'll win..." She muttered as she nuzzled Dawn's shoulder before glaring at Tiamat. "Hurry up and get stronger already!" She demanded.

I chuckle at their antics as I give Piper a headpat. "Calm down, girls. No fighting until we get to Jubilife. And besides, you can train with Tiamat." I said as I smiled at her. "If you help Tiamat get stronger, I'll repay you with..." I paused, thinking before snapping my fingers. "How about some poffins at Jubilife City? There should be a bakery or a Poffin House somewhere."

Immediately, Piper's eyes sparkled as she nodded rapidly. "Really?!" She asked excitedly. I nod. "Sure. We can eat together once we get there." I grin as I look at Tiamat. "We have to celebrate your first day as my Moemon, after all."

"Okay!" Tiamat cheered happily while Piper blushed as she looked away. "Fine, I guess I can help out." She whispered, earning a giggle from Dawn. "Oh, you're so cute when you act like that, Piper~!"

"Not as cute as me!" Tiamat countered before sticking her tongue out towards Piper. "Bleh!"

Piper gasped, offended by such a statement, before turning to Tiamat with an angry glare. "Take that back! I'm cuter than you!" She shouted, causing Dawn to laugh. "You two are both adorable!" She said between laughs. "It's a shame that they hate each other." Dawn sighed. "They would've made a good team."

I chuckle as I hold her shoulder. "They don't hate each other, Dawn. Nothing wrong with a little rivalry." I then turn to Tiamat and Piper before smiling. "Besides, you'll see. They will become the best of friends eventually."

"Well, I hope so." Dawn smiled as she looked at us. "Now come on! Let's hurry up and get going!" She ran ahead of us, prompting me to roll my eyes before running after her. "Come on, you two, let's follow Dawn!"

"Okay!" Tiamat grinned before following us. Behind us, Piper huffed in annoyance but followed regardless. "Stupid Goldie..." She grumbled under her breath as she crossed her arms. "Just wait till I beat you into the ground..."

30 minutes later

"Okay, let's do this!" I called out to Tiamat as she hops into the pond that we stumbled onto earlier. On the opposite side is Dawn and Piper, with the latter holding a confident smirk while the former just smiled. "You sure about this?" She asked. "It's your first battle, after all..."

I shrug. "Well, better now than never." I replied as I stood beside Tiamat, who was staring intensely at Piper. "Let's go, Pippi!" She shouted angrily, causing Piper to growl. "It's Piper, not Pippi!"

"Ready or not, here we go!" Dawn chuckled as she clapped her hands together. "Alrighty, Piper! Hop into the water and use Bubbles!" She commanded. Piper nodded as she leaped into the water and aimed towards Tiamat.

"Tia! Dodge left!" I ordered immediately, making Tiamat move away just as a barrage of bubbles shot towards her direction.

"Again, Piper! Don't let her rest!" Dawn said.

Piper nodded as she sent another stream of bubbles toward Tiamat, forcing the goldfish girl to dodge again.

"Keep moving!" I shouted to Tiamat, observing how she reacts to the attacks. "Good job, Tia! Keep it up!" I praised her for keeping calm and focused on dodging the incoming bubbles. 'She's more agile than I thought...' I noted mentally.

"Get in close and use Pound!" Dawn instructed Piper. Piper grinned as she swam straight towards Tiamat, aiming to slam her fists into the Magikarp's face. However, instead of letting Tiamat hit her, Tiamat quickly ducked down and slammed herself upwards, launching Piper up and out of the water.

"Nice reflexes! Now us-"

"Bubble! Quickly!" Dawn cut me off before I could finish my sentence. Piper, while in midair, sent multiple streams of bubbles towards Tiamat who was still floating in the water.

'Damnit!' I cursed under my breath as I watched Tiamat take damage from Piper's attack. "Don't worry, Tia!" I encouraged her. "Swim around and try to confuse Piper!"

Tiamat nodded as she began swimming around randomly. Piper frowned in confusion as she tried to follow Tiamat with her eyes. "Tch! Come back here!" She yelled as she sent another barrage of bubbles towards Tiamat.

"Keep dodging and Tackle her!"

Tiamat managed to dodge them by swimming further into the middle of the pond before shooting straight at Piper. "Take this!" She shouted as she rammed into Piper with her head.

"Agh!" Piper grunted in pain as she flew backward through the air before landing hard on her back with a loud splash.

"Piper!" Dawn cried out. "Are you okay?!" She asked worriedly while running towards the edge of the pond. "I'm fine..." Piper groaned as she got back up. "But that stupid Goldie sure is fast..." She mumbled as she glared at Tiamat. "Hmph!" Tiamat stuck her tongue out at Piper. "Not bad, Pippi!" She teased, causing Piper to glare even harder. "Why you little..." She growled as she leaped out of the water and attempted to tackle Tiamat once more.

"Splash some water to her eyes," I told Tiamat calmly. Tiamat nodded as she splashed a huge amount of water in Piper's face. Piper stopped immediately and began rubbing her eyes in pain. "Ah! What was that for?! I can't see anything!" She screamed as she stumbled around blindly. "Tackle her again, Tia! Finish it off!"

Without hesitation, Tiamat swam towards Piper and slammed into her body. This time, Piper had no resistance whatsoever as she was knocked out of the water towards Dawn, who caught her gently. "Oh, poor Piper." Dawn sighed as she patted Piper's head. "You did well." She comforted her while hugging Piper close.

Piper blushed but didn't say anything else as she continued to rub her eyes. "I'll get you next time..." She mumbled quietly, making me chuckle lightly. "Thanks for helping Tiamat out, Piper. I owe you a lot of poffins." I leaned down and pat her head. "You too, Dawn. Thanks for helping me train Tia."

Dawn smiled and nodded. "No problem!" She then turned to Tiamat, who was smiling proudly at her victory. "Good job, Tia! You were amazing!" Dawn praised her. "Those Bubbles barely did anything to you."

"Hehe~! Thanks!" Tiamat giggled happily. She looked over at me and gave me a bright smile. "Did I do good, Nik?" She asked excitedly. I couldn't help but smile back as I gave her a headpat too. "You did great, Tia. Better than I was expecting." I admitted with a chuckle. "Come here."

Tiamat blinked before swimming closer to me. When she got close enough, I hugged her tightly. "Congratulations on winning your first battle." I whispered softly into her ear as I stroked her head gently.

"Mhm! Thank you!" Tiamat replied happily as she nuzzled my chest, making my clothes slightly wet. However, I didn't care about that as I hugged her tighter. I let go of her and patted her head. "Let's get stronger together, okay?"

Tiamat nodded vigorously. "Of course! I want to become stronger so I can evolve into a Gyarados! And then...and then..." She paused as she crossed her arms and tilted her head before shaking her head and looking up at me enthusiastically. "We get stronger!"

"Exactly." I chuckled as I grabbed her hand and pulled her up. "Now come on, let's get going." I took out my Moeball and turned to Dawn, who has the same idea as me. "Lets give these two some time to rest inside their balls. They did just finish a battle after all."

Dawn nodded. "Yeah, I don't want Piper to eat her poffins when she's tired." She giggled as she returned Piper into her Moeball before turning towards us. "You ready to go?" She asked as I pointed my Moeball to Tiamat. "Take a good long rest, Tia. Dawn and I will take it from here."

"Okay!" Tiamat smiled brightly before disappearing in a flash of red light. Afterward, I attached the Moeball to my belt. Dawn did the same with Piper's ball. "Alright! Let's go!" She said cheerfully as she ran forward. "Jubilife City is still a few hours away!"

"Lead the way, Dawn!" I called out as I chased after her.

The journey to Jubilife City was mostly uneventful with nothing happening aside from some wild Moemon sightings. There weren't any other Trainers around, which is fine since I don't really want to disturb Tiamat's rest after she just won her first battle. I'm pretty sure Dawn is relieved too. The only downside is that I wasn't able to catch any Moemon. Mostly because I still wanted to give Tia more time to rest.

I don't know if it counts for Moemon, but adrenaline dying down after a fight could be brutal. It might not even be physical exhaustion but mental fatigue.

4 hours later

Wiping some sweat off my cheek, I looked up to the tall buildings surrounding me. In front of me stands Dawn, who has been leading me through most of the trip while we talked about random things. "And then," She laughed between breaths. "Piper ate half of my breakfast and blamed it on the professor's Munchlax!"

I snicker. "And this is when you just got Piper? Must've been a rough start for both of you." I said jokingly, causing her to pout adorably. "Not funny!" Dawn huffed. "She kept blaming me for everything!" She exclaimed while crossing her arms.

"Heh, don't worry, Dawn. You're cute enough to win over anyone's heart." I grinned before taking out a bottle of water and drinking its contents. After wiping my lips dry, I turned to Dawn and pointed at the massive building before us. "So...where can I buy the poffins I promised Piper? There should be on-" I paused as I saw someone riding a bike pass by a building.

After a few seconds, I let out a heavy sigh as I hung my head down low.

"...I forgot my bike at Sandgem Town!"

AND CUT!

Despite the fact that I blame Everpeach for this, it was still a fun time to write…also, we need more Moemon fics!

Now first things first, Tiamat being a shiny Magikarp was a coinflip, both on being a Magikarp and a shiny.

Secondly, harem…because its Moemon and why not?

Anyway, I have a naughty P word if you want to support me. You know what it is!
