It had been two weeks after Webby's meeting with Indy and now she sat in her room with her doll thinking about it and she couldn't really let it go she had only known him for some minutes,but he had seemed so understanding,which she sometimes noticed that no one really was towards her,not even her own granny which was a weird feeling she never thought she would have.

Just then Scrooge came in and sat down on the bed and looked at her with a almost worried look.

"Lass are you okay?" He asked," You have been sitting here very long now , has something happened?"

She gave him a calming smile;

" Don't worry,Uncle Scrooge nothing is wrong"

Sadly that was a little bit of a lie,but she couldn't just tell him the truth she still hadn't told everyone about what happened in the park two weeks before, because she was scared at they would just treat her more like a defensless baby.

Then Scrooge stroke her over the head and said something unexpected:

"Well I planned to travel to Shanghai to find the ashes of a lost emperor,a little adventure do you want to come with,the boys are also coming".

He quickly added "You don't need to if you don't want but, I really want you to come Webby darling".

She thought about it and decided that she really wanted to get out a little and she hadn't got on a adventure in a long time and decided to ignore the boys's mocking,but they didn't do it all the time so she hoped they wouldn't do it now. And she was happy that Uncle Scrooge wanted her on this trip.

" Of course I come with you, Uncle Scrooge" She answered with a real smile since she was happy that he still was so nice to her and seemed to see her as part of the family.

" Scrooge smiled at her for that answer.

"That's great to hear,lass"

He walked out the room and left Webby a little hopeful.

Some hours later

They all were in the plane that now had lifted and even had Scrooge's car with them and Duckworth was even there to be their's driver in Shanghai when they arrived so they didn't need to pay any cab driver:( Scrooge's idea actually) and now they were on the way to their next adventure.

The kids sat with Scrooge as he explained the adventure:

" The ashes we are going to get are the chinese emperor Nurhaci the founding khan of the Jurich led-later Jin dynasty or also known by his temple name: Emperor Taizu of Qing."

The kids looked on a bit interested,but they mostly wanted the adventure to begin.

Huey turned to his brothers and asked: So are you ready?"

" Yeah!"They yelled and then walked away...without asking Webby which normally made her sad but now she actually felt anger.

" Can't they just stop treating me like air for once,just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm not part of this team so can't they just treat me like a equal?" She thought angriy really started to get annoyed,they talked and was nice to her sometimes but that was even short cases,most of her time they treated her like she was something toxic and she really started to wonder if they ever would change.

Some hours later in the evening they landed on a airfield a bit outside the city,the car got drived out and they entered it,outside the window Webby saw a big airplane that had four propellers and had a name on the close door which she never got a chance to read and they was inside the city.

She had never seen a city so full of life and so full of activity,people moved everywhere but she quickly turned to Scrooge and asked more about the thing they would get:

" So where are we going to get the ashes,Uncle Scrooge?"

He turned to her and answered:

"Actually someone has already found it but the person are going to sell it at a nightclub,and I am going to get it".

The children was confused and Huey asked:

"Wait why did you bring us then?"

Scrooge smiled warmly at them and answered:

"I just wanted to have you all with me,like always"

" Not everyone gets to join you every time" Webby suddenly thought with some anger which was very unusal for her.

They first drove to the hotel where they checked in and changed to tuxes(small pink dress in Webby's case she also had a bag with her other clothes) and then they drove to the nightclub which was named Club Qbi-wan which made the boys laugh because of the reference to two of their favorite movies.

" This is awesome!" Louie said before glancing at Webby and continued with:

" Webby do you think you can handle this?"

She looked at them her anger really started to rise now but she tried to keep it in check.

" Yes I can handle it" she answered so calmly she could.

She quickly walked inside with her doll in her hands,and came in to a club which was very pretty, a big open space for dancing and in front of that was a big fake dragon that seems to be the entrance to the stage, she has to admit it was a very nice club but sadly she didn't get to take in so long until someone bumped into her making her fall to the ground.

She saw a hand in front of her which she took and got pulled up from the floor.

" I'm sorry about that kid It was a accident".

" Wait that voice sounds famliar".

She looked up and saw a face she recongized and immedately said his name.

" Indy?"

The man looked closer at her and recongized her too:

" Webby?"

He smiled a little before he got a confused look:

" Wait what are you doing here?"

" I'm here with my honorary uncle to find something in shanghai"

" What are you looking for exactly?"

Before she could answer,Scrooge and the boys came in and immedately saw Webby standing with Indy and Scrooge got a little defensive.

" Hey leave her alone!"

Indy quickly held up his hands and calmly answered:

" Easy there mister I just bumped in into her and helped her up,she's okay"

Webby immedately defended him too:

" Yeah it was just a accident,but he helped me"

Scrooge seemed to calm a little and held out a hand to Indy who shaked it:

" Sorry about the reaction earlier my name is,Scrooge Mcduck,billionaire and adventurer".

" Indiana Jones,professor and archaeogist."

They let go and then Scrooge decided to ask about the reason they were here:

" Professor Jones,sorry if this question seems a bit weird but would you perhaps know a trade that is suppose to take place here?"

Indy studied him a bit but he decided to be a bit careful:

" What exactly do you mean?"

Scrooge sighed but came with the truth

" The ashes of Nurhaci"

Indy's love of history immedately got lighted and even if he heard what Scrooge was here for he couldn't help to ask facts about it:

" You mean the founding khan of the Jurachi dysnaty?"

" Yeah exactly! Scrooge excialmed excitely before he contiuned:"So do you know where it taking place?"

Indy got a worried look and he asked:

" Are you sure you really want this,someone really wants it,and the man don't really like to be told no to something"

Scrooge just looked at him with a look that could only be discribed as stone,nothing was going to change his mind which Indy noticed and gave up:

" Allright then follow me but can the kids just wait here please just in case?"

Scrooge realized that it would not be a easy trade as usual so he agreed to Indy's suggestion:

" Kids,wait here okay?"

They did that and luckily they would only see the end of the drama

Scrooge and Indy walked to a table that they sat down and just then the dragon head's mouth and a lot of dancers came out of it and began their's performance and then Indy turned to Scrooge wanted something clear:

" If I may ask why exactly did you bring kids here,this isn't a really a place for them"

Scrooge glanced at the kids and couldn't help to say the truth:

" I just wanted them with me, we are a team,and they deserve a break from adventure so I took them here for a type of vacation".

Indy had really no answer to that,for him adventure was the thing he loved,he of course loved to protect history but adventure was also a way for him to get recongized as something else then just the son to Henry Jones,he wanted to be his own person and maybe get something bigger out of it.

But then his client came walking to the table and sat down straight ahead of them.

" Lao Che, nice to meet you" he said in chinese.

Lao Che's eyes had a dangerous fire in them but he kept himself calm and answered:

" You never told me you spoke our language"

Indy was completely calm and said:

"Only on very special occasions"

Lao Che looked over at Scrooge and said wit a little supicion in his voice:

" Dr Jones,good to see that you kept your word,but I don't recall that you had a partner".

" He is not my partner, let's say he's after something here that we both see some value in"

Lao Che looked at Scrooge,and when he took a closer look at the duck he knew exactly who he was.

" Scrooge Mcduck I had not expected you to be in a place like this,doesn't seem like you".

Scrooge held a calm demanor,true it wasn't his type of action to get a treasure but it was a opportunity he simply couldn't miss.

" True this isn't something I do but it seemed like a good opprtunity to acquire something,but may I ask Dr Jones what did mr Che meant with " Keeping your word?"

Indy didn't answer he just looked at Lao Che who just wanted to get to the point:

" So it is true?,you found Nurhaci?"

Scrooge looked at him shocked,but Indy just looked at Lao Che and said without any fear:

" You know I did,last night one of your boys tried to get him and paid for it but I see that he is still functional"

His gaze aimed towards a man on the right side of Lao Che who had a bangage around his left hand,and Lao Che's next words had a tone of anger in it:

" You have insuited my son".

" No he has insiuted me,I spared his life". Was Indy answer,still calm.

Scrooge decided to get some answers now:

" Why didn't you say that you had the ashes in the first place?" He whispered to Indy.

Indy whispered back:

" Because the guy in front of us want it and he has promised me a big reward for it".

Lao Che examined their quiet exchange ,quickly whispered to one of his sons and decided to try to create a little dilemma between the two men:"Are you sure that two really don't know each other,I think you are willing to do anything to get your prize."

But before they could answer a woman in a stunning gittering dress came up behind Lao Che and leaned down behind him.

" Aren't you going to introduce us?" She said which he reactually did:

" This is Willie Scott" was his intruction and he then introuced his guests with their titles.

" These two gentlemen are Indiana Jones,famous archeologist,and Scrooge Mcduck billonaire,and legendary adventurer".

Willie walked to the other side of the table as she said:

" Well I always thought that archeologists always was funny little men searching for their mummys"

Indy offended leaned to her and corrected:

" Mumies"

"Dr Jones found Nurachi for me and he will deliver it to me,now".

Indy glanced and saw a gun aimed towards him and acted quickly, he grabbed Willie and held a shrimp cutter on her side.

" Put that down,sonny" he said threatly,but sadly a nasty surprise happened.

" Let me go!"

Indy and Scrooge looked to the sound of the voice and to their horror they saw one of the sons carrying Webby over his shoulder and then placing her next to Lao Che who quickly held a gun towards her.

" Webby!" Scrooge screamed in horror.

Lao Che just smiled and with a little laugh he said:

" Well seems like we both are in smilar situations,right Dr Jones?,And by the way you can do whatever you want to that woman,but would you really be able to handle that a innocent girl getting hurt?"

Indy knew immedately that he couldn't let this girl get hurt because of him so he asked:

" What do you want?"

" You know,just give me Nurachi and the girl gets free,and I will give you your payment and even a drink for your good behavior"

Indy nodded and picked up a crystal urn that his friend came with on a platter,he put it on the metallic desk that had the lamp and spun it towards Lao Che who picked it up and nodded acceptering,he then placed a little package and a glass on the table and spun it towards Indy.

"Here's your payment Dr Jones"

" Let her go" He said,trying to keep his fear away.

" Of course"

He snapped his fingers and Webby got released,Scrooge ran over to her and picked her up.

" Are you okay,dear?" He asked worriedly.

"Yeah" Webby answered, understandably shaken from what had happened to her.

Indy decided to take his drink and slowly drank it so Lao Che wouldn't hurt Webby again,he felt a little weird,the stomach acted a bit weird.

"How was the drink?,Dr Jones,would you die for another?"

He quickly realized what had happened: " Poison".

" So wise,but don't worry I have the antidote here( he showed a green little bottle) if you give me the Diamond"

Indy slowly picked up the Diamond and gave it to him,but then the waiter who had the urn earlier suddenly unexpectedly,a Gun under the trat he was holding.

"Wu Han,is a old friend,so the antidote,please without any thicks"

But then some champagne bottles popped and Wu Han collapsed into Indy's arms hit by a bullet from one of Lao Che's sons Guns.

Webby wanted to scream,or say something but no sound came,just silence,for the first time,Webby saw Indy in a clear panic:

" Don't worry Wu Han,I Will get you out of here",

Wu Han looked at him with a smile and answered:

" Not this time, Indy,I have followed you to many adventures, but in the great mystery, I Will go first".

And then Wu Han was gone.

Scrooge slowly started to back away,wanting to get Webby away from this madness,but then Webby got grabbed again.

Indy raised from his chair and took some wobbly steps while Lao Che and his sons laugh at him,but then without a warning,Indy grabbed some flaming food on a spear from a passing waiter and tossed it straight in the son on the right, which killed him at once.

This started a panic first by Willie who couldn't hold back her fear anymore,which spread to the whole club. That was the perfect distraction, Scrooge quickly pouched the man holding Webby,he grabbed her arm and began to pull her away towards the boys.

" We need to get out of here,kids!" He yelled to them and they quickly ran towards the stairs,but Webby quickly turned towards Indy,who tried to get the antidote,but the crowd made it almost impossible.

" Wait,uncle Scrooge, Indy needs our help!"

Scrooge just continued to pull her towards the exit:

" Lass we need to leave!"

Webby suddenly felt a small anger rise in her,she must help the man who had saved her four times,and no one was going to stop her.

" Let me go!" She yelled as she got out of Scrooge's grip and ran into the crowd.

" Webby!" Scrooge yelled as he tried to follow her,but the crowd forced him backwards without any room to move.

The girl ran through the crowd until she saw Indy on a Rolling cart trying to get the antidote but missed and went into the musician's place instead,Webby ran and helped him up and when he saw who it was,he got confused.

" What are you doing here,it's dangerous!"

" You have saved me four times,I think it's time that I help you".

He couldn't be more impressed by her bravery.

" Thanks,kid"

She smiled back:

" Don't mention it".

She then saw the antidote on the floor and crawled for it but it got kicked away.

Suddenly Willie Scott came crawling towards her and they met each other face to face each other with their own question:

Webby:" Have you seen the antidote?"

Willie:" Have you seen the Diamond?"

Webby ignored that and kept looking,but it was almost impossible in all the chaos,with people's feet running everywhere.

She saw the vial and crawled towards it,but once again it got kicked away in the crowd,but then someone pulled her up from the floor which of course was Indy.

" Are you all right?" She asked

" No"

Behind him came one of Lao Che's men but Webby reacted quickly,she grabbed a tray and tossed it at him,which hitted him and made him fall over,and knocked over an ice bucket and the contents covered the entire floor.

"NO!"

They turned towards the scream and saw Willie desperately searching for the Diamond in the ice pile,but instead she found a green vial.

" Stay there!" Indy yelled as he and Webby began to run towards her but then without a warning balloons started to fall from the ceiling making it hard to get forward,and even harder to fight for Indy,even if he was poisoned,but he still managed to fight back while he had Webby on his shoulders keeping her safe but then he saw one guy with a gun so he quickly jumped over a ledge and above him hangs a gong, when he saw it Indy quickly got a idea.

" Webby give me that statue's sword!"

She took it and he used it to cut down the gong they took cover behind it as the guy kept shooting at the gong they began to roll it so they had a moving cover,while they slow-ran behind it and towards Willie who Indy quickly grabbed as they kept moving towards a window.

" Indy, wait what are you doing?" Webby asked worriedly.

" Don't worry,kid!"

Willie really didn't like this:

" I don't wanna die!" She said as they jumped out the window,and here Webby finally screamed,letting out her fear that she kept in.

Scrooge, who still was trying to get inside, looked up towards the screams and saw three figures falling from the top floor and one was a little girl that looked like Webbigail.

" Wait what?"

He took a closer look and managed to see for a short second that it was her who fell into a car that drove straight under them.

Webby's scream continued all the way down to the car and she landed in the backseat together with the adults she quickly crawled to the front seat and then she heard a voice beside her:

" Holy smokes!crash Landing!"

She turned and saw a young panda boy sitting in the driver seat, which in some weird way didn't surprise her so much.

Indy quickly gave the boy orders:" Short Round,step on it!"

The answer became:

" Oki okiy,Dr Jones, hold on to your potatoes!"

Willie's fear changed to confusion a bit:

" Wait,a kid's driving the car?"

Then Short Round put the pedal to the metal ( she saw that he had some kind of blocks tight to his feet) and drove away,right in front of Scrooge,who looked horrified.

" Webby!" He yelled and quickly ran to his car that stood parked on the other side of the street,where the boys sat in and he himself jumped in to and yelled to his driver:

" Quick Duckworth,follow that white car!"

" As you wish,sir"

Duckworth started the car and drove after the white car who was now being chased by them,but also of Lao Che's men.

Webby meanwhile sat in the car driven by a child and couldn't really understand what's happening,some minutes earlier she just took it easy at the club and now she was in some car chase straight from a movie.

She quickly turned towards Indy,and saw that he finally had the antidote and drank it.

" How are you feeling?"

" Better"

Then a Gunshot was heard and of the back mirrors shattered,and more shots were heard,Webby quickly docked for cover and crawled down on the floor since it seemed to be the safest place.

Short Round screamed something in chinese,and then in english:

"Okay, you asked for it!"

He stepped down on the gas pedal,and then a man southend angry but she didn't know what he said, but her curiosity took over so she looked up and saw that the person that still yelled was a kind of driver who had a wagon in front of him with two people in it only that he was a few meters above the air.

Then he turned the wheel making the wagon and the people in it go right into a stand.

" This is fun!" The boy cried out.

" Hold this!" Indy said and gave Willie his Gun but she sadly dropped it,but then without really knowing how,Webby quickly caught it before it fell out of the car.

" Where's my gun?" Indy yelled to Willie,but before she said anything, Webby gave him the Gun.

" Here it is!"

Indy took it and was a bit impressed by her:

" Nice work,kid".

Now she really wanted some answers

" Can you please tell me what's going on?,I thought you were a professor, they don't have Guns,and don't shoot people which I think you did".

" I Will explain it later, when we are safe"

She decided to believe that,and soon they arrived on the airport she and the others had arrived in, they quickly exited the car and then a man came out of them:

" Ah Dr,Jones,we have managed to secure three seats,but it might be a bit inconvenience since you Will be riding on a Cargo plane"

" Is he kidding?" Willie yelled and under the talk,Webby saw four parachutes in the box and since she felt that something bad would happen she took them just in case.

They climbed aboard the plane and saw both Lao Che,and Scrooge come out of their respective cars.

" Webby!" Scrooge yelled as he and the boys ran forward just in time to see her climb inside the plane without looking back.

Indy however did and said,his voice full of triumph:

" Nice try,Lao Che!"

He closed the door but to Scrooge's horror,the man in front of him had his name on the plane door and the mentioned man spoke:

" Goodbye Dr,Jones!"

Scrooge ran towards the plane but it already began to move,and he couldn't do anything,so he quickly turned to Lao Che and as calmly he tried to be, he asked:

" Where are that plane going?"

He just laughed and asked his own

question:

" Why would I tell you anything?"

Just as he said that sirens was heard and cop cars parked and walked to them.

One of them went to the one who called them:" Mr mcduck,we are here" he looked at Lao Che and asked:

" Is this the man that threatened your figurative niece?"

Scrooge had a look full of hate as he answered:

" Yeah take care of him,but first he will tell me where his plane is going"

The cop recognized Lao Che now and put handcuffs in him and his sons:

" Wait this is the gangster we have chased in years,good work Mr Mcduck,now he can't escape"

The Richest duck's patience really started to run out. He went to the gangster,grabbed his suit and pressed him against the police car.

" Now You Will Answer Me,Where Is The Plane Going?" he said slowly with a threatening tone,which made him finally open his mouth and tell him.

" The plane is on the way first to Chungking and then to the Himalayas where it may be a little accident"

Scrooge gasped at this dropped Lao Che who got pushed in the police car,but he could only think about one thing,Webby was in danger.

He and the boys ran back to the car which got drived to their plane. The hatch stood open and they quickly drove in,where Scrooge climbed to the pilot who was asleep in the chair.

" Wake up,Launchpad!" He yelled and shook him which made him wake up and look at him still a bit tired.

" What is it,Mr Mcdee?" He asked.

"Follow that white plane!,Webby is aboard!,it's on the way to Himalayas"

" Okay!"

He started the engines and the plane moved forward, lifted into the air, left the airport and flew away,on the way after their missing family member.
