After I escaped Eggman's slate mine, I immediately decided to go back to Green Hill to reunite with my friends. The problem is that Green Hill is about 100 kilometers away. Usually, it takes almost a whole day to trek 100 kilometers, but because I have super speed, I reached Green Hill in less than an hour.
Sonic The Hedgehog reaches Green Hill almost an hour after he escaped Eggman's slate mine, only to discover that Green Hill isn't a green place anymore. Instead of palm trees, grass and flickies, it's instead a town filled with shops and homes. Sonic was obviously confused.
Sonic: Wait. Why is Green Hill so different than what it looked like when I got captured? Something's wrong about this. I swear my friends still live here. Why is there a town here too? I better check it.
Sonic proceeds to check out the town and he tries to ask some people on why is Green Hill different, but they all didn't respond.
Sonic: Hey, excuse me? Why is Green Hill so different and what is the name of the town?
Sonic kept asking people what is the name of the town before he met someone who answered his question.
Sonic: Hey. What name is this town?
Random Citizen: It's Reverend Town.
Sonic: Well at least you give me the town's name.
Sonic then started searching across Reverend Town when he came across Tails' Workshop. Sonic was understandably grateful at the sight of this.
Sonic: Tails' Workshop? Phew. Well, that means I can see my twin tailed buddy again after such a long time!
He promptly entered Tails' Workshop. Inside, Tails is working on something. Then, Sonic showed up.
Sonic: Hey lil' bro! Nice to see ya!
But Tails didn't respond. Sonic then decided to walk up to him.
Sonic: Hey Tails! Didn't you recognize me? I'm Sonic!
It was then that Tails finally responded. But it's for the wrong reasons.
Tails: Sonic?
Sonic: Hey buddy, it's me- *almost gets hit by a wrench thrown by Tails*
Tails: THAT IS THE LAST WORD I WILL EVER HEAR SONIC!
Sonic: HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE MY BEST FRIEND!
Tails: I DON'T CARE! YOU LEFT US BEHIND FOR MONTHS AND I AM SO MAD AT YOU FOR THIS!
Sonic: BUT I WAS CAPTURED BY EGGMAN REMEMBER? I DIDN'T DELIBERATELY LEAVE YOU BEHIND!
Tails: I WOULDN'T BE FOOLED BY A LIE YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!
Sonic: CALM DOWN TAILS! Just calm down.
Tails: WHAT IS IT?
Sonic: I'm sorry for leaving you behind. I wasn't aware of Eggman secretly plotting to capture me. But when I did... it was too late.
Tails: Eggman... captured you?
Sonic: Yes. Eggman did capture me.
Tails: So that's the reason I didn't see you for 9 months.
Sonic: Yep. That's how I ended up in this situation. But I need to go for now. See ya!
Tails: Wait Sonic! WAIT!
Sonic left Tails' workshop which understandably leaves Tails very sad. He immediately sat in a corner and started crying and covering his face with his gloves. Sonic then looked for Amy and continued wandering around the streets until he found Amy's pastry cafe. Sonic then walked to the one side and found a door which wasn't locked, so he promptly opened the door and found Amy.
Sonic: Amy? Hey Amy! What are you doing?
Amy: Wait... Are you Sonic? *Gets mad at Sonic*
Sonic: Amy... What are you doing?
Amy: SONIC! WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU ABANDON US?!
Sonic: Amy, please! It was an accident! It was a fucking accident!
Amy: WHAT ACCIDENT?
Sonic: Eggman captured me and I was stuck there for 9 months!
Amy: I WOULDN'T FALL FOR LIES! ARE YOU FUCKING LYING?!
Sonic: LOOK AMY! I'M NOT LYING! OKAY?
Amy: NOBODY WILL TRUST YOUR LIES!
Sonic: I SAID I'M NOT LYING!
Amy: Wait... you're... not... lying?
Sonic: Yeah. I was actually kidnapped by Eggman.
Amy: Wait... you really mean it?
Sonic: Yep. I was tortured by him for 9 months and I recently escaped today.
Amy: Jeez. That's actually heartbreaking.
Sonic: Yeah. I was living with the pain for several months. I became mentally fucking insane halfway through. I will have PTSD about that forever.
Amy: My gosh. It's... really tragic.
Sonic: It's unfortunate of course. I might as well go and check on Cream. Goodbye.
Amy: SONIC WAIT!
Sonic leaves Amy's pastry and she was heartbroken at the sight of her love interest leaving. She proceeds to sob and grabs a towel to wipe her tears. Sonic then continued to wander around before coming across Cream's home. Sonic promptly enters Cream's home and found her watching TV.
Sonic: Hey there Cream! How's life going...
Cream: Sonic? SONIC?!
Sonic: Cream, it's me- *gets stabbed in the forehead with a knife thrown by her* OW!
Cream: SONIC YOU FUCKING JERK!
Sonic: *pulls out knife and drops it* CREAM! WHAT ARE YOU MAD AT ME TOO?!
Cream: MR SONIC YOU LEFT US AND WENT MISSING FOR MONTHS!
Sonic: LOOK CREAM! I CAN EXPLAIN!
Cream: I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU! WHY DID YOU LEAVE US!
Sonic: EGGMAN CAPTURED ME! DON'T YOU REMEMBER?
Cream: ARE YOU MAKING THAT SHIT UP?
Sonic: NO, I DON'T! IT'S REAL I SWEAR!
Cream: Wait... what?
Sonic: You know that?
Cream: You... said that Eggman captured you?
Sonic: Yes. I was indeed captured by Eggman.
Cream: You... mean it?
Sonic: Well, of course. I wasn't focused on my surroundings. But I need to go. Goodbye.
Sonic leaves Cream's house and she was so sad about Sonic's message to her, that she almost began to cry. Cheese, her pet chao, gave her a blanket to wipe out her tears.
Cream: Wait... you got me a blanket?
Cheese: Chao...
Meanwhile, Sonic continued to wander around the place and somehow ended up on a pier. There, Sonic sees Marine, who travelled to Green Hill about 5 months ago. Unlike Tails, Amy and Cream, Marine is actually friendly to Sonic.
Sonic: Hey Marine.
Marine: Oh! Hello there mate! I just recently built a massive ship!
Sonic: Oh wow! I never knew you actually built this fucking big ship!
Marine: True. This ship can carry many people. It can also go fast because my friend Tails helped with the addition of fast engines.
Sonic: Nice work Marine! I just hope you actually have a good life!
Marine: Thanks mate!
Sonic then left Reverend Town to go to Angel Island to see Knuckles. Meanwhile, Evolto looks at Sonic and maniacally laughs.
