It was the middle of the night, Sky and his friends were at a pizza restaurant, having a great time.
"I must say, this pizza is really good." Jack said.
"Yeah. One of the best I've tasted." Bridge said.
"And something we can actually afford eating." Z said.
"Very funny you guys." Syd said.
"No worries. This is on us." Tyler said.
"Remember when mom and dad brought us here on occasions." Megan said.
"Yeah. Remember when we went to leave flowers for Sky's dad grave, while on our way there." Tyler said.
"I remember, dad saw you Sky, about to cross the street when a car was coming close by and my dad ran to save you from getting hit." Megan said.
"I remember, he asked me if I was okay and where my parents were, then my uncle Michael showed up wondering where I was. Then your dad asked if my uncle was my dad and he told him he was my uncle and that he should know better not to let a kid cross on his own, my uncle told him that I was just lost and you know what your dad said to him." Sky said.
"What?" Megan asked.
"To not let it happen again." Sky answered.
"Yup. That's our dad, he always sounded like a-" Tyler was interrupted.
"Tyler. Don't say it." Megan said.
"Sorry. I didn't mean it or if I would say it." Tyler said.
"Anyway, my mom was worried about me being lost and I shouldn't wonder off like that again." Sky said.
"Sounds like mom was protective of you." Andrea said.
"She was, though I couldn't blame her." Sky said.
"Hey, do any of know what time it is?" Jack asked.
"Yeah. It's...already eight." Tyler answered, looking at his watch.
"We better get going, its already late." Megan said.
"So do we. Come on, guys let's get going." Sky said, as they all got up and started heading their way to the clock tower.
When arriving, they were all at the clock tower and then heard RIC running downstairs and greeted.
"Hey RIC. Told you we'd be back." Sky said, and RIC barked happily.
"Well we're going to shower and call it a night." Jack said.
"Thanks for everything we had a good time." Z said.
"Glad you all did, we did too." Andrea said.
"We should hang out again some time." Megan said.
"Sure. Why not. And explore more too." Bridge said.
"We're not sure how long will be here, but hopefully longer." Syd said.
"If you say so. Come on, Megan and Andrea. Let's get going." Tyler said.
"Bye everyone. Take care." Megan said.
"Same to you three. Sky said.
"Bye, Sky. Come visit us." Tyler said.
"I will. Stop by here whenever." Sky said.
"Bye. We still have things to talk about with my dad." Andrea said.
"I know, it doesn't mean things will change between me and him." Sky said.
"Will see. You never know." Andrea said, and they both hugged.
"Bye Sky. Take care." Megan said.
"Bye. Same to you." Sky said, as they were heading their way out and everyone else went upstairs.
"Okay guys, let's get in contact with Commander Cruger." Bridge said, opening up the screen to communicate with Doggie and Kat then both appeared.
"Rangers. Glad to see you have contacted us." Doggie said.
"Anything so far on the criminal?" Kat asked.
"As of now nothing, no strange activity." Bridge said.
"He hasn't appeared around anywhere." Z said.
"So far it has been a regular day with no trouble going on." Syd said.
"He could be hiding his location so it wouldn't be easy to track him down, to wherever he's at." Doggie said.
"We don't know what else to tell you Commander, this criminal is impossible to capture." Jack said.
"Hate to say your right, Jack. For all we know is you all might be here longer than you expect it." Kat said.
"Cadet Tate, you haven't said nothing. Is there anything you want to say?" Doggie asked.
"As of now nothing." Sky responded.
"Rangers I would like to have a word with Cadet Tate. Dismiss." Doggie said.
"Sure. No problem, come on guys." Jack said, and they went out by the balcony.
"Commander. About yesterday I do apologize for walking out like that, I was out of words on how I was going to explain this to you." Sky said.
"So you were, though from what I know on the explanation that your fellow rangers has told us, you almost put other people's lives in danger in the hands of that criminal." Doggie explained.
"Especially if its about your other friends and your own sister, they shouldn't have been around when there was danger going on." Kat said.
"You don't know how disappointed we are in you Cadet Tate, a leader like you should know better not to let things like this happen to innocent people." Doggie said.
"I know and I'm sorry I felt like I have failed you Commander, even my team, but believe me I'm doing my best here focusing on the mission." Sky said.
"Though your not focusing enough, whatever it is that is affecting your mind on the mission, you have to put your personal life aside." Kat said.
"I understand, I won't let it happen again, I'll make sure they're not around when there is danger going on." Sky said.
"We hope you do, and make your cover isn't blown, they must not know your a ranger." Doggie said.
"Yes. You have my word, Commander." Sky said.
"Very well cadet, I am counting on your leadership, do not fail us or your team. Dismiss." Doggie said, as the screen went black.
"Okay you guys, you can come out now!" Sky shouted, and everyone came out by the door.
"I figured he would know." Bridge said.
"Told you guys it wasn't a good idea to eavesdrop." Jack said.
"How much did you all hear?" Sky asked.
"Pretty much everything." Z responded.
"Can you blame us? We couldn't help it." Syd said.
"Yes I do. In fact, Jack is right, it was all wrong of you to eavesdrop on my talk with Commander Cruger." Sky said, upset.
"Sorry Sky, don't get mad at us, you know we're all concerned about you." Bridge said.
"We know this is a bad time to mention this now, but you still haven't told us about what's been bothering you." Z said.
"As of now my mind is only going to be focused on the mission and nothing else." Sky said.
"That still doesn't answer Z's question, Sky." Syd said.
"You guys, don't pressure him into telling you all, when he has the time, he'll tell us." Jack said.
"Thanks for understanding, Jack. Now rest up you guys." Sky said, as they were all getting ready to sleep.
Meanwhile
Tyler, Megan, and Andrea were in the living room with Taylor talking to her about their day with Sky and his friends.
"We had great time with Sky and his friends." Andrea said.
"We all actually got along great, especially Tyler." Megan said.
"What does she mean by that?" Taylor asked.
"Well you see, I surprisingly got along with Sky's friend Z." Tyler answered.
"Really. Why am I not surprised." Taylor said.
"She turned out to be an okay person, and we both talked for a bit, I even apologized to her for being a bit of a jerk." Tyler said.
"At least you got along with her and got to know her." Andrea said.
"Sounded like you all had really good time." Taylor said.
"We sure did, mom." Megan said, when they heard Eric coming in.
"Dad. Hey. We were just telling mom about hanging out with Sky and his friends." Tyler said.
"We had a great time with them." Andrea said.
"Everything okay, Eric?" Taylor asked.
"I need to talk to you, its important." Eric responded.
"Tyler. Megan. Andrea. Go rest up, you can all tell your dad tomorrow." Taylor said.
"Sure. Night." Megan said, as they all went upstairs.
"Eric. What is it?" Taylor asked.
"I didn't come alone." Eric answered, and saw who was by the door, it was Carter.
"Carter. What a surprise." Taylor said.
"I know this is a bad time, but its important." Carter said.
"What is it?" Taylor asked.
"I was showing Eric blueprints of the building that was caught on fire years ago." Carter explained.
"You mean the one where Wes died." Taylor said.
"Yes. It shows there was no short circuit that would have started it like a fire should have." Carter explained.
"Wait, so your saying is that..." Taylor paused for a minute.
"Someone caused the fire to happen, in which it made it look accidental." Carter said, and Taylor was surprised hearing this.
