Silver Hills: Year 2026

Tyler, Megan, and Andrea came home seeing Eric and Taylor, waiting for them.

"Mom. Dad. Home already." Megan said.

"Work wasn't busy for us. We came early." Eric responded.

"What did you all do during the day?" Taylor asked.

"We hung out with Sky's friends and went to his grandfather's house." Tyler answered.

"His house has been locked since he passed away. How was he able to go in?" Eric asked.

"My dad gave him the keys to get in." Andrea answered.

"We explored inside, and well, it brought back memories." Megan said.

"We eventually found out what was in the room, that we were curious to know why it was locked." Tyler said.

"Yeah. When Sky opened the door, we were surprised to know it was his dad's room." Andrea said.

"Now we understood why it was locked." Megan said.

"And we knew there were pictures in there." Tyler said.

"It was the only thing you both were curious to know about." Taylor said.

"Well, we were right. There we found a box under the bed and Sky opened it." Megan said.

"Let me guess, that's where the pictures were." Eric said.

"Yes. And even a badge that once belonged to my mom." Andrea said.

"Oh yeah. I remember Sky's mom gave that badge to his dad when she and her friends were leaving back to the future." Eric said.

"I can understand why it did mean something to his dad." Andrea said.

"We were looking at the pictures of Sky's parents friends when they were young even one with both Sky's parents together." Megan said.

"He was happy to have found one with them together, plus to know how his dad looked like." Tyler said.

"The one mystery you both finally solved for Sky." Taylor said.

"It took you both since you were kids to finally find out." Andrea said.

"Now you know why we did have to lie to both of you about it." Eric said.

"We sort of understand now, we're sorry we got mad about it when we found those pictures in the attic." Megan said.

"You don't need to apologize. Your dad and I are the ones to apologize to both of you." Taylor said.

"Like I said before, we both don't want to keep secrets from you." Eric said.

"You're right, its not right to keep secrets for a long time." Andrea said.

"So, anything else you did afterward?" Taylor asked.

"Just out to eat then saw dad, Andrea's dad, and the Silver Guardians along with the power rangers in the front page." Tyler said.

"So I've been told, I did read about it." Eric said.

"That's pretty much how we spent our day." Megan said.

"If you say so, I was going to ask how you and Sky enjoyed an ice cream without us." Andrea said.

"You all said you were full from what we ate and didn't want one." Megan said.

"You both still had whipped cream on your noses and didn't wipe them off." Tyler said.

"We were teasing each other, and if you'll excuse me, I'll go still clean it off." Megan said and ran upstairs.

"She's not doing a good job in hiding what she feels." Andrea said.

"Even making it obvious, especially Sky too." Tyler said.

"Let them take their time. Eventually, they'll come around." Eric said.

Meanwhile

At the clock tower, Sky and his friends were done picking up around, then sat down on the table bench, feeling exhausted.

"That was one of the biggest mess we had to pick up." Jack said.

"Mostly more of Syd's stuff than ours." Bridge said.

"Majority of my clothes got dirty and most of them are dry clean only." Syd said.

"You still shouldn't have packed so much it's not a vacation." Z said while Sky was fixing up his bed and checked underneath his pillow, noticing the picture he kept of his mom and him when he was a kid wasn't there and was trying to look for it, the rest turned around wondering what Sky lost.

"Lose something, Sky?" Jack asked.

"Sort of." Sky responded.

"You want us to help you find what your looking for?" Z asked.

"No. It's okay, I can find it myself." Sky answered when RIC approached him, barking to get his attention having something in his mouth. "Not now, RIC. Can't you see I'm busy." RIC barked again, though Sky didn't turn around. "I don't have time to play fetch; go ask the others to play with you." RIC went by the rangers and saw what he had in his mouth.

"What you got there, RIC? Find something?" Bridge said and grabbed it from his mouth, seeing it was the picture Sky was looking for. "I wonder if this is what Sky is looking for?"

"Hey Sky! I think RIC found what you were looking for!" Syd said when Sky turned around seeing his friends looking at the picture and went by them.

"Don't you look cute here when you were a kid." Z said.

"This must be your mom there she looks beautiful." Syd said.

"How come you never showed us this?" Jack asked.

"Because it's not important, and you guys wouldn't understand." Sky answered and took the picture from Bridge's hand.

"Don't you think we tried to understand you." Bridge said.

"You just avoid not talking about it." Z said.

"And not give us any answers." Syd said.

"I'm going to have to agree with them, Sky. You have to start talking about it." Jack said.

"Why don't you guys just give me a break." Sky said and went walking by his bed.

"He is never going to tell us. Is he?" Syd said.

"Afraid not, Syd. Afraid not." Jack said.

"I don't know about you guys, I'm going to get some shut eye." Bridge said.

"You said it, all this picking up tired us up." Z said, and everyone went to their beds though Jack saw Sky sitting on his bed looking at the picture and didn't bother even wanting to ask.

Year 3025

Lucas, Trip, and Katie arrived at where Michael was now staying in an apartment since he sold the house where he once lived with Jen and Sky. They all haven't seen Michael since he heard about Jen's death and was sad about it, though she wasn't the only person he lost but also his parents had died a few years ago and had since distanced himself.

"So none of you had heard from Michael?" Lucas asked.

"Not since we told him about Jen, he was sad to hear about it." Katie answered.

"Haven't seen him since we got transferred. Didn't bother keeping in touch with us." Trip said.

"Might as well see if he's here and explain something that doesn't make sense." Lucas said, heading towards Michael's apartment door as he was about to knock when suddenly the door seemed to be unlocked.

"Looks like the door is open." Trip said.

"Probably wouldn't mind if we just go in." Lucas said, as they all went inside Michael's apartment, seeing it was dark and turned on the lights they were surprised to see it was ransacked.

"Oh my gosh! What happened here?" Katie said.

"Don't know, but something isn't right." Trip said.

"I'll say, wherever Michael is something, must have happened to him." Lucas said when Trip's phone started to beep and saw it was a message from Alex.

"It's Alex. He arrived at his apartment and is wondering why we haven't arrived yet." Trip said.

"We might as well get going, and I think we should tell him that Michael is missing." Katie said.

"Either missing or kidnapped, who knows what could have happened." Lucas said as they walked out of the apartment, then headed their way to the car and started driving their way to Alex's apartment.
