The Next Day

It was morning, the SPD rangers were done eating breakfast though none of them didn't want to say a word especially Sky knowing his friends are going to keep asking him and felt like not talking to them. Sky was sitting on his bed with the box he found in his dad's old room, he opened it and put the picture of him and his mom in there so it wouldn't get lost again.

"Hey Sky." Sky closed the box hearing his name and turned around seeing it was Jack behind him.

"What is it Jack?" Sky asked.

"Thought you and I should talk." Jack answered.

"There's nothing to talk about, Jack." Sky said.

"Yes, there is. You just choose not to." Jack said and sat next to Sky on his bed.

"You wouldn't understand. None of you guys would." Sky said.

"Mind if I ask what's in the box you have there?" Jack asked.

"Fine. I'll show you only because none of you will get tired of asking me the same thing." Sky answered and opened the box, showing him the pictures.

"Is this what you found in your grandfather's house?" Jack asked.

"Yeah. The answers I was looking for." Sky answered.

"Who are these people in the pictures?" Jack asked.

"My parent's friends and one picture of my parents." Sky answered, looking through the pictures.

"These are your parents?" Jack asked.

"Yes. I finally found a picture of them." Sky answered.

"You never had a picture of your parents?" Jack asked.

"No. Just that picture of my mom and me when I was a kid." Sky explained.

"What about this badge?" Jack asked.

"This was my mom's." Sky answered.

"Time Force. Was she a police officer?" Jack asked.

"Sort of. Well... she was a power ranger." Sky answered, and Jack was surprised.

"She was one too?" Jack said, still surprised.

"Yeah, so was my dad and their friends too." Sky said, then heard a noise seeing his friends eavesdropping.

"Bridge. I told you to get closer." Syd said, seeing Sky and Jack have noticed them listening in their conversation.

"It's not what it looks like." Bridge said.

"You all have really got to stop eavesdropping, I told you all I was only going to talk to him." Jack said.

"Sorry Jack, but it was getting interesting on what you were both talking about." Z said.

"You guys will never learn, will you?" Sky said.

"Come on, Sky. At least you opened up a bit about your parents." Syd said.

"Wouldn't hurt if we join you guys and see the pictures you were showing Jack." Z said.

"Sure. Why not. Get over here." Sky said, and they all came, even RIC too. "Yes, RIC, you as well." RIC barked happily.

"So these people here are your parents' friends?" Bridge asked.

"Yes, they are and even power rangers too." Sky answered.

"Even your your adorable picture when you were kid with your mom." Syd said.

"I just put that in there, so I wouldn't lose it." Sky said.

"There's just one thing that confuses me; your dad and step-dad look exactly a like." Jack said, and everyone started to realize it too.

"You're right, Jack. Sky. You did say your step-dad is Andrea's dad. How come your last names are different?" Z asked.

"I'm confused here, even if they look a like, doesn't that mean there twin brothers or something?" Syd said.

"If they are, then I'm going with Z here. Both yours and your sister have different last names, and your dad's also too." Bridge said.

"Okay, now none of this doesn't make sense here. Sky. No more avoiding it, just tell us and explain." Jack said.

"You're right, not like I have a choice." Sky said and took a deep breath when the phone started to ring. "Work calls. I better go answer that." Sky ran to answer the phone.

"Aww man! Why does it always happen?" Bridge said.

"Every time. Something has to interrupt." Z said.

"He was finally going to tell us. Now, we will never know. " Syd said.

"Hate to say you're right, Syd. I don't think we will ever know." Jack said when Sky reached and answered the phone.

"Hello." he said.

"Sky. Hey. It's me, Eric." Eric's voice was heard. "Knew you would answer. I need you to come over to my house it's important."

"Sure. I was just going to go by later, but I'm glad you called." Sky said.

"Just come alone don't tell your friends your stopping by my house, I can't tell you this over the phone." Eric said.

"Okay. I'll be on my way there in a few minutes. Bye." Sky said, and hung up, then saw his friends come down.

"Everything okay, Sky?" Jack asked.

"Yeah. Everything is good." Sky responded when someone came in. "What do you know looks like work is here. My friends will attend you. You guys, I'll be right back. I have to take care of something. See you later." Sky ran out the door on his way to Eric's house.

As he was almost arriving, he stopped for a minute then turned around thinking someone was following him, he kept on walking until he heard something turning around quickly seeing it was RIC behind a bush.

"RIC. Were you following me this whole time?" Sky asked, and RIC nodded yes. "Did they send you to spy on me?" RIC nodded no. "Okay. I believe you, but you can't let the others know I was here. Okay." RIC nodded yes. "Good boy." Sky walked up to the door and knocked, the door opened seeing it was Eric who answered.

"Sky. Glad you arrived." Eric said.

"Unfortunately I didn't come alone." Sky said, when Eric saw RIC behind him.

"I see that a friend of yours has followed you." Eric said, as RIC approached him. "So you remember me even if I wasn't in my ranger form."

"You had already met RIC?" Sky asked.

"Yes. After Alex and I along with the Silver Guardians took down those robots, I went by Tyler, Megan, Andrea, and your friend Jack to see if they were okay then just approached to me and Alex then greeted us." Eric explained.

"RIC. You must love greeting new people. Don't you?" Sky said, and RIC barked agreeing.

"Anyway, come in and your robot dog as well." Eric said, as both Sky and RIC walked in.

"So what was so important you had to tell me?" Sky asked.

"Why don't you see for yourself." Eric answered, going straight to the living room and was surprised to see his mom's friends Lucas, Trip, and Katie here.

"Don't know if you remember us?" Katie asked.

"We know it's been a long time since you last saw us." Trip said.

"We were good friends of your parents. I'm Lucas, this is Trip, and Katie." Lucas said.

"Of course I remember you all, how can I forget you." Sky said.

"Look at you, you've grown up so much." Katie said, hugging Sky really tightly.

"Okay! You can let go of me!" Sky said as he was barely breathing.

"Sorry. Reminds me of hugging your dad. Though your mom was right you do look like him." Katie said.

"So I've been told, and now I understand." Sky said.

"Been driving safe and good?" Lucas asked.

"Always have been, thanks to the best driving teacher." Sky answered.

"The good thing is that you didn't get a speeding ticket like he did." Trip said, when Lucas stomped on his foot.

"Oww! Lucas. I thought you stopped doing that." Trip said.

"And I thought you stopped saying stupid things." Lucas said.

"You two don't start and not in front of the young gentlemen." Katie said.

"Sorry." both Trip and Lucas said.

"You all haven't changed a bit." Sky said.

"Knew you'd be happy to see them." Alex said, with Andrea by him.

"I see your back already." Sky said.

"I'm trying to keep my word for both of you." Alex said.

"We also didn't forget about you. You've grown up so much." Katie said to Andrea.

"I remember you all as well. It's nice to see you all again." Andrea said.

"You really do look like your mom. It's a good thing you don't act like her." Lucas said.

"Actually, my brother is the one who has her attitude." Andrea said.

"Why does everyone say that?" Sky said.

"Because it's true. Like you're doing that glare she does." Andrea said.

"She's right, exactly like hers." Trip said when RIC came approached towards them and greeted himself.

"What do you know? It's a robot dog." Lucas said.

"Hi RIC. Nice to see you." Andrea said, petting him.

"RIC. That's his name?" Katie asked.

"Short for Robotic Interactive Canine." Sky answered.

"He seems friendly and likes you a lot." Trip said.

"Your friends are right. He does favorite you." Andrea said.

"I know, he followed me here." Sky said when Taylor arrived with Tyler and Megan.

"I see we got company here while we were gone." Taylor said.

"Taylor. It's so nice to see you again after so long." Katie said.

"You and Eric are still together and married." Trip said.

"Your kids have grown up as well." Lucas said.

"The years go by fast, I'm glad to see you all again." Taylor said.

"What an unexpected surprise to see your parents' friends here." Megan said.

"Yeah. Though isn't someone else missing?" Tyler said.

"You're right, I almost forgot about uncle Michael." Sky said. "Why didn't he come along with you guys?" They all suddenly got quiet.

"Everything okay? Is there a reason why he's not here?" Andrea asked.

"Sky. We haven't heard from him in the past few years he distanced from us." Katie explained.

"We lost contact with him after we heard about your mom had passed away." Trip said.

"We went to go find him at his apartment it was ransacked and...we think something might have happened to him." Lucas said.

"You mean that..." Sky paused for a minute, not knowing what to say.

"Michael might be missing or kidnapped." Alex said, shocking everyone.
