At the clock tower, the SPD rangers were sitting on the couch watching TV, though Bridge wasn't paying much attention on what they were watching.

"Hey Bridge! Can you pass the popcorn." Z said, but he didn't respond to her.

"Bridge! Earth to Bridge!" Syd yelled, throwing a pillow at him.

"Hey! What you do that for?" Bridge responded.

"I was telling you to pass the popcorn." Z said.

"Oh. Sorry. Here." Bridge said, giving them the bowl of popcorn.

"Something on your mind, Bridge?" Jack asked.

"Yeah. It just doesn't make sense." Bridge answered.

"What do you mean?" Syd asked.

"Why would Sky's step-dad be seeing someone who he doesn't know?" Bridge thought.

"Like I said before, he probably just met this lady and is trying to date." Jack answered.

"Okay, but they both didn't seem like they were smiling or laughing and having a good time, it looked like they were serious about something." Bridge explained.

"Serious about what?" Z asked.

"I read his aura and I sense something on him, like he is hiding some secret from not only Sky, but from everyone." Bridge said.

"What could Sky's step-dad be hiding from him?" Syd asked.

"Don't know, but I have a feeling it could change everyone's life." Bridge answered, when they all saw Sky coming in and kept on walking not saying anything to anyone.

"Hey Sky. Everything alright?" Jack asked, though Sky didn't respond and went to his bed then laid down covering himself with a blanket.

"I don't think he is, Jack." Z said.

"Maybe we shouldn't mention what we saw earlier." Bridge said.

"Obviously not, Bridge." Syd said.

"I'll go and talk to him and no eavesdropping. I mean it." Jack said, walking his way and went up to Sky's bed.

"Sky. Hey. You okay?" Jack asked, but Sky didn't respond. "Sky. You can tell me, don't try to avoid this time." Sky still didn't answer Jack. "Okay. I'll let you off for now, hopefully tomorrow you'll be alright to talk about it." Jack walked down and went by the rest.

"Didn't get a word out of him, did you?" Syd said.

"Not even. I don't know what's up with him this time." Jack said.

"Well, whatever it was he went to go talk with his parents friends, must have upset him." Bridge said.

"Your telling us." Z said.

"Come on, guys. We should rest up for another day." Jack said, as they all went to their beds, and RIC went to go by Sky. "RIC. Hey. Just leave him, he doesn't want to be bothered." RIC laid beside Sky though he didn't seem to mind him there.

"Well, at least he's okay with RIC by him." Bridge said.

"Tell me something I don't know." Jack said, and they all were sound asleep.

Meanwhile

Eric had arrived at his house, seeing Taylor in the living room, reading a book.

"Hey." Eric said, Taylor turned around hearing him.

"Hey." Taylor responded. "How was your day?"

"Let's just say not good." Eric responded.

"Why? What happened?" Taylor asked.

"I told Sky about...you know." Eric anwered.

"How did he take it?" Taylor asked.

"I don't think he took it well, he didn't say a word while I was telling him and then after I was done he left out of my office, I just hope he can forgive me." Eric explained.

"Well, he did have to know and I don't think he'll hate you for not telling him." Taylor said.

"If you say so, hopefully he'll be alright tomorrow." Eric said.

"Don't feel bad Eric, you did what was right to no longer keep secrets anymore." Taylor said, when they both heard the door open seeing it was Tyler, Megan, and Andrea walking in.

"Hi mom. Hi dad. We're here." Megan said.

"We even bought pizza." Tyler said.

"I'll go set up the table." Taylor said.

"Have you seen my dad lately?" Andrea asked Eric.

"Yeah. He's doing okay settling alright, even the rest of your moms friends." Eric answered.

"I really do hope he stays and catch up on what he has missed out with me and Sky." Andrea said.

"I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to catch up." Eric said.

"Hey dad, mind if I talk to you for a minute?" Tyler asked.

"Why don't you eat first, I'm going upstairs to rest." Eric answered.

"Your not going to join us?" Megan asked.

"I'm not that hungry. Good night." Eric answered, and went upstairs.

"Everything okay with dad?" Megan asked.

"Yeah. It's just been a rough day for him." Taylor answered.

"Isn't it always like that with him." Tyler said.

"Well, hopefully by tomorrow he'll be okay, then you'll have time to talk to him." Taylor said.

"I hope so." Tyler said.

Eric went to the bedroom and closed the door then sat on his bed, he opened his nightstand drawer then grabbed one of his kids drawings that he kept there, he looked at one that Tyler drew of him as a Silver Guardian and started to remember something.

Flashback

Both Eric and Taylor were setting up the table.

"Eric. Go tell the kids dinner is ready." Taylor said, as Eric went upstairs to get his kids down, as he was about to walk straight to their rooms when he saw them in his and Taylor's room playing then went inside.

"What are you two doing here?" Eric asked his kids.

"We were playing and Tyler wanted to borrow your red hat you wear to work." Megan answered.

"Mind if I ask why your wearing my hat?" Eric asked.

"Beause I'm a Silver Guardian. Like you." Tyler answered.

"Really. You want to be one?" Eric asked.

"When I grow up, yes. I want to be just like you." Tyler answered and Eric was surprised on his answer.

"Eric! What's taking you so long with the kids?" Taylor shouted.

"Come on you two, time for dinner." Eric said and they all went out of the room then headed downstairs to the kitchen.

"Finally. Why did you take so long with the kids?" Taylor asked.

"Found them playing in our room." Eric answered.

"That would explain why Tyler is wearing your hat." Taylor said.

"Because he's a Silver Guardian, like daddy." Megan said.

"Well, you do look like one and who knows, maybe you will be one when you get older. Right Eric?" Taylor said.

"Yeah. When your older, but in the mean time, no hats at the dinner table." Eric said, and they all laughed.

"Okay. Both of you go wash your hands, both your dinners are served." Tayor said, as the kids went by the sink then Eric went by the fridge and saw Tyler's drawing of himself of what he wants to be when he grows up, he looked at it for a minute when Taylor called him.

"Eric! Come sit and eat." Taylor said, and Eric went to go sit.

End of Flashback

Eric still looked at the drawing and wondered in his mind.

"There's a reason why I can't let you join. I hope you understand when I tell you." Eric thought to himself and put the drawing away in his drawer.

The Next Morning

At the clock tower, the SPD rangers started getting up from their beds, then went to prepare their breakfast.

"What a good sleep." Bridge said.

"Another day of being here." Syd said.

"And still no sign of that criminal." Z said.

"Weird, how he hasn't striked or nothing in stealing any machine stuff." Jack said.

"You know what's weird, RIC didn't even wake us like he usually does." Syd said.

"Yeah. He should be toasting the bread so I can start buttering it." Bridge said.

"You and your buttered toast, Bridge." Z said.

"Looks like Sky isn't up, might as well see if he's in the mood of talking." Jack said, as he went by his bed, but Sky wasn't there.

"It's no wonder RIC isn't here Sky isn't either." Jack said.

"Again. Why does he do this?" Syd said.

"You know RIC has always favored him." Bridge said.

"How is it that he sneaks off without us hearing him?" Z said.

"Well, we know for sure where he goes anyway." Jack said.
