Hi there everyone, so I see that a lot of you loved the last chapter so here we are with a new one. We will be going on new chapter in here, the last one on planet Granbell. After this we will be getting Zoro into this group, here I hope you all understood. Now lets go.
At the quicksand trap
Luffy was sinking faster and faster. He was never a good swimmer so he didn't know what he should do to get out of that situation.
"I gotta get out of here!'' Thought Luffy.
The Straw Hat adventure just kept moving back and forth, trying his best to get a single space to get free, but nothing was happening.
"Urgh!'' Scream him annoyed.
The situation was getting worse as Luffy was now down to his neck. If he didn't worked out he would be sunked and nothing could ave him.
"How would Shanks get out of here?'' Thoguth Luffy.
He thought of ideas, mostly it was just Punching but he was not getting any solutions to his problem.
"Man, I guess I am going to die. Bummer.'' Said Luffy.
Then he got an idea, a crazy/stupid idea but it was still an idea.
"Hey, what if I use my Ether Gear? Maybe it can toss me out of here.'' Said him out loud.
He was able to access his power, but it wasn't working at the level that he wanted. He was still stuck at the sand.
"I need more boost!'' Thought Luffy as he tried to make a even more powerful boost of power from his arm.
BAM
"Urgh!'' Scream Luffy in intense pain but he was still stuck.
If the first time didn't work then might tried again, but with more pressure.
"Urgh!'' Scream Luffy in more intense pain.
BAM
The second time was making a little more space appeared from the trap, Luffy felt his freedom near but he was in intense pain. No matter what he would tried a third time.
"Urgh!'' Scream Luffy as he used his Ether Gear with the max amount of strength he had left and this time it work completely because Luffy manage to explode the quick sand trap.
BOM
Using the momento Luffy stretched his arm and grab a tree branch to be in far distance from the sand.
"Wow I cant believe this worked. Who said acting stupid won't get you places?'' Asked Luffy with a smirk as he feels an intense pain all over his arm.
As he looked to see where he was he heard a girl screaming and he recognized that scream.
"AAAAAAAH!''
"Rebecca!'' Scream Luffy.
The Straw Hat soon started to run as fast as he could, he then noticed the robots were going to the center of the kingdom. Confused Luffy of course wonder.
"What is going on here?'' Asked him.
At the center of the Kingdom
Rebecca was tiled to a pole and looked like she was about to burned alive like a witch. She didn't know what was happening or where Luffy was. The main robot in the crowd was the so called King who didn't look friendly in the least.
"I didn't do anything wrong!'' Said her in tears.
"What is going on here?'' Asked Shiki coming over confused.
"Shiki! Help me!'' Said Rebecca in desperation.
"King! This girl over there is my friend. The boy who was with her is also my friend. They didn't come here with bad intentions.'' Said Shiki talking to the King of the Robots.
"I know. For a hundred Years, we have waited for someone to come here with a sail worthy ship.'' Said the king all cold.
"I don't really get it but until her already! And where is Luffy?!'' Asked Shiki.
"I will not and the boy fate was already decided.'' Said the king much to the two shock.
Shiki was already pissed at that but once he heard Luffy could've possibly dead he was beyond furious. The boy asked his robots friends for help but none of them cooperated, all of them wanted the girl and the boy gone. Shiki was beyond in disbelief, these robots were his friends, his main source of interaction all of his life this was all he had. Even Shiki best friend Michael was acting like that, so he came to one conclusion.
"Could it be that they all got infected with a virus?' 'Asked Shiki in wonder.
"Indeed, through a virus we have developed self awareness. The self awareness that we are not mere tools solely for humans to use.'' Said the king all cold.
"Snap out of it Michael!'' Scream Shiki to his friends magician.
"There is no need to fix us.'' Said the king as the robots started to become more hostile.
"I've fixed you guys countless times!'' Scream Shiki.
"We were playing out of our roles. All this time but a play, a stage performance. Everyone in this town was programmed with a certain role and we all played until we got the blessing of a self awareness. You were merely playing the role of a repair man, but yo are not a real repair man. In reality, the granbell castle has been using its auto repair system to fix us. We never need you from day one.'' Said the King making Shiki have pretty much a disbelief look.
"No! I can fix you! I can fix everyone! I will bring you all back on how you all were from the start! We're friends aren't we!?'' Asked Shiki.
"You are human. We are machines. We can never be friends.'' Said the king tossing his cape showing off his battle body.
The declaration left Shiki shaking to his core, Rebecca just saw that with nothing but sadness for the lonely boy of this planet. Imagine be surrounded by robots who you considered your family and friends only for them to say you are nothing to them. Before anything else bad could happen they heard someone screaming.
"Hey!'' Scream Luffy who jumped towards the middle of the city, for all the robots to see.
BAM
"What is happening here?'' Asked Luffy pissed.
"Luffy!'' Scream Rebecca and Shiki relieved.
"How did you escaped the quick sand?'' Asked the King.
"I used my gear to get out of there!'' Scream Luffy.
"We calculated that you would be in a impossible position to form any sort of escape. You had to pretty much destroyed all of your muscles to create this sort of miracle.'' Said the king.
"I did that anyway!'' Scream Luffy.
"Are you insane?'' Asked the king in disbelief.
"I am but I am not letting some stupid sand get in the way of my dreams! Now what is going on?'' Asked Luffy pissed as he saw Rebecca and happy tiled to the pole and ready to get burned.
The Straw Hat adventure looked around and saw what these robots were doing and needless to say he wasn't happy either.
"Stop with this right now!'' Scream Luffy.
"You have place to talk Straw Hat human. You and this female are nothing but plagues that infested our previous planet, once we steal her ship we will embark in a robot expedition, making way for the future of all the universe.'' Said the king all serious shocking both Shiki and Rebecca.
Luffy was already grinding his teeth and shouting at the top of his longues.
"YOU GUYS ARE ALL BASTARDS! SHIKI WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU ALL AND THIS HOW YOU ALL REPAY HIM! WHAT KIND OF FRIENDS ALL YOU ARE!'' Scream Luffy pissed.
"Finish them off, I don't want to repeat that speech again.'' Said the king.
The robots came towards the two and Luffy at first was the only one who was fighting back, Shiki was still frozen in place. However, after some screams of encouragement from both Luffy and Rebecca the black haired boy soon let it go of his fear and started to fight back. Soon robots started to fly all over the place, while Luffy was hitting them with maximum strength Shiki was still holding back and make them float or toss them from side to side. Rebecca saw that in amazement as she saw the strength display of the two.
"Shiki…Luffy.'' Said her in shock.
The robots kept coming and coming but with those two powerhouses they weren't going to let nobody get the best of them.
BAM
Both boys were no stop, Luffy stretching to ridiculous amount to hit enemy from miles of distance and Shiki using his gravity to mess with everything around.
"You guys aren't alright, it pains me to hit you all but you made my new friend cry. I will not let that pass.'' Said Shiki.
"I agree, I am going to beat you all until there's nothing but scrap.'' Said Luffy all cold.
"You two humans are indeed pathetic.''
"My name is Shiki! Shiki Granbell!
"And my name is Monkey D. Luffy and I will become King of the Universe! Just like Gold Roger!''
The two kept attacking but this time they were putting way more strength into their punches; robots were flying out as if they were literal paper as Rebecca saw all that in shock.
"Wow! They are ridiculously overpower.'' Thought her.
"You need a little help?'' Asked a sweet voice from behind, which turned out to be happy who escaped and saved Rebecca.
"Happy!'' Said her.
The two then saw Luffy and Shiki continue fighting, the black-haired boy was pretty much flying and attacking from a distance while Luffy was going all out punching everything in his sight.
"Wow!'' Said Rebecca and Happy amazed at that.
"Destroy them all! Leave no human alive!'' Scream the king.
Then Shiki used a ultimate move, he flied way high towards the sky and soon released a powerful attack on the king. It made him go a bit short circuit but it caused a lot of damage towards the floor.
"AAAAH! We are going to fall!'' Scream Rebecca in horror as she clutches Happy.
"Not with me here!'' Scream Shiki flying.
The two were saved by Shiki grabbing Rebecca arm while Luffy was on his back as if he was a surfboard.
"Shiki! How are you doing this?'' Asked Rebecca.
"This is a Ether Grear of Gravity.'' Scream Happy
"I got this power from my grandpa.'' Said Shiki.
"Well let's put them somewhere safe so we can continue fighting.'' Said Luffy.
"No.'' Said Shiki all simple.
"Uh?'' Asked Rebecca and Happy confused.
"What! Shiki! What are you thinking they need to pay.'' Said Luffy.
"I cant keep fighting them. Its just so much.'' Said Shiki.
"What! After what they just did?! Rebecca would be barbecued if we didn't stop them.'' Said Luffy.
"I know but…I know deep down they are there and it already hurt a lot having to destroy them! They were my only friends and family I got after grandpa left, I can't continue with this.'' Said Shiki now in tears.
Rebecca saw that and felt that leaving would be the better option, she could tell Shiki wasn't going to keep this style of fighting against those he called friends before.
"Lets go to my ship! We can leave in a few seconds.'' Said Rebecca.
"Are we just going to leave?'' Asked Luffy pissed.
"Yes, we are doing it for our new friend that really needs to leave this place. Let it go Luffy!'' Said Rebecca all serious.
The Straw Hat teen hated running away but he felt it was an option; he wanted to continue to fight but this wasn't going to keep going for much longer.
"Fine.'' Said Luffy annoyed.
"Alright! Lets go to the main lake!'' Said Rebecca.
Shiki heard that and they went there, soon Rebecca activated her ship who emerged from the deep.
"Aqua wing! Take off!'' Scream Rebecca.
"Ok, the control must be ready. We can leave now.'' Said Happy as he and Rebecca got in the ship really fast.
Shiki however was still on front as if he was protecting the ship.
"Shiki aren't you getting in?'' Asked Rebecca.
"No, I will stay here.'' Said him.
"I'll stay with you two.'' Said Luffy.
"Oh hell no, you two are not going to give such a headache.' Said Rebecca dragging the two inside the ship.
Soon Rebecca closed the doors and started to program the ship to fly off.
"Lets go!'' Scream her flying away.
The ship soon took off as Shiki saw the ground disappear, they got near the sky.
"Wow! This is impressive.' Said Shiki.
"Yes even thought Rebecca ship is not that cool.'' Said Luffy.
"Shut up! It's a good model!'' Said her.
"So we are getting off the planet?'' Asked Shiki.
"Yes, we must be out of the atmosphere now.'' Said Rebcca.
"Why would people leave their planets?'' Asked Shiki confused.
"Because the universe has a infinite amount of possibilities to explore.'' Said Luffy all simple.
"And we are at the Sakura Cosmo, take a look.'' Said Rebecca.
Shiki went to a window to look after what it looked like outside of a spaceship and needless to say he was amazed at that. It was beyond anything he could imagine.
"It's amazing!'' Said Shiki.
"Yes, and this is just one cosmos.'' Sadi Luffy.
Shiki kept looking outside. Seeing the stars, planets, comets and even Dragons was beyond anything he could imagine. Despite all that he kept seeing Planet Granbell as he started to cry a lot.
"THANK YOU, GUYS! I WILL NEVER FORGET ALL OF YOU!'' Scream Shiki towards the planet.
"What! But they still try to kill you.'' Said Luffy.
"I know but I know deep down my friends were there and I will miss them. Wait a minute, this glass makes hard for them to hear me, can I break it?'' Asked Shiki.
"NO!'' Scream Rebecca.
The lonely boy soon lay down on the floor of the ship just wondering what he will do next, then he got an idea.
"Well, I decided it, I will make 100 friends thought the universe!'' Scream Shiki.
"Really! That's sounds like an awesome dream!'' Said Luffy.
"Yes, I bet grandpa would love that.'' Said Shiki.
Rebecca just saw Shiki smiling and bonding with Luffy as she felt that her life would be a little more chaotic from here on now.
"We better go back to the guild. Maybe they will know what should be our next stop.'' Said Rebecca.
"Where are we going?'' Asked Shiki.
"To anywhere we want.;'' Said Luffy.
The group soon fly away from the planet, starting out Shiki new life with Luffy and Rebecca.
Back at Granbell Planet
The robots were sensing that the spaceship was out of orbit from their planet, which meant their mission success. Their goal was to make Shiki get off the island as it was the request of their creator, one of the last thing he demanded it before he disappeared. Despite a hard time Shiki went off and they were successful on their mission.
"You are now free Shiki.'' Said the King of the robots.
Then all the machines from Granbeell shut down, from the citizens to the animals. Something mysterious was happening and it involved Shiki.
Now that Shiki wasn't around the robots had no other function or who to talk to but despite being machine they all felt something similar to fear and sadness as Shiki left their planet.
So yes, it was the end of the first chapter, and I didn't had to copy everything from there. I had a good time writing Luffy and Shiki moments, I think they would be really good friends with the good circumstance of everything.
I had a nice time and I hope we all had fun in here.
Next we will set up Zoro.
