Hey everyone, back to a One Piece x Ben 10 fic and this time we will have the crew on the start of the second episode. Also, lets get some fun on the road or at sea.
At the Thousand Sunny
The crew was still not sure on what to think of Luffy new weird watch. For all purpose most of the Straw Hats wanted that thing away from them as far away as possible, but while it was stuck at Luffy they might as well know how to use well.
"Ok, now that we are with no forest to burn or enemies nearby we can finally discuss this thing. So when do you think should Luffy use this watch? I say never again unless is for the Diamond guy.'' Said Nami.
"We should only use when we are in a bad situation. I mean the Navy wont be able to tell that this creauture is our captain so we will have an advantage.'' Said Robin.
"Yeah, plus I want to see what other cools monsters can Luffy transform. We already seen 3 I want to see the other 7.'' Said Chopper.
Usopp was making some notes about each monster that Luffy became. The fire guy, the beast and the diamond man, making ideas on how to create weapons to fight against enemies, but he wanted to make sure that Luffy knew what he was doing.
"Luffy, do you feel anything once you transform back?'' Asked Usopp to Luffy who was just poking his nose without a care.
"What?'' Asked Luffy.
"You aren't even listening! You have something that I don't know if it is from this world and you are not concerned about it?'' Asked Usopp pissed.
"Relax Usopp, I am fine when I become those guys. I am not sure how it happens. I just press the watch when its green and that's when I become them.'' Said Luffy.
"I bet there is a more complex response to that.'' Said Franky.
"If there is I don't wanna know.'' Said Nami.
"Oooh! Luffy you should transform now! The watch is green again.'' Said Chopper.
"Better not, if the fire guy comes up again then the Sunny might as well become the literal sun. We need to know what kind of things are coming ouf out of this watch and see how are we going to use it in combat.'' Said Sanji.
"Whoever created this watch knows something about genetics or exploration. I feel that these creatures are from different types of groups.' Said Robin.
"I don't know Robin if I saw a group of those orange beasts, I would have scream so loud that my hometown could have heard.'' Said Usopp.
"Well at least they will know you are alive.'' Said Robin with a joke much to Usopp dislike.
"Plus, the other 7 are still a mystery to us and I don't think it will be wise for Luffy-dono to transform into all so we can see it. What if one of them cant survive on land?'' Asked Brook with a good argument.
"I just hope one that none of them are super scary.'' Said Nami.
"So Luffy are you going to transform or what?'' Asked Zoro.
Luffy kept looking at his watch and he was a bit indecorous, he would like to transform for sure but he felt it would be a waste know.
"I don't know, I feel it would be like I'm using Gear 2 just to do some chores. I mean I could use it but it would be a waste of my power, I guess its better for me to use this thing when its more important.'' Said Luffy.
"Sure thing captain.'' Said Zoro.
As the straw Hats wonder what should be their next move now they have this weird watch on their possession they felt a weird smell in the air.
"Uh? What is that?'' Asked Chopper.
The crew went to the other side of the ship as Usopp took a binocular to look around and saw a ship in flame.
"Hey that's a cruise ship! There are families there!'' Scream Usopp seeing a regular passenger ship filled with tourist now covered with fire.
"We need to save them!'' Said Luffy.
"Hold on do you think they would like help from the crew that just escape Ennis Lobbis?'' Askeed Nami.
"Why didn't we think of that? What we should do now?'' Asked Franky.
Chopper then got an idea on his head.
"I got it! Luffy transforms into a hero and save those people this way nobody will know its you.'' Said Chopper.
"Yeah, nobody will realize he is Straw Hat Luffy and when they see our ship we will be at a safe distance. Good idea Chopper.'' Said Usopp.
"Stop you idiot!'' Said Chopper doing his awkward dance.
"Ok Luffy, transform.'' Said Nami.
"Sure thing!'' Said Luffy activating the watch and putting the first guy he saw.
Boom
There was a bright light once Luffy transformed and they soon who he had become, the fire guy who almost destroyed an entire forest.
"You picked the fire guy to stop burning ship!'' Scream Nami pissed.
"Now this is something I would expect Luffy to do.'' Said Sanji not surprised.
"I just put the first guy that was showing.'' Said Luffy while at this form.
"Well, those people are going to die.'' Said Zoro all simple.
"We can't let them die! We are pirates but we are good ones!'' Said Chopper.
"Go help them Luffy, if possible grab anything that is valuable. We are not doing this for free.'' Said Nami.
"Uh…how I will get there? Is not that close that I can stretch.'' Said Luffy.
"Let me give you a help captain.'' Said Sanji who gave a huge kick
KICK
"AAAARGH!'' Scream Luffy going towards the burning ship.
The crew saw that scene in disbelief, I bet not even Luffy would expect that to happen to him.
"Do any of you monster know to use your brain properly?'' Asked Usopp.
"He doesn't have a brain Usopp, it's all empety in there.'' Said Zoro.
"Shut up mosshead.'' Said Sanji.
"franky sail near the ship this way Luffy can jump here with no problem.'' Said Nami.
"On it!'' Said Franky.
At the burning ship
Luffy was now inside of the burning ship as he looked around he saw flaming wood falling towards him.
"Oh no I am going to get burned…wait I am fire now. Man this is so funny, shishishi.'' Laughed him outloud.
The pirated looked around for the people and soon found a closed door that he knocked down with a fire punch.
BAM
Soon a bunch of regular civilians saw that flaming monster walking towards them and of course they were in petrified with fear.
"AAAAAH!'' Scream them.
"What?!'' Asked Luffy confused.
"Monster! It's the monster that started the fire!'' Scream an overweight woman.
"Where?'' Asked Luffy confused.
"What are you doing here?'' Asked a little kid.
"Because I came here to save you all.'' Said Luffy trying to act cool.
"Are you from the marines?'' Asked a random man.
"No, I am a pirate.'' Said Luffy all simple as always.
The people just looked at that in total confusion. They didn't know if they should act hostile or feared because while he said he was a pirate he was a man of pure fire, how do you stop someone like him?
Luffy just tried to make sure the flames didn't grow anymore, while trying to do that he noticed something.
"Huh?'' Asked Luffy confused looking at a kid holding a briefcase with a weird symbol.
"Uh?'' Asked the kid confused.
"Hey kid what are you holding? Is something cool?''' Asked Luffy.
"Oh it's just my Sumo Cards from the World Economic Cereal. I got the entire set and…'' Said the kid but he couldn't finish because Luffy got excited.
"Sumo cards! I've been trying to get them for a while but Nami doesn't let me collect them. It really sucks, even after all the coupons that I cut for her.'' Said Luffy all excited.
The entire group just looked at that scene in complete confusion. Why was that monster so happy to hear about some stupid trading card from a cereal box. What was even going on. Thanks to this distraction the fire on the boat just started to increase even more, not helping by the fire guy presence.
Before the ship could be in even worse condition a big wave hit off pretty much cleaning every trace of fire from all around.
SPLASH
The fire from the place was now all gone and even Luffy was being a little cool off.
"Hey!'' Said Luffy.
"What happened?'' Asked a passenger.
"Oh look a ship.'' Said another one.
The passenger all saw the ship nearby and it was the Thousand Sunny, look saw his crew with a look of annoyance and he figure out that they probably did something to make the wave and clear off all the fire that was around them,
"Is that the Straw Hats ship!?'' Asked a passenger.
"Boy our night is sure unluck.'' Said another one.
"Hey pal can you blast them off? I mean you are hero right?'' Asked another passenger.
"Uh…nope. Bye!'' Said Luffy jumping off the ship towards his own as the Thousand Sunny sailed away at maximum speed.
The entire passenger ship saw that in confusion so the fire guy was a member of the Straw Hat crew? This was something that they would tell the press once they got out of the water.
"What just happened?'' Asked a random passenger.
The ship just sailed safety to the nearest port where they would tell the press about the most wild night of their life's.
Back at the Sunny
The crew just looked at Luffy with are you for real looks, if it wasn't for them that ship was going to be already at the bottom of the ocean.
"Guys…did you see that?'' Asked Luffy.
"I used some wind to help direct some waves towards that ship. It was the least we could have done it.'' Said Nami.
"Man, I really suck at this.'' Said Luffy.
"Just a thought maybe we should use these powers to fight and not to save people.'' Said Zoro.
"Bro why the seriousness?'' Asked Franky.
"Because I am not sure if our captain could do this saving practice even if he was at his regular form.'' Said Zoro.
Then the weird symbol started to blink the red light which meant that Luffy was about to go back to normal.
Beep beep
Now back to his human form Luffy just looked a bit annoyed that he sucked in saving those people.
"You need practice with these powers. Didn't you train when you ate your devil fruit?'' Asked Usopp.
"Sure, but it took me years to get that good.'' Said Luffy.
"How are we going to train with things we are not sure are even things?' 'Asked Nami.
"We can go randomly train with him, nothing special.' Said Zoro.
Then Robin had a suggestion.
"How about we try with a new creature? We know how the fire guy symbol looks like and then we can see what the others can do. Just one for the day'' Said Robin.
"I guess that could be an idea. Let's wait until the watch reboot.'' Said Usopp as they all waited for the weird watch to go back to normal.
10 minutes later
Luffy never felt so bored in his life, he wanted to play as a cool monster again and then he heard the confirmation noise.
"It's green again!'' Scream Luffy.
"Cool, now transform!' Said Usopp
Luffy nodded as he looked at the watch making sure to not touch any repeated form, he soon found one with a weird shape head.
"This one looks awesome!' Said Luffy activating.
The green light soon started to emit as Luffy body started to become all grey and also deform his head. When the light was gone Luffy disappeared from the main part of the ship much to the crew shock.
"Luffy! Are you invisible?'' Asked Nami.
"Bastard!'' Scream Sanji.
"I don't know, can you guys see me?'' Asked a very squeaky voice.
The Straw Hats looked down to see a little gray man with a small scar and a tiny Straw Hat onto his back.
"Luffy!'' Scream most of the crew in shock.
"Huh?!'' Asked Luffy confused.
"You're so tiny.'' Said Chopper amazed by that.
"Woah, I guess because when the light appeared it blinded you all making everyone including myself that I have gone invisible, when in reality I just shrank to an almost insect like size.''' Said the now grey little man Luffy.
The crew was now confused with what that version of Luffy just said.
"What was that?'' Asked Zoro.
"Did he actually said something smart?'' Asked Usopp.
"I don't know this is beyond weird.'' Said Sanji.
"Hey Luffy are you still you?'' Asked Nami.
"Still me but I guess my intellect increased once I took this form. Like right now I am using words that I never imagined saying.'' Said grey Luffy.
Robin soon put Luffy in her hands making sure he was at eye visibility with the whole crew, now having a tiny captain was beyond anything that they were expecting.
"Maybe instead of a giant stomach this one has a giant brain.'' Said Zoro.
"Perhaps but it would be good to have a smart captain for once.'' Said Nami.
"I think I found my favorite.'' Said Robin with a smile.
"I can definitely eat all my meals as if they are giant size. So I like this guy too'' Said Luffy.
"Dammit Luffy! You are so small and you are thinking about food! Think of all the possibilities that you have!'' Thought Sanji out loud and angry.
"I don't even want to know what are you thinking about it.'' Said Usopp.
The crew decided to stop at a nearby island to make sure they have some new supplies, but also to hear what did people heard about the fire boat incident. Their new destination was Washt Island.
At a lab in Washt Island
The lab was once a run down pet shop and was now filled with a whole bunch of mechanical things and other gadgets. A bill collector soon arrived to get the rent of the place which was overdue.
"Hey there! I am looking for the owner! Where is he?'' Asked the bill collector.
"Oh hello there.'' Said the owner of the place, a sick looking man with green skin and long white hair.
"Uh?!'' Asked the bill collector in shokc.
"I am Dr Animo, a pleasure to meet you.'' Said Dr animo.
The bill collector soon brush off that greeting and went down to business.
"I am here to get my money. You owe us 9 months of rent and we have files that your store hasn't sale a single pet.'' Said the bill collector.
"Oh yes, the truth is I need the idea of a pet shop to gather animals for you see I am not a pet shop owner I am more of a scientist.'' Said the weird man.
"What?'' Asked the bill collector.
"you will be the first to see my new invention.'' Said the weird looking man.
Then the doctor pulled out what looked like a weird metallic helmet with big horns.
"What is that? An Elbaf hat?'' Asked the bill collector.
"This is my new invention it makes all animals obey to me but also create a new form that will annihilate everything that is in front of them.'' Said Dr animal.
"Uh what?'' Asked the bill collector.
"Behold!'' Said Dr Animo grabbing a parrot from his cage.
Then upon clicking some buttons some weird lasers started to come out of the helmet, much to bill collector shock.
"What is going on?'' asked him.
"Food is here.'' Said Dr Animo to the now monstrous parrot.
The creature had turned to the size of a small Elefant with sharp claws and an even scarier bick. Once he saw the bill collector it went to attack him as if it was a mouse.
"AAAAH!'' Scream the bill collector in pian.
"It works! Ha! After years it finally works!'' Scream Dr Animo excited.
"Tell this creature to let me go!'' Scream the bill collector in fear.
"Sorry, it's his feeding time. Thanks for providing the food.'' Said Dr Animo not carrying.
The mad genius saw the small city which has been his base for a while. He decided to use this place as his first target and then go after bigger places until he reaches his true destination.
"Watch and learn Vegapunk. Once my army is completed, I am marching towards Egghead and get what is truly mine! You might be a genius in many fields but no one is better at the animal kingdom as Dr Animo!'' Scream the mad scientist ready to attack.
So yes, we have our introduction of our mad scientist and also Grey Matter. I wanted Luffy to try to save people as HeatWave for him to see that doing this stuff is not his way, Luffy might not call himself a hero, but he does a bunch of heroic things all the time.
We will see how the Straw Hats deal with Dr Animo and….oh no what will be of Chopper if this crazy scientist is here and he wants to be the sole rule of the animal kingdom?
