Before you read this, you should know what my thoughts are on Octavia. I do like her as a character and she remains one of my favorite characters of Helluva Boss. I know she's going through a tough time and I can understand why she's mad at her dad, Stolas. However, that does not mean I completely agree with what she did on Sinsmas. I think her not holding her mother and her uncle is just naive if not a little selfish-annoying.

I do hope for the best for Octavia in season 3 but I believe she needs to grow up too. With that said, please refrain from any hateful comments on Octavia here. I've heard she's been getting a lot of hate and I won't accept any hateful comments about her here.

At the IMP office, inside of Blitz's office, he was playing around with stick figures of Moxxie, Millie, and Stolas. He was continuing his foursome fantasy that he was doing a couple of weeks ago before Stolas called him for bodyguard work at Loo Loo Land. Before he could continue with it, he got a buzz from his temp receptionist, Dennis; he would take Loona's place as the receptionist so that Loona could do more fieldwork, especially with the rampant assassination attempts on Stolas's life and IMPs rising business bringing in more clients. Blitz has been thinking about bringing in more help, more assassins, but he hasn't found anyone that stands out for his crew yet; Moxxie, Millie, and Loona are looking too but they would still need to be evaluated by Blitz first.

Dennis said "Boss, you have a visitor. She says her name is Octavia."

"Tell her to come in." Blitz said, before putting the stick figures said

"Yes, sir." Dennis said before buzzing Octavia in.

"Octavia,this is a surprise." Blitz said with a smile on his face. While he hasn't gotten very close to Octavia, he knows how much Stolas cares about her despite him being forced to marry Stella and have her in the first place.

"We need to talk." Octavia said in a serious tone.

Blitz asked "Ok. What do you want to talk about?"

Octavia asked "What happened at the Harvest Moon Festival?".

"Not much. Your dad announced the Pain Games and did the moon ritual. It was the same like every year, according to him. I competed in the games for a bit and tied against another competitor. Moxxie competed too but he didn't do so well; probably due to his baby hands holding him back and lack of upper body strength. Loona has a video of how he did ,if you want to see it."

Octavia asked "Was my mother trying to have my dad killed?".

"What makes you say that?" Blitz asked, surprised to hear her ask that.

Octavia explained "I overheard him arguing with my mom over the phone. He talked about how she sent an assassin to kill him and how you protected him from him."

"It was just another opportunistic assassin. But me and my team took care of it, no problem." Blitz said to her. Although, unlike most opportunistic assassins, Striker was a lot more deadlier than your average imp assassins; had he not been hired to kill Stolas, Blitz would have liked to offer him a job at IMP.

"This wasn't like Loo Loo Land where it was just a bunch of is going on? Is my mom trying to kill my dad?" Octavia said, demanding to know what's going on.

"The assassin who tried to kill your dad but he didn't say that your mom hired him. It easily could have been anyone that hired him to kill your dad. But we're looking into it and we're taking steps to prevent that." Blitz said, which was mostly true; while Striker did not admit it at the time, he could tell that he was hired by Stella, or another royal, because of the blessed weapons he had.

Octavia asked "But you suspect my mom, don't you?". Ever since Stolas suddenly kicked Stella out of the house after their Not Divorced Party, Octavia hears almost all the threatening calls that her father gets from her. It was almost like she wanted to kill him.

Blitz said "Yes, I do suspect your mom.". He didn't think lying to Octavia would work, so he answered honestly. Although, he hoped that his tone of voice would lead her to believe that he simply suspected her among other royal suspects that might want Stolas dead, or just anyone in general.

Octavia asked "Are you going to kill her in retaliation?".

"What, anything, we don't have too since the assassin was paid so much money up front that I'm sure that your mom doesn't have enough to repay him or anyone else at the moment. And since we're so good at our jobs that she'll be wasting all her money on something that won't work since all other assassin's will be too afraid of us to do anything about it since your dad is hiring us." Blitz said, hoping that this would make her feel better.

Octavia shouted "That doesn't make me feel better."

Blitz said "Sorry that it isn't.". He wasn't mad at her for shouting at him like that since she can understand why she would be feeling this way.

Octavia changed the subject and asked "Dad said that you two are friends; that I can trust you were such good friends, why did you lose touch?".

Blitz said "Because our friendship was secret, we couldn't really keep in touch like we wanted to. And some stuff happened in my life afterwards that prevented me from seeing him.". While Stolas knew about the circus fire from Blitz and some of the stuff he did afterwards, he decided not to tell Octavia about it

Octavia said "Yet you somehow managed to convince him to kick my mom out of the house and divorce each other, causing this whole assassination problem to start in the first place. Why would a close friend tell someone that they haven't seen in a long time to divorce their wife?"

Blitz said "Your dad should be the one to tell you this, and I'm sure that he will, but I'll tell you this much. Your mom doesn't like your dad. I don't think she did for a long time. And while I'm sure he did everything he could to make their relationship work but it clearly wasn't working anymore. He knew it, she knew it and we decided to give her a nice push to end it before it got to the point that she would be unhappy."

Octavia looked away for a bit and asked "Are you going to convince him to abandon me?

Blitz said "No. I would never do something like that."

Octaiva said "How can I be sure of that? I don't know you anymore than you know me."

Blitz said "Because you're his daughter and he loves you more than life itself, more than he could care about some long lost friend like me. You know, when we first started talking again he couldn't stop talking about you.".

Octavia said "He did?"

Blitz said "Yes. One of the things we talked about the most was you. I also talked about Loona too but you get the idea. I'm not saying you have to like me, Octavia. I know I'm the reason your mom wants your dad dead. But you should know that I care about him. And I would never let anything bad happen to him. But also known that he loves you more than anything and he would never leave you behind."

Octavia asked "Do you love my dad?".

Blitz said "I care about him. But your dad deserves someone who can make him happy. Romantically, I mean. All I'm doing is helping him out with that.". He didn't want to say that he did love Stolas, not just because of his own problems and self hatred about love, but that it would only make it harder on Octavia in another way.

Octavia didn't know what else to say and decided to leave without saying a word. While she could tell that Blitz was being sincere-honest with her, she couldn't really accept everything as fact but it was enough for now. She still didn't understand how an imp like him could convince her dad to kick out her mom but she intends to find out from her dad.

Once she left, Blitz would start to have some remorse for how Octavia was feeling right now. He wished that he could just tell her about how Stolas and Stella were arranged to be married for the expressed purpose of having her assassinated after precautionary heir for whatever fucked up reason. But he wanted to leave it to Stolas, so he could tell her when the time was right. All he could do is be there for her when asked and keep her safe as well.

(A couple of months later)

Blitz would be pointing his pistol at Stella, who is holding an angelic blade, while protecting Octavia from her.

For extra context about this au, since Blitz and Stolas were friends a lot longer in this AU, they didn't initiate an "official affair"; instead, Blitz convinced Stolas to kick Stella out of the house almost immediately after the Not Divorced Party, except it was in a more humiliating way that was almost the equivalent of Stolas sleeping with Blitz after that party in the original timeline. This was meant to replace the affair but at the same time it was another way to kick the conflict that Octavia would have since I didn't want to get rid of it completely in this AU. Depending on how season 3 of Helluva Boss deals with Octavia's character, will somewhat influence what I might do with Octavia in this AU; however, if I can do it right, the next one that will directly involve her will likely be a combination of Queen Bee and Seeing Stars rolled into one.
