When everyone got to Trolberg, they headed for the headquarters of the Trolberg Safety Patrol.
They walked through the area to the main building, and Tina asked the receptionist, 'Could we see Emma please?' She and the Loud siblings then waited as the receptionist went to a back area...
Luna: You think this Emma gal will help us?
Tina: (gives a wink) Believe me, she will.
A moment later, the receptionist brought out 4 familiar people: the kids, Hilda, Frida, David, and the adult, David's Mom, who had on a Safety Patrol uniform. Tina lit up...
Tina: Emma! (holds her arms out)
David's Mom: Tina!
She bends down to give Tina a hug, and Tina hugged Emma back. The Louds are surprised to see what's happening...
Lincoln: Tina, David's Mom is Emma?
Tina: Yeah.
Luna: (to Emma) We've always called you 'David's Mom.'
Emma: (chuckles) Have you guys ever asked me for my name?
Luna and the other Loud siblings shook their heads.
Hilda: So, how are things in Royal Woods?
Lincoln: Pretty good.
Luan: But we're still trying to figure out what happened to the falcons.
Frida: (nods) Yeah, so are we.
Luna: We found one of the birds that was abandoned, and we took him to Dr. Zhau.
Hilda: Oh, thank goodness.
David: Good thing he's safe.
Lincoln: Emma, does a person named Alan Paschich live in Trolberg?
Emma: Is it important?
Lana: Yeah, he knows about the falcons in the tree. He works for animal protection in town.
Emma: Let me check.
Emma went to a nearby computer to look up information.
David: Mum is great at finding records here.
Soon, Emma had found something...
Emma: I found out where he is. He's renting a cabin that's just outside the woods. You might see him there.
Emma wrote down the description of what the cabin looked like on a piece of paper, and gave it to Tina.
Tina: Thanks, Emma.
Emma: You're welcome.
The Loud siblings thanked Emma as well, then everyone left the Safety Patrol office, and went to the outskirts of Trolberg, which was near the forest. They saw a small wooden fence...
Lana: That must be it.
The fence was near a group of pine trees, A gravel driveway cut through the trees, which led to a small brown cabin.
Lisa: I see the cabin.
When everyone walked through the gate, they saw Adam eating a sandwich. He jumped down off the porch and headed toward the team...
Alan: Hello again. What brings you guys way out here?
Lana told Adam about how they found one of the baby falcons in the woods, then Lola spoke...
Lola: Not only that, but someone had put a tag on his leg and clipped his wings!
Alan: (thoughtful) Really? It seems like a person did take that falcon.
Lucy: Why would someone clip his wings?
Alan: Well, the most likely reason was that someone was training him to do something.
Lola: Like what?
Alan: (shrugs) Could have been a lot of different things.
While Adam walked them back to Trolberg, they continued speaking...
Alan: Where is this falcon now?
Lana: We took him to an animal hospital in Royal Woods, where Dr. Zhau said she would take care of him.
Alan: (nodded) Thanks for letting me know. I'll be sure to contact Dr. Zhau.
Everyone said goodbye to Alan. then they all went into the forest, and when they saw Alan completely walk away, then they all transported back to Royal Woods. As the team walked through town to think about the situation, Lola says, 'I hope that guy catches whoever took these falcons. Cutting a bird's feathers off is just plain mean!'
Lana: (nods) Yeah, but at least it doesn't hurt. I think it's just like cutting your toenails.
Soon they walk past Eat Diner Coffee Shop, where they saw Siobhan Andrews sitting at a table by the window, reading and eating her lunch. When she had noticed Tina and the Loud siblings watching her, she stared at them back through the glass. Siobhan's face was blank, but her eyes made everyone run away. When they were away from the diner, a conversation happened...
Lola: She looks upset about something.
Lincoln: Maybe she just doesn't like anyone gawking at her while she eats.
Lana: Did anyone saw what she was reading?
Everyone thought about it, and after a bit, Tina said, 'I remember. It was a National Geographic magazine.'
Lana: Yes, and I saw the cover. It had birds on it.
Tina and the Loud siblings walked to Ketcham Park to have lunch.
