Reader20448: Yup, men were not built to handle women's ferocity during shopping, even if said man is a future cosmic entity. Hikari is indeed cooked and Izuku didn't have to lift a finger. XD
XLR8wuzhere: Haha.
AnimeFan13579: Garaki knows the existence of magic, living for such a long time underground, he's bound to discover its existence in some ways. AFO cannot access magic since his quirk isn't meant to handle magic, unlike OFA. Let's say if he managed to awakened, his body would implode due to all of the stockpiled quirk.
uchiha-rune: *Thumbs up*
stream187: *sweatdrop* Unless that author lives near Jakarta, Indonesia, then you don't have to worry about me. As for the list, it's already clued from the National-Rank Hunters along with Gang Orca and Mirio, while the rest will remain a mystery for now since I want it as a surprise.
Whitemare: No need to apologize, that was me being dramatic as I was still annoyed by how Disney massacred all childhood movies with soulless modern adaptations and Snow White being the current victim. For the second question, you got the answer in this chapter. Third, there's going to be at least one girl who's willing to do that to Izuku. The world isn't kind of quirkless, after all.
Demon Castle Tower
5th Floor
"….I swear, something is wrong with all of us," Eijirou says in a deadpan manner as he adjusts his current gear, a pair of shorts, gloves, and shoes with a tank top, each imbued with specific runes that let the wearer resists the heat from the hellfire.
"What do you mean?" Ochako asks, donning a crop top with shorts, boots, and fingerless gloves along with a hooded cloak imbued with similar runes.
"I mean, we got a chance to finally take a break, enjoying our life as a normal student, going out to have fun in the arcade or anything, but here we are, grinding in a demonic tower for 10,000 demonic souls because we're all bored," Eijirou exclaims as Izuku chuckles, donning a sleeveless hoodie with a pair of fingerless gauntlets, trousers, and combat boots, each having glowing runes imbued on them.
"Well, given we're all experiencing the thrill of fighting monster after monster for months, it made us a complete adrenaline junkie and we can't simply sit still while not doing any actions," Izuku says before adjusting his collar.
"…like I said, something is wrong with all of us," Eijirou grumbles as Izuku and Ochako chuckle.
"Anyways, Arise," Izuku commands before his shadow suddenly expands as the arc of lightning bursts from the ground and shadow figures start to emerge from the ground. The Trinity sweatdrops at how Izuku's magic gets more and more flashy over time.
"Greetings, my lord." Igris bows before the rest of the shadows join in, eliciting an exasperated groan from Izuku and chuckles from Ochako and Eijirou.
"All right, let's not waste any time. This time, we're grinding the shit out of the demon tower for tomorrow's raid in Mt. Oiwa. Right now, we're gonna help strengthen the shadow armies, especially Taiyo, Kuro, Levi, and Makoa, the newest addition to the army. I would love to bring Yoru, but-!" Izuku says before he is cut off by a portal made of black goo appears and Yoru hops out of it before licking his paws.
"Okay, never mind, Yoru's joining us for today." Yoru was startled before looking at Izuku with a questioning look, wondering what his new leader meant. He then looked around before letting out a shocked 'Meow!?' as he is unable to understand where is he and why is everything on fire.
"Easy there, Yoru. We're in a dungeon named the Demon Castle Tower." Taiyo explains to the little shadow cat but it only makes him even more frightened. "P-please calm down, Yoru. We're now a shadow, remember? Whatever things in the tower won't be a challenge for our leader!"
"I love your confidence in me, Taiyo, but please make sure you didn't put too much faith in me. I'm not a god and I am not unbeatable." Izuku says while ignoring the deadpan stare from Ochako and Eijirou.
"Your records say otherwise." Eijirou snarks.
"Not. Helping." Izuku hissed before looking at Yoru who was still frightened. "Look, I understand your fear, and you have every right to be. But, please understand, there will be days when you will be forced to fight, and I want you to learn how to properly defend yourself if that day ever comes so you can be safe. You don't have to fight a crazily powerful monster, and I didn't expect you to, I just want you to learn how to take care of yourself."
Yoru looks at his leader before reluctantly nods. When he and Taiyo let their soul make contact with Izuku's, they are provided with the information necessary known for every shadow and Igris helps to fill the rest as the senior for all shadows. He knows about the danger and he could've requested Izuku to release him from the shadow anytime, but he didn't because he wanted to return the favor to Izuku, even though he never admitted it out loud.
"Alright…" Izuku says before looking at his shadows. "Now, before we can start strengthening you up, I need the new shadows to showcase your current skills. Taiyo, you up first. Levi and Makoa had shown quite a lot, and I had a feeling those two could do more, but I had nothing on you besides your absurd strength, defense, regeneration, and speed for a kid."
"Sure, Mister!" Taiyo exclaims before the flame cloak turns into a pair of wings as he starts flying, surprising everyone. Then, he turns the flaming cloak and shapes it into multiple fire spears before sending them down like a falling meteor, creating large explosions and tremors. Then, the flames created from the impact start to mold into a large tornado before it explodes once more.
"… That's one hell of fire magic mastery for a shadow that was revived not long ago," Izuku blinks as Taiyo lands in front of Izuku with a bright smile. Every shadow in the vicinity turns away from it, screeching 'too bright' and 'it burns'. Izuku shook his head before petting Taiyo's head with a smile. "Good job. Is there anything else?"
"Um, not really. Other than cover me in fire, that's it." Taiyo says with a shrug. Izuku nods before looking at Yoru, who rolls his eyes before creating multiple glowing orbs made of blue ink and launching them to the ground in front, creating a glowing blue puddle. From said puddle, emerges multiple cat paws as it slams together before it turns back to a puddle of ink. Then, Yoru uses said puddle to turn it into a portal made of ink and uses some of the ink to attack some rubbles. Upon contact, the ink disappeared along with some of the rubbles it made contact with, surprising everyone.
"So, you have an ink that you can shape into anything, create a portal, and use it as a spatial attack where upon contact, it'll warp the space around the object it made contact with and disappear to heavens-know-where." Izuku muses as Yoru looks at Izuku dumbfoundedly before nodding. "Well, that's cool."
"….your shadows are broken as fuck…" Eijirou says as Ochako nods.
"This coming from you guys," Izuku deadpanned before looking at Makoa. "So, what about you, buddy?"
Makoa merely grins before the tattoo on his body glows as an orb of water appears on his palm, and then the orb freezes as Makoa launches the ice like a speeding bullet, destroying a boulder.
"Ice magic, it seems you take a page from the Lycanthropes." Makoa nods with a prideful grin on his face. Levi rolled his eyes before blasting steam from his mouth as it melted the rubbles upon contact. Then, Levi's eyes glow blue for a second and the vapor solidified into ice.
"…so, a much more advanced one." Izuku nods as Levi looks smug while Makoa looks downcasted. "Don't worry too much about it, Makoa. Levi's been a monster that exists older than you or even your ancestor, so his fast improvement and much better results are to be expected."
Makoa seems to cheer up from Izuku and hugs him, earning a chuckle from the boy. Then, Kuro decided to show his skill by using shadow feathers and controlling them as each feather generated a powerful wind, surprising everyone as they didn't expect the child to show such powers. Kuro follows up by using some feathers as high-speed bullets, some to create a small tornado, and some to create wind blades, and Kuro did all of it at the same time.
"….Great job," Izuku says as he rubs Kuro's head, causing the little tengu to chirp happily before giving a smug grin to the new shadows. Each of them is triggered by the brat, acting arrogant toward his seniors. Eijirou and Ochako sweatdrop at the scene, unsure how to react to the shadows turning everything into a competition.
"Oh, by the way, Ocha," Izuku turns towards his girlfriend. "That magic arrow you fired when you sparred with Kei, it's from Sagittarius, right?"
"Y-yeah, how did you know?" The moment she asks, a bright flash appears, and a tiny man with a horse body as its lower half appears floating next to Ochako.
"Hmm, the successor of the Shadow Monarch truly shows he's more than his strength. Greetings, boy." The man says as he bows. "The name's Chiron. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Chiron? Like the one from Greek Mythology? The Chiron who has trained Achilles, Hercules, and Jason?" Izuku asks as Chiron nods, pleased by the boy recognizing him.
"Indeed," Chiron smiles as Izuku rubs his chin.
"So, the constellation's name is more of a title. It does make sense since Sagittarius means archer, but it seems that some of you celestials adopt it as your new name after transcend." Izuku says as Chiron nods.
"Indeed, my magic allows Lady Ochako to use the power of the archer itself, she will manage to pinpoint the target she desires and use her mana to create a concentrated mana arrow that could pierce through any tough hides, either if its armor or magic," Chiron says before looking at Ochako. "Of course, I shall provide her with other training so she could be a greater hero."
"Well, I trust you to help her. If the myth is true, then you are by far the best teacher that could teach her." Izuku says as Chiron nods.
"Then, I shall not disappoint you, Shadow Monarch," Chiron says before sitting on Ochako's shoulder. Izuku merely nods as Chiron sounds like he refers to him by title out of respect instead of admiration like many of his shadows, alliance, or worse, his future cult members.
"…let's not think about the last one," Izuku sweatdrops before shaking his head. "Anyways, let's go to the 6th floor and go look for more demons, use the chance to get even stronger." Everyone nods as Izuku pulls out the item drop he got after clearing all the demons on the 5th floor, a ticket pass to access the next floor in the form of a paper written in a foreign language. The trio and the shadows walk towards the pillar of light that appears when Izuku gets the pass, all of them are determined to get even stronger.
Meanwhile
With Tokoyami
"Ugh!" Tokoyami was knocked back while Karasu used his body to cushion his partner. In front of him, Edgeshot can be seen training the boy while holding his katana.
"Again," Edgeshot says as Tokoyamu grunts before he summons a pair of daggers using the Moonshadow energy and charges in. Due to his lack of physical strength and experience in using the weapon, Edgeshot beat Tokoyami like an adult bullying a child.
"Charging in with zero experience or even the physical strength is nothing but a suicide mission." Edgeshot chastised Tokoyami. "You need to be more creative with your approach. Your reliance on Karasu to do your heavy lifting made you reckless, you are not him so don't be him."
"I…I understand," Tokoyami grunts before collapsing to the ground. After witnessing the fight between the Trinity and the Blade Guild, Tokoyami had grown more interested in magic and hoped that he could learn more to make up for his poor physical strength, even asking and begging Edgeshot to teach him. Edgeshot does agree, but he promises that he won't get easy on him and that he won't be the only student who will be learning under him.
"Easy….Tokoyami…" Lucinda, who was invited to the UEIS HQ along with Albus for a check-up at Lulu's request, comes forward and offers Tokoyami a bottle of water.
"Thank you…" Tokoyami mutters before drinking the water. Lucinda merely smiles and nods at the disciple of Shadow Monarch who has helped their tribes against the Ice Elves.
"Ah, Lucinda," Edgeshot calls. "How was your check-up with Lulu?"
"She….said I'm ok…" Lucinda says, still struggling with Japanese but has gotten far better than before. "She confirms….I'm healthy….and safe…."
"That's good," Edgeshot says with a nod while noticing Albus and Lunaria enter the training room. He's holding a large book as he takes notes while Lunaria talks to him. Albus had managed to meet the Nature Elf, a former resident of the Tree of Knowledge itself, and take the chance to learn more magic from her. He is very grateful towards the Shadow Monarch and wishes to assist him in future battles against Monarchs, but he knows that his current self isn't strong, so he takes the chance. Lunaria accepts Albus' requests to learn magic under her since not only does Albus have an aptitude for magic besides ice and barrier, but also his desire to repay the favor makes him worthy to be her student. Lunaria notes that the reason why Albus wasn't able to get past the second stage of magic is due to his lack of understanding of magic, which is impressive since his barrier magic is very complex for someone who was still stuck in the first stage.
"Interesting….so much magic from….other realms," Albus mutters while writing down everything Lunaria has mentioned. "Thank you….teacher…"
"No problem," Lunaria chuckles. "It's been a while since I taught theories to anyone, and besides my old students, you are a very smart student. It's impressive that you're able to self-taught magic from merely watching your father performing it and not having a full explanation on it."
"I-it wasn't that….impressive…." Albus says bashfully while rubbing the back of his head.
"Trust me, I don't compliment others if I don't mean it," Lunaria says in an earnest tone while smiling at the young pup. "You are already in a great start, and with the right guidance, you will be a great warlock."
"…I hope so…" Albus mutters while closing his book. "I…truly wants to repay….our Monarch…."
"You have nothing to worry about, you're doing great," Lunaria says while petting his head, making Albus smile before noticing that he and his teacher had entered the training room.
"O-oh, hello there…" Albus says nervously while waving his paw at Edgeshot and others. "I….take you all heard it…." He got nods from everyone, making Albus slightly embarrassed.
"Don't be embarrassed. I also want to repay the Shadow Monarch after he saved my life by getting stronger." Tokoyami says.
"So…do I…" Lucinda says before looking at Lunaria. "Miss…"
"Say no more," Lunaria says with a smile, able to sense Lucinda's determination and her earnest desire, being the master of magic for thousands of years.
"It's great to see you all were very excited to grow stronger." Edgeshot comments before looking at Albus. "So, kid, wanna join in with the sparring training? Learning magic has its merits, but so does physical training."
"I…suppose…" Albus mutters while nodding and places his book into his shadow, making everyone blink. "…ah, teacher and I….have been experiment with….Shadow Attribute Magic…."
"…well, let's see how good you are with it," Edgeshot says before holding his katana. Albus takes a deep breath before using his Shadow Attribute and ice magic to create a longsword. Lucinda was surprised at how Albus managed to improve in such a short amount of time. Her senses could see his ice was much sharper and more durable, his Shadow Attribute felt refined albeit a bit wild, and she also sensed he uses the Shadow Attribute to enhance his entire body, muscles, bones, and senses were all heightened.
'He can do all that in such a short amount of time?' Lucinda thought in shock as Edgeshot took a deep breath before sending multiple wind slashes towards Albus, who used Shadow Attribute to neutralize the element before charging in with another sword swing. Edgeshot dodged it by folding his body into a thin line and blitzing through the air.
Albus looked around as his eyes tried to track Edgeshot's movement. Edgeshot then stops before rushing towards Albus like a speeding bullet, but to his shock, Albus summons multiple ice shards in the air to halt Edgeshot's movement as the man crashes into one of the shards, knocking him back. Edgeshot regains his footing before turning his body back to normal, but suddenly, multiple runes appear around Edgeshot before it is engraved on Edgeshot's clothes. Edgeshot winces as he feels his body grow heavier, the gravity on his body somehow increases, and his clothes feel like it's weights for a professional athlete.
"Edgeshot is immobilized!?" Tokoyami exclaims in shock.
"What…happened?" Lucinda asks in surprise.
"Albus uses Ice Magic's ability to slow down enemies' movement, along with runes for lowering enemies' agility, increases enemies' weight and their armor's weight, in that shards. Not to mention, all were enhanced by the Shadow Attribute, which is quite a deadly combination against any enemies that rely on agility and speed." Lunaria says with a proud smile. She remembers how Albus chooses to learn this due to his experiences with Ice Elves who are notorious for their agility and speed, and the boy hasn't tried it on anyone except understanding the theory.
"Okay…I underestimated you," Edgeshot says with a slight grin before suddenly, he summons the wind around his body and some of the runes in his body disappear. He grunts before standing up.
"I…never seen a wind….magic used in such ways…" Albus mutters in surprise as Edgeshot manages to get rid of the gravity and the weight-up runes on his body with nothing but wind.
"Ah, sorry, kid. But, wind isn't my magic attribute." Edgeshot says before he performs a hand-seal, and suddenly, multiple clones of himself appear, surprising the kids. "My magic is simply turning myself into the ninja from the myth."
"….ah, so….my runes consider….like a poison….and since ninja….knows how to use it….for their assassination….they must've the antidotes…." Albus mutters. "One of…your skill….uses mana….and covert it into…antidote…?"
"….huh, you're as smart as Midoriya," Edgeshot says as he blinks before taking a stance. Then, he and his clones charge in while Albus' eyes glow and more ice shards appear around him.
Back with the Trinity
The Trinity had taken their time to grow stronger in the Demon Castle Tower, practicing their skills and gaining more fighting experiences. Izuku's Shadow Army is not slouching either as the new Shadows had improved themselves with their new shadow bodies and newly learned skills or magics.
During their grind, all of them had decided upon themselves to take care of the bosses they encountered on every 5 floors starting from the 15th floor and all of them agreed to never summon Mamoru when seeking demon souls for faster clear, much to Mamoru's displeasure. On the 15th floor, they encountered Ifrit, the Fire Demon Lord. Izuku's [Insight] told that Ifrit is a former fire mage that has been infected by demonic energy when the demons invaded his world. Taiyo beat the boss with ease, and ironically, overpowered the boss' fire magic with his own and gained the Necklace of Fire Warlord, which increases the wearer's magic by 30% and fire magic gains an additional 30%.
On the 20th floor, they're face-to-face with Erinyes triplets, Alekto, Megaera, and Tilphousa. Kuro chooses to fight them and wins, using his wind magic, feather-control which Izuku finds out that Kuro learns from seeing Hawks on television, and the spear fighting skills he learns from his seniors. Oh, and Kuro grows by a foot, surprising Izuku a bit. Izuku successfully [Shadow Extract] their corpses, letting them keep their name, and now Kuro got three doting babysitters, much to his grimace.
On the 25th floor, they encounter a black dog with shadows as its mane. Izuku's [Insight] says the dog is Garmr, the second guardian of the Demon Tower and Cerberus' apprentice, much to Izuku's surprise. Makoa chooses to be the one who beats the boss and Izuku uses [Shadow Extraction] to revive him. He gains a new name, Taeko, which the dog accepts with no hesitation and happily reunites with Mamoru. Izuku gained a new runestone [Shadow Step] which allows Izuku to travel between shadows over short distances. He uses it with no hesitation before it combines with [Shadow Exchange] and turns into [Shadow Travel] which makes Izuku happy since he doesn't have to use [Blade of the Underworld] to use that skill.
On the 30th floor, they're face-to-face with a giant fly, which terrifies the Trinity and Ochako one-shot it with an oversized [Flame of Courage] as the boss is immediately disintegrated. Everyone there agrees that shadow-extracting the giant fly is a no-go, so they simply take the item drops, [Bracelet of Beelzebub] and [Staff of Apomyius]. The trinity simply thought 'That explains everything' while sweatdropped.

[A bracelet imbued by Beelzebub's essences, granting users with strength, agility, and senses]
[Effect: Increases Strength, Agility, and Sense by 30%. Reduces the MP cost of [Vibration] by half.]
On floor 35, they're met with Lilith, the Mother of Demons, who overwhelms the trio with the constant spawn of demons, teleportation, and magic blasts. To make it worse, her massive spawn of demons didn't count on the demon souls meter. It becomes the Trinity's most frustrating battle, and they make it very clear when they mercilessly butcher Lilith with everything they've got, even when there's nothing but ashes on her body. Izuku was informed by the system that Lilith is not eligible for [Shadow Extraction] since she counts as a demon, but it didn't discourage Izuku as he hated that boss so much. And much to their displeasure, the demon didn't drop any items and only gave a huge whooping 2500 demon souls.
On floor 40, they encounter Lavillette, the Scorched Earth, and Eijirou easily beats the monster by ripping his head using his strength, wind magic, and therianthrope form. Speaking of therianthrope form, Eijirou's appearance changes more as his claws are now longer and sharper, a blade protruding from the tip of his tail, and his mane and fangs grow longer. He gains [Scorching Bracelets] which imbued his attacks with fire magic and runestones [Earth Armor] which provide him with more protection.
On floor 45th, they encounter Cursed Guardian Knight Golem. Izuku can't help but reminded of the Knight Golem he fought during the Job Change Quest but with undead knights instead, hellfire coming out of the creatures, and some pieces of armor look like it was melted. Levi took care of it with ease but the golem's item drop is a massive disappointment as they're all nothing but melted armor which is considered as junks by Izuku's system. He decided to sell all of them.
Now, the trio is on Floor 50th and they're facing an army of mid-rank demons named [Vulcan's Guardsmen] along with the boss, a giant pudgy demon holding a giant club, having two pairs of horns with three sets of eyes, red skins, and a fanged grin. Izuku's [Insight] states that the boss is Avaricious Vulcan, the ruler of the lower floor. This made Izuku raise an eyebrow at the title, wondering why it's considered floor 50 as a lower floor. Does that mean that the rest of the upper floor will be harder?
"Arise," Izuku didn't think too much and focused on the fight as he summoned the entire shadow armies, all had grown much and Izuku also noted that Igris seemed to regain more of his lost strength, which made Izuku pleased.
"Mages, on my command!" Ochako shouts before summons a golden energy while the Shadow Mages summon fireballs. "Fire!" Ochako launches the energy into the sky before it disperses into multiple arrows that rain down on the armies and are followed by the fireball, which clears 50% of the army. Vulcan raises its eyebrow as it witnesses the scene.
Izuku's Shadows along with Eijirou charge in and clear the rest of the army while Izuku watches, keeping his eyes on the boss. After a minute, Izuku's eyebrow furrowed as he couldn't help but be confused at why Vulcan hadn't moved a single inch as his army slowly died out by his shadows and friends. Is he-!?
The moment he blinked, Vulcan was out of Izuku's eyesight and Izuku immediately used his senses to detect the monster and saw him tear through the shadows and send them flying, but none of them were harmed. Izuku's eyes widen when he sees Vulcan charge toward Ochako with a perverted grin plastered on its face, causing his veins to pop before he coats his fist and legs with mana.
Vulcan manages to reach Ochako and plans to swing its club on her, causing Ochako to widen her eyes in shock at the sheer speed. But, thankfully, Eijirou arrived and blocked the attack, and to Vulcan's surprise, his clubs shattered upon impact. Ochako takes the chance to immobilize Vulcan using Aquarius' [Glaciate] which easily traps the giant behemoth. Vulcan tries to escape but Izuku suddenly arrives in front of Vulcan with a murderous rage on his face before proceeding to obliterate Vulcan's head into smithereens while shattering the ice.
"….eh?" Izuku blinks as he tries to proceed the fact that he just one-tapped the boss with nothing but his fist. Ochako and Eijirou watch the display with an expression that screams 'bruh' while the Shadows finish their fight and cheer for their Monarch. Izuku decided to open his system before his eyes twitch.

Without hesitation, he clicked on it and was greeted with another window.

Upon reading this, Izuku numbly stores the earrings in his inventory and his eyes widen in shock. These actions concern Ochako and Eijirou as they have no idea what made him react that way. Izuku turns towards Ochako and Eijirou, looking at them in fear and worry before grabbing both of them, recalling all of his shadows, and activating [Shadow Travel] to get out of the dungeon.
[To be continued]
