The Day After the Brisbane Chaos

The sun rose over Brisbane, casting a warm glow over the city still reeling from the chaos of the previous day. The news of the 15 escaped prisoners, the tragic bus accident, and the intervention of Yafie Achmad Raihan, the heroic mix-breed, was the talk of every household. Lives were lost, but justice had partially been restored, thanks to those who stepped up to assist the authorities.

At the Heeler's House

Chilli Heeler, still shaken by the road rage incident involving Paulina Baker, was determined to move on. She had a shift at Brisbane Airport, where she worked as a security officer. However, she decided to leave her 2024 black Toyota Fortuner parked at home, opting to take public transport instead. It felt safer, and she wanted to avoid any more unnecessary confrontation on the roads.

Meanwhile, Bandit was handling the morning routine. He was charged with dropping off Bingo at her kindy and Bluey at Glasshouse Primary School. Despite the heaviness of the recent events, Bandit kept a cheerful attitude for his daughters' sake, cracking jokes and playing little games on their way out the door.

"Alright, you two, let's make this the fastest school drop-off ever! Who's ready for the Great Heeler Transport Service?" Bandit joked. "Me!" Bingo giggled. "Me too, Dad!" Bluey added, still a little tired but happy to see her dad trying to lighten the mood.

As the Heeler family carried on with their morning, the shadow of yesterday's events lingered in the air.

At Honeycake's House

Across town, at Honeycake's house, a small family gathering was taking place. Honeycake and Jerry Scutt were hosting her sister Melinda Paige, her brother-in-law Clancy Daniel, and their son Erick, a Tibetan Mastiff and one of Judo's close friends.

They sat around the table, sipping tea and talking about the chaos that had unfolded the day before in Brisbane CBD. The actions of the Red Kelpie, Border Collie, Blue Heeler, and Black Labrador mix —none other than Yafie Achmad Raihan —were the focus of their conversation.

"That's tragic, but at least those 15 escaped prisoners got their karma for breaking out of jail," Honeycake said with a sigh. "Only 10 of them were rearrested. The other 5? Killed in that crash."

The room was quiet for a moment, the weight of the loss sinking in.

"But this guy—this mix breed—he really helped the police when the bus... I mean, the stolen bus, was on the loose," Melinda added, nodding. "Maybe we should visit his house sometime to thank him personally?"

"If we have time," Honeycake replied, sipping her tea thoughtfully.

Meanwhile, Erick, who had been listening intently, checked the time.

"Come on, Erick, let's go to school. It's almost late," Melinda said, snapping him out of his thoughts.

On the Way to School

As they drove to Erick's school, memories of May 20, 2025, resurfaced in Melinda's mind. On that day, Erick had bravely stepped in to protect Yafie from a pair of bullies, Paul Jackson and Frank Andrew, a Bull Terrier and a Bull Mastiff, respectively. It was the same school attended by Judo and Ricky Stan, making the connection between the families even stronger.

"Erick," Melinda said as she glanced at him in the rearview mirror, "do you remember that day you stood up for Yafie?"

"Yeah, Mum," Erick replied, his voice steady. "He's a good guy. He didn't deserve what happened to him back then."

"No, he didn't," Melinda agreed. "And yesterday, he proved how brave he is. You should be proud to know someone like that."

Erick smiled faintly, feeling a sense of pride and admiration for Yafie. As they approached the school, the day ahead seemed full of promise despite the lingering sadness from the city's recent turmoil.

Meanwhile, Yafie

Back at his apartment, Yafie Achmad Raihan sat quietly, recovering from the emotional and physical toll of the previous day's events. Despite being hailed as a hero, the lives lost in the bus accident weighed heavily on him. He stared at his phone, wondering if the families of those victims would ever forgive him for his actions, even if they had been in the name of justice.

But deep down, he knew he had done what he thought was right. And that, in itself, gave him a sliver of solace amidst the chaos.

At Yafie's Apartment

It was a quiet morning at Yafie Achmad Raihan's apartment. He was still recovering emotionally from his involvement in the recent Brisbane chaos but tried to keep himself distracted. Feeling restless, he decided to visit Jonathan Mark, his dachshund neighbor. As he approached Jonathan's door and raised his paw to knock, the door suddenly swung open.

"Hey, Yafie! Wanna go roaming around Brisbane?" Jonathan said with a grin, startling Yafie.

"Whoa, I thought you weren't ready for something like that," Yafie replied, chuckling. "Yeah, let's hit the streets."

The Kijang Innova

The two headed to the apartment's parking garage, where Yafie's silver 2016 Toyota Kijang Innova was parked. The car, now bearing a Queensland license plate, still had its old white Indonesian license plate ("B 1812 KIE") stored inside. Jonathan hopped into the passenger seat as Yafie settled into the driver's seat.

As the engine roared to life, the car's radio, connected to a USB drive containing a collection of rain-themed songs, began playing Jonathan Clark's piano and violin cover of "Have You Ever Seen the Rain."

The soft melody brought a somber silence between them, triggering painful memories for Jonathan.

Jonathan's Flashback: The Yogyakarta Tragedy

Jonathan's mind drifted back to March 7, 2007, the day his life changed forever. He had been traveling with his family— Markus Henderson (father), Jordana Henderson (mother), and his older brother Carl Henderson —on a trip from Jakarta to Yogyakarta aboard Garuda Indonesia Flight 200, a Boeing 737-400.

The plane crash-landed, overrunning the runway, its nose gear collapsing upon impact. Fire consumed the fuselage as chaos erupted. Among the 21 people who lost their lives were Jonathan's parents and older brother. Only two-year-old Jonathan survived, rescued from the wreckage and later adopted by his aunt.

The flashback shifted, contrasting the tragedy of his childhood with the heroism of Yafie on May 20, 2025. He recalled hearing about how Yafie had confronted Paul Jackson and Frank Andrew, two notorious bullies, and protected Ricky Stan and Judo Chow Chow from harm.

Yafie's Flashback: May 20, 2025

In his own mind, Yafie relived that day—the anger, the fear, and the adrenaline. He remembered his bark echoing as he charged at the bullies.

"Hey! Get away from them!"

Paul sneered. "Oh, look, it's the hero again. Ready for round two, old dog?"

Frank added, "Let's show him what we're made of!"

Then, in an instant, the scene turned grim. Both Paul and Frank were dead—one with bite wounds to the neck, the other to the shoulder. Blood spilled onto the pavement. The aftermath played in slow motion, with Yafie collapsing under the weight of his actions.

The Present: An Accident

Jonathan & Yafie's flashback ended as the car jerked suddenly. A loud thud reverberated through the vehicle. Yafie slammed on the brakes, and both of them looked out the windshield in horror.

They had hit someone—a young male Kanni dog in his early twenties, an Indian national studying at the University of Queensland. The young man lay lifeless on the street, the scene eerily quiet.

Panic set in as Yafie gritted his teeth, gripping the steering wheel. "Play 'Have You Ever Seen the Rain' by Alphamega, now!" he barked at Jonathan.

Jonathan, shaken, quickly switched the music. The heavier tones of Alphamega's version filled the car as Yafie hit the gas, fleeing the scene.

Arrival at Brisbane Airport

They arrived at Brisbane Airport, parking the car in the lot. Yafie spotted Chilli Heeler, dressed in her security uniform, diligently performing her duties. He thought about approaching her but stopped himself, knowing the airport's strict access rules for non-travelers.

"We might not be able to go in here. Let's head back to Brisbane City," Yafie said, his voice tinged with frustration and guilt.

Jonathan nodded silently. They left the airport and decided to drive toward Glasshouse Primary School. The tension in the car was palpable, with neither of them speaking, the events of the morning weighing heavily on their minds.

What will happen when they reach their next destination? Will Yafie confront the consequences of his actions, or will his guilt continue to haunt him?

At Glasshouse Primary School

It was a bright and sunny noon at Glasshouse Primary School, where Yafie Achmad Raihan and Jonathan Mark arrived to meet Calypso, Bluey's teacher. The classroom was lively as usual, with kids chatting, playing, and laughing. As Yafie and Jonathan entered, all eyes turned toward them.

"Kids, we have some visitors today," Calypso said warmly. "This is Yafie, and..."

Jonathan stepped forward, wagging his tail. "Jonathan. Jonathan Mark."

"Jonathan Mark," Calypso repeated with a smile. "Everyone, we have new friends visiting us today."

The kids chorused, "Hi, Yafie! Hi, Jonathan!"

"Hi, kids," Yafie and Jonathan replied in unison, sharing a laugh.

"Nice to meet you all," Yafie added, nodding politely.

The Dachshund Connection

Jonathan noticed Snickers, the dachshund among the group, and pointed at him.

"You look like me," Jonathan said with curiosity.

Snickers blinked in surprise. "What?"

Coco chimed in, "Yeah, Jonathan and Snickers do look alike!"

Bluey stepped forward, her paw on her hip. "Cut it out, Coco. Jonathan's a grown-up, and Snickers is our age. They're not the same."

Chloe nodded. "Yeah, Bluey's right. Snickers is just like the rest of us."

Coco's ears drooped. "Oh... sorry."

Jonathan chuckled. "No worries, Coco. I guess we dachshunds all have some similarities."

Yafie's Heroic Deeds

Indy wagged her tail excitedly and stepped closer to Yafie. "Yafie, I heard you're a hero for the community. Is that true?"

Yafie scratched the back of his head modestly. "Well... yeah. I helped Ricky Stan and Judo when they were being bullied back in May. And recently, I assisted the police in stopping those escaped prisoners who stole the Brisbane Transport bus. I also try to help the community in small ways whenever I can."

The kids' jaws dropped, their tails wagging enthusiastically.

"Wow!" they said in unison.

Mackenzie grinned. "You're so great, Yafie!"

Chloe added, "You're the best hero for the community!"

Coco's tail wagged. "The entire community loves you!"

Yafie smiled, his tail wagging slightly. "Thanks for the praise, but I'm just an ordinary dog like all of you. Anyone can make a difference if they care enough to try."

Bluey raised her paw. "Oh, I almost forgot! Last year, you saved Lucky's dad from that Pit Bull's bite. Is that true?"

Yafie nodded. "That's true. It was a tough moment, but I intervened before things could get worse."

The kids gazed at Yafie in awe.

A Fond Farewell

Calypso clapped her paws gently. "Well, Yafie and Jonathan, you've shared some amazing stories with us today. Thank you for visiting!"

Yafie nodded respectfully. "Thank you, Mrs. Calypso. It's been an honor to visit such a special place."

The kids waved as Yafie and Jonathan walked toward the door. "Goodbye, Yafie! Goodbye, Jonathan!" they called out.

Yafie and Jonathan waved back, smiling. "Goodbye, kids. Be good!"

Snickers' Curiosity

As the door closed, Snickers turned to Coco, curiosity gleaming in his eyes. "Coco, do you think Jonathan will come back again?"

Coco shrugged. "Maybe. Why do you ask?"

Snickers glanced down. "I don't know. I just... feel like I should talk to him more. He reminds me of my mum."

Chloe tilted her head. "You mean his fur color?"

Snickers nodded. "Yeah, his fur is brown like my mum's. But... his face and body kind of look like mine."

Bluey chuckled. "Well, Snickers, if he comes back, you can ask him more questions. For now, let's get back to class!"

Snickers smiled, his tail wagging slightly. "Yeah. Maybe next time."

Will Snickers get the chance to bond with Jonathan Mark? What's next for Yafie and Jonathan as they navigate their day in Brisbane?

Saturday Morning, August 10, 2025

The sun shone brightly over Fortitude Valley, casting a warm glow over the apartment complex where both Yafie Achmad Raihan and Jonathan Mark Henderson lived. It was a quiet Saturday morning, and the air buzzed faintly with the hum of distant traffic. Inside Jonathan's unit, Yafie and Jonathan were lounging, sipping tea, and discussing their plans for the day.

A knock on Jonathan's door startled them both.

Yafie got up to answer. Opening the door, he was greeted by Vikki Dachshund and her son, Snickers Dachshund, standing politely.

"Oh, Snickers. What's up?" Yafie asked curiously.

"We're here for Jonathan Mark," Vikki said, her tone calm yet firm. "My son wants to know more about him. Can we come in?"

Yafie tilted his head, a bit puzzled. "Uh, I'll check with Jonathan first." Turning back, he called out, "Jonathan! Can Snickers and his mum come in? Snickers wants to meet you."

Jonathan, who was seated on the couch, shrugged. "It's your call, Yafie. No problem on my end."

Yafie nodded and stepped aside. "Yeah, sure. Come on in. No drama—he's my best friend, by the way."

Inside Jonathan's Unit

Vikki and Snickers entered, their tails wagging slightly. Jonathan greeted them warmly, shaking paws with Vikki.

"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Vikki," Jonathan said. "And hey, Snickers."

Snickers beamed. "Hi, Jonathan. I just... wanted to know more about you. You look like me, and it's kinda cool to see an adult dachshund like you!"

Jonathan chuckled, sitting down on the couch. "Well, there's not much to me, honestly. Just a dachshund trying to live a peaceful life in Brisbane." He gestured to the couch, inviting them to sit.

As the conversation began, Yafie excused himself. "I'll head back to my unit for now. You three have fun."

But as soon as he stepped out of Jonathan's door, he was met by two police officers—a German Shepherd named Officer Marc Kerry and a Cane Corso named Officer Berry Corso.

The Interrogation

"Ah, crap," Yafie muttered under his breath, sensing trouble.

"Are you Yafie Achmad Raihan?" Officer Berry asked in a serious tone.

"Yeah… that's me. What's this about?" Yafie replied cautiously.

Officer Marc stepped forward, his expression stern. "You're under arrest for a hit-and-run incident resulting in the death of a pedestrian, Abhiram Rama Vijay, a 20-year-old Kanni."

Yafie's eyes widened. "Wait, what?! It was an accident! I didn't mean for—"

Officer Marc cut him off. "Regardless, you're being taken into custody."

From inside Jonathan's unit, the raised voices drew attention. Vikki, Snickers, and Jonathan peeked out to see Yafie being restrained.

"Jonathan! Get everyone involved! Make another petition or something!" Yafie barked desperately as the officers began escorting him away.

Jonathan clenched his jaw, nodding. "Don't worry, Yafie. We'll fix this."

The Petition Movement

Back inside the apartment, Jonathan quickly turned to Vikki. "We have to act fast. This is the second time Yafie's been in this kind of situation."

Vikki corrected him. "Actually, it's the third time—remember Gregory Maurice last year?"

Snickers chimed in. "Yeah, and Yafie was only defending himself and Lucky's dad."

Jonathan nodded firmly. "Exactly. We need to rally the community again."

Over the next several hours, Jonathan, Vikki, and Snickers began drafting a petition for Yafie's release. They reached out to everyone in the community who had supported Yafie in the past.

The Community's Response

The outpouring of support was overwhelming. Signatures flooded in from families all over Brisbane:

- The Campbell Family

- The Weaver-Chow Chow Family

- The Heeler-Cattle Family

- The Retriever Family

- The Poodle Family

- The Dalmatian Family

- The Border Collie Family

- And many more...

From children to adults, everyone who knew Yafie vouched for his character, emphasizing his contributions to the community and the likelihood that the incident was a tragic accident.

Justice Prevails

Within days, the petition reached the authorities, accompanied by the lack of concrete evidence tying Yafie to the alleged crime beyond circumstantial details. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the evidence was insufficient to convict him.

On August 15, 2025, Yafie was released. Jonathan, Vikki, and Snickers were waiting outside the station when he walked out.

"Welcome back, mate," Jonathan said, patting him on the back.

Yafie sighed deeply, a mixture of relief and exhaustion. "Thanks, everyone. I owe you all—again."

Snickers grinned. "You don't owe us anything, Yafie. You've done so much for us already."

What new challenges and adventures await Yafie, Jonathan, and their community? One thing's for sure—their bond grows stronger with every trial they face.

Morning of August 17, 2025

The sun filtered through the windows of Adam William Campbell's house, casting a soft glow over the neatly arranged living room. Adam, now an early middle-aged pug, sat at the dining table with a cup of coffee and a box of old archives he had dug out from storage.

He sifted through the contents—faded documents, yearbooks, and old photographs. As he flipped through the stack, his paw paused on a particular photo. It was slightly yellowed with age, but the image was still clear: a young Adam, just 16 years old, standing on Mission Beach beside a beautiful female Pomeranian.

The date, June 28, 2002, was scribbled in the corner of the photo.

Adam stared at it for a long moment, his tail drooping slightly as a wave of nostalgia washed over him. He held the photo up to the light, tracing the smile on Jasmine's face with his eyes.

Flashback: June 28, 2002

The beach was alive with the sound of waves crashing and seagulls crying. The salty breeze ruffled Adam's fur as he stood with Jasmine on the warm sand.

"Come on, Adam!" Jasmine laughed, her fluffy tail wagging as she held his paw, tugging him toward the shoreline. "The water's perfect!"

Adam chuckled, a bit nervous but willing to follow her lead. "Alright, alright, I'm coming! Just don't drag me under!"

They splashed around in the shallows, laughing and chasing each other. Adam's parents, Allan and Linda Campbell, watched from under a beach umbrella. Allan had a camera in hand, capturing moments of their trip.

"Adam, Jasmine! Look over here!" Allan called out.

The two teens turned toward him, their laughter still bubbling as they posed for the camera. Adam wrapped his arm around Jasmine's shoulder, and she leaned her head against his. The camera clicked, freezing the moment in time.

Later that day, the two sat on the sand as the sun began to set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink.

"Jasmine," Adam said, his tone more serious now. "Do you think we'll always stay like this? Together, I mean."

Jasmine smiled softly, her ears twitching in the breeze. "I hope so, Adam. You're special to me."

They sat in silence, watching the sun dip below the horizon, their pawprints side by side in the sand.

Back to the Present: August 17, 2025

Adam blinked as the flashback faded, the sounds of the beach replaced by the hum of the ceiling fan. He stared at the photo again, his heart heavy with memories.
"Who's that?" a curious voice piped up behind him.

Adam quickly turned to see his young son, Ricky Stan Campbell, standing by the table.

"Oh, nothing," Adam said, hastily tucking the photo back into the box. "Just something boring from a long time ago. Why don't you go play with Judo? She's here for you."

Ricky tilted his head, sensing something deeper but deciding not to press. "Okay, I'll go play with Judo now!" he said cheerfully, running off toward the backyard where Judo was waiting.

Once Ricky was gone, Adam pulled the photo out again. He stared at Jasmine's smiling face and let out a deep sigh.

"I'm sorry, Jasmine," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "I never got to say goodbye properly… I hope you're happy, wherever you are."

Adam gently placed the photo back in the box, closing the lid as if sealing away a part of his past. But the memories lingered, vivid and bittersweet.

Adam's moment of reflection marks just one chapter of his life. Will his past find a way to influence his present? Or will these memories remain tucked away in the archives of time?

August 17, 2025 – Brisbane Airport

The soft hum of jet engines filled the air as a Qantas flight from Tokyo Narita touched down at Brisbane Airport. Among the passengers disembarking was a petite, elegant female Pomeranian, Jasmine, accompanied by her husband, Takeo Hiroto Tadashi, a male Japanese Terrier with a polite demeanor and a sharp sense of style.

Jasmine took a deep breath as she stepped into the familiar Brisbane air. "It's been so long..." she murmured.

Takeo glanced at her curiously. "You seem nostalgic. Is Brisbane very special to you?"

Jasmine smiled, her eyes glistening with emotion. "Yes. It's where I grew up... and where I met someone very special."

Takeo gave her a supportive nod. "Show me everything, then. I want to see the city through your eyes."

Mount Coot-Tha Lookout

After a brief rest at their hotel, Jasmine and Takeo joined a guided tour heading to various Brisbane landmarks, including the stunning Mount Coot-Tha Lookout, which offered panoramic views of the city.

As they admired the view, Lukas Anthony Weaver, who happened to be there with Jonathan Mark, spotted the pair.

Lukas's sharp eyes recognized Jasmine instantly from the old photos Adam had shown him. But the sight of her with a Japanese Terrier piqued his curiosity.

"That must be her..." Lukas muttered to Jonathan.

"Who?" Jonathan asked, sipping his iced tea.

"Adam's first girlfriend, Jasmine. But who's that guy with her? Wait, I need to call Adam!" Lukas said, pulling out his phone.

The Call

Adam was at home, still contemplating the old photo of Jasmine, when his phone rang.

"Lukas? What's up?" Adam answered.

"Adam, I saw someone at Mount Coot-Tha Lookout. It's Jasmine... and she's with some Japanese dog. You need to come here quickly!" Lukas said urgently.

Adam's heart skipped a beat. "Jasmine? Are you sure?"

"Positive. But you better hurry. They're about to leave."

"Alright, follow them and keep me updated. I'm on my way." Adam said as he grabbed his keys and rushed out the door to his silver 2022 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

The Chase

By the time Adam reached Mount Coot-Tha, Lukas had already begun tailing the tour bus carrying Jasmine and Takeo. Lukas's red 2024 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 was an easy vehicle to spot, making it simple for Adam to catch up.

On a winding road leading away from the lookout, Adam finally spotted the red tour bus with Lukas's truck following close behind. Determined, Adam sped up, maneuvering past other cars.

In a reckless move, Adam overtook the tour bus and abruptly stopped in front of it, forcing the bus to halt. The screech of brakes filled the air as passengers jolted in their seats, some yelping in alarm.

Lukas pulled over behind the bus, jumping out of his Silverado.

"Let's go," Adam said as he exited his Pajero Sport.

Both of them boarded the bus, ignoring the bewildered looks from passengers. Adam's eyes scanned the rows of seats until they landed on Jasmine.

Her eyes widened as recognition dawned on her. But before she could say anything, Takeo leaned forward protectively.

"Hi. What are you looking for?" Takeo asked, his tone calm but firm.

Adam hesitated, suddenly feeling the weight of the moment. "I'm... sorry," he said awkwardly. "Maybe we'll talk another time. My name's Adam."

Takeo nodded politely but remained cautious. Jasmine, meanwhile, stayed silent, her emotions unreadable.

Sensing the growing tension among the passengers, Lukas gently tugged Adam's arm. "Let's go, mate."

Reluctantly, Adam followed Lukas off the bus, leaving a trail of murmurs and a few panicked passengers dialing 000.

Back at Adam's House

Once they returned to Adam's home, Lukas broke the silence. "What was that, Adam? You just froze up!"

Adam slumped into his chair, rubbing his temples. "I didn't expect her to be with someone else, Lukas. I... I just needed to see her. But now, I don't even know what to say."

Lukas placed a paw on Adam's shoulder. "Maybe it's better this way. She has her own life now, and so do you. But if you still need closure, you'll have to handle it better than storming a tour bus."

Adam nodded silently, his thoughts still racing. "You're right... but seeing her again after all these years... it brought everything back."

As the day turned to evening, Adam stared out the window, his heart heavy with unresolved feelings. Would he ever get the chance to speak to Jasmine properly? Or was this encounter all the closure he would get?

Will Adam and Jasmine cross paths again? And how will Adam handle the emotions stirred up by her unexpected return to Brisbane? Only time will tell.

Sunday Morning, August 18, 2025 – The Hotel

Jasmine and Takeo sat in the cozy dining area of their Brisbane hotel, enjoying a quiet breakfast. Jasmine delicately sipped her tea while Takeo, with his usual composed demeanor, savored his meal.

Takeo turned to his wife, his tone curious. "Yesterday, when we were on the tour bus, I noticed you seemed startled by someone. Was it someone special to you?"

Jasmine set her teacup down, her gaze thoughtful. "Yes, Takeo. It was Adam William Campbell. He was my senior high school friend—and my first boyfriend. I couldn't believe it when I saw him yesterday. But the whole situation was so chaotic, I didn't get the chance to speak with him."

Takeo listened attentively. "I see. So he's someone significant from your past. Why don't we visit him today?"

Jasmine hesitated. "Are you sure? I don't want to impose..."

Takeo placed a reassuring hand on hers. "If he's important to you, then I want to meet him. Besides, I'm curious about the people who shaped you into the Jasmine I love."

After finishing their breakfast, the couple decided to head to Adam's house.

The Journey to Adam's House

Jasmine and Takeo boarded a Brisbane Transport bus. During the ride, Jasmine looked out the window, her mind wandering to the past. At one point, a silver 2016 Toyota Kijang Innova drove past in the opposite direction, catching her eye briefly. She noticed it but didn't dwell on it, unaware that the car belonged to Yafie Achmad Raihan, who was heading elsewhere.

Ten minutes later, the bus stopped near Adam's house. Jasmine and Takeo got off and walked to their destination.

As they approached the house, they noticed a white 2022 Ford Ranger parked in front. It belonged to Oliver, one of Adam's friends.

At Adam's House

The couple knocked on the front door. After a moment, it was opened by Jill Francine Campbell, Adam's wife.

"What can I help you with? I'm Jill," she said politely.

Before Jasmine could reply, Adam's voice called from inside. "Jill, let them in."

Jill stepped aside, gesturing for Jasmine and Takeo to enter. "Come on in."

Inside, Jasmine and Takeo were greeted by a warm atmosphere. They immediately noticed Oliver, a friendly-looking male Golden Retriever, sitting in the living room.

Jasmine introduced herself. "I'm Jasmine, and this is my husband, Takeo."

Takeo nodded. "Nice to meet you."

Oliver stood up and extended a paw. "Hi, mates. I'm Oliver. Welcome."

Adam entered the room, his expression a mixture of surprise and nostalgia. He locked eyes with Jasmine, and for a moment, it felt like time had rewound 20 years.

"Jasmine... it's been a long time," Adam said, his voice softer than usual.

Jasmine smiled warmly. "It has, Adam. You haven't changed much."

Adam chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "Well, I'd say I've changed quite a bit. But it's good to see you again. And you too, Takeo."

The group settled into the living room, exchanging stories and catching up. Adam shared tales of his life in Brisbane, while Jasmine and Takeo recounted their adventures in Japan.

At the Heeler Household

Meanwhile, over at the Heeler's house, Bluey and Bingo were playing dress-ups with their friend Chloe, a Dalmatian. Bluey wore a white satin gown, Bingo donned a purple silk dress, and Chloe sported a light blue dress with layers of tulle.

The trio pranced around the living room, pretending to be princesses in a royal ball.

In the kitchen, Bandit and Chilli were entertaining guests— Frank and Hsiao, parents of Chloe.

The conversation turned to the community.

"Have you noticed how much people have started talking about Yafie lately?" Hsiao said. "Some even call him a 'savior' for stepping in during situations most would avoid."

Chilli nodded. "He's had a rough time, but his heart's always in the right place."

Bandit added, "It's not easy to do what he's done. I just hope people remember to support him when he needs it."

The group continued chatting, their bond as neighbors and friends growing stronger with each passing day.

Back at Adam's House

As the conversation with Jasmine and Takeo wrapped up, Adam walked them to the door.

"It was really nice seeing you again, Jasmine," Adam said. "And Takeo, it was great meeting you. You're a lucky guy."

Takeo smiled. "And you're a good man, Adam. Thank you for welcoming us."

As the couple left, Adam watched them go, a bittersweet feeling settling in his chest. He knew that chapter of his life had long since closed, but seeing Jasmine again brought a sense of closure he hadn't realized he needed.

"Goodbye, Jasmine," Adam whispered, before returning to his family.

Will Jasmine and Adam's paths cross again during her time in Brisbane? How will Adam move forward now that he's finally seen her after so many years? Only time will tell.

Sunday Afternoon, August 18, 2025 – Hammerbarn

Yafie parked his silver 2016 Toyota Kijang Innova in the crowded Hammerbarn parking lot. He had just come from Richard Border Collie's house, where Richard had expressed the need for some home improvements. Yafie, always ready to lend a hand, decided to help by purchasing materials from Hammerbarn.

Inside the store, Yafie carefully selected what was needed for Richard's house: paint, brushes, screws, a toolbox, and even a sturdy ladder. As he strolled through the aisles, he couldn't resist adding a few items for his own personal projects, which included some unique crafting materials for his latest DIY creation.

After checking out at the counter, Yafie stopped by the Hammerbarn food stand. He bought himself a —a quick snack to fuel him for the day.

Driving to Richard's House

With his purchases loaded into the back of the Kijang Innova, Yafie drove to Richard Border Collie's house. The drive was peaceful, with soft tunes playing from his car stereo. Upon arrival, Yafie unloaded the items he had bought and handed them over to Richard, who thanked him profusely.

"You're a lifesaver, mate," Richard said, patting Yafie on the back.

"No problem, Richard. Let me know if you need help setting these up," Yafie replied with a smile before heading back to his car.

Back at the Apartment

Returning to his apartment, Yafie felt the weight of the day's errands. He set his car keys on the counter, kicked off his shoes, and headed straight for his bedroom. He powered on his PC and decided to indulge in some nostalgia by watching one of his favorite childhood TV shows, "Nirmala", a classic Indonesian series produced by MVP (Multivision Plus).

As the familiar opening theme played, Yafie smiled, memories flooding back. The episode he started with focused on the humorous antics of Komar and Bino, the bumbling antagonists of the show. When Nirmala's magic caused chaos in their lives—like turning Komar's henchmen into hyperactive children—Yafie laughed so hard he nearly fell off his chair.

Episodes 58 to 66: Chaos and Emotion

The show took a chaotic turn in episodes 58 to 66, with Komar and his gang continuously failing in their schemes, only to end up in ridiculous situations. Yafie found these scenes hilarious, bursting into uncontrollable laughter.

However, as the show shifted its focus to Debra, the mother of Tio (Nirmala's puppy friend), the tone became more emotional. Debra, affected by a mysterious magical door, showed signs of dementia-like behavior, which deeply resonated with Yafie.

He leaned back in his chair, his laughter replaced by a neutral, reflective expression. "This show... it somehow reminds me of something in the past," he murmured. The bittersweet moments of the series brought back distant memories of his own childhood and the challenges his family faced during those years.

For a while, he became so immersed in the series that he completely forgot his initial plan to work on his crafting project. The nostalgic journey through "Nirmala" consumed his afternoon, blending laughter with reflection.

What will trigger Yafie's next move after this trip down memory lane? Will his nostalgia inspire him to reconnect with someone or reignite an old passion? Or will the chaos of everyday life soon catch up with him?

Sunday Night, August 18, 2025 – Kelpie Family's House

The quiet of the Kelpie household blanketed the night as the stars twinkled above the Australian countryside. Inside the room shared by Rusty, Dusty, and Digger, the air was calm. Dusty, the youngest of the siblings, lay asleep on the upper bunk bed, her breathing soft and rhythmic. On the lower bunk, Digger sat reading, his eyes slowly growing heavy from the day's events. Meanwhile, Rusty, lying on his own bed nearby, gazed up at his little sister's sleeping face.

Dusty's face looked so peaceful, so angelic, in her sleep that Rusty couldn't help but smile softly. Watching her filled him with a warm sense of love and responsibility. As he continued to watch, the day's tiredness finally caught up with him, and he drifted off into his own dreams.

Rusty's Dream

In his dream, Rusty found himself standing on the edge of a vast canyon, the wind howling softly through its rocky expanse. Across the canyon, he saw Indy, her figure bathed in warm golden light, standing on the opposite side.

"Rusty!" Indy's voice echoed, reaching him like a whisper carried by the breeze. Rusty tried to respond, but his voice seemed lost in the canyon's depths. He stepped closer to the edge, but the ground beneath him crumbled away, leaving him unable to cross.

Then, out of nowhere, he saw Dusty and Yafie running toward the canyon. To his astonishment, they didn't stop at the edge—they simply ran into the air as though the canyon didn't exist, their feet floating effortlessly above the void.

Dusty looked radiant in her satin white dress with layers of tulle swaying gracefully in the wind. Beside her, Yafie was dressed sharply in a black tuxedo, his presence calm and determined. They moved with such ease and confidence that Rusty felt inspired.

Closing his eyes, Rusty took a step forward. To his surprise, he too was walking on air. Opening his eyes, he saw Indy still waiting for him, her smile encouraging him to keep going.

Just as he began to run toward her, a sudden, eerie sound echoed through the canyon. From the left, a freight train appeared, floating mid-air like a ghostly specter. It barreled toward him at an incredible speed, its wheels spinning furiously despite the lack of tracks.

Rusty tried to move out of its path, but the train's speed was overwhelming. It struck him with a deafening roar, and everything went dark.

Awakening to Dusty's Crying

Rusty jolted awake, his heart racing and his breathing heavy. As his eyes adjusted to the dim light of the room, he heard a soft, heart-wrenching sound— Dusty's crying.

Turning toward the source, Rusty realized that in his sleep, his hand had accidentally hit Dusty, waking her up. She was clutching her blanket, her cheeks streaked with tears.
"Dusty, I'm so sorry!" Rusty said, his voice trembling as he climbed up to her bunk.

He wrapped his arms around her gently, stroking her back to calm her. "It's okay, I'm here. I'm sorry, Dusty," he whispered, his guilt evident.

After a few minutes, Dusty's sobs quieted. She rested her head on Rusty's chest, her tiny hands clutching his shirt. As she drifted back to sleep, Rusty stayed with her, holding her close in a comforting hug. The warmth of her little body brought him a sense of peace, and he too drifted off again.

Digger's Sleepless Night

On the lower bunk, Digger had been awoken by the earlier commotion. Sitting up, he watched Rusty comfort Dusty with a mix of admiration and longing. Unable to fall back asleep, he reached for one of his books—a science guide about stars and constellations.

As he flipped through the pages, the quietness of the night returned. Eventually, his eyelids grew heavy once more, and he fell asleep with the book resting on his chest.

The Kelpie Household at Peace

The night passed quietly after that. Dusty and Rusty remained in their comforting embrace, their bond stronger than ever. Digger snored softly, his book still in his hands. Outside, the wind whispered through the trees, and the stars above seemed to shine a little brighter over the Kelpie family, keeping watch over their peaceful slumber.

Monday, August 19, 2025 – Early Morning

The room was quiet, the faint hum of the air conditioner the only sound in Yafie's apartment. He lay motionless in his bed, his mind lost in a vivid and surreal dream.

Yafie's Dream

In the dream, Yafie found himself in an open, surreal landscape bathed in soft, warm light. A little Blue Heeler girl, eerily resembling Bluey, lay asleep before him. Her dress shimmered—a mix of silk and satin in beautiful shades of pink with layers of tulle, creating an ethereal contrast to her blue fur.

Yafie knelt beside her, mesmerized by her peaceful form. He wanted to call out to her, but his voice felt trapped. Suddenly, the girl began to fade into thin air, her dress vanishing alongside her. Yafie reached out, but she was gone.

Before he could process the loss, he noticed his own body starting to disappear. Panic welled up within him as he blinked—and found himself in a familiar place: his own bedroom in North Bekasi.

The room was just as he remembered it, filled with old toys, books, and the scent of home. He saw himself as a child, playing joyfully. The scene filled him with a bittersweet nostalgia. Yet, before he could fully embrace the memory, his body disappeared again, the warm scene vanishing like a wisp of smoke.

This time, Yafie found himself standing in front of the Heeler's house. The sky was stormy, thunder rumbling ominously in the distance. To his horror, the house was completely destroyed —a ruin of shattered walls and debris.

Rain lashed down as Yafie stood there, helpless and overwhelmed by the sight. The emotions overtook him, and he began to cry uncontrollably. The loud crack of thunder shook him, and he felt his body grow weak, as though he were about to pass out.

Awakening in the Present

Yafie jolted awake, his breathing shallow and his heart racing. Sweat clung to his fur as he sat up, trying to shake off the remnants of the dream. The clock on his bedside table read 5:00 AM, and the weather outside was calm—clear skies with no sign of the storm he had witnessed in his dream.

Still shaken, Yafie muttered to himself, "It felt so real… Is the Heeler family okay?"

Unable to shake the worry, Yafie quickly got dressed and grabbed the keys to his silver 2016 Toyota Kijang Innova. He needed to check on them, just to be sure.

The Drive to the Heeler's House

The streets were quiet as Yafie drove through the dark early morning. The headlights of his car illuminated the way, casting long shadows against the stillness of the cul-de-sac as he neared the Heeler's house.

When he arrived, he was greeted by the familiar sight of the cul-de-sac, peaceful and untouched. The Heeler's house stood perfectly fine, its warm, welcoming presence a stark contrast to the ruins he had seen in his dream.

Some of the neighbors' houses had lights on, a sign that others were beginning their day. Relieved, Yafie let out a deep breath and sat in his car for a moment, allowing the tension to leave his body.

Return to the Apartment

As the sun began to rise, casting a golden hue across the Brisbane skyline, Yafie drove back to his apartment. The sky was clear, the earlier darkness replaced by the vibrant colors of dawn.

Back in the comfort of his home, Yafie decided to shake off the lingering unease by preparing breakfast. He made a simple meal— nasi goreng (fried rice) with a sunny-side-up egg and a steaming cup of Madura tea to soothe his nerves.

Sitting at his small dining table, Yafie replayed the dream in his mind. The Blue Heeler girl, the destruction of the Heeler's house, and the scenes from his childhood—it all felt like a strange puzzle with no clear answer.

As he sipped his tea, he muttered, "Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me… but I should keep an eye out."

With that, he turned on the TV to distract himself and prepare for the day ahead, the sunlight streaming through the windows a comforting reminder that everything was, for now, perfectly fine.

Monday Morning, August 19, 2025 – Heeler's Neighborhood

The cul-de-sac was quiet, the faint light of the rising sun illuminating the peaceful homes. Lukas, from his bedroom window, noticed a car parked briefly at the end of the street earlier that morning. Its headlights had been on, and the vehicle seemed to linger before turning around and leaving the area.

Lukas scratched his head, perplexed. "Why would someone just sit there?" he wondered aloud. Concerned, he grabbed his phone and called Bandit.

The Phone Call with Bandit

"Hey, Bandit. I saw something strange this morning," Lukas said. "A car stopped in the cul-de-sac for a while and then left. Do you think it had any intentions?"
Bandit, still groggy from sleep, replied, "I don't know, Lukas. Maybe it's nothing, but if you're worried, check your CCTV or ask around."

Doreen's Revelation

As Lukas prepared to leave for work, Doreen knocked on the Heeler family's door. She seemed agitated, holding her phone in hand.

"Morning, Bandit. I saw something weird too," Doreen said. "My CCTV caught a car leaving the cul-de-sac early this morning. You should look at this."

Doreen played the footage on her phone. The video showed the taillights of a silver 2016 Toyota Kijang Innova turning around and leaving.

"That's Yafie's car !" Bandit exclaimed.

"It is," Doreen confirmed. "But why would he stop here and then leave? Something must be up."

Chilli Calls Yafie

Concerned about the odd behavior, Chilli decided to call Yafie directly. At that moment, Yafie was back at his apartment, enjoying a plate of his favorite nasi goreng and sipping Madura tea to start his day.

His phone rang, and seeing Chilli's name, he answered quickly.

"Chilli, what's wrong?" Yafie asked.

"Yafie, why did you come to our neighborhood so early in the morning?" Chilli asked, her tone calm but firm.

Yafie hesitated before responding. "I had a nightmare," he admitted. "In my dream, your house was in ruins, destroyed in a storm. It felt so real that I had to check if you were okay."

Chilli's voice softened. "Oh, Yafie… that's so sweet of you. But we're fine. It was just a dream, nothing to worry about."

Yafie sighed in relief. "Thanks for understanding, Chilli. Sorry for the trouble."

Breaking News: Honeycake Missing

As they were about to end the call, the TV in Yafie's apartment switched to a breaking news segment. The anchor reported the disappearance of Honeycake, a well-known Tibetan Mastiff, who had been missing since August 18.

"Hang on, Chilli," Yafie said, his tone suddenly serious. "Turn on your TV. Honeycake's gone missing."

Chilli hurried to the living room and turned on the news. The report confirmed the disturbing news: Honeycake had disappeared from her home, and authorities were investigating the possibility of foul play.

The Mission to Find Honeycake Begins

Alarmed, Yafie ended the call with Chilli and immediately contacted Detective Harold Johnson, a seasoned German Shepherd investigator.

"Detective, we've got a situation," Yafie said. "Honeycake is missing, and we need to act fast. I'll coordinate a team while you gather intel."

Detective Harold agreed. "I'll meet with Jerry Scutt to get more information. You handle the others."

Yafie quickly messaged his trusted circle on WhatsApp, which included Adam William Campbell, Richard Border Collie, Clancy Daniel, Melinda Paige, Jonathan Mark, and Hoshi.

Yafie's message

"Breaking news: Honeycake is missing! I need all of you to join me in finding her immediately. This is urgent."

The responses came swiftly:

- Clancy Daniel "On my way!"

- Adam William Campbell "10-4, mate. Let's get this search started!"

- Richard Border Collie (Hand sign "OK")

- Melinda Paige thumbs up (signalling "affirmative")

- Jonathan Mark "On our way, Yafie."

- Hoshi "I'll alert the police too."

- Bandit "We're doing this for Honeycake!"

The Investigation and Discovery

For two days, the group conducted an extensive search. On the third day, Berry, a Cane Corso with a knack for sniffing out criminal activity, uncovered evidence pointing to a crime organization involved in Honeycake's disappearance.

The investigation revealed that Honeycake was being held in an old warehouse near Mission Beach, controlled by a gang led by Thomas John Friedman (Cane Corso), Daniella Cranley Friedman (Cavapoo), and Toni Nate Friedman (Cavapoo).

The Rescue Operation: "For Honeycake"

By the fifth day, an alliance was formed:

- Anthony Kelpie and his brigade of the Australian Army

- Detective Harold Johnson and the police force

- Yafie's squad, including Adam, Richard, Clancy, Melinda, Jonathan, Hoshi, and Bandit

- Berry's Special Emergency Response Team (SERT)

Together, they stormed the warehouse. A fierce battle ensued, with the team facing off against the Friedmans' thugs.

- Yafie wielded a Micro Uzi

- Hoshi fired an M16A1

- Bandit used Doreen's M1 Garand

- Richard handled a Heckler & Koch MP5

- Adam used an M4 Assault Rifle

- Clancy carried a Remington Model 870

- Melinda provided sniper support with an AW50F

The confrontation escalated into chaos. Despite being outnumbered, the team systematically defeated the thugs.
Key moments

- Yafie was hit by a bullet from Daniella, but his armor vest saved him.

- Bandit delivered a decisive shot to Toni Nate Friedman's head, ending his reign.

- Melinda eliminated 16 thugs, including Thomas John Friedman.

- Hoshi took down Daniella with precision shots.

With the gang leaders neutralized, the warehouse was secured. Anthony Kelpie found Honeycake, frightened but unharmed, and personally escorted her to safety.

Epilogue: Honeycake's Return

Back in Brisbane, Honeycake was reunited with her family, sparking celebration and relief. The joint operation was hailed as a success, with everyone involved praised for their bravery and determination.

As for Yafie, he sat with his team over a well-deserved meal, reflecting on the mission. Despite the chaos and danger, they had accomplished their goal: saving Honeycake.
