Jenoria paced around the guest chamber while Yoda looked through her fathers journal. As soon as she had mentioned the frequency of which the name Revan had popped up, the Grandmaster had become very serious and requested to inspect the book himself. She couldn't bring herself to relax as anxiety ate away at her at the prospect of her fathers past being darker than she ever thought possible.

"Calm yourself," Scarlet attempted to talk her wielder down, "Don't forget, even in this form, I share a bond with my sister that hasn't been severed, despite our distance in space and time. She is perfectly content with your father. If he had truly been corrupted by Revan, I would know through her."

'Would you though?' Jenoria shot back mentally, 'How can you truly be sure?'

Before she could get a response, Yoda got her attention by giving the journal back to her.

"Troubling, this is." Yoda voiced his concerns over what he learned.

"What is?" Jenoria asked, almost dreading the answer.

"Revans apprentice, your father was."

"How?! Revan existed 4000 years ago! How would papa have even met him?"

"Clear, the answer is, to someone with a level head," Yoda looked at her, "Calm yourself. Come to you then, the answer will."

Jenoria processed Yodas words and closed her eyes. She used every technique she was taught to calm her thoughts and nerves. Her breathing slowed as she dropped to her knees, giving in to the Force to find the answer. As she breathed, she felt the physical plane slip away as she fell into meditation. She opened her eyes, or rather exposed herself, to what the Force wanted her to see. She found herself floating in a red and black void.

"What is this?" Jenoria wondered aloud.

"This is the bond I share with my sister," The red of the void flickered with Scarlets words, "By opening yourself up to the Force, I am able to bring you in and allow you to finally bridge the gap."

"What gap?"

"I thought I sensed something familiar," Another voice startled Jenoria. She turned around to find the source and came face to face with someone she never thought she would see again. Dalkos Minara floated only a short bit away, a proud smile adorned his face, "Look how big you've gotten."

"Papa!" She almost pounced on him in joy before she remembered why she was there. She calmed herself and began, "Papa, I have your journal."

"Of course you do. How else would you be here?"

"I let master Yoda look through it after I found a name that concerned me."

"And...?"

"And he said..." She gulped as she prepared herself for the worst, "He said that you were Revans apprentice."

"Still am," Dalkos confirmed as calmly as if he was confirming a take-out order.

"Wha-?"

"It's complicated," He cut her off.

"Complicated?! How could you be a Sith Lords apprentice?!"

"My master isn't a Sith Lord," he stated matter-of-factly, "well, not anymore."

"It's true," a new voice sounded as the black of the void flickered, "It took some time for me to come to terms with it, but Revan is on our side now."

"Sister," Scarlet addressed the new voice, "It does me good to hear your voice again. But are you absolutely certain Revan is on our side? How can you be certain that you haven't been persuaded to turn?"

"Because, my ever doubtful sister, Dalkos has been working with his master in an eternal battle against the Sith. Particularly the one that has chosen him as a vessel."

"Wait, what?!" Jenoria exclaimed.

"Where do you think I got this?" Dalkos asked, pointing to his Sith eye.

"You said it was because a Sith flame made you its hearth!" Jenoria gave him an expectant look, only to receive one in return. She was confused for a moment as she processed the new information. She soon put two and two together, "The flame was a soul wasn't it?"

"Yes and no. The soul was inside the flame," Dalkos explained, "And it turns out the Sith aren't all bad."

"You lost me."

"Yeah, turns out that sometimes the Jedi are worse."

"..." Jenoria stared at her father in disbelief as she registered what he just said, "Explain."

"They stole her son."

"..." she blinked a couple times in confusion, "What?"

"The Sith in my body was a mother. The Jedi enacted a bit of guerrilla warfare on her enclave and took her son. Her hatred towards them is derived exclusively from that."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Her soul is literally in my body." He reminded her, "I don't meditate, I just have conversations... like the one we're currently having."

"Then why isn't she here?" Jenoria looked around, trying to find a flame.

"Courtesy." Dalkos claimed, receiving an arched eyebrow in response, "She wouldn't appreciate me interrupting a conversation with her son, so she's showing me that very courtesy."

"A Sith with honour," Scarlet mused, "I never thought I would see the day."

"They do exist, sister," The spirit within the black crystal stated, "or rather, they did."

"Yeah," Dalkos sighed, but then adopted a serious expression, "but that's enough talking about the Sith. Jenoria, I'm glad you reached out to me, because I need to warn you about a bigger threat."

"Does it have anything to do with the missing Jedi?"

"So they've already started making their move," He internally cursed at the poor timing of their meeting, "Listen closely Jenoria. I need you to pass this exact message to Master Yoda." Jenoria nodded and gave her father her undivided attention.

"They call themselves the New Order. They follow a bastardised version of Revans teachings. They promise enlightenment and the 'Truth of the Force', but it's a lie. They use it to lull Force Users into dropping their barriers to make their indoctrination process easier. Their true goal is to build an army to wipe out the Jedi, Sith, Republic, and anyone else who stands in the way of their conquest. As soon as they realised who I was, or rather who my master is, they tried to recruit me. But the very reason they wanted to recruit me was the very reason I was disgusted by them."

"Because you've experienced Revans teachings firsthand?" Jenoria guessed.

"Exactly," Dalkos confirmed before continuing, "The first chance I got, I escaped from their headquarters, causing as much damage as I could. It slowed them down, but clearly not enough. Thankfully, I spent the time between then and my return to Coruscant developing new techniques to counteract their unusual abilities. I documented each one as I made them and left them in an admittedly crude holocron that I hid on one of the worlds I found before I met your mother. I left clues to its location in my journal. And only someone who understands me can find them."

"So..." Jenoria slowly put it all together, "Auntie and I are the keys?"

"Mostly you. My child would have an easier time than my sister." He then looked off into the distance, and Jenoria also sense it from their current connection. Someone was approaching from his end, "I gotta go. It was good seeing you again."

"Wait, papa!" Jenoria reached out for her father.

"Any time you feel lost, trust in your heart. It won't lead you astray. And just remember that I'm proud of you, and I love you."

Dalkos severed the connection from his end, forcibly awakening Jenoria from her meditation. She slowly put her outstretched hand down and looked at her fathers journal in her other hand.

"Find the answer, did you?" Yoda asked.

"Sort of," Jenoria considered how she would relay the message to the Grandmaster, "But something more important has come to light."

Master Yoda adopted a contemplative expression as the princess began to relay her entire experience in the void.
