Ch 24 The Winds of War

"You're insane!" Kiara cried out, trying to push Scar away from her. "I'll never agree to be your mate! You hear me? Never! I'd rather die!"

"I had a feeling you'd say that," Scar said as he shoved Kiara to the ground. Two lionesses from the Pride quickly pinned Kiara to the ground, making sure she was on her stomach. "You're just like your mother," Scar was saying as he advanced towards Kiara, who was struggling to get away. "Nala was very resistant to my advances. I failed to achieve my goal with her. But I'll be damned if I'll be denied a second time!"

"Please," Kiara pleaded, the tears going down her face. "Please don't do this. Please don't hurt me!"

"You will be mine!" Scar shouted, letting out a blood chilling cackle. "Rather you like it or not! You. Will. Be. Mine!" With that Scar let out a roar as he prepared to mount Kiara. But before he could Nguvu jumped between them.

"No!" the grey coated young lion shouted, swiping Scar's face and sending him to the ground. "I won't let you hurt her!

"Nguvu no!" Shida shouted. "What are you doing?!"

"The right thing Mom!" Nguvu said, not taking his eyes off of Scar. "I cannot in good conscious just sit back and watch an innocent young lioness get raped! That goes to far! And you know I'm right!"

"Nguvu," Shida began.

"I know you're scared of him Mom," Nguvu said. "But you don't have to be."

"Nguvu is right!" Hai cried out, going to stand next to her boyfriend. "If we all stand up together and do the right thing then we can stop him!"

"Yeah!" Nguvu shouted, glaring at Scar, who was on his feet with Zira by his side. "He's old. If we join together we can defeat him!"

"Foolish boy!" Scar thundered. "I am the King of the Dark Lands. You go against me and you go against my entire Kingdom!" With that Scar let out a roar, summoning the rest of the lionesses.

"Nguvu please stop this," Shida pleaded. "I don't want to see you get ripped the shreds."

"Then help me Mom," Nguvu said, looking at his mother with pleading blue eyes. "Help me take the bastard down once and for all!"

"I'm with you Naggie," Hai said, nuzzling her boyfriend.

"Thanks babe," Nguvu said softly.

"I stand by my daughter," Cala said, standing beside Hai.

"Mom?" Nguvu said, looking at Shida. "Please say your with us."

"Of course I am honey," Shida said, nuzzling her son.

"I with you guys too," another lioness said.

"Me too," a third lioness said.

"Don't forget me," a voice said. The group turned and to their shock they saw Akali standing there with Chaka on her back.

"You dare go against me?!" Scar thundered.

"Yes I do!" Akali shouted back. "You're ruining the Dark Lands! Destroying them just like you did with the Pride Lands! These lands are my son's legacy and I'll be damned if I'm going to let you or anyone else destroy his future!"

"Like I was ever going to let your brat rule!" Scar thundered, snatching Chaka off his mother's back.

"Mama!" the terrified two month old cub cried out, his dark brown eyes wide with fear.

"No!" Akali cried out, her dark blue eyes also wide with fear. "Stop! Please don't hurt my baby!"

"If anyone tries to interfere then the brat dies!" Scar snarled, tossing the cub to Zira, who caught the boy in her jaws and bit down just hard enough for him to cry out in both pain and fear. "Am I clear?!" Scar glared at Nguvu when he said this part.

"Yeah sure," Nguvu hissed, glaring right back at Scar. "You're clear."

"Good," Scar growled, turning back to face Kiara, who was still being held down. "Now then," Scar said, taking Kiara's face in his paw and forcing her to look at him. "Where were we? Oh yes I remember. I was just about to make you mine!" With that Scar licked Kiara's face, causing her to gag in disgust. "Oh don't be so dramatic," Scar scoffed, rolling his green eyes. "Things are about to get so much worse for you." With that Scar let out an evil cackle as he went around to Kiara's rear.

"Please," Kiara sobbed, unable to stop the tears from flowing. "Please don't do this! Please I'm begging you not to do this!" But the young Princess' cries went of deaf ears as Scar prepared to mount her. Kiara closed her eyes as the sobs shook her body. She waited for the pain. But instead of pain she heard a voice cry out. "Sire there's an urgent matter that need attending to!"

"It can wait until I'm done here!" Scar snarled at his majordomo, Jambo.

"I'm afraid it can't wait Sire," Jambo said, tapping his wings together nervously. "I just received word the King Simba and his lionesses are heading this way! It's war!"

"Damn that nephew of mine!" Scar thundered. "Take my nephew's brat into the cave and lock her up with the other brat! Then meet me at the border! If it's a war that buffoon wants then its a war he'll get!" With that the lionesses dragged Kiara into the cave where two other lionesses were and locked Kiara inside the holding cave where Chaka already was. They shoved a boulder in front of the cave and left, cackling to themselves. Kiara sank down and tried to calm herself and stop herself from crying. It wasn't king before she heard soft crying from behind her. Turning Kiara saw Chaka curled up in a ball, crying his little eyes out.

"Hey sweetie it's ok," Kiara said softly, going over to Chaka and putting her paw around him. "My name's Kiara. What's yours?"

"Chaka," the little black cub sniffled, wiping his eyes. "I want my Mama!"

"I know you do sweetie," Kiara said, pulling Chaka close to her. "But I promise you Chaka I'm going to keep you safe until we can get you back to your Mama."

"Really?" Chaka whispered, snuggling into Kiara's side.

"Yes," Kiara said with a smile. "I promise you that." With that Chaka closed his eyes and snuggled deeper into Kiara's fur. "I just hope I can keep that promise," Kiara thought as she looked at the blocked cave entrance and let out a sigh. "Oh Daddy I hope you come soon," Kiara thought. "Before something really bad happens." With these thoughts Kiara laid her head down on her paws and waited for someone to come to her rescue.

TLKTLKTLK

Meanwhile at the Dark Land border Scar had assembled his lionesses and allies. "If you want the brats to live then you will do exactly as I say," Scar was commanding. "If any one of you even thinks about stepping out of line the both of them will die! Am I clear?!" The lionesses all muttered their agreement. All except for Nguvu who was off to the side along with Hai.

"I hate this whole thing," Nguvu muttered.

"I know," Hai whispered back. "I do too. But we don't have a choice Naggie. Kiara will die along with that poor cub if we don't."

"Not if I can help it," Nguvu said, a determined look going across his face.

"Naggie what are you..." Hai began. But she stopped when she heard a chorus of roars echo through the air. Hai and Nguvu turned and they saw Simba and his lionesses heading towards them. "And so it begins," Hai said with a sigh. With that Hai and Nguvu went to join the others, both of them desperately thinking of ways out of this mess they were currently in.
