On February 2nd, it is Groundhog Day which is today. I decide to write a story of Rio of Blu and my his brother Banjo which is the OC. Enjoy the story.
GROUNDHOG DAY
It is a wonderful morning in Minnesota. Blu and Banjo woke up.
"Good morning Blu." Banjo greeted his brother.
"Good morning Banjo." Blu greeted back.
Linda woke up and yawn. He sees her two companion Blue macaws.
"Good morning boys." Linda said as she rub both of them on the top of their forehead.
"Happy Groundhog Day." Linda said.
Blu and Banjo squawk.
Linda got dress, she have school today. After she got dress, Linda came out of the room with her two companion Blue macaws on her shoulders. She greeted her parents Leslie and Manny.
"Good morning mom and dad." Linda greeted her parents.
"Good morning Linda, Blu, and Banjo." Leslie and Manny said.
Linda's mother Leslie cooked breakfast for her husband and her made pancakes, eggs, and sausage.
"Blu and Banjo, I told you guys about Groundhog Day." Linda said.
Blu and Banjo shook in head as a yes.
"Groundhog Day means when it come out of its hole at the end of hibernation. The groundhog sees its shadow, if the weather is sunny—it is said to portend six weeks more of winter weather." Linda explained to them.
Leslie finished cooking breakfast.
"Manny, Linda. Breakfast is ready." Leslie said.
Linda and her father sit at the table. Leslie give them breakfast. They all sit together. Blu and Banjo joined them.
Linda and her family finished eating breakfast. Linda brush her teeth and she used mouthwash to goggle.
Linda got her backpack.
"Linda, you ready for the bus." Leslie said.
"Yes mom." Linda said.
Linda was in her room. Blu and Banjo is on her shoulders. Blu is looking for groundhogs.
The bus driver honk his horn.
"Linda, the bus is here." Leslie said. Blu and Banjo got off her shoulders.
"I have to go. Bye boys." Linda said as she picked up her backpack.
Blu and Banjo squawk goodbye.
"Bye mom and dad." Linda waved to her family. Linda leaves the house to get on the bus. The bus driver open the door for her and Linda got on the bus. The bus driver closed the door.
Blu and Banjo is looking at the window for groundhogs.
"Do you think we will see groundhogs today Blu?" Banjo asked him.
"I think so." Blu said.
Blu and Banjo looked at the window. He sees a hole from the ground, he sees a brown creature.
"Banjo, it's the groundhog." Blu said.
"Really, let's see it." Banjo said.
Blu and Banjo open the door and they are outside in the cold air. They are down the ground where the hole was.
The groundhog got out of the hole.
"Hello my name is Blu and this is my brother Banjo." Blu said to the groundhog as he introduced him and his brother.
"Nice to meet you groundhog." Banjo said.
The groundhog look at Blu and Banjo.
"I think he likes us." Blu said.
"Yeah." Banjo said.
The groundhog went back to the hole.
"That went well." Blu said.
Blu and his brother Banjo went back to the house.
They are excited to tell Linda they saw the groundhog when she gets home from school.
