The T-1000 managed to reconstitute itself once the magma into which it had been plunged by the T-800 began to cool, as melting the T-1000 was not enough to kill it. The T-1000 resumed its main program and managed to find and kill John Connor, since the T-800 was no longer there and John had become an easy target. But the war was not yet won for the T-1000, as Cyberdine's premises had been destroyed, along with the first Terminator's hand and chip. So the T-1000 hatched a plan. As a Terminator, T-1000 has exceptional physical abilities, so he decided to join an athletics club. The T-1000 was soon spotted and was able to take part in the Olympic Games, winning all the medals. So now the T-1000 had become very rich, and with the money he earned as an athlete, he revived Cyberdine and relaunched Miles Dison's research. The T-1000 launched research on a drop of his own polyalloy in order to duplicate himself, and relaunched very costly research to develop Skynet, and as the T-1000 was a very wealthy athlete, this research soon came to fruition. So, Judgment Day nevertheless came on August 29, 1997, and John Connor was gone. Nothing could stop the T-1000 from becoming the absolute leader of the machines. Skynet finally won, thanks to the T-1000.
