Bolin and Mako walked into the Temples library. The earthbender moved over to the section of Earth Kingdom history and began to look though the book covers. Mako, a little annoyed that he was pulled away from the fight, looked to his brother quizzically. After a moment he sighed, walked next to him and began to look at the book spines.

"Ok, so what are we looking for?" he asked.

Bolin pulled out a book and began to flick though it. "Anything to do with Avatar Kyoshi's early history. Anything to do with Avatar Yun,"

Mako blinked at that. "The false Avatar? Why?"

"That guy who was controlling those fighters the other?" Bolin half muttered but Mako nodded. "He looked a lot like Yun," that just got him a look from his brother.

"But he's dead," the firebender noted with confusion. "Why are we looking for someone who's been dead for… over 500 years?"

"I'm just wanting to confirm what I saw," Bolin replied. "Plus, it may help with answering what's going on here,"

Mako blinked again. "How?" he wondered. "How would it?"

"I'm not sure," his brother admitted. "But it's better than not knowing right? If anything, we'll be able to counter him and his tactics,"

Mako nodded in agreement. "Ok, so where to start?" he asked as he turned to look at the bookshelf helping his brother.

OOOOO

While looking over the armour Varrick kissed his wife on the cheek. "So, is everything getting there?" he asked.

"Slowly," Zhu Li replied as she kissed him back. "It's a bit hard getting all of this sorted during… well," she indicated to the destroyed city across the ocean.

"You'll be able to do it," he encouraged. "You always know how to do the thing,"

She smiled as the two kissed while Battar rolled his eyes. He tapped the armour getting a metallic sound as he did so. The words of Lin came to mind about how she couldn't bend it because it was a mix of materials such as metal, air, ceramics and others. The material was impure, but also pure as the components that made the armour up were impossible to bend. It was odd. On the one hand, the material was impure due to all the stuff in it so it should be bendable. But the materials inside them were too pure, like platinum, so they couldn't be bent.

But it was interesting on how it could have been made. The possibilities were practically limitless, but how was it made? He leaned in as the door opened. As it did, he turned to see Shepard walk in. She zeroed in on the armour and weapon, walking up to them.

"Ahhh, good to see you old friends," she muttered as she looked over the items.

Battar backed up a bit taking the woman in. She was about Korra's hight, but had blood red hair, a fairly muscular body with tattoos and scars running down her arms. There was something about her that just commanded attention, but he shook his head as he regained his mind.

"I was looking over them, but the technology is… beyond me," he muttered.

Shepard shrugged as Asami, Tenzin and Lin followed her into the room. "I'm not surprised. My tech is about 400 years from yours,"

The others looked at where with wide eyes, but Asami seemed to be unaccepting of that. "H..how?" she asked. "We've got radio, maglev rail lines…" she began, but the commander held up her hand.

"While the maglev and mechs you have are advanced, radios are about 500 years old for my people," Kwon explained before looking at the dark haired girl. "For example, do you know what a compressed, zero-g matrix is?"

Asami looked blankly at the commander. Before sighing. "No, I don't," she muttered.

"Well, neither do I," Kwon admitted. "But I'm told it's a common piece of technology used in mining. But you do see my point, right?" Asami nodded in annoyance, reluctant to admit it.

"Well, there goes my business plan," Varrick muttered earning a look from the commander. "What? I'm a businessman. I look for the best possible deal I can,"

Kwon sighed and rubbed her head. "And this is why the prime directive exists," she muttered.

The room frowned but it was Tenzin who spoke up. "Prime directive?"

Shepard chuckled as she leaned on the desk where her armour sat. "Well, the term and idea come from an old show. Basically, it states that if any pre-FTL, faster than light, species is found they are to be left alone. There was a situation where I come from where a race called the Krogan where uplifted and tried to take over," she sighed. "And that's a long story short,"

"A little late though," Lin muttered which Kwon laughed.

"True, but I would like to limit any knowledge and exposure to the tech we have," Shepard smiled with a soft smile. "I don't want to be responsible for… well…. Any of our more extreme tech to get in the wrong hands,"

Asami frowned. "What kind of tech?" she asked out of curiosity.

"Bombs that could level this city with few survivors leaving an invisible poisonous that causes mutations, peels the skin and more," that got more wide eyes than she expected. "So yeah, forgive me for being cautious,"

She turned to her armour while the others looked at each other with shock and confusion in their eyes. Asami then moved up to Kwon as the latter looked over one of the arms.

"I'm guessing that you managed to access something?" Shepard asked.

"Yeah, we managed to get a…. well, a window up," Asami explained.

Shepard nodded. "My omni-tool," she muttered as she pulled out a bracelet like object and attached it to her wrist.

It activated, covering most of her hand and forearm in an orange light before moving into lines. "Oh wow," Zhu Li said as she looked at it with Tenzin nodding.

Battar and Varrick just stared wide eye at it while Lin just looked unimpressed. Asami, on the other hand, just looked intensely at the device trying to figure out how it worked while Shepard typed something in. The window that Asami talked about popped up.

OOOOO

After getting all of the unknown civilians to a single location. Food, water and medical care was given to them, but none of them knew what was going on. Korra didn't recognise anyone else, but that didn't mech much. Kyoshi and Rangi were here, which exploded her mind with questions. But since they knew nothing, she couldn't do much. Feeling useless, she sat to one side and eating a pot of self-cooked noodles.

They were good, but not that good. She missed Pema's noodles and the restraint that she Asami and Mako went to. At that thought she paused and set her chopsticks back into the pot and slumped. As her mind turned to Asami, she began to wonder if she'd ever get back home. Mordin did say that there was a chance, but by the sounds of it, even he wasn't sure how to do it. If anything, she hoped that she was wrong and he had some idea of what to do.

Turning back to her noodles, she picked up several strands when her omni-tool activated shocking her off the rock she was on. Falling back, in a heap, her noodles splashed over her making her groan in annoyed about not getting her food.

"Sorry interrupting something?" a voice asked.

"Yeah, my lunch," Korra moaned as she turned to look at the red-haired woman on the screen. "Commander Kown Shepard, I believe," she muttered as she recovered and sat back on the rock.

"Avatar Korra, it's good to put a face to the name," Kown replied. "How are you holding up in my world?"

Korra smiled with a crooked grin. "Quite well, the tech is a little hard to get used to. But flying though space? That's an experience,"

Kwon was about to say something when someone familiar came into view. "Korra are you ok? You said traveling though space?"

The Avatar's smile turned soft as she looked at Asami. "Hi, you doing, ok?"

Asami blinked with a blush. "Don't change the subject," she half yelled.

"I'm fine," Korra said in an attempt to clam the girl down. "It's just weird here with all the technology,"

The Sato heiress was about to say something when Kwon moved back into the screen. "Before we continue, can you find Mordin? I need to talk to him,"

Korra stood. "Sure, he's looking at something with Tali," she then paused. "Err how…"

"Keep me on," Kwon said quickly. "I tried the others, but only managed to get a hold of you for soe reason,"

Korra nodded before moving off to look for Mordin.

OOOOO

Azula laughed out loud which echoed in the large empty space while the boy with the bandana paid her no mind while he examined Zaher. The former red lotus leader as strung up. The majority of his clothing ripped from him while his hands were attached to a set of chains that hung from the ceiling. His body was cracked with blood leading out of the wounds.

"You dumb fuck," she chortled. "You got beat by someone who couldn't even bend properly?"

"She had weapons," the boy shot back. "Not the bows you are familiar with, but something else that shot lightning,"

"Oh, a lightning bender?" Azula asked with a mischievous grin.

"No, a gun," the tall man said as he walked in.

Zaheer looked over him, the action causing intense pain making him groan. He didn't know how long he was here, but he did know that something was going on. Something he didn't like. As he looked up at the tall man, he realised that he wasn't a man, but something else. Not a sprit, not an animal, a creature of some kind with a not quite bird like head and grey stony skin. But t was his eyes, those glowing blue eyes that seemed to pierce his soul.

"Be wary, they come in my sizes and types," he wared but Azula just scoffed.

"I can move out of their way," she bragged, but the creature didn't seem to be impressed.

He didn't engage though as he turned to Zaheer. "Is he ready?"

The boy shrugged. "As ready as he's going to be,"

"The do it," an ethereal voice said and a door opened from under Zaheer.

A blue glow shined up at him and he tried to struggle as he was lowered into a pool of something. He didn't have time to scream as the chains opened and dropped him into the pool.

OOOOO

"This makes no sense," Korra heard Tali say as she approached the device that Mordin and Tali were looking at. "Why would the Geth make something like this?"

The device was a large pillar with a middle part that turned very slowly. It had a blue strip going around it, but there was not clear purpose to the machine.

"Unknown, design dies not conform to standard Geth specs," Mordin said in his usual rapid-fire tone.

"Which makes even less sense," the young quarrian countered. "They should be using their own standard tech, not something new like… this,"

Korra moved forward, but the two were too focused on their work to notice her. "Err Mordin?" she called out getting his attention.

"Ahh Korra, Miranda finished with dealing with the civilians?" he asked,

The Avatar brought up her arm and omni-tool. "Not quite, I've got Shepard," almost in a flash Mordin moved up quickly to the screen.

"Shepard, good to see you, how are you? Are you any different?" he began asking a number of other questions, very quickly.

"Like a hamster on coffee," the Commander muttered. "Mordin, focus," she snapped shutting him up to which the two apologised before continuing. "Ok, do you and EDI have a scan of the energy from when I was… well transported?"

"Yes, however data uncertain. Could be background radiation, could be something else," the scientist admitted. "Need more data. If someone could transport again, I could use it to build something to transport you back,"

To his surprise Shepard shook her head. "Not back, not yet at least. Something's going on over here. I spotted pools of Eezo,"

"Odd, Avatar Korra said that Eezo wasn't native to her world," he said as Korra, Shepard and him began to discuss the subject.

Tali did her best to tune them out when she noticed something on her omni-tool. A spike of energy that shot up and continue to for the next few seconds before stopping.

"What the?" she muttered as she looked to the machine and reached out to touch it.

One moment she was in front of the machine, the next she found herself standing in front of a bookshelf. She blinked before backing up, quickly.

"Kelah," she yelled with someone else yelling out.

She spotted a human on the floor. He had pale skin and a rounded belly and had the same shocked look as she did.

"Who are you?" the two asked at the same time.
