New enemies is always troubling, but new allies is usually beneficial. A sentiment Peter was debating at the moment as he and Rebecca came across a pair of new friends.

Peter hasn't always been the best of friends with Sunset Shimmer, and the two definitely had some lingering animosity between each other. But Peter also knew that she was an ally he and Rebecca could depend on, especially with Dante there.

It was a good thing they had come, especially given all that was currently happening. Dante's arrival was perfect timing in Peter's eyes.

"So basically, Leon called me and my wife here to stop one of Albert Wesker's evil plans," Peter said. "There's a group of us in this factory and just recently, we came across a not so pleasant showdown against some of Wesker's creations. He mass produced some tyrant type beasts."

"Never a dull moment with Albert Wesker around," Sunset said.

"To make things worse...Dante..." Peter began, getting the half-demon's attention. "I just saw your brother."

Dante tensed up a bit, the thoughts of his twin brother flashing through his mind. "I'm not surprised honestly. I knew Vergil was up to something."

"I don't suppose one of those things had to do with Wesker, did it?" Peter asked. "Because it seems like he and Vergil are on the same side."

"It wouldn't be the first time they teamed up," Rebecca said. "But I was under the impression that they didn't like each other."

"That's the thing with villains, they'll put their pride aside once in a while to deal with a common threat," Sunset said.

"Man does it hurt to call my brother a villain," Dante admitted. "You'd think I'd be used to it by now but, deep down, I feel like the real Vergil is somewhere in there."

"You're not wrong to feel this way," Peter said. "Any good brother wants the best for his family."

"Sentiment is appreciated, but I'll feel better with actual results," Dante said. "So, from the sound of things, you two are not the only ones here."

"We got separated from Chris Redfield and the others when Wesker activated a trap in one of the rooms," Rebecca explained.

"There's another group somewhere in this factory, one led by Leon Kennedy," Peter said. "They're trying to get more information out of this place. If they can at least."

"Recon huh? Not our thing," Sunset said. "I'd rather blow things up with magic."

"And I'd rather stick to my sword," Dante said. "But, I get that the side stuff is important too, so Leon's got the right idea."

"Well since you're here, that means you can help us," Rebecca said. "Just in time, we could really use help-"

"Hold up," Sunset aimed her fingers and fired. "BOOM!"

Peter looked up and saw a bloody mess where a licker once was, freaking the hero out. "Must you be so messy when killing these things?"

"Oh you can handle a little blood," Sunset said. "You've dealt with worse."

"Hey, most of the stuff I deal with is PG-13!" Peter insisted.

"Don't you know Black Cat?" Dante asked. "There ain't nothing PG-13 about that kitty."

"Let's focus please," Rebecca said. "But, given that B.O.W.s keep finding us, it might be better to walk and talk."

"And go BOOM!" Sunset blasted an oncoming zombie, once again leaving a mess of blood remaining.

"Sunset!" Peter scolded.

Rebecca chuckled to herself, the girl fully reminded of the train incident many years ago. "You haven't changed much, have you Sunset?"

"Define change," Sunset said.

"Let's just move!" Peter insisted as he walked forward.

"You heard the Spider-Man," Dante said as he followed with the girls by his side.

Meanwhile Chris and his team found themselves in what looked like a Greenhouse, the group carefully passing by the flora present in the room.

"Ever since Raccoon City, even Flower Shops haven't looked safe," Jill said.

"I still have second thoughts about going into a hospital," Carlos said. "I keep wondering if they have any secret lab of untold horrors in their basement or something."

"I've tried to avoid aquariums," Quake said.

"Try to keep it together," Chris said. "The last thing you want to to grow paranoid over this kind of thing."

"You call it paranoia, we call it reasonable cautiousness," Carlos said.

"Besides, given what we've had to deal with so far, it's not unreasonable to believe that this place could be just as dangerous as any other room," Jill said. "This isn't an ordinary factory."

"Yeah it isn't, which is why we need to stay focused," Chris said, then quickly aimed his gun when he thought he heard something. "I really hate this place."

"Should we just burn this place?" Carlos asked.

"Too risky," Chris said as he checked a plant. "Besides, some of these do look legitimate. If you see an herb, grab it. Those things have been real life savers before."

"No kidding," Quake said as she grabbed a nearby red herb. "Let's hurry though."

The group got what they needed and left the greenhouse, fortunate to have avoided any concerns. They kept walking forward until they reached what looked to be a break room, except it was completely dark.

"Someone get the lights," Jill said.

"I got it," Carlos flipped the switch to brighten up the room.

Upon doing so, they spotted some blood all over the table, causing them to reach for their weapons out of concern and caution.

"Something might have been in here," Carlos said.

"No kidding," Chris said as he checked the blood. "It's fresh, someone or something just recently got attacked in here."

"You think the attacker is still out there?" Barrett asked, then heard a sound coming from nearby. "What was that!?"

"Why so worried?" Came the voice of Wesker from a loudspeaker. "Surely a group of highly trained agents can handle a few measly monsters, can't they?"

"Wesker!" Chris called as he aimed his gun. "Where are you!? Show yourself!"

"Chris, you should know by now," Wesker said. "The final boss never reveals himself before his minions are defeated."

"I'm sorry, does he think we're in a video game or something?" Carlos asked.

"Just another creep with too much power," Barrett said as he readied his gun. "Whatever, let him send whatever he wants after us. We'll just brush through it like everything else."

"You're quite the brave warrior, Barrett Wallace," Wesker said as he pressed a button. "Time to back up what you claim."

A nearby shutter began to open, the sound from before getting much more erratic. From the other side was a giant bat creature with a metallic tail known as a Popokarimu.

"Chris!" Jill said in worry.

"I know, it's the same type of monster that we saw in Africa," Chris noted. "Looks like Wesker is recycling ideas."

"Why fix what isn't broken?" Wesker rhetorically asked. "Of course, this one is slightly more enhanced."

The creature broke free of its metallic restriction and landed on all fours before slowly standing and towering over everyone.

"Wow, how impressive, so it can walk now," Chris taunted just before the creature took to the air.

"It can do much more than that," Wesker said.

"Wesker, this won't be enough," Daisy said as she readied her gauntlets.

"You hear that Albert?" Came Juri's voice. "They want more."

"There's his psychotic little friend," Carlos pointed out. "Hey girlie! Why don't you come and fight!?"

"Oh I'd love to fight, but I'd rather go against someone that would actually give me a challenge," Juri said. "Not some frail little boy like you."

"Little!?" Carlos asked in disbelief.

"Okay then, if one isn't enough," Wesker pressed a button, and soon some loud screeches were heard. "Have some more."

Within moments, three more of the Popokarimu monsters had appeared after crashing through a wall.

"Looks like we got more," Carlos said as he readied his gun. "Fine by me."

"Bring it ya ugly beasts!" Barret said as he began firing at the monsters with his built-in machine gun.

The monsters attempted to surround the heroes present, but they were quickly able to break through, through some dodging and some counterattacking as they started leaving the room.

One bat tried following but Quake was quick to blast the creature point blank in the face with her gauntlets, completely destroying its head in the process.

"Split up!" Chris said. "Jill! Carlos! With me!"

"Barret, let's go!" Daisy said.

The two sides went down different halls while two bats each followed their enemies.

Carlos pulled out a grenade and tossed it back, causing an explosion that briefly stunned the monsters, but not enough to halt their momentum.

"Careful with the explosives!" Jill said. "We don't want to trigger some kind of gas leak!"

"We gotta slow them down somehow," Carlos pointed out.

The trio kept running and then barged through a door, leading toward the parking lot of the facility.

"We're outside?" Jill asked.

Chris turned around, "Don't let them out!"

The trio quickly closed the door to prevent the creatures from escaping, through this was going to be tough as they started banging on the door itself. Their strength was already proving too much for this trio of agents.

"We might need a little back-up here!" Carlos said as he used his back to press against the door.

"Too bad Peter's missing," Jill said, the girl using her shoulder and trying to focus on her leg strength.

"...This won't be enough!" Chris said as he pressed against the door. "When I give the order, leap back and the moment those B.O.W.s burst through, open fire!"

"Seems kind of risky," Carlos said, then felt a harder bang on the door. "But, it's better than biting the dust."

"Alright, ready...fall back now!" Chris ordered as he and his teammates rolled back and pulled their weapons out. Just as the two monsters burst through the door, the trio of Chris, Jill and Carlos immediately opened fire with their strongest available weapons.

Chris had unloaded his shotgun while Jill used a machine gun and Carlos used his assault rifle.

While the creatures were stunned, it wasn't enough to destroy them as they began to power through the barrage of bullets. Thinking quickly, Chris brought out an Incendiary Grenade and set fire to the creatures.

"Keep going!" Jill ordered as she laid into one of the monsters. Despite the flame, it flew in to attack, but Jill managed to leap over and land on the creature's back as it took to the air.

"Jill! Be careful!" Chris warned.

"I got this!" Jill pulled out a grenade and jammed it into the creature's mouth as she leapt off and landed on a nearby container just as the grenade exploded, destroying the monster in the process and leaving a mess of blood raining down.

"One down!" Carlos said.

"One to go!" Chris pulled out a cattle prod and the moment the monster got close, Chris whacked the creature in the face to stun it. He then put it away to pulled out a knife and grenade.

Using the knife, he sliced over the creature's chest and stuck the grenade inside. He then kicked it back and fired once from his shotgun to cause an immediate explosion, leaving a large gaping hole in the stomach of the Popokarimu.

"Geez, this thing's still alive!" Carlos said.

"Not for long," Chris pulled out a magnum and shot the creature point blank in the face, finally killing it.

"Great work," Jill said as she made her way over to the boys.

"Same with you," Chis said.

"Man, you took quite a risk a moment ago," Carlos pointed out.

"No risk, no reward," Jill said. "Besides, I knew I'd be fine."

"Just be careful, you're strong but you're not invincible," Chris said. "Anyway, we should regroup with the others."

"Hopefully they took down the other B.O.W.s as well," Jill said.

"They're capable, but I'm still worried," Chris said. "Besides, we need to find Spider-Man, Rebecca and Twilight."

"Then put a stop to Wesker," Jill said.

"If we're lucky," Chris said.

"Wesker's one slippery guy, it's been like that since the first time you two dealt with these monsters," Carlos said.

"At the time, we thought he died," Chris said. "Then Rock Fort Island happened."

"How does he pull it off?" Carlos asked. "He survived so many things. Is it luck? Or because he knows people?"

"Hard to say," Chris said. "He's definitely harder to catch knowing that Juri Han is close by."

"Which means we need to capture her too," Jill said. "That's why Chun-Li is here."

"It'd go faster with Guile and Cammy too," Carlos said.

"It would, but Wesker isn't the only one causing trouble right now," Chris said. "Shadaloo is their main priority, we're lucky Chun-Li was able to help."

"You can thank Crimson Viper for that," Jill said. "She's trying to take over the operation."

"Great, just what we need," Chris said. "That woman isn't exactly trustworthy herself."

"Well we do have common enemies, so our paths are expected to cross," Carlos said.

"She just needs to know when to stay out of a conflict and let us handle it," Chris said. Upon hearing some gunfire inside, he shook off his worries. "What are we doing!? We need to finish this mission up! Let's move!'

Jill and Carlos quickly followed Chris back inside the building to resume their duties.

Meanwhile Quake and Barrett were unloading on their foes while doing their best to run from the monsters.

"These things are a real, damn pain!" Barrett commented as he tried putting distance.

"Come on, you've destroyed stronger monsters, haven't you!?" Quake asked as she blasted. "Or did Cloud Strife do all the work?"

"Real funny coming from the lowest ranking Avenger," Barrett spat back as he continued to fire.

From the distance, Leon's team could hear some gunfire going on, which earned a lot of curiosity from them.

"Seems like there's some fighting nearby," Bruce commented.

Just then, Barrett and Daisy burst through the door, taking everyone by surprise.

"Barret? Daisy?" Leon asked. "Where did you come from!?"

"Watch out!" Daisy warned, gesturing to the two bats.

"What the hell!?" Leon shouted as he pulled his gun out and fired.

One bat got close to the group, but Chun-Li managed to kick it aside, and then fired Kikoken attack, destroying the creature instantly.

"Nice moves!" Clint said, then focused on the last Popokarimu. "I got this one!"

He fired an arrow between the monster's eyes, stunning it briefly.

Leon pulled out his Dart Gun and fired a few rounds at the monster's head, causing enough damage to tear away the skin and expose the head.

"Time to end it!" Leon pulled out his shotgun and fired once, destroying the creature and leaving nothing but blood spraying everywhere.

"Nice work, Leon," Natasha said as she checked the creature's body. "Hm...I don't think I've seen this B.O.W. before."

"It's a Popokarimu," Daisy said. "One of the B.O.W.s from Africa many years ago."

"Looks like Wesker's recycling," Bruce said. "But it doesn't matter, at least we won."

"For now," Wesker said over the loudspeaker.

"You keeping an eye on everything we do or something!?" Barrett asked.

"Of course, where there are cameras," Wesker moved it from his position. "There are eyes for me."

"You ain't getting away with this, Wesker!" Applejack warned.

"Oh wow, like he's never heard that before," Juri taunted. "Have any of you even come close to stopping me or Wesker?"

"You sure came close to death in Africa," Chun-Li taunted. "Don't think it can't happen again, only for good this time."

"If I were you, I'd focus less on me," Wesker began. "And more on saving Twilight Sparkle. She won't last too long against Vergil."

"Vergil!?" Leon asked. "You mean Dante's Twin Brother?"

"Better hurry," Juri said.

Leon grumbled in annoyance, "Twilight's in danger?"

"Wait, where is everyone else?" Remy asked.

"We just got separated from Chris, Jill and Carlos," Daisy explained. "Twilight got separated fighting Vergil. Peter and Rebecca got separated from us after one of Wesker's traps."

"I don't suppose either of you found anything useful, did you?" Barrett asked.

"Actually, we came in here because we heard there was some useful info," Leon said. "These documents have a listing of everyone Wesker has contacted as of late, and for what."

"Honestly though, it's not a lot of useful information," Clint said. "Most of it is Wesker trying to pry into All for One's plans. Seems like the old bastard barely even trusted Wesker."

"But we do know that Wesker has access to Incognito Labs, where Miles Warren used to work," Natasha said.

"Miles Warren?" Daisy asked. "The scientist who cloned Spider-Man?"

"Cloning mixed with Wesker sounds like a recipe for disaster," Leon said. "If we don't hurry, we're screwed."

"We gotta find Wesker, now," Remy said. "We know he's somewhere here, we'll trash the place if we need to."

"Yeah, let's go," Leon said as he rushed off with the others.

Meanwhile Twilight and Vergil had clashed in a hidden room, the Princess of Friendship trying to one up a Son of Sparda.

"What are you and Wesker even up to!?" Twilight asked as she sent a blast at Vergil.

"A revolution," Vergil said. "Cleansing this planet of its filth, and creating a utopian society for all to flourish."

"Wow, how original," Twilight taunted as she blasted Vergil back. "This plan sounds like something I heard Wesker did when he infected that city in Africa! It even sounds like something I'd hear from Ultron. Better yet, you sound like Zamasu!"

"I never claimed this idea original, but my plan will be a success, unlike the others," Vergil summoned some magic. "If you cannot understand that, then you do not belong in this new world!"

He sent several light swords at Twilight, the Friendship Princess teleporting away at the last second, prompting Vergil to look around.

"Hiding won't do you any good, even if you avoid me now, the plan will get you later," Vergil said. "Everyone you love will perish. Your husband, your children, your friends. It's inevitable."

Twilight then appeared behind Vergil and blasted him, sending the half-demon flying.

"I would appreciate it if you didn't speak of my family, or my friends!" Twilight said.

She went to attack again, but she was blocked off by a group of hunters, each of which tried to surround her.

"Come on, is this all you have Wesker?" Twilight immediately blasted one hunter. The other two leapt at her but she was able to blast them as well. "I don't even need a gun!"

More hunters showed up, each of them rushing at Twilight as they tried to attack. Twilight blocked with her magic and used her lasers to blast each creature that came after her.

A few got knocked near Vergil, and as they stood, he immediately sliced them in half, leaving a mess of blood where they stood.

"Repulsive creatures, Wesker can do better," Vergil said as he made his exit.

"Hey! Were are you going!?" Twilight asked as she blasted more hunters.

"I don't have time to play with you," Vergil said. "I have plans of my own to attend to, even independent of Wesker."

"Wait, are you loyal to him or not!?" Twilight asked.

"You do not need to know," Vergil said as he began to make his way out of sight. "Just know this, Twilight Sparkle. Your end will come. I will make absolutely sure of it."

The rest of the hunters tried to attack Twilight, but after one massive blast, they were left as mere blood marks on the walls. "We'll see about that, Vergil."

Elsewhere, Peter, Rebecca, Sunset and Dante were still traveling through the warehouse, hoping to find any sign of their friends.

"This is so much fun!" Sunset said. "It feels like the old days, doesn't it Rebecca?"

"Uh, sure," Rebecca said.

"Like back when we were slaying zombies with Billy, then he disappeared, and you went to that mansion, while I went home," Sunset said. "I feel bad for you though, going through that trouble in Umbrella's Mansion, right after the train incident."

"It wasn't easy, that's for sure," Rebecca said.

The girl recalled the past. After getting some sleep in a dirty bunker, she reunited with her S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Teammate, Richard Aiken.

The two had traveled through the gardener's shed and toward the mansion, though the path was not easy. There were still plenty of zombies, and even giant spiders. Those were what scared Rebecca the most.

Eventually they arrived in the mansion where they hoped to find some survivors.

"Hello? Is anyone there!?" Richard called.

No sign of life, from neither friend, nor zombie. Rebecca held her gun close.

"I don't like this feeling," Rebecca said.

"Hey, it'll be fine," Richard said as they traveled through the top floor of the mansion. "Come on."

As they walked through an old hallway, they heard a ruckus from nearby. They checked through a nearby door.

"Hello?" Rebecca called.

The two kept walking, passing by a dusty hallway until they reached an attic of sorts.

"Be careful," Richard said.

Upon opening the door, a woman was knocked through, much to Rebecca's worry, that woman being Daisy.

"Hey, are you alright!?" Rebecca asked.

"Behind you!" Daisy warned.

Suddenly a snake had bit Richard, causing the man to yell out in pain and pulled him inside the room, much to Rebecca's horror.

"No! Richard!" Rebecca went inside the room, spotting Richard being yanked around by the snake.

Acting quickly, Richard fired into the Snake's mouth to weaken its grip. Daisy assisted by blasting the Snake, causing the monster to retreat through a hole.

"I can't let it escape!" Daisy went through the hole the monster went.

"Hey wait!" Rebecca called, then saw an injured Richard on the ground, the man's upper body completely covered in blood. "Oh no...what do I do now?"

Rebecca pulled Richard out of the room, hoping to find some form of sanctuary for her friend. Fortunately it was around this point that Chris and Jill had arrived.

"S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team, we're here to rescue you," Chris said.

"Are you with Bravo?" Jill asked.

"I am but..." Rebecca gestured to her friend.

"Richard!?" Chris and Jill knelt by the man. "What happened!?"

"Chris...Jill...you gotta run..." Richard said as he tried holding in his blood. "Demons...everywhere."

"Don't speak!" Rebecca scolded, then focused on Chris and Jill. "He was bitten by a giant snake."

"Giant snake?" Jill asked.

"I know that sounds weird, but it's true," Rebecca said. "He needs a serum. I have a kit but I need some supplies."

"Don't worry, we'll figure it out," Chris said.

"Here, take these," Jill said as she presented some medicine. "Herbs. Green and Blue. This should help."

"For the moment," Rebecca said as she began treating Richard. Moments later she heard someone coming, and saw the same woman as before. "You..."

"Damn snake got away," Daisy said, then spotted the newcomers. "Who are you two?"

"Chris Redfield, S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team," Chris introduced.

"Jill Valentine, also from S.T.A.R.S.," Jill said.

"I'm Daisy Johnson, from S.H.I.E.L.D.," Daisy introduced.

"S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Chris asked. "As in The Avengers?"

"We work with them," Daisy confirmed.

"I don't suppose any of them are here?" Jill said. "We could definitely use Captain America right now."

"It's just me, sorry," Daisy said, then noticed the injured Richard. "My God, I didn't even see this man."

"He needs medical help," Rebecca said.

"No kidding," Daisy said. "I know where there's a room for supplies. I can take you there."

"Jill and I will join you," Chris turned to Rebecca. "You watch over Richard."

"Of course," Rebecca said.

"Come on," Daisy led Chris and Jill away, ready to save Richard's life.

Rebecca snapped back to the present, the girl still worried about what might have happened had Chris and Jill not been there. Even more if Daisy wasn't able to help.

"I'm glad we were at least able to save Richard," Rebecca said. "But that was way too close of a call."

"Life's full of close calls," Peter said. "Good on you for saving your friend at least."

As they walked, Dante heard something. "Get your weapons ready."

Within moments a horde of zombies rushed at the quartet, startling each of them.

"Oh shit!" Peter shouted as he readied his webs. "Get ready!"

Dante pulled out his sword and began slashing through the zombies, with Sunset blasting magic from her fingertips like if she was firing guns.

Peter used some impact webbing while Rebecca tried firing regular shots from her handgun.

Unfortunately Rebecca was slowly getting overwhelmed by the zombies, much to Peter's worry, "Oh crap!" Using his webbing, he pulled the girl to safety, and leapt up to the ceiling, keeping her away from the zombies.

"Sunset! Shield!" Dante called.

Sunset ran to where Peter and Rebecca were and placed up a shield while Dante readied his guns.

"Let's Rock!" Dante began firing from Ebony and Ivory, taking out every zombie that came close to him and his friends.

Once the coast was clear, Dante signaled for them to come down, to which Peter helped Rebecca back to the floor.

"Are you hurt?" Peter asked.

"I'm fine," Rebecca said.

"Are you bitten?" Dante asked.

Rebecca checked her body, neither seeing nor feeling any bite marks, "I'm fine."

Dante looked ahead, a scowl on his face, "That wasn't an accident, someone sent those monsters at us."

"Probably Wesker, come on," Peter said as the group ran ahead.

Unknown to them, Sephiroth was observing from a distance, a sinister smile on the man's face.

"Well, this should be fun," Sephiroth said as he floated off. "I should let Wesker and Vergil know about our new playmates."

Things were still getting intense, but the heroes were determined to end this problem before it grew. Even if Wesker still had one more trick planned for the heroes who pursued him.
