AN: I know I said I'll be more active than before but I'm afraid it's not that simple cause i also have lots to do in my real life activities so I can't make any promises. I hope you understand.

Anyways not much to say so I'll just cut the story, enjoy reading!. Again i do not own Fairy Tail or Persona 3 everything goes to the original owners, game and anime. The only thing i own are my own OC's nothing else.

Luckily it wasn't that long before Natsu was released from the hospital and he and Happy immediately head back to the dorm. But once they arrived they were welcome by Lisanna's older sister Mirajane, or as everyone would called her Mira.

"Oh, welcome back". Mirai greeted them. "I gotta say I'm so relieved now that you're out of the hospital".

"You must be Lisanna's big sister?". Natsu asked somewhat politely as he remembers hearing her voice during that night.

Mira smiled and nodded as she properly introduce herself. "That's right, my name's Mirajane Strauss, but you may just call me Mira". She spoke kindly. "Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet properly before".

"It's cool, I'd introduce myself but i bet you already know who i am obviously". Natsu shrugs before introducing his exceed friend. "But this is Happy".

"I'm Natsu's best friend in the whole world!". Happy shout out excitedly with confident throwing his paws in the air. "Very nice to meet you sir!".

"It's supposed to be ma'am". Natsu groaned softly.

But Mira just chuckle at the sight and shook hands-or paws with Happy. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you Happy, Lisanna wouldn't stop talking about you". She said almost adoringly but managed to kept to herself. "Don't push yourself though, do you want to get some rest?. Don't worry, your room's safe now".

"Good to hear. I was honestly glad nothing was messed up when those 'Things' attacked the dorm". Natsu said in relief not sure it he's used to calling them Shadows just yet.

"You remember Erza right?". Mirai asked and Natsu nodded. "Well she said she'll be late today, probably processing some paperworks for you".

Natsu looked somewhat suprise to hear that. "Geez she didn't have to go through all that just for me". He spoke a little uncomfortable about that because he felt bad but decided to just let it be. "But...Tell me I'd say thanks. For everything".

Happy honestly couldn't believe what he's hearing. Normally Natsu would just complain about people helping him but yet he's actually thanking for once.

'Whoa... Natsu's been completely different since what happened'. Happy thought to himself as he felt kind of glad about it. 'But i am glad though... Especially since he's showing gratitude for once'.

"Your welcome, try not to overdo it at school okay?". Mira reminds sounding like a mother telling her son what to do. "Just because you're better now doesn't mean you can't be too careful, and let someone knows if something is wrong".

'What are you my mom?'. Natsu though a little annoyed but just nodded before heading up the stairs and into his dorm room.

It's been a long day and right now he just wants to go bed and prepared for the next day.

Once again Natsu makes his way towards school when he's approach by Gray as usual.

"Yo, long time no see". Gray greeted him as he walked to him. "So what's up with you?, did you have an upset stomach or something?".

Natsu was a little hesitant to tell him the truth about what really happened to him that night, however he knew if he were him he find it hard to believe because it sounded unbelievable insane.

Plus he was still promise an explanation later so maybe it's best to keep it to himself for now, not like it's any of his business anyway.

"You could say that". Natsu said so casually without drawing any suspicious feeling. "It wasn't anything too serious, just the regular catch of a cold day, why?, did something happen while i was gone?".

"Well...I do got something to tell ya". Gray spoke a little nervously as he starch the back of his head. "Actually...-".

Suddenly he yelped to himself as if he remembered he wasn't supposed to say anything. "Oh wait!, I'm not supposed to spill". He repiled quickly as he's forced to kept his mouth shut. "Sorry man, forget you heard anything ok?, hehehehehe".

Natsu blink and narrows his eyebrows. "Eh?". He looks straight up confused.

Luckily before things could get anymore awkward Lisanna shows up in front of the boys. "Geez, someone's full of energy today". She sarcastically says it before walking up to them. "I could literally hear you all the way over there".

"Huh?. You two didn't come to school together even though you lived in the same dorm?". Gray asked curiously and confused wondering about that.

"Why are you suddenly asking about that?". Natsu asked surprisingly curious to why Gray would bring that up all of a sudden.

But Lisanna though Gray was only kidding around like last time and making a big deal of the wrong idea he and everyone else is getting. "Ugh, I've heard enough about that". She groaned tiredly before ignoring him and looks at Natsu. "Anyways, Natsu how are you feeling?".

"I'm doing ok actually". Natsu just shrugs as he answered. "Just needed more rest".

"I'm glad to hear". Lisanna smiled in relief before looking serious. "Um...Sorry to hit you with this so soon after you recovered. But the Chairman wants to speak with you today".

Natsu gasped. "Today?". He says surprisingly didn't expect to hear so soon, but then he was promised after he recovered.

"Uh huh, head to the dorm after school and come up to the fourth floor". She says explaining to details of their meeting spot. "Don't forget okay?".

"Huh?. Hold up, why are you being called out by the Chairman?". Gray asked suspiciously glaring at Natsu once again getting the wrong idea. "What the heck did you do?".

Natsu growled getting really annoyed of this. "Back off man it's not what you think". He warns him not mess with him.

"Yeah it's nothing serious". Lisanna defended him. "Come on, we're gonna be late if we just stand around here talking".

And that's their cue to leave as Gray was just left alone with Natsu and Lisanna heading off to class while he just stand there looking super confused.

"Why doesn't anyone ever tell me anything?". Gray asked grumbling annoyedly not realizing...He just stripped out of nowhere again only he's completely unaware of that.

Class starts with the teaching of a tall, gray-haired elderly man with a considerably long beard, as well as a mustache. He has pointy ears and has a habit of keeping only one of his dark-colored eyes open at a time. Wears multiple layers of robes and on top of his head he wears a small bat-shaped ornament.

(AN: Am i gonna have keep having the Magic Councils from Fairy Tail be the teacher of Persona 3?. Why yes because they're all i could think of and frankly...I don't really care too much about the teachers because they're just there for the teaching, plus i really don't like the Councils from Fairy Tail, i hated every single one of them because they're so rude and ungrateful to Fairy Tail. Yes they're troublemakers but they're not criminals you know!. Ugh i just can't stand them being so high and powerful they think they can do whatever they want. I know some of them are not that bad but I can't help it. Well screw them in my opinion!...Sorry enough ranting for me lol).

"That's enough about mammoth. I don't see the big deal, they're just huge elephants". Mr. Org says. "Well that wraps it up for the Stone Age".

He sighed but continue on. "I'm tried of these lessons about fossils, i rather talked about the Sengoku Era, Japanese's history not excited enough until then". He complained and whines about it but nothing he can do. "But it's what i paid to do so...Here we are. It's not easy being an adult".

'No kidding. Especially when you're that old'. Natsu though to himself as he thought about the difference in ages. 'Am i gonna be like that when I'm old?'.

"Next is...The Jomon Period?, when do the samurai get their days in the sun?. I'll just ask a question at random and call it a day". He spoke before pointing at Natsu. "Dragneel?".

'Seriously?. Me again?'. He thought unbelievable annoyed and disbelief before sighing.

"The place people dumped their waste in the Jomon Period, what are they called nowadays?". He asked.

Natsu was about to answer randomly again hoping he'll just get lucky and answered it correctly again. However he was shocked when he saw Happy secretly flying outside the school window.

And yet nobody seems to notice because they're too busy with class. Although he can't hear what he's saying he seems to be mouthing the answer to the question.

'Is he saying maiden?. Modem?. No-Middens?'. Don't ask how Natsu was able to read that mouth language words but he was able to figure it out.

So he decides to go with whatever his partner suggested even though he has no idea how.

"Uh...Middens?, is that how you say it?". He answered with a shrug.

"That's right, they're called 'Middens' . The word Scandinavian in origin and means 'During hill'". He looks impressed by Natsu's correction even though he has no idea he technically had helped. And it seems the students doesn't show any reaction. "Eh, that didn't work. Still not interested in this at all. Ugh i wanna get to the age of katanas. Everything else is so dull!".

As Org continues on with nobody seems to be showing any interest Natsu secretly thanked Happy by giving him a thumbs up which he smirked before flying away.

What the was that?. That was completely random. And how did Happy knew that was going to happen anyway?. Natsu has no idea, but of he could help answering quizzes like that he sure wouldn't mind having a bit of a cheat code to do the trick.

"Uh...Hey". Lisanna softly called out as she went to Natsu. "Wanna walk home together?".

This was the first time Natsu heard her asking if she wants to walk back to the dorm together. Not that he wouldn't mind but. "You sure you're okay with that?". He asked making sure she's really comfortable with that. "Aren't you worried people will start another rumor?".

"Kind of. But i honestly don't really care anymore. Plus we live in the same dorm and all, and I've been a little worried". She shows a much concerns. "What if you passed out again on the way home?".

Natsu can't help but chuckle a bit before scoff and smirked. "Aren't you exaggerating just a little bit?". He sarcastically points out as he just rolled his eyes glaring. "Plus i got Happy with me if anything goes wrong".

"I-I-I know that. Sorry...I just feel really responsible for that you know?". Lisanna protested a little showing her reason. "Let me make it up to you".

Knowing he can't exactly argue with her like this Natsu decides to just go with it. "Fine". Was he needed to say to reassure her.

Lisanna smiled glad to hear that. "Come on, let's go".

However as soon as they did student who noticed them together start talking and whispering as it was exactly how they knew it would happen and sooner or later another rumors about to spread.

Although they decided to ignored it. Besides it's not like any of it are true.

Lisanna sighed relieved. "Home safe". She says feeling glad to be back without a problem.

"Told ya". Natsu says so.

"Still don't get why you decided to walk home with Natsu all of a sudden". Happy said curiously wondering what that's about.

"She owes me". He says it for her sarcastically as he just went inside.

...

"I'm glad you're feeling okay now". Lisanna looked at Natsu as they went up the stairs to the second floor to his dorm. "Well i guess I'll head up first".

"Ok, guess I'll catch up soon". Natsu said as they went separate ways.

"Remember what i said this morning, fourth floor. The Chairman should be waiting for us". Lisanna reminded him again which he nodded and went inside his room to get ready.

Happy was actually a little curious about it as well so he decided to tag along and see what the meeting is about.

After a couple of half minutes of showering and getting ready, Natsu and Happy immediately went upstairs till they reach the fourth floor.

However as they were walking on the stairs Happy can't help but start shivering all of a sudden before clinging onto Natsu's shoulder.

'Guess he's still shaken up from that night'. Natsu though as he remembered how scared his buddy was which he can't help but felt a little bad.

"There you are". Lisanna smiled as they made it. "Come on, everyone's waiting for you inside".

'Everyone?'. Natsu though surprisingly. 'So it's not just that eye patch man?. Great...This is gonna be interesting".

"Ah, there you are". Chairman Precht welcomed as Natsu, Happy and Lisanna enters the meeting room. "Looks like you've recovered, I'm glad to see that".

"Thanks". Natsu just simply thanked for the help during his recovery.

"There are some things i need to discuss with you, that's why i asked you to see me so soon after your discharge from the hospital". He says getting straight to the point. "Please have a seat".

So he did what he was told and sat down in a chair next to Gajeel who he didn't even notice the way he's glaring at him during the time he step in the room.

"Oh, before that. I've believe you already met Mirajane Strauss, Lisanna's older sister correct?". Chairman Precht address to Mira who Natsu already met yesterday before turns to Gajeel and Lily. "Well this fine gentleman is Gajeel Redfox, and his exceed partner Panther Lily".

Happy was shocked as he could believe he actually met another exceed just like him. "No way!, you're like me!?". He gasped when he realized he's the same as him.

"Nice to meet you Happy". Lily greeted politely as the form he's in now is completely different than the larger and muscle bigger version he was before, right now he's in the same form and sizes as Happy. "I didn't expect to meet another fellow exceed such as myself".

Happy felt somewhat a little relief to hear as he shook paws with him. "Me too, are there anymore like us out there?". He asked curiously really never able to meet another exceed before for some reason.

"I'm afraid there isn't as i have encountered so far". Lily said unfortunately. "Although there is one...".

While the two exceed just continue chatting and starting to get to know one another, Natsu looks up to see Gajeel looking at him. "Hey there". He says through his grumpy expression trying to be polite.

"Um... Hi". Natsu replied a little awkwardly feeling a strange familiarity from him. "Sorry have we met before?. You look kind of familiar for some reason".

"I could say the same thing about you". He says sarcastically before glaring at him. "Maybe we just ran into each other without realizing before".

"Uh yeah maybe". Natsu just rolled his eyes wondering why is he giving him that odd look.

After that the Chairman went back to the subject at hand. "Okay, let me start by asking you this". Precht then asked Natsu a strange unexpected question. "Would you believe me if i said that a day consist of more than 24 hours?".

"I would say your nuts old man". Natsu said blunty finding that completely ridiculous.

"Natsu!". Happy warned him not to be rude yet again.

"Heh, that's a reasonable reaction". Erza smirked a bit having a feeling he would say something like that. "However, you've already experience this firsthand".

"Huh?". Natsu narrows his eyebrows looking confused.

"Do you remember the night you first arrived here?". Erza asked Natsu that as he just nodded. "You had to notice the signs".

"Signs?". Natsu absolutely has no idea what she's saying.

But hearing that Happy got a shaking reaction remembering what he experience the night he and Natsu first arrived.

"The streetlights going out?, things that stopped working on it's own?, the inexplicable appreance of coffins?". Erza points out the things that he should've noticed the night before when he first came here. "With so many things amiss, didn't feel like you'd stepped into a different time?".

Natsu honestly doesn't really remember that much about those things, maybe there was something like that happening but he just never noticed it. "I mean...I only ever noticed the night those things attack the dorm". He seems a little hesitant. "But i don't know if i remember any of that before".

"Natsu everything Erza describe is exactly what happened the night you and i first arrived at the dorm". Happy clears out what he failed to noticed. "You weren't really paying too much attention of what was happening around but i cleary remember it very well. It's was so terrifying I couldn't bring myself to tell you".

"Really?, but what about-". Natsu was about to asked about the strange boy from before but decided to keep that between them. "Sorry buddy, I should've been paying attention to you during that".

But Happy just smiled reassuringly it's alright. "Anyways what Erza is saying before, that's the Dark Hour". Mira then spoke as she steps in. "A time period hidden between one day and the next".

"Hidden?". Happy asked confusingly.

"Between?". Natsu is also confused.

"I don't get it". Then they both said in unison earnings a sweat drop from everyone.

"I understand how you feel, who would even believe such ridiculous fantastical claims?". Chairman Precht says understanding how confusing it is. "But the Dark Hour does indeed exist, and it occurs each night as the clock strikes twelve at midnight".

"Each night?". Natsu gasped as he knew what that also means. "That means...".

Precht nodded confirming it. "That's right, it'll happen tonight and every night to come". He says in serious cold tone that send shivers to Happy's spines.

"Normal people don't realize it, since they're all sleeping inside their coffins". Lily then talk explaining a bit. "But that's not what makes the Dark Hour so interesting".

Happy gulped and looked scared. "You mean?". He can take a wild guess what he's going to say.

"You saw them right?". Lily asked earning a scared nodded from Happy. "Those creatures, we call them Shadows".

"Yeah i know Lisanna already told me about that". Natsu said casually simply taking all this in just fine. "Shadows huh?".

"The only appear during the Dark Hour and attack anyone who roams freely outside their coffins". Gajeel explain before pumping his fist and gave a confident smirked. "And it's our job to defeat those suckers, pretty exciting huh?".

"Gajeel!". Erza growled and glared upsetting at Gajeel when she heard that. "Why are you always like this?. You and Lily just got hurt the other day!".

"Now now Erza, he does his work well, in any case". Precht stays calmy and reassuringly trying to prevent a fight from happening. "I'll get to the point now, we are the Specialized. Extracurricular. Execution. Squad--S.E.E.S for short".

"Sees?". Happy says confusingly.

"It's S.E.E.S". Lily corrected him.

"Right!. Sees!". Happy pronounce that happily earning a facepalm from Lily.

"On papers, we're classified as a school club". Precht continue explaining. "But in reality, this group is dedicated to defeating the Shadows. Erza Scarlet is the team's leader, and Mirajane is the Club Advisor".

"Pretty clever for a cover up". Natsu admits he's rather impressed by that clever idea. "I bet nobody would even suspect that".

"A Shadow feeds on the mind of it's prey, the victims became a living corpse". Erza explained.

"Like zombies?". Natsu took a wild guess which is correct sort of. "I do remember Happy and I talking about that on the newspapers".

"Told ya it's real". Happy says so.

"It's called Apathy Syndrome". Mira explain that part. "I'm sure you've heard of it, though we sometimes prefer to those who suffer from this as "The Lost". I know it doesn't sound any better as Apathy Syndrome".

"But they're responsible for most incidents on the news, if not all of them". Erza shared the horrible details.

"I knew it". Happy suspected that. "Sounds awful though. Those poor people".

"How do fight something like that?". Natsu asked even though it may seems impossible.

"Although rare, there are those who can function during the Dark Hour". Chairman Precht then brought up the ability Natsu pulled that night. "Some may even awaken to a power that enables them to fight Shadows".

"You mean...Persona?". Natsu guessed it which earned a shocking expression from everyone how he'd knew that. "It's hard to explain but let's just say i knew what it is".

"Incredible...The fact that you knew what a Persona is before anyone else". Lisanna said impressively.

Even the Chairman seems please of it before continuing. "That is correct the power you called upon the other night, Shadows can only be defeated by Persona-users". He says as he referring to everyone in the room. "And you aren't the first to have such abilities boy, everyone in this room minus myself and Panther have that ability, and the only ones who stand a chance against them".

"Seriously?. All of you too?". Natsu wasn't expecting to hear that.

Gajeel just smirked. "You ain't the only one who's special you know?". He says it confidently as if he's rivaling against him. "And your Persona's not the only one that's a dragon".

"Wait exceed don't have a persona?". Happy looked confused to hear and wonders why.

"It's a mystery we haven't unravel yet unfortunately". Panther Lily says honestly. "However that does not mean I'm useless as i can still fight with my partner side".

Then smoke appears as Lily transform to his biggest and stronger form and sizes that Happy completely overwhelmed by his appreance. After that he changed to his regular form and sizes. "Though there is a limit to how long i can keep this form".

"I wish i could do that". Happy says quietly sounding a little sad at how useless he feels.

"I'm glad you're quick to understand". Prech surprisingly looked amazed.

"What he's trying to say is that we want you to join us". Erza corrected the Chairman leaning forward and looking at Natsu. "We've prepared an Evoker for you, we'd like you to lend us your strength".

"Okay...". Natsu just simply gave his answer without any hesitation or thinking. "Sure".

Happy was honestly shocked and a little freaked out. "Seriously!?". He gasped. "Just like that!?".

Lisanna on the other hand looked rather relieved to hear him accept. "Whew...I was afraid you'd say no". She says honestly. "I'm glad you're on board".

"Thank you so much, truly". The Chairman thanked him feeling glad before remembering something. "Oh, i almost forgot. About your room assignment, why don't you just stay in the room you have now?".

"Sure". Natsu just shrugs not really caring too much about that. "I'm okay with the room i got anyway".

"I don't know what the hold is, but i guess it worked out in the end, hahahaha". Precht said amusingly trying to make it funny.

"Hold up?. But wasn't that". Lisanna looked confused but just shook her head. "Oh nevermind".

It seems Natsu has decided to join the S.E.E.S to fight the Shadows. Suddenly it's as if he can hear a strange voice ringing in his head.

To create a Persona of the 'Fool' Arcana...

'Whoa...That was weird'. Natsu though to himself as he felt like his inner strength is growing. 'What the heck was that all about?'.

Natsu looked around and noticed nobody else is reacting which means he's the only one who must've heard that. Suddenly he remembers what Igor says about the power of Social Links.

"The power of a Persona Is the power of one's soul, and the soul is fueled by the depth of one's bond". He says wisely. "As you form these bonds by becoming involved with others, your own Social Links will gradually develop". Igor.

'Could this be what Igor was talking about?'. Natsu asked himself that question in his mind as he honestly couldn't believe he actually remembered that. 'Damn i actually remembered something for once...'.

"Well, that's all for today. Mirajane will follow you up with you regarding our 'Club activities' later on. I apologize for gathering you all here on your precious day off, tomorrow is Sunday so take some time to relax". Chairman Precht says ending the meeting until..."Well then, shall 'Week-end' this meeting?".

Nobody answers, reply, or even reacted.

"You know... Because it's the 'Weekend'?". Precht was obviously trying to make a funny joke or a pun which was an obvious failed attempt. "'Shall we end', 'Shall week-end', got it?".

Erza just facepalm, Mira just smiled innocently, Lisanna just sighed, Gajeel just groaned, Lily just stayed silence, and Happy and Natsu just cringed all together.

"Ugh that totally just ruined his entire looks". Happy commented annoyedly which Natsu can agree on. "Not to mention it's creepy when he tries to act funny".

AN: Well that was a crappy way to end a chapter huh?. Lol not gonna lie but those puns/jokes are just terribly hilarious even if they sucks badly in my opinion lmao. Also, i forgot to mention I'm working on another new story soon. Can't tell what it is yet but I'll let you know when i can.

Next chapter: Natsu gets an unexpected visit from the strange boy from before and gets another unexpected new teammate as well.
