Chapter 7:
Kirie was about to attack Tommy, but he holds up the Holy Mirror and she stops. "I'm sorry," says Kirie.
"Your boyfriend didn't leave you," says Tommy, "he was killed!"
They then heard something. "The Malice," says Uncle.
"I will resume my duty as Rope Shrine Maiden and keep it at bay," says Kirie, "all of you, run!"

Tommy, Dil, and Uncle exit the house, and it disappears...
