Chapter 32
Mad Sharks

Frank came out of his room to look at the people who broke into his hideout and said in anger, "Who are you people?! How dare you break into this place just like this?!"

"They are the ones we told you about, boss!" Damnd told Frank.

"So they are the ones who dare stop us from getting out protection fee?" said Frank. "They sure have the guts to break into this place! What do you people want?"

Before Poli could say anything, Rosanna stepped forward and said, "I know gang members are usually on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to organized crime, but seriously, a rundown arcade center as your hideout? Everyone dressed in tattered clothes? How poor can you people be? I thought you're supposed to be widely feared? How does living in a place like this scream fear and power?"

"You better watch your tongue, whore!" Frank said to her in an intimidating tone. "Appearance does not make everything. Our power and influence here in Twoson is bigger than you think, so much that even the mayor and police don't dare do anything to us, because we can end their lives if we want to any moment!"

"Oh, you think you're so big? Then it will be all the more satisfying taking you down!" said Rosanna.

Poli stepped forward and said to the evil people, "I'm the police! Well, I mean… I'm new in town at the moment… But that doesn't mean I'm sitting back and ignoring what you're doing! I'm still going to take you all in!"

There were laughter among some of the gang members when they heard and saw her, as they mocked her childlike appearance and made comical comments regarding it, and this annoyed her.

"So exactly do you people want? You want money? Drugs? Weapons? We can give you some, as long as you are willing to overlook anything we do!" Frank said to them.

"We want you to stop harassing Polestar Preschool!" said Ness, stepping forward. "A friend of mine lives there, so I do not take it lightly to you trampling all over it for protection fee and whatnot!"

"We are doing business, kid. You have no right to tell us what to do! We tell every location in this place to give us protection fee. How else am I going to keep the gang up and running?" Frank said to him.

"I'm serious! You wouldn't like it if you cross my path, and I'm usually a happy person who is hard to offend!" said Ness in anger

"Scare me all you want, kid, but I've got a reputation to keep and won't go down just because you lot are intimidating me!" said Frank. "You will regret coming here!" He then gave orders for his subordinates to beat them all up, and hearing this made them all glad.

Ryu cracked his fist and said, "Looks like a fight is inevitable now."

"Oh, I don't mind at all," said Ken as he got into a fighting stance. "I was hoping this would happen actually!"

"Do… Do we really have to fight then…?" asked Bay nervously while holding up her gun. "Nikke are programmed to not kill humans!"

"But we can still hurt them, and there are lots of way you can hurt a human!" said Pepper, sounding ethusiastic.

BGM: Theme of Abigail (Street Fighter V)

Rosanna held up her gun as the villains closed in on them, but Poli touched her gun with her baton and said, "I know you're unlike other Nikke in that you can actually kill humans, and I won't allow that! Nobody dies here!"

"Tsk! Where's the fun in that?" grumbled Rosanna as she held up her hand and grabbed the fist of a thug who tried to punch her and then forcefully twisting it.

When she was attacked, Poli swung her baton fast and hard at her attacker. She then proceeded to move around at a fast speed, beating up people with her baton.

Ein and Zwei, whose weapons use electric-like energy, lowered the power output of their guns to only causing burns and stunning effect, and they knocked out anyone who approached them while dodging attacks themselves. Ein's Feathers also flew around, shooting down people with the same level of power output only strong enough to knock out people.

Milk punched and kicked her the living daylights out of her opponents. Having skills in close range combat and possessing the strength of a Nikke naturally, taking on several humans at once was no issue for her at all.

Pepper was using her shotgun as a bludgeon to beat the lights out of people violently. At one point, she even took out a syringe and stabbed someone in the butt with it. "I may be a doctor, but I have no hesitation injuring anyone badly!" she said in anger.

Ness created circle-shaped energy balls that he fired all over the place, blasting away people. He also used telekinesis to lift up anyone who got close to him and flung them away.

Little Mac, with his small stature and speed, made it hard for people to get hold of him, and he punched with a strength surprising for his size and easily sent people larger than him flying away with hooks and uppercuts.

Ryu and Ken fought side by side with intense punches and kicks and didn't give their opponents the chance to lay a hand on them. Amidst the fight, Ryu shot a blue energy ball out of his hand at one of his enemies while shouting, "Hadoken!" The man felt as if a powerful wrecking ball hit him and was blown across the room.

The sight of this surprised everyone, to the point he or she stopped what he was doing to process what just happened. "Did Ryu just shoot a blue fireball out of his hand?!" asked Pepper in surprise.

"Does he have psychic powers too?" wondered Zwei.

Abigail was in the middle of grabbing Bay by the head when he saw this. The Nikke was grunting desperately as she tried to pry his fingers off her face, and then he flung her in a random direction and approached Ryu, saying, "Nice trick! Let's see how you fare against me!"

"Bring it!" Ryu said to him as he got into a fighting stance. Abigail swung his massive arm at Ryu, but the latter swiftly dodged it and then thrust his fist against his waist so hard that Abigail actually felt pain despite their size difference.

"Not bad!" said Abigail as he lunged at Ryu to grab him, but the latter dodged him and then struck him from the side again. When Ryu tried to punch him again, Abigail caught his fist and smiled, thinking he got the upper hand, only for Ryu to twist his arm with the fist that was caught. Abigail cried in pain, and then Ryu gave him an uppercut to the chin that pushed him back several steps.

"Argh! You're making me angry!" said Abigail in anger before charging forward to shoulder bash him. Ken got in front of the approaching giant and diverted his direction with a kick. Abigail ended up running into some arcade machines and some of his own men, knocking them all down and eventually hitting a wall, crashing through it.

Abigail turned around and looked back inside the building in anger and saw Little Mac jumping at him, landing a boxing glove against his face and knocking him him back. Abigail attempted to grab him after that, but Little Mac ducked down to avoid his grasp and then jumped straight up, hitting him in the chin with an uppercut and continuing going up into the air. From the air, Little Mac swung down a fist, hitting the giant man in the head from above on the way down.

While Abigail was dazed by the blows to his head, Little Mac pulled back his fist and then shot forward, punching him in the groin hard.

SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!

The powerful blow sent Abigail shooting a great distance across the street until he came to a stop among a pile of tires, tearing it down.

BGM: New Age Retro Hippie (Earthbound)

The gang members were in shock at what they saw.

"They beat Abigail!"

"How is that possible?!"

"And he was so big and strong!"

Even the Nikke were amazed at the things Ryu, Ken, and Little Mac did. "Wow! Those three are strong!" said Bay in awe. She was sitting in a trash can, trying to remove it from her butt.

"Are they even human?!" said Pepper in disbelief.

"I've seen a number of very strong people, and I'm still impressed!" commented Ness.

"Argh! You idiot, Abigail!" said Damnd. He then looked at the gang members around himself. "What are you standing here for? Hurry up and get them! Avenge your pal!"

The gang members became angrier than before and charged at the good guys again, attacking them. As the fight went on, Ein and Zwei approached Damdt and pointed their guns at him. "How about you do some fighting yourself?" Ein said to him.

"Haha! What can little girls like you do?" Damnd mocked them.

"This!" replied Ein before pulling the trigger of her sniper rifle to fire a blast of electricity that zapped Damnd and knocked him back. He recovered from the blow and hurriedly scurried away behind a row of untouched arcade machines. Ein ran around to the other side and said, "Coward! Face us!" But he wasn't there.

She walked down the path and looked for him, not noticing him squeezed in between a gap in between two machines. When she went past him, he approached her with a trash can in his hand and then slammed it down onto her head.

"Hmph! Mhhhmhhh!" muffled Ein as she dropped her gun and tried to pull off the trash can her head was now stuck in.

"Hahaha! That looks good on you!" laughed Damnd, pointing at her. Unknown to him, her Feathers were pointing at him from the air in the back and fired rapidly, zapping him all over the body. He tried to shoo them away while running, and then he found himself running straight in Zwei's direction, and the student had her shotgun pointed at him.

She pulled the trigger, firing several pellets of electric balls that zapped him and blew him back onto the floor, knocking him out.

Zwei then went up to Ein and helped pull on the trash can. "Hold still," she said as she began to pull it off her friend's head.

Meanwhile, Frank decided that he saw enough and so took out a pair of knives as he approached the battlefield. "Looks like I have to do things myself!" he said.

Rosanna saw him approaching and so approached him herself. "Now the boss wants to play? Let's see what you've got!" she said while pointing her gun at him. Without a single hesitation and against Poli's words, she fired at Frank with the intention to kill.

Frank pulled off a surprising move of swinging his knives at a fast speed, skillfully deflecting every single bullet fired at him. Rosanna stopped firing and was in shock at the way he deflected the bullets. He then threw the knives at her, striking her in the shoulder. He was expecting her to be stabbed by them, but instead, the knives bounced off her harmlessly.

"Oh please! It's going to take more than knives to hurt me!" Rosanna said to him before firing again.

Frank got out new knives to deflect the bullets again with great accuracy. As he did so, he also approached Rosanna and then slashed her a couple of times.

The Nikke backed away, but other than parts of her clothes cut apart to expose more skin, she had no injuries on her at all, much to Frank's surprise. "How are you not bleeding?!" he said.

"Because I'm not human!" replied Rosanna has she readied to fire again, but Ness used his telekinesis to alter her aim. "Hey!"

"No more of your bullets! I'll deal with him," Ness told her. Turning to Frank, he used his psychic to remove and levitate his knives into the air and then had them fly at him, pinning him by his shoulder sleeves to the wall behind him. "PSI Rocking!" Ness than fired several colorful energy circles at Frank, blasting him out of the place.

Despite this, Frank got back up with a slightly charred body and said in anger, "Fine! You want to play things the hard way? Then don't blame me for pulling out the big one! You asked for it!" He took out his phone and pressed an app on it as the others went out of the building to see him.

"What is he doing?" asked Poli.

"He's probably going to summon Frankystein Mark II!" replied Ness. "That's the robot the Frank I fought sent against me once."

There were several seconds of silence after Frank pressed the app, and he said "There's a bit of distance between the garage and this place, so you have to wait a bit, okay?"

"Um, okay..." replied Ness awkwardly.

They heard the sound of metallic footsteps and also people crying from around the corner of a building.

"What is that?!"

"Is that a robot?!"

Then it appeared. A Lord-class Rapture known as Stout. The Nikke were in shock to see what it was.

"It's a Rapture?!" gasped Pepper.

"What is one doing here?!" said Bay in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Zwei was still trying to pull the trash can off Ein's head while looking at the Rapture in shock. As for Bay, she managed to remove the trash can from her butt.

"So this is the Rapture thing that has been plaguing your world?" asked Ryu.

Frank laughed. "Hahaha! Scared? Let's see this baby teach you all a lesson! Stout, kill them all!"

BGM: Audacious March (Mother 3)

Heeding Frank's command, Stout open fired from its caliber guns and also fired laser beams, aiming for the good guys, who scattered and jumped behind anything they could get behind of.

Getting behind some random piles of cardboard boxes, Poli took out her shotgun, the Wild Hound, while saying, "What is a Rapture doing here?! And taking orders from a human nonetheless! Must get rid of it before it causes too much damage!" She looked up from hiding spot and fired at the Rapture, grabbing its attention, so it fired at her. She hurriedly got out of the way as its firepower tore apart the cardboard boxes with ease.

Behind a car nearby, Zwei and Ein were crouched down as the former continued to pull the latter's trash can. "Come off already!" said Zwei in frustration, and the trash can soon came out with a pop, causing Zwei to fall on her back from the recoil.

"Finally!" said Ein in relief while rubbing her head and brushing her hair with an annoyed look. She was then spooked by the sound of bullets hitting the car they were hiding behind of. Looking up from behind the car, she said, "It really is a Rapture!"

"Let's take it out!" suggested Zwei as she adjusted her shotgun's power to a lethal level. Ein did the same, and then they fired at Stout together. Zwei's feathers were also adjusted accordingly and buzzed around the Rapture, firing at it nonstop.

"Hey you! Over here!" shouted Ness as he ran towards Stout to get its attention.

"Ness! Get out of the way! Humans can't win against Raptures!" Poli yelled at him.

Stout fired at Ness, who created a psychic shield to block the bullets. While still holding the shield, he used his other hand to freeze the bullets coming towards him and sent them back to Stout. The Rapture flinched from getting shot, and then Ness deactivate his shield before shooting colorful energy balls at it. "PSI Rocking!"

Stout took several steps back from getting blasted by the psychic projectiles. After Ness was done, Ryu ran towards the Rapture and pulled back his fist to punch it. He slammed it hard against the front part of the Rapture, causing the whole thing to skid back.

"Did he just punch the Rapture?!" said Bay in shock.

Stout aimed its guns at Ryu and was going to fire, only to be interrupted by Ken jumping at it from the side and kicking it in a higher part of the body, interrupting it. His leg was also on fire when he kicked it.

Ken and Ryu then stood side by side, and together, they cupped their hands together and then shot blue fireballs at it. "Hadoken!"

The twin fireballs struck Stout, blowing it backwards. Though damaged quite a degree, the Rapture was still functional. It took some step forwards and then fired laser beams at the two martial artists, who swiftly dodged them.

Little Mac then charged at Stout, running at a fast speed and swiftly moving side to side to avoid the beams fired at it. When close, he jumped forward and slammed his fist hard against the Rapture, so much that metal shards were sent flying. Needless to say, the Nikke were shocked to see this, including Frank and the Mad Sharks members.

Ryu, Ken, and Mac attacked Stout from all sides together, punching and kicking it mercilessly and breaking it up more and more. The Rapture tried to generate a shield to protect itself, but it only appeared for a split second before fading away, as it was no longer in the condition to make something like that.

"All right, you guys! Move out so I can give it the finishing blow!" Ness said to the three. They nodded and got out of the way, and then Ness shot a green energy ball at Stout. "PSI Flash!"

The energy ball seemingly entered Stout's body, and then a second later, the whole thing exploded.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

"NOOOOOOOOOO! MY PRECIOUS BABY!" cried Frank, pulling his hair.

"Incredible! Humans managed to defeat a Lord-class Rapture!" said ZweI in awe.

"Ness is understandable because he was psychic powers, but the other three? The fact they can even damage it with their fists is incredible enough, notwithstanding Ryu and Ken shooting fireballs from their hands!" said Pepper in disbelief. "Are they even normal humans?!"

Frank glared at the good guys and asked, "Who are you people?!"

"People who are unhappy with you messing with Polestar Preschool and all of Twoson!" replied Ness, making a post of putting hands on his hips.

"You're not going to get away with this!" Frank angrily said to him. "You think I'm the top dog around here? As much as I hate to say this, there are people above me who will not be happy to hear about what you did to me! Once they catch wind of what you did, they will be coming after you, and it will be all over for you!"

"So you're just a lackey?" asked Rosanna. "Yet you still talk like you're a big shot!"

"So what if I'm not the big shot? I'm still an important person to Bison! He will never overlook you if you take me down!" said Frank.

Hearing that name, Ryu and Ken were both shocked. "Did you say Bison? As in M. Bison?" asked Ryu.

"So you know him! Yes, the very same M. Bison you're thinking about!" Frank told him. "He is the real mastermind around here! The true evil that strikes fear into the hearts of everyone! You think you can mess with him and get away with it? You better start digging your graves now that you've messed with me! I can ask him to show you mercy if you apologize to me, and I recommend you do it now!"

"Nobody is saying sorry to you, dickhead!" said a loud, deep voice.

Everyone turned around and saw a person dressed like a police captain, surrounded by several policeman, as well as a woman in a Chinese outfit.

"Captain Strong?!" said Ness when he saw the police captain.

"Chun-Li?!" said Ken and Ryu and surprise when they saw the woman.

"Who are they?" asked Poli.

"Captain Strong is the police captain of Onett, but I thought Onett doesn't exist here…" said Ness.

"What is Chun-Li doing here?" wondered Ryu.

"If she doesn't recognize us, then she must be this world's version of her," said Ken.

Captain Strong approached Frank and said to him, "The mayor of Metro City has gave out a warrant for you arrest, and he has the permission from the mayor of Twoson to do it as well! You will be coming with us quietly, or else I will show you my Super Ultra Mambo-Tango-Foxtrot martial art moves!"

"You think you scare me? As if the police can do anything to me! You do know that I have the police under my control here in Twoson, right?" Frank said to him.

"Those idiot lowlifes will get what is coming to them for bending to corruption, but don't think for a second that you have power over me! I'm not like the other weak-willed idiots!" said Captain Strong.

"Yep, that's just like the Captain Strong I know. Overzealous and serious about his job…" said Ness.

"The sort of attitude is definitely fitting for a police captain!" commented Poli.

Chun-Li stepped forward and said, "Surrender now, Mad Sharks. You are all under arrest. Do not try to resist us!"

"As if you can convince us to give up without a fight with just a few words!" said Frank with confidence.

"Um boss… Most of our men are in no condition to fight…" one of his lackeys told him. "They were badly beaten up by those folks earlier…"

Frank looked back inside the building and saw his men sprawled out all over the place, and he said in anger, "Useless! All of you! Fine! I can handle things myself!"

Turning around, he threw a knife in Chun-Li's direction in an instant. However, with god-like reaction, Chun-Li kicked the knife's handle from below and sent the knife spinning into the air, and it fell back down onto the grass blade first.

"Whoa! She's got skills!" commented Bay.

"That's Chun-Li for you," said Ryu.

Frank took out more knives to throw at Chun-Li, who kicked them all away without hurting herself. Eventually, Frank ran out of knives, and Chun-Li used this opportunity to run to him and kicked him rapidly all over the body, with the final kick sending him backwards.

KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!

Frank flew back into the arcade and all the way to the back of the room, landing on his couch and even pushing it backwards until it hit the wall. The gang leader was knocked out with shoe prints all over his body.

Seeing that their leader was knocked out and that their own number was low, the remaining gang members hurriedly raised their arms and admitted defeat. "Good! That's how things should be! Be glad I didn't have to use my Super Ultra Mambo-Tango-Foxtrot martial arts on any of you!" said Captain Strong.
