Important Note: In this story, I will mostly follow the Dragon Ball Kai series. But, for some scenes, I'm going to use the original Ocean dub. Just to let you know.
This is an extra long Chapter. I hope you enjoy it.
Chapter 18: Come out and play, Vegeta. Take down the Ginyu Force.
Erza couldn't believe this was happening. In front of her stood Son Goku. And the only thing he was wearing was pants.
Erza swallowed nervously.
Goku gave her a seductive smirk. He put his hand against her face. The warmth she felt from his touch made her lean into it.
"Oh, G-goku. Your hand feels so warm."
The Saiyan gave her a warm smile. "This is just the beginning, my beautiful Scarlet rose."
Goku leaned his head towards her. Bringing his lips to hers. Erza did the same. But right before their lips could touch. A familiar voice spoke.
"Hey, Erza wake up."
Erza's opened her eyes. But instead of seeing Goku. She saw Grey in his boxers.
"We are going to react again. Don't want to miss it, do you?"
Erza gained a tick mark. "Grey, you idiot. You just ruined my dream." And when she saw his state of dress she got angry. "AND FOR THE LAST TIME! PUT SOME DAMM CLOTHES ON!"
A few moments later. All of the mages were sitting in the reaction room. Grey was now fully clothed. And Erza was sitting in her seat with a grumpy mood.
"You okay, Erza," said Mira with a sweatdrop.
"No," said the red-haired woman annoyed. "I had such a wonderful dream. And then this idiot had to go and ruin it."
"I said I was sorry," said Grey with a nervous look.
"What was the dream about," said Lisanna curious.
Erza blushed. "Uh, nothing too important. We better start the reaction again."
Lucy smirked. "Hey, Erza. Was your dream about Goku."
Erza face turned even redder. "N-no. It was about strawberries. Yes, strawberries and cakes. Nothing about Goku or the fact that he was topless and was about to kiss me."
The girls smirked. Except for Canna, she just gained an annoyed look.
Lucy chuckled. "Now I get why you are in such a grumpy mood."
Erza felt like digging herself into a hole. "Enough said about this subject. Let's start reacting again."
Malia chuckled. "Very well."
The screen started to show what happened last time. With of course our storyteller in the background.
"Last time. Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma claimed a Dragon Ball from Vegeta. Enraging the ruthless Saiyan in the process."
The mages chuckled at that.
"Yes, Gohan did a fine job in tricking Vegeta. I'm so proud of him," said Mira with a smile.
Canna nodded with a grin.
"However, danger closed in upon planet Namek from the skies above. Frieza's reinforcements."
Levi frowned worriedly. "I hope Goku will arrive on planet Namek soon. Gohan and Krillin really need his help against these Ginyu guys."
Gajeel nodded. "Yes, that's true. Let's hope they can hold on until he gets there."
"And with time running out. Krillin, Vegeta, and Gohan forged an uneasy alliance."
"I really hope those two know what they're doing. Forming an alliance with Vegeta of all people? He could easily betray them and stab them in the back," said Canna with a snort.
Gildarts frowned. "True. However, by the look on Vegeta's face. He was very scared of these Ginyu fellows. I doubt he would have asked for their help so that he could betray them."
Marakov nodded. "Yes, if these Ginyu's are really as fearsome as Vegeta said. He would need all the help he can get. I just hope he doesn't get his wish for immortality," said the Elder with a worried look.
Laxus nodded. "Yeah. You and me both, gramps."
"Elsewhere, Frieza stood by as his most elite team of warriors made their grand entrance."
Mira chuckled nervously when she saw the poses again from those Ginyu fellows. "They certainly are a goofy bunch."
Lucy sweatdropped. "That is putting it lightly."
"The story continues, now."
The screen showed Frieza and Ginyu Force who were still in their strange poses.
"Ah yes, well done Ginyu's. A pleasure to see you as always," said Frieza with a smile.
The Ginyu's returned to their normal postures. "Thank you, lord Frieza. We always aim to please. I assume you have a special mission in mind for us," said the one with purple skin.
"That must be the leader of the bunch. Ginyu was his name if I recall correctly," said Marakov with a thoughtful look.
Gildarts nodded. "Yes. Seems like it. And the others are called Recoome, Jeice, Burter, and Guldo."
Canna chuckled. "That Guldo guy looks like a frog."
Everyone chuckled at that.
Frieza frowned. "That traitor Vegeta has stolen and run off with the Dragon Balls that I've been working ever so hard to collect. Your mission is to find him, subdue him, and then bring him to me. Then we'll see if I can persuade him to tell me where he has hidden them."
The mages snorted at that.
The Ginyu's began to use their Scouters. "Ah, well if that's all it is it's as good as done. Our Scouters are already tracking his location. He's actually on the move not too far from here. And in a hurry from the looks of it," said Ginyu with a smile.
"That was fast," said Levi amazed. "Those Scouters must be pretty advanced if they can locate them so quickly."
Mira frowned. "This doesn't look good at all for Gohan and Krillin."
Ginyu suddenly noticed something wrong. He told Frieza that there were two other people with him. And both had substantial power levels.
Frieza smirked. "Really? Ah, it must be those same little pests who interfered with us before. So they have been working together all this time."
"As if," said Canna annoyed. "They had no choice but to team up with that bastard."
"Enough, Canna," said Gildarts with a sigh. "I know you don't like the fact that they are teaming up with Vegeta. Let it be for now."
Canna frowned but nodded. "Fine."
"What do we do with them," asked Ginyu.
Frieza snorted. "I don't care. Have fun."
The mages glared at that.
"These bastards," thought Natsu with gritted teeth.
Ginyu smirked. "As you wish. They should make good sport for my men."
The one called Jeice walked towards Frieza and presented him with a green case.
"Lord Frieza. We brought those new top-of-the-line Scouters you asked for."
Frieza smiled with a nod. "Good. Excellent work."
"It's showtime men," said Ginyu.
The next scene made mages sweatdrop. All of the members of Ginyu Force began to huddle together. And did some… interesting footwork. They lined up behind each other. And screamed at the top of their lungs.
"GINYU FORCE!"
They all blasted with incredible speed towards Vegeta's location.
"What a bunch of weirdos," said Grey with a sigh.
Juvia chuckled. "Well, at least they are fun to watch."
Laxus snorted. "They look more like ballet dancers than warriors."
The screen changed towards Goku's ship. "A female voice could be heard throughout the interior.
"Now beginning final approach to planet Namek. Touchdown in twenty minutes."
The mages smiled at that.
"It seems Goku might get there in time," after all, said Lucy with a smile.
"Maybe so. But still. A lot can happen in twenty minutes," said Bickslow with a frown.
Fried nodded at that.
The screen showed Goku who stood up from his futon. Erza blushed when she Goku's upper body again. Images from the dream she had earlier were coming back to her. She shook her head from those thoughts. Now wasn't the time.
Goku opened the closet and gained a surprised look. "It was nice of King Kai to send me some new clothes. But he didn't need to send this many."
Wendy chuckled. "Those are enough clothes to last him a whole month."
Lisanna chuckled also.
As Goku finished dressing up. He couldn't but smile. "Man, I feel strong enough to take on ten Vegeta's." Goku's smile turned into a frown. "I hope I'm not too late. I just can't be."
"Don't worry, pal. You're not. Well, at least for now," said Gajeel with a frown. "He at least won't be as late when he traveled to Earth on Snakeway."
Canna nodded at that.
Goku looked outside. "Strange but, I don't feel the least bit scared. Maybe it's the calm before the storm. I just gotta keep myself focused." Goku's eyes gained a determined look. "Gotta be alert. Because there's no more time for training. It's time to get out there and help my friends."
The mages smiled at that.
Natsu grinned. "Couldn't have said it better myself. Kick those Ginyu's asses, Goku."
"Aye," said Happy with a cheer.
The next scene showed how Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan made it to their location. But unfortunately. Before they could even come close to their objective. The Ginyu Force suddenly appeared in front of them.
"Dammit," said Gajeel while clenching his fists. "They were so close."
Laxus frowned. "Yeah, they were. I wonder what is going to happen now?"
Ginyu smirked. "I don't suppose that would be a Dragon Ball you're holding there?"
Recoome looked behind him. "Mmm, and looky here. Five more just like them."
Ginyu chuckled. "Seems like we made quite the score. Frieza should be pleased. The idea is to collect seven of these things, right? So we got five you got two. I'm no mathematician but I'd say that adds up nicely."
All the Ginyu's began to laugh.
The mages frowned.
"Those guys," said Marakov with a nervous look. "I don't know why. But, I have a bad feeling about them. Their speed was incredible."
Gildarts nodded. "Yeah, and no doubt their power is great too."
The mages saw how Ginyu tried to convince Vegeta to hand the Ball over. But Vegeta had other plans. He instead threw it with incredible speed in the other direction. But, it was all for nothing. The blue alien called Burter easily caught it with incredible speed. And landed back in his original place before Vegeta and our heroes could react.
The mages were shocked.
"What the," said Fried astonished. "How did he do that? I didn't even see him move. What amazing speed."
Natsu nodded with a frown. "These Ginyu guys are a lot tougher than I thought. I saw glimpses of it. But not everything."
Gohan was shocked. "How could anyone be that fast?"
Ginyu smiled. "I suppose you thought you were being clever. I guess you forgot. When it comes to raw speed, Burter is the fastest in the Universe."
Gildarts frowned at that. "Fastest in the Universe? Yeah, right. I think they forgot about the fact that Frieza must be stronger and faster than all of them. Otherwise, they wouldn't listen to him in the first place."
Marakov nodded nervously. "True. But you got to admit. That Burter fellow is by no means slow."
Vegeta told Krillin to destroy the other Ball. But before he could do that, it vanished. The mage's eyes widened in shock.
"What the hell? Where did it go," said Elfman confused.
The screen showed Guldo. Who now had the fourth Dragon Ball in his possession.
"How," said Canna amazed. "How did that midget do that?"
Vegeta got annoyed. "So it seems the rumors are true after all."
"What are you talking about? What rumors," said Krillin confused.
The mages also wanted to know how that small alien did that.
"That fat little blob," said the Prince with a scowl. "Somehow he has the power to slow down or stop time at will."
The mages were shocked. "He can slow down or stop time," said Lucy amazed.
Erza frowned. "That certainly is a terrifying ability to have. I didn't even know that was possible."
Natsu thought for a bit. "Didn't Ultear use some kind of magic that could stop or speed up time?"
Grey nodded. "Yes, but her magic could only influence materials and non-living objects. Although, it does have some effect on humans. It was thanks to her magic that we were able to evolve our magic's container and let us awaken our second origin."
"True," said Wendy with a smile. "But the ability to completely stop time? That is unheard of. At least in my perspective."
"But that's impossible," said Krillin scared.
Guldo chuckled. "Don't be so sure there buddy."
Canna shivered. "Ew, that Guldo guy looks disgusting."
"Now we got that business out of the way. I say it's time for some fun," said Ginyu with a smirk. "Let's show our friends here a good time."
"And when he says a good time. He doesn't mean we're gonna play dress-up and braid each other's hair. He means we're gonna murder you," said Jeice with a grin.
"Did you really need to explain that," said Ginyu a bit annoyed.
The mages sweatdropped. They didn't know how to react anymore to these Ginyu guys. One second they looked scary and fearsome. But then they changed their tune and turned goofy.
"I think I'm going to have a headache when this reaction is done," said Fried with a sigh.
Evergreen nodded at that.
Ginyu told his men that he would take Vegeta. But his men began to complain that it was not fair. He always took the big kills. And eventually, their leader agreed.
"Fine," said Ginyu with a sigh. "Fair is fair. In that case, I'll take the Dragon Balls back to lord Frieza and explain the situation. You boys can sort the rest out on your own."
His men began to cheer.
The mages glared at the group.
"They all act like this is just one big game to them," said Lucy angrily.
"Yeah, it's sickening," said Levi with a heated look.
The next scene showed how the Ginyu Force began to play rock paper scissors to decide who was going to fight who.
"Are those guys serious right now," said Grey with a sweatdrop.
Erza sighed. "What a bunch of strange people."
Eventually, it was Recoome who won. "Alright, I win. I get Vegeta."
Guldo was annoyed. "And I get the runts."
Ginyu lifted the Dragon Balls into the air with his telekinetic powers and left the area towards Frieza. Gohan wanted to attack him but Vegeta told him to stop.
"Calm down. We can't afford to waste your energy. Let him go for now and focus on beating these goons. We have to get past them before anything else."
"Yes, good call," said Gajeel with a frown. "Although I don't like to admit it."
Vegeta told Krillin to come over. "Don't let Guldo's ridiculous looks fool you. He lacks power but his psychic abilities will make him dangerous. Keep your guard up."
Krillin nodded seriously. "Right."
"I never thought I'd see the day that Vegeta of all people would give advice to Krillin," said Lisanna surprised.
"Well, they are a team now. So it's only logical he would give some information about his opponent," said Mira with a frown. "But yeah, I also am a bit surprised by his actions."
"Now, is it true that you came to this planet on your own? Kakarot didn't come with you?"
Krillin shook his head. "No, just us. But he is on his way. He'll be here soon."
"Soon isn't good enough. We need him here now. As much as I can't stand him. Having him with us would help even the odds."
"True enough. With Goku there they certainly would have a better chance of beating them," said Elfman.
Evergreen nodded. "Yes, and Nail will come soon too. With both Goku and Nail fighting at their side. They will certainly have a better chance of winning this battle."
Bickslow frowned. "They will just have to hold on until they get there."
Guldo was the first who enter the fray. So it was both Gohan and Krillin teaming up against him. And the fight… Well, it couldn't be called a fight at first. Since Gohan and Krillin were too fast for the little alien. Guldo had to use his ability to stop time. But the mages smirked when they found that Guldo had to hold his breath for it to work. And he couldn't hold it for long. It soon became a cat-and-mouse game between them. Each time Krillin and Gohan used their speed to attack Guldo. The alien used his ability to stop time. But eventually, it was Guldo who gained the advantage by using his telekinetic powers to trap our heroes into place.
"NO," yelled Mira scared. "Please be okay you two."
Guldo then used his psychic abilities to make a weapon out of a tree. The sharp object approached the two. But right before it could hit them. Vegeta intervened and cut off Guldo's head. Krillin and Gohan were able to move again and dodged the sharp object just in the nick of time. Vegeta then blasted Guldo's head and body from existence. The mages sighed in relief.
"I never thought I would say this. But thank you, Vegeta," said Mira with a relieved smile.
Canna frowned. "One good deed doesn't mean anything in my book."
Both Krillin and Gohan thanked Vegeta for his help. But the Prince snorted.
"Keep your thanks. Do you think I care whether the two of you live or die? I saw an opportunity to strike and I took it. It's that simple. Saving you had nothing to do with it."
The mages sighed. Well, they all would have guessed that Vegeta would say something like that. Still, Gohan and Krillin were safe. Even if Vegeta said that was not his intention. They were glad he did it.
"Now pull yourselves together. This isn't over. We won't get lucky a second time."
"He's right about that," said Laxus seriously. "I have a feeling the real battle is about to come."
Gildarts frowned. "Yeah, you got that right."
The Ginyu's were annoyed that Guldo got himself killed.
"What the hell? Are you seeing this? Guldo got himself killed," said Jeice shocked.
"This is bad," said Burter annoyed.
"Yeah. Without Guldo, that means our trademark Ginyu Force fighting poses will be all out of wack."
"They are worried about their poses instead of their comrade," said Lucy annoyed. "Some friends they are."
Erza frowned sadly. "I doubt there was any sort of comradery between them Lucy. Just like all of the other Frieza soldiers."
"No doubt," said Grey with a snort.
Recoome was the next one who enter the battlefield. He had a stupid smile on his face.
"My turn Vegeta. What do you say? Let's do this thing. Your little friends can play too. Come at me all at once if you want. I don't care."
"I have a feeling this Recoome fellow isn't quite right in the head," said Charla with a sweatdrop.
"You're not the only one," said Grey with a chuckle.
Recoome began to pose in a silly manner. "Now, you will feel the power of Recoome."
The mages sweatdropped. Yep. This guy was an idiot.
Vegeta suddenly began to power up. His aura grew so fierce that it produced heavy winds and made rocks flying everywhere. Krillin and Gohan had to cover their eyes to protect themselves from Vegeta's power. The mages's eyes widened as Vegeta blasted at Recoome with incredible speed. He landed a devastating right punch across his face that sent him flying across the ground. The Saiyan then followed through by passing the brute. And gave a devastating blow to his head with his two fists. And he wasn't finished yet. He then flew into the air to gain speed. And he went back down to give a fierce blow to his stomach with his two knees.
"Holy shit," said Grey. "This guy sure doesn't hold back. The other guy doesn't even have time to react."
"Of course not. He let his guard down by doing those silly poses. I say it's his own fault," said Gajeel with a snort.
Vegeta then grabbed Recoome's leg and swung him around for a bit before he threw him towards a huge mountain. And to end things for good. He let out a powerful blast that destroyed the area.
"THIS ENDS NOW," yelled Vegeta.
He fired even more multiple shots through the blast that completely detonated the area.
"Oh boy," said Mira with a sweatdrop. "That certainly packed a wallop."
"Yeah, I doubt Recoome will come out of that attack alive," said Lisanna with a nervous chuckle.
However, both Gildarts and Marakov weren't so sure.
"He, he did it," said Krillin amazed. "Wow, that wasn't even a contest. It's scary how strong Vegeta has gotten. He totally blew that guy away."
But Gohan gained a scared look. "No, wait. There. Do you feel that? That power. It's him. He's alive."
Most of the mages were shocked. And when the dust settled. The figure of Recoome could be seen. And he had not even a scratch on him.
"No way," said Lucy while swallowing nervously. "Not even a scratch. This guy is unreal."
Marakov sighed. "I had a feeling he would still be alive. But no damage whatsoever… Vegeta was telling the truth that these guys were stronger than him."
Gildarts nodded. "Yeah, no kidding."
Recoome began to chuckle. "Hi."
"He's laughing," said Gohan scared. "You mean he took all that? And it didn't even faze him."
"Alright, good warm-up. Now let's go," said Recoome with a grin.
The mages frowned worriedly. This didn't look good at all.
Natsu gritted his teeth. "Where the hell is Nail? Shouldn't he have arrived by now?"
"I don't know, Natsu," said Mira sadly. "Let's just hope he gets there soon. And Goku too."
As the fight continued. All the mage's eyes widened by the one-sided battle. Vegeta couldn't lay a finger on Recoome. Each strategy the Prince did. Or any attack he landed. Recoome just shrugged it off. Vegeta tried even a sneak attack from the water. But Recoome laughed stupidly.
"Good. That was a really nice try." He grabbed Vegeta like a sac of potatoes with his two hands. "But, you lose."
He began to drag him downwards with his incredible speed. Vegeta crashed into the ground. And when the dust settled. The mages saw that a huge crater was formed. And the only thing visible were Vegeta's legs and feet.
"Oh, no," said Wendy worried. "Poor Vegeta."
"He certainly will feel that in the morning," said Bickslow with a stoic look.
Canna frowned. She didn't like Vegeta. That she knew for sure. But then again, she didn't want him to go through this torture either. Canna shook her head. "Dammit," thought the girl annoyed. "Why the hell do I care about what happens to him?"
Recoome began to laugh stupidly. He grabbed Vegeta's leg and pulled him from the ground. "Hey, there. Vegeta? Are you still with me? You haven't gone and kicked the bucket on me have ya?"
The mages were conflicted. They didn't want him to go through so much pain. But on the other hand. He caused so much grief for Goku and his friends. Not to mention those poor Namekians he killed.
Natsu frowned. "Man, I don't know if I should cheer him on or not. I want to. But then I remember all the bad things he did." Natsu sighed. "This is hard."
The mages nodded in agreement. Vegeta suddenly launched another sneak attack. He fired a blast right at Recoome's face. But even that didn't work on large man. He easily recovered and jumped back to his feet.
"If you got any more moves to try out now's the time. Otherwise, I'm gonna go ahead and kill you, okay?"
Vegeta breathed harshly. "Dammit, is there no stopping him? I know he was strong. But this, this is ridiculous. He's just been toying with me. Shrugging off my attacks like they are nothing. If I don't think of something and quickly. I'm as good as dead."
Gildarts frowned sadly at the Prince's thoughts. "Yeah. It's clear to me that Vegeta stands no chance against Recoome. I'm afraid in the state he is in." Gildarts sighed sadly. "He will sadly die."
The mages frowned.
Bickslow sighed. "Maybe now he will know the feeling of how all those innocent people he killed."
"I have my doubts about that," said Evergreen with a frown.
The next scene surprised the mages though. When Recoome fired an incredibly powerful mouthblast to the Prince. Both Gohan and Krillin jumped into action. Krillin gave a devastating kick to Recoome's head, that made Recoome close his mouth while firing. Gohan, in the nick of time, was able to save the Prince from the dangerous blast. But it still managed to destroy a whole island.
"Those idiots," said Grey with an annoyed look. "Are they completely insane? Risking their lives for Vegeta of all people."
Erza frowned. "Grey. If Recoome killed Vegeta. His next target would probably be Krillin and Gohan anyway. And don't forget. Vegeta has saved Gohan and Krillin earlier. Even though that was not his objective."
Mira nodded at that. "I just hope those two will survive this, said Mira worriedly."
Recoome stood up from being blasted by his own attack. He was still okay. But the mages couldn't help but laugh at the fact that most of his teeth were missing.
"Hey, Jeice, Burter. Do me a favor and let me take the little ones too. Okay? Please. C'mon, you don't mind do ya?"
"Alright," said Burter with a sigh. "Go ahead take them all. They're yours. But later you're treating me and Jeice to hot chocolate Sundays, you got it?"
"Those animals," said Mira with a glare. "I'll give them a hot chocolate Sunday alright. Right up where the sun doesn't shine."
The mages couldn't help but chuckle at that.
But that chuckle soon changed to looks of horror when Recoome gave a devastating kick to Krillin's body that made him fly a couple of meters away.
"KRILLIN," both the mages and Gohan yelled worriedly.
"C'mon, please be okay," said half Saiyan boy.
"Oh, wow. You know, I think he just broke every bone in my body with that one kick," said the monk weakly.
Lisanna couldn't help but cry at Krillin's words. "No, Krillin. Don't die."
Krillin gasped in pain. "H-he is j-just too strong. It's not fair. Even after the Grand Elder raised my power. I'm still completely worthless."
"Don't say that, Krillin," said Lucy sadly. "You're not worthless. Without your help. Both Gohan and even Bulma wouldn't have survived until now."
The mages nodded at that.
"Please don't say that, Krillin," said Gohan sadly. "You have to hold on. You have to."
"N-no, it's okay. It's over. They're too strong and too fast. And they have all of the Dragon Balls. There's nothing we can do."
Grey clenched his fists. "C'mon, buddy. Don't give up. Goku is almost there. Just hold on."
Lisanna nodded sadly. "Yeah, Krillin. He's right. Please, don't give up."
Recoome began to curse at himself. "Aw, I goofed, didn't I? Guess I should have eased back on the power some. I was hoping I could get to toy with him a little longer. You know, really have some fun."
"YOU SICK BASTARD," yelled Lisanna angrily. "HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO KRILLIN. HE'S LUCKY THIS IS JUST A MEMORY. OTHERWISE, I WOULD HAVE KILLED HIM MYSELF!"
Mira tried to calm her sister down a bit.
Gohan got angry. "You big jerk. This isn't over. I'm not giving up yet."
Recoome began to laugh stupidly. "Well, you will."
Gohan fired a powerful blast at Recoome. But just by blowing. He was able to redirect the attack back to Gohan. The boy jumped out of the way. But Recoome suddenly appeared above him with incredible speed and delivered a powerful blow to his face that sent the little boy crashing to the ground.
"GOHAN," yelled the girls worriedly.
The boy stood up weakly after a few seconds. "Like I said I'm not giving up."
The next few scenes that the screen showed were about Ginyu delivering the Dragon Balls to Frieza. But when the Emperor tried to make his wish. It didn't work. The mages were surprised.
"Wait? Isn't a Dragon supposed to come out of those balls? What gives? Are they broken," said Elfman confused.
Levi thought for a bit. "Mmm, I don't think so. Maybe, those Dragon Balls work differently from those on Earth. Maybe you have to place them in a different location? Or maybe say something specific for them to be able to work."
Everyone smiled in relief. Great. This was great news. At least now the others had still a chance to make their wish. But Frieza figured it out also. And said he needed a Namekian here this instant.
Ginyu frowned. "That might be a slight problem. Are there even any Namekians left?"
Frieza began to use his Scouter. The Emperor told Ginyu that maybe Vegeta and his friends might know some answers. Right when the leader of the Ginyu Force wanted to contact his man to bring them here. Frieza began to smirk.
"Wait, redirect your Scouter to coordinate 8829401. If I'm not mistaken I'm reading what would appear to be two Namekians. And as a bonus, there is also a third reading moving toward their location."
The mage's eyes widened in shock.
"Oh, no. That must be the Grand Elder's place. This is bad," said Mira worriedly.
Gildarts frowned. "Wait, a third one is flying to their location? Who could that be?"
Marakov frowned sadly. "I have a feeling it might be Nail. He must have felt worried about the Grand Elder's safety. And returned back to him."
"But, without Nail," said Lucy sadly. "Will Gohan and Krillin be able to survive?"
Erza frowned sadly. "I don't think so."
Natsu gritted his teeth. "C'mon Goku. You are their last hope."
Frieza told Ginyu that he would go see those Namekians for information. He ordered Ginyu to stay and protect the Dragon Balls.
Ginyu nodded. "Right. You can count on me. I will guard them with my life. Good luck Lord Frieza."
As Frieza blasted away toward the Grand Elder's place. The screen changed back to the fight between Gohan and Recoome. The brute was firing a barrage of energy blasts at the young warrior. Gohan was able to avoid them but with difficulty. As the firing stopped. Recoome suddenly appeared behind him. And gave a punch to the head, and followed it up with a knee strike to his gut. He struck the boy with his two fists sending the boy crashing to the ground.
"Gohan," said Mira sadly. "Please. Stay down. Don't get up anymore. My heart can't take more of this."
The takeover mage let out a few tears. Mira and Lucy tried to comfort the young woman.
"It's going to be okay, Sis. Don't worry," said Lisanna with a small smile.
As Gohan tried to get up. He began to hold his right arm in pain. He fell back down.
"Just, stay down, Gohan. Please," said Krillin weakly.
But the boy stood up again with great determination.
"I gotta be strong. Like Dad. K-keep, fighting. I won't. I won't give up," said Gohan weakly as his eyes began to get blurry.
The mages were amazed at the little boy's determination and will to fight.
Natsu smiled. "This kid. Is something else."
Gildarts nodded with a soft smile.
"Wow, look at you. Still coming. You're a tough one. Guess they grow them stubborn on your planet, huh?" Recoome laughed stupidly. "And I should know. I'm stubborn too."
The next scene made the mage's blood turn cold. Gohan rushed towards Recoome trying to hit the man. But the man easily avoided him by jumping above him. He then landed a fearsome blow to the boy's neck. The mage's eyes widened in fear as Gohan's body dropped to the ground lifeless.
"N-no," said Mira with a whisper. "Please, Gohan get up."
But the boy didn't get back up again.
Marakov looked at the ground in sadness. "So young. Why? Why would these Ginyu Force do such horrible things? Does the meaning of life mean absolutely nothing to them?"
Jeice chuckled. "So much for that one. His power level crashed down to zero."
"What do you expect," said Burter with a smirk. "I heard his neck snap from here."
"Those bastards," said Lucy angrily as she let out a lot of tears.
Natsu held Lucy to try to comfort her.
Canna glared at the screen. "Those scumbags. How dare they," said the girl while gritting her teeth.
Recoome snorted. "What a joke. You guys were all just a bunch of pushovers. Seriously I didn't even get a chance to break a sweat. I don't know why Frieza would even bother calling in the Ginyu Force to deal with you losers. Guess I'll just finish you all off and be done with it."
But right when Recoome wanted to finish the job. Everyone heard a noise in the sky. The Ginyu members looked up and saw an aircraft flying through the skies.
"I wonder who that could be," said Burter curious.
"I don't know. We're not suspecting anybody," said Jeice confused.
"Maybe some Nameks returning from vacation," said Burter as the aircraft landed a few miles away.
Jeice smirked. "Poor dobes. They have no idea what they're getting themselves into."
The mages smiled happily when the screen showed that it was Goku's ship that had landed.
"It's Goku," said Mira happily. "He made it. Maybe there is still a chance for Gohan to survive this."
"Let's hope so," said Lucy as she wiped away some tears with a small smile.
"It's time," said Goku as he stood up from his seat. He grabbed the Senzu beans and tied them to his belt. "I bet I know a couple of guys who can use these." Goku took a deep breath. "Alright, here goes. Please let my training be enough. From this point on there's no looking back."
The screen changed for a few seconds to King Kai's planet. "He has made it," said the deity with a smile. "Goku's there. The others are still holding on by a thread." King Kai's tone changed a bit somberly. "I'm afraid Goku is outnumbered though."
"He has a point," said Elfman worried. "I know Goku's training has made him incredibly strong. But does he have a chance against all three at them?"
Gildarts chuckled. "Oh, don't worry about that. I have a feeling those Ginyu fellows will have a tougher time fighting Goku than they did with Vegeta."
Marakov nodded with a smile. "Yes, me too."
The screen changed back to the battlefield. Where the Ginyu's were still watching in the direction that Goku's ship had landed. Krillin, who was still lying on the floor couldn't help but look into the direction his enemies were looking at. The screen showed Goku's ship again. The mages could hear the same voice they heard earlier.
"All passengers prepare to disembark. Thank you for flying with Capsule Corporation. Please deposit 8000 credits to book your return flight now. Buh-bye."
The mages couldn't help but chuckle at the voice. The hatch began to open. As Goku's shadowy figure became visible. Krillin couldn't help but smile happily. He recognized that energy from anywhere.
"G-goku. Goku. I don't know how he does it."
Lucy sighed with a smile. "Yeah, he always seems to come in the nick of time. Let's hope he gets in time to save Gohan."
Mira clenched her fists with worry. "Let's hope so Lucy."
As the screen showed Goku again. The Saiyan began to look around.
"Alrighty then. Let's see. Wow, there's some big powers out there." Goku narrowed his eyes. "Evil powers. Hang on guys."
"Please get there on time, Goku," thought Mira worriedly.
As Goku began to levitate in the air. The Saiyan from Earth could immediately feel the strongest energy signal on the planet.
"There's the big fish over that way." Goku's head went in another direction. "And there is number two, the second strongest." He gritted his teeth in annoyance. "Man. Gohan? Krillin? Why can't I pick you up?" Goku's eyes suddenly widened in shock. "That's why. They're barely hanging on. Their power… it's almost down to zero."
"Oh no," said Wendy Horrified. "Please get there in time Goku."
"Yeah, buddy. Get your ass in gear," said Grey with an urgent voice.
"I had no idea I was cutting it so close. There's not another minute to spare." Goku gained a determined look in his eyes. "Alright, guys. Here I come. I know the odds are against me but if there's a way to win I'm gonna find it."
The mages smirked at Goku's words.
Marakov gained a grandfatherly smile. "Do your best, Goku. That's all you can do."
"You got this, Man," said Gajeel with a thumbs up.
Erza smiled at Goku's words. She gained a small blush. "I know you can do it, Goku. Show those Ginyu's what happens when they mess with your friends."
Goku's red aura from the Kaioken flared up.
Back on the battlefield. Recoome spotted the red sparks in the distance. "Hey, look at the pretty fireworks."
It happened in an instant. Burter and Jeice gained a nervous look as they felt an incredibly fierce wind blowing in their direction. Small rocks began to levitate into the air. A red fireball soared by them with incredible speed. Recoome spun out of control as the fast object flew past him. And when the man finally gained his footing. He saw a strange man with orange clothes standing at the little boy's body.
"Who the heck is he," said Recoome confused.
"You're about to find out, pal," said Grey with a smirk.
"Did you guys see that," said Gajeel amazed. "What incredible speed. I, I couldn't even follow it."
Gildarts chuckled nervously. "You're not the only one, Gajeel. I couldn't see it either."
Goku gained a worried look as he saw the state his son was in. "Gohan?"
Mira couldn't help but hold her heart in pain when she saw Gohan's lifeless body. But her eyes widened in surprise when she saw Gohan was still alive although barely.
"G-Goku," said Krillin with a smile.
The Saiyan from Earth smiled at his best friend. "Hey, Krillin. I brought you a surprise. Hang on I'll be right there." Goku kneeled at his son's body and held his head. "My goodness little man. What kind of trouble have you gotten yourself into this time? Hey, Gohan. It's your daddy."
Everyone smiled at the gentle tone Goku spoke with towards his son. The Saiyan from Earth frowned sadly when his son didn't respond to him.
"Gosh, he got nothing left to give. He went all out. That's my son. You're going to be fine Gohan don't you worry."
The mages sighed in relief when Goku said that.
"Thank goodness," said Lisanna with a smile.
"Hey, you," said Recoome annoyed. "Who are you? What do you think you are doing charging in here? You know these losers?"
But Goku ignored the Ginyu Force member. "Here you go, Gohan. Try to swallow."
All the mages especially Mira couldn't help but smile happily as Gohan was brought back to full health.
Goku smiled at his son. "Feel better?"
"It's you," said Gohan with a relieved and happy look. "Dad, you're really here."
Mira couldn't help but let out a few tears of happiness when she saw that Gohan was back at full health again. "Thank you, Goku," thought Mira with a smile.
The Ginyu members were shocked at Gohan's sudden recovery.
Goku began to dust off Gohan's dirty clothes. "Your mother would kill me if she saw you looking like this. There, good as new."
The males couldn't help but swallow nervously at that. Knowing Chichi. There was a good possibility for that to happen.
"Dad, those guys are tough," said Gohan with a worried look.
"I know," said Goku seriously. "We certainly have our work cut out for us. But I am here now so just leave everything to me, okay?"
Gohan nodded hesitantly as the duo of father and son made their way to Krillin.
"So, he really plans to take those Ginyu guys all by himself," said Lucy worried. "I don't think that such a good idea. Sure, he may have gotten faster and stronger. But not even Vegeta could damage that big brute. And we still don't know what those other Ginyu guys are capable of."
Gildarts chuckled. "Lucy. It will be fine. Just watch. I have a feeling we are in for quite the show."
Most of the mages were confused by Gildart's words. But Marakov and Laxus nodded with a smirk.
"What happened to Vegeta," asked Goku confused.
Gohan frowned angrily. "The big guy. Vegeta tried to fight him before we did. But he was just too strong for any of us."
"Yeah, even though that Recoome fellow is as dumb as rocks. He certainly is quite the powerhouse. I would probably have a hard time defeating him too," said Marakov sadly.
Gildarts sighed. "Yes, he's quite the warrior."
Canna snorted at that.
After Goku gave his best friend a Senzu bean. Krillin began to tell Goku he shouldn't have come here. That those guys were monsters. He told his friend that not even Vegeta could damage one of them.
Goku was confused. "Why would he fight Vegeta? I thought he was on their side?"
Krillin wasn't sure where to begin. But Goku put his hand on Krillin's head. He said he would feel it out.
The mages were shocked by Goku's new ability. He could read minds just like the Grand Elder could.
"Amazing," said Lucy surprised.
"That guy," said Gildarts with a nervous chuckle. "He sure is something else."
Goku smiled when he took his hand from Krillin's head. "Oh, so that's it. I saw the whole story. I saw the Grand Elder. And how he gave you two that big power boost. And I saw that Bulma is still safe. And the part about Frieza and the Dragon Balls being taken. And even those Ginyu guys. I got it all."
"What," said Krillin shocked. "That's crazy. I mean, since when have you been able to read minds?"
"I'm not really too sure. That was my first time. It's weird I finished training on the ship and something happened. I can't explain it but I guess exercising at one hundred times normal gravity has extra benefits."
"Looks like it," said Gajeel impressed. "I wonder if we reach Goku's level we will be able to do that too?"
Laxus smirked. "Maybe. It certainly is something to look forward to."
The mages nodded at that.
"What? There's no way. you'd be crushed for sure, Goku."
Goku chuckled at that. "Nah, I guess I must have tough skin or something. I feel just fine."
The mages sweatdropped at that.
"Moron," thought Lucy with a sigh.
Goku told Gohan and Krillin that he was proud of them for facing off such ordeals. He realized it must have been a struggle for them.
Mira nodded at that with a smile. "Yes. They have certainly been through a lot since they arrived on Namek."
Lisanna grinned. "And without Krillin, I doubt they would have survived until now."
"Yeah, jeez thanks. We tried our best to not let you down," said the monk with an embarrassed look.
Goku gained a soft smile. "Ah, neither of you could ever let me down."
The mages smiled at that.
Goku grabbed a Senzu bean from his little bag and frowned. "This is the last Senzu bean huh?"
The Saiyan from Earth looked in Vegeta's direction.
"No," said Canna shocked. "He's not planning what I think he's planning."
"I hope not," said Grey annoyed.
"HEY, VEGETA," yelled Goku as he threw the last bean towards Vegeta.
Recoome tried to eat it. But he missed it and the force of Goku's throw made him lose another tooth in the process.
The mages laughed at that.
When the Saiyan Prince caught the bean he looked at it in confusion.
"EAT IT VEGETA," yelled the Saiyan from Earth with a smile.
"Has Goku lost his marbles," said Lucy annoyed. "Why would he give the last Senzu bean to Vegeta of all people?"
"I have no idea, Lucy," said Erza worried. "I just hope he knows what he's doing."
"Hey, yo. We can't be sure about Vegeta. Are you nuts," asked Krillin toward his friend.
Gohan was in the boat. "Gosh Daddy."
Some of the mages frowned when they saw Vegeta getting back to full health. Probably even more powerful than he was before.
"Man, Goku. I hope you know what you are doing because I sure don't. Why take a big risk?"
"Yes, enlighten us, man," said Gajeel annoyed.
"I owed Vegeta a favor," said Goku with a smile. "If it wasn't for him that guy who freezes time would have finished you guys."
The mages frowned at that.
"Yeah, I guess he's right about that," said Lucy with a sigh. "But I really don't think this is such a good idea."
"There is nothing we can do about it, Lucy. We just have to trust Goku's judgment on this," said Marakov with a smile.
Goku began to walk calmly towards Recoome.
Krillin asked Goku what he was planning to do.
Goku gave his friend a fierce look. The mages swallowed nervously at Goku's expression.
"To teach that big guy a lesson."
"What? All by yourself," said Krillin shocked.
"He's serious," said Gohan amazed.
"Hell yeah. I hope that Recoome fellow is in for a beating of his life," said Natsu with a grin.
"After what he did to Gohan," said Mira with a smirk. "I hope so too. Kick his ass, Goku."
Lisanna chuckled at her sister's words.
Recoome smirked as Goku stood before him. "You really think you got what it takes to beat us huh? Yeah, you're real funny."
"Oh, man. This has to be the worst idea ever. Does Goku really not sense how strong these guys are? These Ginyu's are way out of our league."
"I don't know, Krillin. Somethings different," said the young boy with a thoughtful look.
Laxus smirked. "You're right about that kid. Man, this is going to be good."
Gildarts chuckled at that.
Recoome told his pals to tell him Goku's power level so he wouldn't kill him in one shot. But his pals smirked and told him he was only at 5000.
The big man snorted. "Oh, man. Is that really all you've got? I should have figured you are all talk."
The mages snorted at the big oaf.
"They really need to stop relying on those Scouters to measure an individual's fighting progress. Frieza's other soldiers did the same thing with those Namekians," said Juvia with a sigh.
"Yeah, and you know how that turned out for them," said Evergreen with a snort.
"I don't understand. Why is Kakarot so unusually calm? Surely he realizes what he's up against. But still, he is completely at ease. He hasn't even bothered to put up his guard." Vegeta's eyes suddenly widened in shock. "Wait... Has he... Has he actually done it?"
The mages were confused. What was Vegeta talking about?
"Oh, wait. I get it. You're nuts, right? You got some kind of sick death wish or something," said Recoome with a stupid smile.
Goku smirked at Recoome. Which made three certain girls blush.
"Yeah, that settles it. You're crazy. Here am I about to kill you and you are smiling like an idiot."
"Listen, you can't beat me. I can tell without even fighting you."
The mages were surprised at Goku's words.
"Is Goku talking smack against his opponent? That's a first," said Grey.
"Not gonna lie. That's kinda hot," said Canna with a grin.
Recoome began to laugh. "You got a million of them don't ya? Do you boys hear that? Funny man is still telling jokes over here. I'm about to keel over I'm laughing so hard."
Even Krillin and Gohan were surprised by Goku's words. They had both never seen him act like this before.
"It, couldn't be," said Vegeta shocked. "No, that would be impossible. Kakarot that low-class scum. There's no way someone like him could become a Super Saiyan."
The mage's eyes widened at that.
"Are we finally going to hear more about that legend," said Wendy curious.
"Maybe so dear," said Charla.
"Cool, said Natsu with stars in his eyes. I knew Goku would do it."
"Hold on, Natsu. Don't jump to conclusions like that. Besides, we still don't know what a Super Saiyan is or what it looks like," said Gildarts with a thoughtful look.
"True," said Marakov. "And this Super Saiyan is supposed to be a legend amongst the Saiyan race. It might not even exist."
"Yeah, Gine did call it a Fairy tale after all," said Levi in deep thought.
According to legend. The last Super Saiyan existed over a thousand years ago. His power was extraordinary. And he had no equal in the Universe. But the mages heard Vegeta say that his rage consumed him. And he got destroyed by his own power
"Damm, what a bummer. Being able to achieve such power. And he couldn't control in the end," said Gajeel.
Laxus frowned. "Maybe that rage was the trigger to awaken that Super Saiyan power. And that Saiyan couldn't control it properly in the mindset he was in."
"Yes, that might be true," said Marakov sadly. "And in the end, that rage overtook his mind. What ultimately brought to his demise."
"Then I hope for Goku's sake he won't be able to obtain that power," said Lucy worriedly. "It might cause him to die again."
Erza, Mira, and Canna frowned sadly at that.
"Lights out funny man," said Recoome with a smirk. The man began to pose. "Now feel the power of, Recoome."
The mages chuckled at Goku's confused look when he saw Recoome's pose.
"DIE," yelled the Giant of a man as he rushed with incredible speed toward our hero.
But everyone's eyes widened in shock when Recoome's fist hit nothing but air.
"W-what the hell? where did he go," asked Grey amazed.
"I don't know," said Juvia dumbfounded. "I didn't even see him move."
"You're not the only one," said Gajeel shocked.
Not even Krillin and Gohan were able to see where Goku went. But Krillin did see Vegeta looking in the direction of Jeice and Burter.
The alien duo were shocked when their Scouter told them Goku was standing behind them.
"You two must also be working for that Frieza guy I heard so much about." Goku gave them a stoic look. "I give you one chance to leave this planet. If I were you I would take it."
"I doubt they would do that," thought Lisanna with a sigh.
And the girl was right. Both Jeice and Burter tried to attack our hero also. But just as their teammate they hit nothing but air.
"Who is this guy," said Jeice shocked.
The mages smirked.
"Your worst nightmare," thought Lucy with a grin.
Goku calmly made his way back to Recoome.
The big giant snorted. "You cocky little punk. That's enough showing off. We get the idea you're pretty quick." Recoome smirked. "Yeah, except speed alone isn't going to be enough to save you."
Goku remained unfazed by Recoome's words.
"See I got this special little move I like to use. And trust me you won't be able to dodge this one, no sir."
The mages frowned worriedly. What sort of move was this Recoome guy planning to do?
"I'm gonna wipe out this whole place. Everything you see is going to be rubble. Just one shot and you're all dead. I hope you're ready Chief," said Recoome with a smirk. "Cuss I'm about to send all you little wimps straight to hell."
The mage's eyes widened in shock when the Earth around Recoome began to shake and cracks began to appear on the ground. His purple aura began to unleash static electricity.
"Shit, this is nuts. He's really planning to destroy the whole area," said Fried a bit worried about Goku and his friends.
But just as Recoome was about to unleash his attack. He cried out in pain. He was stopped instantly by Goku who had his elbow lodged in Recoome's stomach. The amazing speed display shocked the mages and even Krillin and Gohan.
Gildarts even sweated a little. "I knew he got stronger. But this… This is unreal."
"H-how," said Lucy shocked. "Did all that training really make him that fast?"
"It's unbelievable," said Erza with amazement.
Goku chuckled. "Sorry about that. I saw an opening that screamed out attack. So, I did," said Goku with a grin.
"N-not, funny," said Recoome in pain as he fell to the ground knocked out.
Goku smiled. "That must be the Recoome boom."
The mages would have laughed at the scene if they weren't still in a state of shock. Gohan and Krillin couldn't believe their eyes.
"Did my dad just win?"
"No way," said the monk shocked. "Even if Goku caught him off guard. This is still the same guy that both me, you, and even Vegeta couldn't lay so much of a scratch on. I don't know how Goku did it. It's like we are in a dream. The Goku we left on Earth couldn't be doing this right now."
"But this Goku is different," thought Krillin amazed.
"You got that right, Krillin," said Marakov with an astonished look. "I know his training would make him stronger. But this… It goes way beyond what I thought possible."
Laxus smirked. "Yeah, it certainly is incredible."
Vegeta gritted his teeth. "Kakarot. The others might have not seen it but you can't fool my eyes. That was no ordinary attack. The amount of force put in that single point was devastating. There's no doubt Kakarot has surpassed the normal limitations of a Saiyan. But how much power is he concealing? Just how much stronger has Kakarot actually become?"
"Good question," said Laxus with a thoughtful look. "Gildarts, you said around 60000, right?"
The crash mage nodded hesitantly. "Yeah, that was my first thought. But he didn't even use his Kaioken technique and already his speed and strength surpassed my expectations."
Natsu was in awe.
Goku looked in the direction of Jeice and Burter. "You two. I'm warning you. Leave this planet now and don't ever come back. I don't want to fight you. But I will if I have to. And when it comes to that. I promise you that you both will be joining your friend here on the ground. Understand me?"
"I doubt they will listen to you, Goku," said Bickslow with a snort. "Those guys are just too stubborn, just like that Recoome guy."
Jeice smirked. "You heard that Burter? This guy gets in one lucky punch and he thinks he can tangle with the Ginyu force."
"Yeah, Jeice. I think he must have hit himself in the head pretty hard when he landed here. He got Recoome by surprise that's all. That doesn't make him tough. Just lucky, right?"
The mages sighed at their stupidity.
"Right. I'm surprised he got a punch in at all. This guy's power level is way too pathetic to be a challenge."
Mira snorted. "Just how idiotic can those Ginyu's be? Honestly, relying on those gadgets to measure a person's power. This will not end well for them."
Erza smirked. "Yeah, they sure will be in for a rude awakening."
Both Aliens leaped towards Goku.
"Say hello to the Ginyu Force. Jeice." said the humanoid alien with a pose.
"Hi, I'm your worst nightmare. Burter."
Goku gained a stoic look. "I'm not afraid of dreams."
The mages smirked at Goku's words. The two began to throw their attacks at our hero. But it never hit him. Instead, the mage's eyes widenedin shock when the attacks seemed to just go through him.
"What the," said Grey surprised. "Did Goku make his body intangible?"
"No, look closely at Goku's feet," said Gildarts seriously.
"Those are footprints," said Levi shocked. "H-he, that was his own speed."
Laxus nodded with a grin. "Yeah. This guy is incredible. His speed is so fast. His movements can't even be detected by seeing eyes."
"So cool," said Natsu with stars in his eyes.
"Goku really is a man amongst men," Elfman with a grin.
Both Jeice and Burter got annoyed by Goku's lack of fighting back. They both landed on the ground. Jeice, who was standing in front of Goku gained an angry look.
"I'm sick of your little games. We are the Ginyu…"
Goku interrupted Jeice with a punch in the face. The red-skinned alien held his nose in pain.
The mages laughed at the scene. "Nice one," said Gajeel with a grin. "That's gonna leave a mark."
Jeice glared at Goku. "How dare you."
Goku gained a confused look. "How dare I what? Weren't the two of you just trying to attack me?"
"He must have gotten brain damage from that punch," said Grey with a grin.
Bickslow chuckled at that. "Yeah, totally."
"That's it. WE'RE DONE TALKING," yelled Jeice.
Both Aliens tried to attack our hero. Burter with a punch and Jeice with a kick. But both attacks were blocked by the Saiyan from Earth with ease. He then pushed both Ginyu's back.
"Incredible moves," thought Wendy with a smile.
"You're dead," said Burter with a glare.
Goku suddenly crossed his arms. And with a powerful yell, he created a Shockwave with such great force that it sent both Jeice and Burter away from Goku.
"Amazing," said Marakov with a grin. "That shockwave was on a completely different level than the one he did on Snakeway."
Gildarts nodded with a smile.
"What was that," said Jeice a little out of breath. "Where did he get that power all of a sudden?"
"Wow. It's like he just flexed his muscles and sent them flying," said Krillin shocked.
Canna smirked. "He is so hot," thought the card mage.
"Maybe we were wrong. Maybe these two Ginyu guys aren't as strong as we thought they were. They can't even lay a finger on my Dad."
"I doubt that's the case Gohan," said Mira in deep thought. "I think that Goku's training just has made him too strong for them."
"Yeah. That Recoome was no joke. He survived Vegeta's attacks like they're were child play," said Pantherlilly with a stoic look.
Krillin shook his head. "I don't think that's it. Do you feel it? They both putting out a ton of power. They're at least as strong as that Recoome and he was a monster. It's hard to believe. But maybe Goku is just so strong now he's making them look like pushovers."
Mira nodded at that.
"Yeah, I thought that. But if that's true shouldn't we be sensing Dad's energy too," asked Gohan confused.
"Wait, what," said Elfman confused. "They aren't able to sense Goku's energy when he attacks? How come?"
Laxus frowned. "I have a theory but I'm not sure."
Jeice checked his Scouter again. "This doesn't make any sense. The Scouter doesn't lie. His power is only 5000 no mistake."
Vegeta scoffed. "Those fools. It's obvious that Kakarot is suppressing his power level and then raising it sharp in the exact instant he attacks. He's holding every last ounce of energy in reserve until he needs it. And when he strikes it's such a brief blast that not even those advanced Scouters are able to detect it."
"Wow, seriously," said Grey surprised. "That's amazing."
Laxus nodded. "Yeah, looks like my theory was right. That also explains why Gohan and Krillin aren't able to sense his energy either."
Marakov frowned. "The fact that Vegeta was able to deduce it so quickly. His skill on the battlefield is something else."
The mages could only nod at that. The next scenes showed how the two Ginyu Force members tried anything in their arsenal to attack. But nothing seemed to work. Not even when Burter suggested a sneak attack. His plan was to make Jeice fire his crusher ball towards him. And when he dodged, he would sneak behind him. But instead of dodging he deflected the attack toward Burter. And he himself had to dodge.
"Curse you," said Burter. But when he tried to locate our hero. He couldn't find him. "Damm, where the heck did he go?"
Jeice's eyes widened in shock when he saw where Goku was. "BURTER BEHIND YOU!"
Burter turned around and saw Goku smiling at him with a grin.
"Hey."
The mages chuckled at Goku's casual greeting.
"What, nobody outflanks me. I'm Burter. I'm the fastest in the whole Universe."
"I believe Jet would disagree with that," said Levi with a sweatdrop.
Lisanna chuckled at that.
"Well, maybe the second fastest now," said Goku.
Jeice was shocked. " What is going on? No one brushes off my Crusher ball like that. And nobody puts the moves on Burter. It's like something straight out of a nightmare."
Natsu smirked. "Heh, you haven't seen anything yet pal."
"Aye," said Happy with a grin.
"What are you," asked Burter a bit agitated.
"I'm a Saiyan who was raised on Earth. That helped," asked Goku said with a smile.
"You lie," said Burter angrily. "How could a stupid Saiyan monkey be faster than me?"
"Probably because he trains harder than you idiot," said Gajeel with a scoff.
Everyone chuckled at that. Goku said the the same thing.
"Whatever. It doesn't matter. You won't be able to run forever."
Goku just smirked at that.
Erza tried to get her blush under control when she saw Goku's handsome smirk.
"I'll wear you down," said Burter with a glare. "As soon as your speed fails you're mine."
Burter began to attack our hero. But every punch and kick was dodged easily by the Saiyan from Earth. They were moving so fast that most of the mages weren't able to follow. Only, Gildarts, Natsu, Gajeel, Laxus, Erza, and Grey were able to see some of it.
"So fast," said Lucy amazed. "I'm not seeing anything at all."
"Me neither," said Lisanna astonished.
"Dammit. I've had enough of this maggot."
Jeice powered up and flew to help his fellow soldier. He screamed at the top of his lungs. "NO ONE MAKES FOOLS OUT OF THE GINYU FORCE!"
"Dude's really lost it," said Bickslow with a smirk.
Fried chuckled. "Yeah. Guess they never met someone who could challenge them."
Both Jeice and Burter were dishing out blows to Goku. But the mages saw how effortlessly our hero was dodging their blows.
"It's all you can do just to dodge me. You can't even fight back," said Burter with a smirk.
"I wouldn't be so sure," said Goku with a chuckle. In an instant, Goku vanished from the brawl. And it made Jeice and Burter hit each other instead of their target. The two began to argue.
"Idiot," said Burter with a glare.
"The hell you're kicking me for," said Jeice annoyed.
But they soon calmed down. This wasn't the time to be fighting amongst each other.
"Excuse me," said Goku calmly. "But this is your last chance. Quit now, or I will fight back."
"Goku is really giving them enough chances to quit. To be honest. I think he is a little bit naïve," said Evergreen with a sigh. "I know he wants to give people second chances. But from what we all have seen from the Frieza Force so far, all of them are evil without any trace of kindness inside of them. He should just kill them and be done with it."
Laxus frowned. "Evergreen. I know what you mean. But taking a life isn't the answer. Not always at least. It should only come when said person is a threat to humanity or when a planet is in danger. And with Goku there. They aren't a threat."
"Yes, and even then. We ourselves had never had to deal with such a scenario before. Do you really believe for 100 % that you are able to kill someone in cold blood without any sort of guilt," said Mira seriously.
Evergreen sighed. "No, I guess you two are right."
"Even so," said Juvia with a sigh. "I doubt those Ginyu's will listen to Goku's advice."
Grey nodded. "Yup. Probably."
As Juvia had predicted. Both Jeice and Recoome ignored Goku's words and lunged at our hero. Whoever, Goku had enough. He dodged their attacks with grace and came flying with a powerful kick to Burter's armor. It broke apart on contact. He then with amazing speed flew to Burter's body. And landed a punch to his back that sent him to the ground. But just as he did with Nappa back on Earth. He caught him with one hand and threw him on the ground out cold.
"Incredible," said Erza with a smile. "He didn't even use the Kaioken this whole time."
Mira nodded at that. "Yeah. And he didn't use the Kamehameha or Spirit Bomb either."
"Too bad," said Gajeel with a sigh. "I really wanted to see him use either of them. That Kamehameha fight he had with Vegeta back on Earth looked so cool."
"Maybe next time Gajeel Kun," said Levi with a chuckle.
All of the mages could hear the familiar voice of the storyteller in the background.
"Three Ginyu's are down only two remain. The battle continues next time."
"Man I can't wait to see what happens next," said Elfman with a grin.
Lisanna nodded with a smile.
Malia chuckled. "Well, I don't have to repeat myself again. You all know what to do by now."
They all nodded. They all stood up and walked toward the dining room.
