Chapter 83: Lex Luthor Must Live II
January 18th
Age 764 (2014), Switzerland, Geneva
"Goku!" Wonder Woman's voice echoed through the air as she leaped off the ground, her heart racing. In one swift motion, she cast aside her lasso and all her other responsibilities. Vegeta's bondage was no longer her concern. Her sole focus was her husband's return from space.
She pounced on the Saiyan, catching him off guard with her speed, and embraced him.
Diana hugged her husband tenderly from the side, nuzzling his neck with her face. Their height difference had always made hugging a bit of a challenge, but unlike so many other men, Goku had never been intimated by her stature. It felt so surreal to finally have him back in her arms. So many nights, she had laid in bed distraught, longing for his touch. Memories of him and Gohan had gotten her through so many dark times in Doom's Doorway.
Goku laid his head on top of hers, rubbing Diana fondly with his hands. Goku's touch was soothing, but his hands were much rougher than Diana remembered, and his scent was different, too. Maybe it was due to the pouring rain or the fact he'd been lost amongst the stars, but Goku practically had no scent. He used to smell like lilacs, one of her favorite flowers, but now there was no trace of anything. It was strange, but fortunately, Goku's affection remained the same.
Goku tilted Diana's chin and planted a kiss on her lips. It was a soft peck that turned into a passionate rolling of tongues as the married couple lost themselves in each other's touch.
Warm lips on top of warm lips brought flashbacks of the couple's first date when they'd shared their very first kiss. Back then, they'd both been hesitant to touch one another. That night, Goku was so nervous that his legs never stopped shaking.
But now the Saiyan was a different man, comfortable with his body's sensations and confident in his ability to please his wife. Goku and Diana's lips remained locked, eyes gazing into one another. Time was a distant memory as they made up for so much lost time. Everything around them faded: the drops of rain, the Green Lanterns, Trunks, Vegeta, Fel Andar, and Fury, but a shrill cry finally brought them back to reality.
"Get. A. Room! None of us want to see your hormonal lust on display. I'd rather be roasted alive by the Green Lanterns than continue to watch you suck on each other's faces!" Vegeta shouted in annoyance with a fist raised. He spat on the ground to emphasize his disgust.
Wonder Woman wiped her lips with her hand and blushed profusely, suddenly realizing what she'd done. She wasn't fond of public displays of affection, but her feelings had overwhelmed her when she'd laid eyes on her husband for the first time in years. Goku was equally embarrassed, but the Saiyan did a better job of masking it. He laughed awkwardly, but his hue never changed.
Fury floated beside her father and mother with mixed emotions. Watching your mom and dad suck on each other's tongues at any age was almost hurl-inducing, but it was sweet to see how much they cared for each other. They were truly in love. She was slowly beginning to understand why so many people in the future idolized their relationship, including Trunks.
Trunks watched Goku and Diana's display of affection with a hint of jealousy. It was clear that Fury was born out of love. His birth, on the other hand, was nothing more than Vegeta's biological need to mate. The more he observed his father, the more he questioned Bulma's stories about him. She'd always said he was rough around the edges, but not to this extent.
"That was a loving, sweet intermission. Goku's returned to Earth. Hooray," Boodikka said sarcastically, throwing imaginary confetti into the air. "But Vegeta still needs to pay for what he's done, and I will have my justice one way or another."
"Damn it, you're still on this?" Hal asked in disbelief. "For Ganthet's sake, take a look around you. Goku depowered our rings and made that kid power down from Super Saiyan with a hand wave. That kind of power is…. absurd! He doesn't want us to fight, and neither do I. Stand down, Boodikka, or else I'll be forced to reprimand you in front of the Guardians."
"You wouldn't dare!" Boodikka shouted indignantly as she took a step forward.
"I would," Hal reaffirmed, arms crossed over his chest. He hated to be a tattletale and report his fellow corpsmen, but if push came to shove, he'd do it. Sinestro was proof of that.
"Fine. You win." Boodikka said begrudgingly. She lifted her arms in symbolic defeat and slowly backed away from Trunks. "If I'm not allowed to kill Vegeta, I guess I'll settle for arresting him."
"Vegeta isn't going anywhere." Trunks responded. "You'll all die before I ever let that happen." It was a profoundly provocative statement. None of the Green Lanterns took too kindly to the threat. Even Hal, who'd attempted to be level-headed, couldn't tolerate the disrespect.
"Superman told me good things about you, kid, but neither he nor I really know anything about you. I don't know what the future is like, but in the past, or should I say the present, statements like that will get you hurt. Watch yourself." Hal warned, pointing a finger at the Demi-Saiyan.
Superman could sense another confrontation brewing and quickly stepped in. He pulled Trunks back several feet and apologized on his behalf. "Trunks didn't mean that," Clark tried to explain, but the teen doubled down and quickly dispelled those notions.
"I meant every word. Vegeta isn't leaving this planet; I won't allow it."
"And who are you to speak for me? Just because you're a Super Saiyan, you think you can say and do as you please? I don't require any assistance from you or the Thanagarian." Vegeta growled.
"I'm just –"
"I don't care what you're trying to do," Vegeta cut Trunks off. "I can handle my own problems. That goes for you, too, Kakarot." The prince pointed at the Saiyan in question, who was descending from the sky with Wonder Woman and Fury.
"Me? What did I do?" Goku wrinkled his nose, confused.
"Nothing…. yet…. but I know you'll attempt something idiotic!" Vegeta's eyes narrowed.
"You know, for someone facing so many charges, you sure have a lot of nerve." Hal Jordan scoffed, butting into the conversation. "One way or another, we're bringing you back to Oa."
"I won't allow that." Fury declared as she landed in front of Hal.
"You too?" Hal said incredulously, palming his face. "What type of dirt does Vegeta have on you guys? Why are you defending him? You're supposed to be heroes. He's a criminal!"
"Trunks and I have our reasons, and that's all I'll say," Fury responded curtly. "We don't need to fight, but if you insist on taking Vegeta, Trunks and I will have no choice but to resort to violence." The Amazon from the future warned. She eyed her potential opponents and cracked her knuckles in preparation.
Wonder Woman spoke up before things got too out of hand. "Can't we reach some sort of happy medium? Yes, Vegeta needs to be punished for his actions; we all know that, but there's clearly a reason why our two allies from the future are so staunch about keeping him on Earth. There's something we obviously don't know about." Wonder Woman glanced at Trunks and Fury. Neither Demi-Saiyan said anything, but their facial expressions spoke volumes.
"Assuming I believe this theory of yours, what am I supposed to do? Should I let Vegeta off scot-free? At the end of the day, I'm still a Green Lantern, and I have responsibilities and duties."
"For decades, those supposed responsibilities and duties didn't seem to matter to the Guardians of the Universe. They allowed Frieza and his underlings to terrorize the galaxy while they sat back doing nothing, but now, because Frieza has perished, no thanks to you, your newfound authority is supposed to matter?" Fel Andar said angrily. Thanagar was no friend of the Oans. During Thanagar's darkest hour, the Green Lanterns had abandoned them.
"Let's get one thing straight; I never liked or agreed with how the Guardians handled the Planet Trade Organization," Hal Jordan said adamantly. The Green Lanterns behind him nodded, confirming his words. "I played the cards I was dealt. Nothing more, nothing less. But now that things have changed, I intend to bring every member of the PTO to justice, starting with the one in front of me."
"You're aware that Frieza killed me, right? I haven't been a member of the Planet Trade Organization in a long time. In fact, I'm sure I probably have a terminate-on-sight order. If you're going to accuse me of something, at least get your facts straight." Vegeta rolled his eyes.
"Since Vegeta is already on Earth, why don't you just let us deal with him?" Goku suggested. It seemed like the simplest thing to do.
"The Green Lanterns are better suited to deal with Vegeta. He'll receive a fair trial, and unlike Earth, Oa actually has the means to imprison him." Hal argued, shaking his head.
"It should be noted that Vegeta has already been imprisoned on Earth while you were gone," Superman stated matter-of-factly, earning a raised eyebrow from Hal. "Instead of Vegeta, I can give you something even more valuable that I'm sure the Guardians will want."
"What?"
"I can give you King Cold. After I fought him, I put him in the Phantom Zone."
"Are you serious?" The hairs on Hal's neck stood up. Clark hadn't mentioned that while summarizing the battle with the PTO.
"Yes. I'm dead serious. If you agree to leave Vegeta with us, you can have King Cold."
Hal turned and faced the Green Lanterns behind him. He was the leader of this mission, and it was ultimately his decision, but he still wanted to confer with his comrades. They all agreed with Superman's idea, even Boodikka, which greatly surprised Hal. Everyone was on the same page. Hal settled his gaze back on Superman. "You've got yourself a deal."
Superman and Hal shook hands to finalize their agreement. Clark just hoped he wasn't making a foolish decision. Trunks and Fury had proven to be valuable assets during the fight with Frieza, but as Hal had said, much wasn't known about them. Why were they in the past? What had occurred in the future? Why were they so adamant about keeping Vegeta on Earth? Clark had a slew of questions for the two teenagers, and he would ensure he got answers for them one way or another.
"Since that's out of the way now, what will we do about the rest of Frieza's troops?" Goku asked. Their ki presences still loomed large over the planet.
"Frieza's troops? I thought they were all dead." Hal said in confusion. "Where are they?"
"At first, they were hovering over Geneva, but their energy signals have moved to France. You didn't detect them on your way here?" Goku asked Hal.
"No…no, we didn't," Hal responded with a frown.
"Frieza and his troops were able to hide their Ki during their initial attack. They most likely spotted the Green Lanterns approaching Earth and somehow cloaked themselves from your rings." Wonder Woman deduced, rubbing her chin.
"That does seem plausible," Hal pondered. "How many of them are there? Can you sense them all?"
"There's quite a few of them," Trunks answered in place of Goku. "There are at least two dozen Frieza Force soldiers on what I assume is their ship."
Hal whistled at the numbers. "That's quite a bit."
"We should go as a team and handle this as quickly as possible." Wonder Woman suggested.
"No, it's okay," Hal waved his hand dismissively. "You guys have already taken care of the heavy lifting. The Green Lanterns will handle this on our own."
"Are you sure?" Clark asked.
"Yes, I'm sure. We've got this." Hal gave Superman a thumbs up and blasted off with his squad before the Kryptonian could even respond.
"So, what now?" Fury asked as she watched the emerald auras of the Green Lanterns fade out of view.
"We regroup," Goku answered. He interlocked his fingers with Diana's and smiled. "I have a lot of catching up to do."
Dragonball DC
The Green Lanterns were gone for nearly an hour. During that time span, Wonder Woman did her best to bring Goku up to speed. The Saiyan was floored and astounded as Diana narrated numerous events that had taken place during his absence. The Starro invasion and the formation of the Justice League were two events that stuck out the most. While Goku had been away on Namek, the Earth had faced its own perils, but fortunately, Superman and other heroes had emerged to save the day. Even Chi-Chi had pitched in to help.
But there were some things that words just couldn't express in full detail, and for those events, Goku read Diana's mind. The newfound ability caught Diana and her comrades off guard. Goku placed a hand on her head, and seconds later, countless memories were visible to him. It felt a little invasive, but Goku didn't pry too much; he only used his telepathy to witness Diana's ordeals in Themyscira.
A tear slid down Goku's face once he was finished, guilt eating at him for his failure to locate his wife during her absence. Diana had been all alone in Doom's Doorway, fighting for her life, and Goku had been totally clueless. He apologized profusely, but Diana assured him it wasn't his fault. Nonetheless, Goku's shame and guilt remained. He vowed to never let any harm befall his wife again.
Superman largely remained quiet while the couple bonded. The things he wanted to discuss with Goku could wait until later. Vegeta, on the other hand, didn't share Superman's disposition. The Saiyan prince watched the married couple bond with ire and impatience. His disgust flared each time Goku and Diana shared a tender, heartfelt moment.
Fel Andar was indifferent, but Trunks and Fury eyed Goku and Wonder Woman with awe. Everything they'd heard about Goku and Wonder Woman's relationship was seemingly true. All those childhood stories were more than just fiction. It was inspiring for Trunks, but it was tear-jerking for Fury. These were the parents she'd never known. The love they shared radiated off one another. If they loved each other this much, maybe, just maybe, they could love her despite all the grief she would bring them.
Fury pondered revealing her true identity to her parents, but Hal Jordan's sudden reemergence interrupted her before she could. The Green Lantern descended from the sky with a new cast of allies. Gohan, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu trailed behind him in an orderly fashion. Following Hal, the group of heroes landed on the ground one after the other, pausing once they laid eyes on Goku.
"Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!" Gohan yelled as he scrambled toward his father, running as fast as his little legs could take him. Goku met him halfway and scooped his son into his arms. He hugged Gohan tightly and cradled against his chest.
"How you been? I missed you so much."
Gohan sobbed, on the verge of complete tears, but composed himself. He would be strong like his father. His father placed him back on the ground and playfully ruffled his hair. It was annoying, but it was a sensation Gohan had missed.
"You've gotten taller and stronger," Goku whistled as he scrutinized his son. "It won't be long before you're taller than me."
"And what about us? We're just old news, huh?" Krillin said jokingly, drawing Goku's attention.
"That will never be the case," Goku smiled and phased in front of Krillin, startling the former monk. He gave him a firm handshake. "I'm glad to see you, especially after what happened on Namek."
Krillin smiled somberly. His second death was still a sore subject for him. The Dragon Balls had resurrected him, but the mental scars of Frieza's torture remained. Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu all took their turns greeting Goku, and a small conversation broke out until Hal cleared his throat, centering everyone's attention on him.
"I don't want to ruin a happy reunion here, but we have some business to take care of first."
"Where are the other Green Lanterns?" Vegeta asked, caring little for whatever Hal was prattling about. He could no longer sense their Ki.
"All you need to know is that they're rounding up the rest of your PTO pals. Each one of them has a nice warm Sciencell waiting for them."
"You're one insufferable fool! I am no longer associated with the Planet Trade Organization. I could care less about whatever happens to them." Vegeta barked, flaring his Ki. Diana reached for her lasso, ready to tame the unruly Saiyan if need be, but Goku calmed things down before they got out of hand.
"What Vegeta says is true. I can vouch for him. He's a dead man walking if the rest of the PTO get their hands on him."
"I don't require your assistance, Kakarot. I can handle this pathetic Green Lantern on my own."
"Jeez, you're as stubborn as ever, Vegeta. Some things never change," Goku chuckled, increasing Vegeta's ire. Goku left the prince behind and approached Hal, pivoting back to the original conversation. "What business were you talking about, Hal?"
"Frieza is dead, and King Cold is currently in the Phantom Zone, but the Planet Trade Organization still has a leader who might be even more powerful than Frieza."
Goku's eyes widened. "What? Are you serious?"
Hal slowly nodded yes.
"He might be stronger than Frieza? Who is he? Why didn't you ever mention him before?" Goku asked anxiously, sweat dripping from his brow. He had so many questions.
"Cooler, his name is Cooler," Vegeta answered in place of Hal. "He's Frieza's older brother."

Age 764 (2014), Debstam IV, Cygnus System
The ground shook as Cooler and Mongul's fists collided with a jarring bang. The raucous noise reverberated all the way up to Mongul's hillside palace. The Warzoon's ivory palatial estate was one of the few architectural marvels on Debstam IV. Aside from his residence and a few decaying monuments previously erected in his honor, Mongul's homeworld was a barren wasteland. There wasn't a single citizen in sight or any noticeable natural resources.
Why anyone wanted to purchase this desolate, decrepit planet was beyond Cooler, but it wasn't his place to contemplate such things. He was simply here to eliminate its inhabitants or, rather, its sole inhabitant, but Mongul was every bit as formidable as he looked. It was no small wonder why his reign over Warworld was absolute. On Warworld, every advantage would've likely been in Mongul's favor, but on Debstam IV, Cooler fought on equal ground.
Mongul was a towering behemoth. He was eight feet tall and dwarfed Cooler in any of his forms. His purple and gray costume accentuated his pale-yellow skin, and rippling muscles protruded through his clothes. He should've been a lumbering oaf due to his sheer muscle mass, but the Warzoon was surprisingly nimble. A metallic contraption covered half his head, granting him mental control over Warworld, but Mongul had yet to use it.
What the Warzoon didn't hesitate to use, though, was the energy cannon embedded in his chest. It was rectangularly shaped, outlined in metal, and jutted from his chest. Mongul fired it at point-blank range, ending the brief struggle between him and Cooler. The Warzoon laughed and retreated several steps as a searing green light washed over Cooler, momentarily obscuring him and everything in the nearby vicinity.
"Your might is nothing compared to mine!" Mongul cackled but was quickly forced to eat his words as Cooler emerged unharmed, whisps of smoke fading around him.
"You're so arrogant for someone who possesses such little power." Cooler frowned and lunged at Mongul, reigniting their conflict. He threw a punch that struck the Warzoon's chest but had little to no effect. Mongul merely scoffed at him and reciprocated his blow with a punch of his own. A massive yellow fist zoomed toward his head, but he evaded it, leaning back in the nick of time. Mongul launched another strike, an uppercut that actually made contact, propelling Cooler into the air.
The Frost Demon soared through the heavens for a few minutes but eventually stabilized himself. Mongul gave chase, leaping off the ground after him, but the Warzoon didn't realize he was jumping into Cooler's element now. Before his arrival on Debstam IV, Cooler had studied Mongul's powers and abilities. Unlike his foolish little brother Frieza, Cooler rarely underestimated his opponents and always did reconnaissance and research before engaging with an enemy. Mongul was capable of flight but in a limited capacity, and his speed was nowhere near his; the Warzoon was simply outmatched in this regard.
Mongul approached Cooler with laser beams bursting from his eyes. "Oh, how quaint," Cooler thought as he fired laser beams of his own. The two eye beams canceled each other out in spectacular, colorful explosions. Mongul growled in frustration and attempted to headbutt Cooler once he was within arm's reach, but the Frost Demon was as slippery as ever. Cooler created an afterimage and phased out of harm's way, leaving Mongul perplexed as his skull felt nothing but the passing breeze.
Cooler reappeared behind the gigantic despot and unleashed hell. Multiple rainbow-colored Ki beams peppered Mongul's back. Mongul suppressed his screams, but the physical damage was visible; his shirt was in tatters now, and rivulets of odd-colored blood were leaking. Cooler was mildly impressed. A barrage like that was usually more than enough to take down most opponents. The fact that Mongul was still in one piece spoke volumes about his strength.
Mongul, however, didn't share those sentiments; the Warzoon was enraged. He hadn't felt pain like this since his skirmish with Superman, but this battle was even more humiliating. At least when he'd fought the Man of Steel, Superman had gone all out to defeat him. Cooler had yet to unleash his full power; the Frost Demon didn't view him as a significant threat.
"You come to my planet and toy with me?" Mongul flipped around, red eyes blazing with fury. "I'm the conqueror of worlds. The king of kings. The ruler of –" Mongul's tirade was cut short as Cooler abruptly grabbed him by the throat, choking him. The Warzoon's voluminous neck was hard to get a firm hand around, but Cooler used his Ki to apply pressure to Mongul's larynx.
"You are a great conqueror; that much is true. I'm not too arrogant to admit that. You would've bested my subordinates, which is why you unfortunately had to face me today. But take solace in the fact that your empire won't completely go to waste. After I conquer this forsaken planet, I will make Warworld my own and take it to previously unseen heights. Your death will be the catalyst for true greatness. It's just a shame that you won't be here to witness it."
Cooler fired two death beams directly into Mongul's skull, killing him instantly. The Warzoon perished without a single whimper. Cooler thoroughly inspected Mongul to make sure the deed was done, and once he was finished, he discarded the Warzoon like trash, carelessly tossing his body to the ground. It crashed with a heavy thump, and when Cooler descended to the ground, he used the lifeless body as a seat. Cooler got comfy and crossed his arms and legs in a relaxed position. Seconds later, his Armored Squadron emerged.
Salza, Dore, and Neiz had been busy scouring the planet during Cooler's fight with Mongul, double-checking to ensure Debstam IV was as vacant as it seemed.
"My Lord," Salza bowed and kneeled before Cooler's purple feet. The turquoise Brench-seijin
was the leader of Cooler's personal mercenary platoon and his most trusted soldier.
"Did you locate anyone else on this planet?"
Salza shook his head. "No, sire, but I did discover some very troubling news."
"Oh? What is it?" Cooler asked, leaning forward.
Salza gulped and readjusted his Scouter. Cooler wasn't as hot-tempered as his younger brother, but there was no telling how the elder Frost Demon would react to this harrowing news. "Lord Frieza and King Cold have both perished on Earth. Dore, Neiz, and I were informed of this news through our Scouters by the troops they brought to Earth. There aren't many of them left, and the few who managed to survive will be taken into custody by the Green Lantern Corps."
A tense silence followed, and Salza, Dore, and Neiz all looked at each other, highly concerned. Minutes ticked by like eons before Cooler finally spoke again.
"I knew this day would eventually come, but I didn't expect it to be so soon. My father let Frieza's brashness push him into making a stupid decision. They broke our pact with the Green Lantern Corps and perished for it. They brought their deaths upon themselves, but vengeance
must still be taken."
"Should I rally our troops for an invasion?" Salza asked hopefully but was quickly shot down.
"No," Cooler said affirmatively. "The being or beings on Earth who killed my father and brother obviously possess a great level of power, one that I won't underestimate. As strong as I am now, I doubt that I can kill the individual or individuals who bested the combined might of my family. On top of that, the Green Lantern Corps will surely seek to destroy the Planet Trade Organization. Internal conflicts will most certainly arise from planets seeking their freedom and outside empires will try to encroach on our territory."
"So, what will we do then, Lord Cooler?" Salza, Dore, and Neiz asked in unison.
"I must strengthen my grip over this empire. Kuriza is Frieza's heir, but he's too young and weak to handle what's about to come. After I squash some inevitable rebellions and center all of the Planet Trade Organizations' power on me, then and only then shall I seek revenge." Cooler stood up and balled his fist. "Prepare my ship; we're leaving this planet immediately. There's work to be done."
A big thank you to everyone who reviewed chapter 82!
A/N: I didn't mean to take such a long break. I actually had a good portion of this chapter already written back in June, but then I got writer's block and lost interest for a while.
Q/A:
ENDDRAGON369: No, they won't venture to the canon DC Earth.
reader2020italia: A future storyline will address the Justice League's aversion to killing. The Android saga in this story will significantly differ from canon.
Kaleidoscope's Beauty: Your memory is excellent.
guardianx15: The ability Goku displayed in chapter 81 will be explained soon. All the things you said were good guesses about Fury. You'll see a transformation from Cooler, but I won't say what it is.
kaffeenator666: You've been very helpful with constructive criticisms, ideas, and well-thought-out reviews; I really appreciate that. Your reviews always make my day. My favorite DBM special is probably the one about Ghast. I'll check out your cologne recommendation. You had a lot of theories about Fury and her Ki, and they were all interesting to read. Some of them might be correct. But yeah, Fury needs to get her Ki situation figured out and handled ASAP. I've read Bringer of Death before; I remember reading it when it was first published, but I'm not caught up on it. The best movie trilogy or? Pizza over burgers any day.
Omnihallows: Vegeta and Bulma's relationship in this story might not end up how you think.
Vivian: Goku learned other things during his stay with the Yardratians, and you'll see those abilities soon.
Vault Hunter: The ability Goku displayed in chapter 81 will be explained, but it's not what you think. I won't make Goku so overpowered that he solos everyone.
Guest: Prior to chapter 81, the last chapter Goku appeared in was chapter 59.
Mando-Vet: Do you think I overdid Vegeta's arrogance in previous chapters?
Anonymous Mastermind: There will be new story arcs between the Cell and the Buu sagas. This story won't have a time skip after the Cell saga. I plan to explore a lot of things during that time period. The Goku in this story is very similar to the one from canon, minus a few differences. By the end of this story, this version of Goku will still be the same personality-wise but will differ from canon due to his experiences. Supergirl isn't near the sun. Way back in chapter 30, I showed that Darkseid has her. The poll for Gohan's relationship is on my profile.
Thelazycrow: Vegeta's decision might have repercussions later, and yes, Trunks' timeline will be shown.
Historiasrandom: By this point in their history, the Green Lanterns have already moved past their yellow weakness; the SSJ aura thing wouldn't work.
Nathan Ramos: The Super Saiyan aura isn't a weakness for Green Lantern rings in this story. I don't have any plans for Kong Kenan.
Ayrton Senna: You'll see Starfire soon.
SuperSaiyanSlime: The time skips at the beginning of the story were admittedly done haphazardly. Back then, I didn't feel like writing Dragonball in its entirety, but if I had the chance to do it over again, I would do things differently. If you have dropped this story, I still thank you for reading and reviewing it.
Marvelesque1Der: Super Saiyan God will likely be the peak of Saiyan transformations in this story. Lex Luthor will not be able to use Ki, and Frieza will not return in a future story arc.
Observing the Stars: Goku won't be a bad dad.
evolution-500: I think you might be the only reviewer who knew about Astrild Storm-daughter lol. Lobo will make an appearance.
1201: Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately, I can't answer your questions because they are spoilers.
Guest: I understand your viewpoint, but throughout the fight with Frieza, I stressed how powerful his regeneration was. It was the main thing that kept him alive for so long. Without it, the Earth's heroes would've taken him down quickly. Due to his upgrades, Frieza had almost unlimited regeneration and stamina, but he wasn't more physically powerful than Trunks, Fury, etc. Frieza just had a cheat code.
Kheno21: You have valid concerns. This story has multiple subplots and moving parts, and they aren't always managed as well as they should be. I'll have to be more attentive and do a better job to ensure that things like character relationships aren't overlooked or skipped over. Luckily for you, Starfire is winning the poll on my profile.
Guest: I haven't thought about including the Black Star Dragon Balls in this story.
