"She wants you to time travel!?" Alfana exclaimed loudly, dressed in her black robe again.

"I'm not on board with it either." Camilla said with a frustrated tone.

"So much for a nap..." Bernard thought, his face having a slap mark on it.

Within the office of guild master Barnum, Bernard and his mother Alfana sat opposite of each other on couches as Bernard revealed some of the details of his mission that he agreed to in order to clear the debt that the government had over him. Standing beside Bernard was Camilla with her arms folded while coldly looking at her boyfriend whilst Master Barnum sat quietly in his chair with his eyes closed behind his desk.

"What were you thinking agreeing to that?!" Alfana complained with a look of disbelief in her eyes. "Bad enough you chose to take money from the royal family of the kingdom but to go this far just to get some "red tape" cut?!' She continued, scolding her son.

"Not to mention, telling me all of this and not expecting anyone to be concerned..." Camilla said with a judgmental tone.

"I was expecting that, just wasn't expecting you to get so agitated that you'd slap me in the face and drag me to my parents..." Bernard thought as he glanced up at the S-class head of security.

"So, let me get this straight." Master Barnum said, catching everyone's attention. "What the monarchy wants from you is to go back in time to the night of that dragon attack at the capital, during the Grand Magic Games." He said as Bernard nodded in response. "They then want you to bring back a portion of magic belonging to a man that was from an alternate timeline who was responsible for the dragon attack due to him having some kind of unique ability that the royal family want monopolized?" Barnum continued.

"I was told, if anyone asked and I needed to answer, to leave out the lack of weapons the kingdom has and the "Dragon Supremacy Magic" stuff..." Bernard thought as his mother and girlfriend looked at him with displeased eyes. "Yeah..." He replied.

"Hmmmmmm..." Master Barnum muttered in response. "Don't want to say it out loud to piss off the girls but I have to admit, that's pretty rad." He thought with a look of mild enthusiasm.

"The problem I have with this is that you have to go solo." Alfana said with agitation in her voice.

"That's my biggest issue with this whole thing too." Camilla said in agreement.

"That knight lady you mentioned is still in town, right? Let me get her to set up a meeting to let me talk to the princess and this general guy and-" Alfana said until Bernard spoke up to cut her off.

"Not happening." Bernard said. "They already had an issue with your board game being on the market, the last thing I think they want is to meet with you and you getting their hands on some government secrets the moment you glance at anyone's hands." He said as Alfana made an offended expression.

"First of all, yes, I would do that and leave the castle with "hidden knowledge," thank you very much!" Alfana said, blatantly revealing her intentions to get major government secrets if she were to meet the royal family as she stood up from her seat. "Secondly, what problem could they possibly have with Barendkoff?!" She said further.

"They think that it's dangerous to have a board game that alters people's futures being sold in stores and are a bit concerned as to how you got it past the Magic Council..." Bernard explained as Alfana quietly closed her mouth and sat back down. "Mom?" He thought with curiosity upon seeing her reaction.

"Mrs. O'Halloran?" Camilla said as Alfana shifted her eyes away from everyone.

"...Well... The Magic Council wasn't too much of an issue with that..." Alfana said with a tone that left Bernard and Camilla with suspicions.

'"You did something, didn't you?"' Bernard and Camilla said in unison with half-closed eyes.

"...Noooo..." Alfana replied with a bead of sweat dripping down her face. "...I might have given a few people in Era a couple of free crystal ball readings with some "positive reveals" to get the game certified for distribution but that's nothing to "wag a finger" over..." She thought with her eyes closed. "Look, this isn't about me or my projects! This is about him and the fact he's going on a time travel jaunt by himself!" Alfana shouted whilst pointing at her son.

"How exactly are they going to send you back in time?" Camilla questioned as Bernard looked at his girlfriend.

"Well, I guess I can mention that..." Bernard said as Camilla and Alfana looked at him. "There's this magic book called "Memory Days."' He said as Barnum raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, I've heard of that." Master Barnum said, catching everyone's attention. "It's an interesting little magic tome. It can send someone back in time to "the time that they don't want to remember."' He explained as the ladies in the room looked each other briefly. "Supposed to work up to six hours." Barnum continued.

"How's that supposed to work? Were you at the Grand Magic Games two years ago?" Camilla said as she questioned Bernard, who shook his head to signify a negative response.

"Then how are they supposed to be sending you back there?" Alfana asked.

"I wasn't but Princess Hisui was so she would have to use the book. All I would have to do is be in the room when she uses it and then I'm back there with her. I can't go deeper than that into details but effectively speaking, I'm the "perfect person" for this." Bernard said as Camilla raised an eyebrow.

"...Ohhhhhh." Alfana muttered.

"Ahhhh... I understand it." Master Barnum said.

"What? I don't get it." Camilla said, not fully grasping what they meant.

"Bernard is the perfect person to go back in time to that period because he wasn't there." Alfana said towards Camilla. "Because he wasn't there during a major event in the "time stream" so to speak, he could effectively do the job he has to do without it affecting the timeline when he comes back." She explained. "...Or rather, "if" he comes back." Alfana said with a bothered tone directed at her son, Bernard wincing from her judging eyes.

"But I wasn't there too... Neither were either of you or the rest of the Psycho Circus members. We could still go and-" Camilla said until Bernard spoke up.

"That's not going to work." Bernard stated as everyone looked at him. "There's only three people going back in time on this job: me, the princess and the head of the knights to protect the princess. If any more people than that comes along, it runs the risk of potentially leaving people behind in the past because of how Memory Days works. One of the reasons they can't send back anyone who's already affiliated with the events of two years ago is because of the problems that would occur if they were there. I'm an outlier." He explained as Camilla made a frustrated expression.

"...Oh, so they thought of everything, didn't they?" Camilla said with an agitated tone as she marched towards the door. "This is bullshit." She thought in displeasure as she grabbed the door handle to Barnum's office, violently swung the door open and angrily stomped away, leaving the O'Halloran family in the room.

"Surprised the door didn't break off its hinges." Alfana thought before looking at her son. "Why did you agree to this? Are you really that impatient?" She asked with a critical tone. "There's tons of stuff we have to go through with the Magic Council to get the second guildhall approved beforehand. Planning stages, supplies, timeframes and-" Alfana said until Bernard put his hand up to cut her off, Barnum raising an eyebrow as he looked at his son.

"Doesn't matter if we get the second guildhall open in two days, four months or ten years. If the debt the royal family has over my head lingers all the way till then, it means nothing." Bernard said with a serious look on his face. "If I'm supposed to be the guild master in the future, it's not a good thing for the people in the guild or outside the guild know that the person in charge is up to his scalp in a loan." He said as Alfana put her hand on her forehead and Barnum made a face that appeared like he somewhat agreed.

"Well, then we pay off the amount, simple as that! Come up with a payment plan or something!" Alfana said, giving an alternative solution.

"I'm not okay with that either." Bernard said.

"Why not?! Your father is practically a loan shark, there's other ways to approach this!" Alfana replied angrily whilst pointing at Barnum.

"I prefer the term; "positive moneylender."' Master Barnum said jovially.

"Not now, Barney!" Alfana said with a disgruntled tone from Barnum's comment.

"Because the money being used to pay that off isn't "my" money." Bernard said as Alfana shook her head in disbelief.

"Yes, it is! It's the "families" money! This is a family business, so your problem is mine too!" Alfana said as she got to her feet once again.

"No, it's "your" money and "dad's" money but it's "my" debt! I need to be the one to handle this!" Bernard said as he got to his feet as well.

"It's only been twenty-four hours since you said "yes" to becoming the guild master! Do you really need to rush!?" Alfana shouted in an agitated tone.

"Faster I get this specific issue out the way, the faster other things get done!" Bernard replied angrily.

As the pacemaker needing young man and the fortune telling show manager looked at each other confrontationally, Barnum proceeded to reach into a drawer in his desk and pulled out a horn with a squeezable end. Putting his hand on the end and applying pressure, the ceiling panels above everyone opened up and out came a series of horns that pointed downward and proceeded to let loose a cacophony of loud noise, causing the guild masters wife and son to put their hands over their ears.

"Argh!" Bernard exclaimed loudly.

"Barney?!" Alfana shouted as she and Bernard rubbed their ears in pain.

"What the hell!?" Bernard said as Barnum put the horn away, back into the drawer it was in originally as the horns above everyone disappeared.

"I was getting tired of listening." Master Barnum said with a smirk on his face. "Now both of you, sit." He instructed as Alfana and Bernard looked at each other briefly before sitting back down on their respective couches. "Bernard, I do agree with your mother and Camilla's concerns. It wasn't smart at all to accept this job before getting all the details to it and frankly, I'd prefer it if you had some help from the guild on this mission." Barnum said as Bernard looked down.

"Didn't have much of a choice." Bernard thought as Alfana folded her arms.

"See, I said-" Alfana said until Barnum spoke up.

"However, Alfana..." Master Barnum said until he turned towards his wife, catching her off-guard.

"Huh?" Alfana muttered in confusion.

"I believe you're forgetting a few things." Master Barnum said as Alfana wasn't sure what her husband meant.

"What?" Alfana replied.

"You played Barendkoff with the boy, remember? Wasn't one of the rounds you told me was that he wasn't going to pass away any time soon?" Master Barnum said as Bernard's eyes widened.

"Huh?!" Bernard replied in shock. "When did that occur during the game?! All I remember was some bullshit about phobias, girls and no money in my pocket?!" He said as he looked at his mother, who was currently making a nervous expression.

"It was during that round with the whale card that I won." Alfana said with her eyes slightly rolling. "If I didn't win that round, you would be subjected to a future with a shortened lifespan..." She continued. "I seriously need to remove that card when the first expansion comes out!" Alfana thought as she put a hand on her head.

"That happened during the game?! What the hell mom!?" Bernard exclaimed in disbelief.

"A lot of different things can happen to a person in any given lifetime with regards to fate! And thanks to me, you aren't dying any time soon-..." Alfana replied with an angry voice until she realized what she was saying before silently turning her head in the direction of her husband. "...I want to hold a vote." She said with a bothered tone.

"A vote?" Bernard said.

"This guild's leadership is a triumvirate, which means we all have a say, so let's have a vote. I don't want Bernard going on this mission by himself, so I demand to go along. If not me, somebody else like Camilla or Pietro." Alfana said as she raised her hand.

"...I need to clear this debt. I'm responsible for it... I'm going on the job and I'm going on it following the rules I was given by the royals." Bernard said as he raised his hand, prompting him and his mother to turn towards the guild master for the deciding vote.

"Oooooh, so that makes me the decider. How exciting." Master Barnum said with a smirk on his face. "Do I want my wife to have me sleep on the couch tonight or do I lose my son's respect after only just getting it back after all these years?" He said as he hopped out of his chair and walked around to stand closer to his son and wife.

"...Dad-" Bernard said with a bothered tone until Barnum spoke up.

"My brain is telling me to side with Alfana..." Master Barnum said as he glanced at his wife before turning towards Bernard. "But my gut is siding with my son." He said as Alfana made a serious expression. "...I'm standing with Bernard on this decision." Barnum said as Alfana stood up.

"...Fine then." Alfana said with a disgruntled tone as she walked away from the others, exiting out the room. "Barendkoff, don't fail my son..." She thought as Bernard was now alone with his dad.

"Now she's mad with me too..." Bernard commented as his father looked at him.

"Give them time. They both love you, so they have a right to be worried." Master Barnum said.

"I'm not okay with anyone worrying about me..." Bernard thought with a headshake. "Why did you side with me against mom?" He asked as his father smirked at him.

"Takes balls to want to take matters into your own hands for the amount you owe the kingdom. As your "predecessor" one day, I figured I'd give you a helping hand." Master Barnum said. "But for now, you and I have something to discuss." He continued as Bernard raised an eyebrow.

"That being?" Bernard said.

"You obviously can't give me more details on what this job entails, correct?" Master Barnum said with no smile on his face.

"...I'm never mentally prepared for when you act with a sense of seriousness." Bernard said as Master Barnum shook his head.

"I'd like to joke every waking minute of the day, but good humor has to have rest spots." Master Barnum said in an instructional tone. "Now, my question?" He said once more.

"I pretty much said all I'm allowed to. They gave me one week before I go back to the castle and then it's back in time by two years..." Bernard said.

"Hmmm, interesting..." Master Barnum said whilst rubbing his chin. "They gave you a full week to plan instead of just sending you back in time immediately. If they had sent you back in time then and there and you succeeded, we wouldn't even be having this conversation." He said. "By that logic, they must believe that the odds of his survival on the mission are moderately lower than desired." Barnum thought quietly as Bernard raised an eyebrow.

"They mentioned that they felt I needed some time for preparation. Which, frankly, is going to be a be bit harder with mom and Camilla now going to be spending the next week glaring at me." Bernard commented as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"And judging by the information you gave us; you have no ability to ask for backup in the form of any friends or family." Master Barnum said as Bernard nodded.

"Which means I have to rely on just my pets. I mean, I just got Flurry yesterday in town and I don't even know how useful he can be yet." Bernard said as he rubbed his eyes with his left hand.

"...Sounds like you need more." Master Barnum said with a smile slowly formed on his face.

"And I've been trying to-... What?" Bernard said as he noticed his father's expression. "...You've got that look of mischievousness you normally have written all over you..." He said with squinted eyes.

"...I think your mom is going to be even angrier with me than she is with you." Master Barnum said as he motioned for his son to follow him.

Walking past his son towards the doorway into his office, Bernard stood up and walked through, now standing outside the room. Raising a finger to imply Bernard needed to wait for a brief moment, Barnum shut the door in front of his son as the frame glowed briefly and a magic circle appeared on it. Scratching his face as the light dissipated, Bernard proceeded to open the door and was surprised by the sight before him.

"Huh?" Bernard muttered in confusion.

On the other side of the door was no longer Barnum's office but a large hallway with padded and cushioned walls and flooring with multiple white doors spanning as far as his eyes could see. Looking left and right with bewilderment for any sign of his father, Bernard proceeded to enter the cushioned corridor as the door behind him closed on its own, locking itself.

"Dad? What's this?" Bernard said to no response. "Okay, kind of spooky." He thought as he realized he was all alone. "...No other way to go but forward..." Bernard said aloud to himself as he walked through the hallway with each step on the cushiony floor.

With Bernard looking at the doors as he passed by them one by one, he looked with suspicion at the point of their existence or as to why the corridors were padded on every surface. Suddenly, a panel opened up in the ceiling as a green arrow with flashing lights lowered from the hole, pointing at one of the doors in the hallway as it opened slowly.

"Oh, that's not ominous..." Bernard commented as he walked forward and turned to look into the room.

Confused, Bernard looked inside to find a massive space that was cushioned like the hallway with a few platforms sticking out of the walls before turning his head to look at the arrow directing him to go in. Taking a deep breath, Bernard shook his head and proceeded to go inside with the door closing on its own behind him yet again.

"Okay... Now what?" Bernard thought as he looked around and put his hands in his pockets. "Hmm?" He muttered as he noticed a hole in the ceiling appeared yet again with something popping out. "More arrows?" Bernard said aloud to himself.

Appearing from the hole was a round object with a red arrow in the center of it and what appeared to be six yellow triangles with their tips pointed at each other on it, each with a different symbol within them and covered in lights that were off. On one triangle was the image of a mint green paw print, on another was an image of a black top hat with claw marks on its sides, another triangle had an image of a black chess piece with a yellow seahorse tail coming out of it, one had the image of a trio of disco balls that were red, green and blue on top of one another, one was an image of a dark green gemstone and the last image was a round golden cat bell with a three-pronged spear horizontally through it.

"Looks like a spin wheel..." Bernard said as he looked at the wheel. "A paw print, a hat, a bell with a trident through it, some stacked balls, a chess piece and a gem... The hell is my dad up to?" He thought as he rubbed his chin.

Suddenly, another panel in the ceiling opened up as a rope came out of it, the beanie sporting wizard looking at it with a raised eyebrow.

"So, is this connected to the spin wheel? What, am I supposed to pull this?" Bernard thought, assuming what the rope was for and if it was related to the spin wheel above the room. "Dad, I know you can hear me, and I just wanted to say; this is super lame." He said with a moderately loud voice, expecting his father to have heard it.

Stepping forward to be closer to the rope, Bernard looked around the padded room just to make sure no one was watching him before lifting his hand and grabbing a hold of the rope. Taking a deep breath, the pacemaker needing young man pulled slightly on the rope with his eyes transfixed on the spin wheel, expecting the arrow to start to turn but to his confusion, nothing happened.

"Huh?" Bernard muttered as he pulled lightly once more on the rope to activate the spinner, this time with both hands on it. "Oh, come on you little- ooh!" He said with a tone of annoyance as he applied more force to his pull until the rope snapped at the top, falling down to the ground. "Uhhh..." Bernard mumbled as he looked down at the detached rope.

Picking up the rope with both hands and now even more befuddled than he was previously, Bernard looked up as he noticed that the panel the rope emerged from had sealed itself and a panel in the floor opened up, a garbage can raising out of it that had a sticker on it that read "rope recycling." With an unamused expression on his face, Bernard picked up the rope on the ground and walked over to put it into the trash bin.

"Well... I guess I managed to clean something around here- huh?" Bernard thought until he suddenly noticed the sound of a button press as Bernard bent forward to look into the can and saw that the rope was atop a large pressure sensitive pad.

With a whirring noise starting to go off in the direction of the spin wheel, Bernard looked up at the device as the arrow started to move in a circular motion, passing each of the six triangles with each of the triangle's lights glowing when the arrow went over the individual space. With a look of unsureness forming on Bernard's face, the arrow begun to slow down.

"Looks like it's going to land on the chess piece..." Bernard thought to himself as he noticed the arrow was beginning to stop on a particular symbol.

As the arrow slowed down in the space for the chess piece with the yellow seahorse tail, the arrow suddenly started to spin again, moving with a speed that was causing the whole wheel to shake as if it was broken and malfunctioning. Stepping back somewhat, Bernard became worried about what was going to happen next as the spinning wheel stopped abruptly, landing on the cat bell with the trident.

"The hell was that? So, it's the bell now?" Bernard said in confusion to himself. "Maybe instead of chess, we're playing with toy bells now." He thought, still struggling to understand what his father was doing.

With the bell and trident selected, the room was suddenly filled with the sound of a fanfare that caught Bernard off-guard as the spin wheel proceeded to ascend into the ceiling with the panel closing. Rolling his eyes, Bernard stood in the center of the room with his index fingers in the air, spinning them around in a celebratorily sarcastic manner.

"Hooray for bells and tridents. Can I go now?" Bernard said aloud, still assuming his father could hear his voice. "...Huh?" He said until he noticed a magic circle had formed several feet away from him. "Dad, you really got to come up with better games because this one was just-" Bernard said with a critical tone until he was surprised by the figure materializing in front of him was someone other than his father.

Standing in front of Bernard was a woman that appeared to be his age or slightly older with a slender bodily shape with long purple hair flowing down her backside and interestingly, a set of cat ears on her head and a thin purple tail that matched her hair with her eyes closed. For her attire, she was dressed in a rather modest maid-like outfit that consisted of a dress that reached down to her ankles that was all purple except for the short and puffy sleeves, the area around her shapely breasts and the collared portion that was pure white. On her head was a white maid headband in-between her cat ears, on her arms were white gloves that reached all the way up to her short puffy dress sleeves that left a tiny bit of skin exposed, atop her breasts was a yellow cat bell connected to the white collar of her outfit and for footwear, she was wearing black slip-on heel shoes.

"...Eh?" Bernard said with a face of bewilderment as the woman opened her eyes and looked at the beanie sporting wizard. "...Who's this?" He thought as he raised an eyebrow as the woman raised her left hand.

Suddenly, a magic circle appeared as a long object materialized into her grip. Watching on, Bernard's eyes widened as the woman with cat-like features was now holding a spear-like weapon with a brown handle with the bladed part visually similar to a bladed trident and the other end, oddly, having the scrubber portion for a broom.

"Uh... Wh-what'cha got there?" Bernard questioned nervously towards the woman as her eyes lowered. "Was that a Requip?" He thought, recognizing the object summoning spell that was used.

Using her hand, the cat-like woman began to spin the trident-like weapon in a circular manner before proceeding to move it into her other hand in midmotion, showing off a considerable level of skill in using it. Striking a combat pose with the pointed end facing Bernard's direction, the quiet feline-like woman in a maid outfit proceeded to jump into the air as Bernard locked eyes with her.

"Gaah!" Bernard screamed out in surprise as he rolled to the side to make distance from the cat woman as she stabbed the ground where he originally stood. "What the hell was that for- guh?!" He shouted from the ground in shock as the woman turned her head in his direction, causing him to cut himself off midsentence. "Gotta get some help!" Bernard thought as he started to let loose some of his magical aura as he got back to his feet.

Using his power as a signal for some of his pets to emerge from his body, Bernard watched on as the cat-like woman pulled her trident out of the padded floor. To his confusion, however, Bernard noticed Corvus, Vulp or any of his other pets in fact had emerged to protect him.

"Huh?!" Bernard muttered in surprise as he put his hands on his body and noticed something was wrong. "Corvus?! Vulp!? Hello?!" He said as neither of his Celestial Spirits emerged from his pacemaker.

Taking the opportunity to attack him once again, the feline-like woman lunged at Bernard once more in an attempt to skewer him once again as Bernard took notice, responding by ducking with a squat. Crawling away from her, the woman reached down with one of her hands and yanked Bernard's beanie off of his head as Bernard scrambled to make some distance from her yet again.

"Hey, my hat-... What the?" Bernard said in annoyance from his beanie being removed from his head until he noticed something peculiar.

With the cat-like woman holding Bernard's beanie in her hand and her raising it slightly for him to get a better look, Bernard's eyes widened in shock as he noticed all of the pins in his beanie were missing. With the acknowledgement of Hoyabembe, Tavio and Flurry's pins not being there, Bernard looked down at his arm and noticed the lack of Baurs' bracelet on his wrist.

"Baurs' bracelet form isn't there!" Bernard thought with a nervous sweat forming on his face as he reached into his shirt to check the string around his neck and noticing Zaphkiel's coins and the damaged silver Celestial Spirit keys weren't there either. "Zaphkiel's gone too?! What about- oh no!" He thought as he let go of the string and turned his attention to his belt, noticing the trio of cat plushie servants in their shrunken form disappeared as well.

As the feline-like woman silently watched him examine his body for any of his companions, Bernard pulled on his shirt to look at his pacemaker as he noticed the particles that constituted Corvus and Vulp and the slime that formed into Formosa wasn't inside of him. With a grim expression forming on his face, Bernard realized he was all alone against the mysterious female with cat-like features as he focused his attention back towards her, her eyes shifting towards his beanie as she leaned her trident and broom combination weapon against her shoulder whilst examining it.

"Oh crap..." Bernard thought with fear building up inside him as the feline-like woman had his beanie in one of her gloved hands and proceeded to look around on the inside of the hat, her attention drawn to a slight tear around one of the edges of the beanie. "St-stop messing around with my hat!" He said with an agitated voice, attempting to hide his scared state as the cat-like woman shifted her eyes towards him.

With a deep breath that almost seemed bothered by his request, the maid dressed woman tossed Bernard's beanie over to him with the pacemaker needing wizard catching it before the feline-like woman grabbed her trident and broom combination weapon and held it in a confrontational pose once more. Motioning for Bernard to look upward by moving her head slightly in that direction, Bernard placed his beanie back on as he shifted his attention and noticed something sticking out of the ceiling through an open panel like the spin wheel from before.

"What the heck...?" Bernard said aloud in a confused voice.

Above the two of them was a clock that appeared to have had a timer set for two minutes that was now currently at one minute and thirty-eight seconds. Shifting his attention towards the woman, she proceeded to jump into the air yet again in effort to strike Bernard with her weapon as Bernard readied himself to move.

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" Bernard shouted in a defensive tone as he jumped to the side, her stabbing the padded floor once more. "Can't we talk about this?!" He requested from the ground as the woman looked at him with an unphased expression on her face, towering over him after standing back up. "I don't think I'm going to make it to the time travel mission!" Bernard thought to himself with fear setting in.

I don't know what you're crying about Bernard, I wouldn't mind a spear wielding woman dressed like a maid with cat ears and a tail attempting to impale me... Then again, I'm one hundred percent voice box and zero percent stab-able limbs so I'm not complaining like you, you big baby. Bernard was forced to tell his parents by Camilla about his mission with the royal family: TO MOTHERFUCKING TIME TRAVEL! With Camilla and Alfana both in agreeance that Bernard having to go on his own back in time to figure out a way to bring Future Rogue Cheney's magic back to the present to get his Dragon Supremacy Magic is a problem and he should bring along members of the guild with him on the job, Bernard has remained adamant to follow the rules given to him by the royals, much to their frustration. Whereas his father, on the other hand, has sided with Bernard to allow him to do the job on his own... But first, we must figure out a few things: what the hell is with this overly cushiony hallway and room he summoned and forced Bernard to step into? Where is Bernard's pets with even Corvus and Vulp disappearing from the inside of his pacemaker? And most importantly, who is the pretty cat maid lady who is trying to stab our handicapped hero? God, I hope we get an answer next time on Menagerie II because if there's no answer, I'm going to eat cheese whiz till I keel over and die!

Author's Note: (I love how no one from the last chapter reviews figured out my thought process lol)
