Chapter 9: Date Night
Nate went to see his parents Jamie and Barnabas and his siblings Moon, Dash, Lexi, Mia, and Jess.
"Hi guys." Nate said.
"Hi son, how are you doing?" Jamie asked her son.
" I plan to take Belle on a romantic date this afternoon." Nate said
"I am so proud of you son. Our son finally going on a date." Barnabas said.
" That's our brother." Moon said.
"Thanks guys for your support." Nate said to his family.
" Anytime son. Now go pickup your date." Jamie said.
"See you guys." Nate said.
"See you brother." Dash said.
Nate exits the hollow and go to Belle's family hollow.
"Hi Banjo, Grace, Blu, Jewel, Bia, Carla, Tiago, Crystal, Junior, Max, and Alex." Nate greeted the family.
"Hello Nate, are you ready to pickup Belle?" Grace asked him.
"Yes I am Grace." Nate said.
"Belle. Nate is here." Grace said.
Belle exits her nest.
"Hi Belle, are you ready to go?" Nate greeted her.
"Yes." Belle said.
"Have fun you two. Nate remember keep my daughter safe from any possible danger or I will do something if you don't keep her safe." Banjo said.
"Dad." Belle said.
" What I know you are a grown girl but you are still my daughter. As your father, I want to make sure Nate keep you safe." Banjo said.
"Banjo. Nate is a gentleman and he loves her." Grace said.
"Yeah stop being an overprotective father." Jewel said.
Alex the Scarlet macaw agreed with the girls.
"What Jewel and Grace said. Nate is a good boyfriend for Belle and they love each other." Alex said.
"Even though Belle is growing up. Nate will protect her of all costs." Blu said.
" You're right. I am overprotective. Have fun you two." Banjo said.
Nate and Belle went on their date which their have grapes.
"I love you so much Belle." Nate said.
"I love you too." Belle said.
"Ah the Amazon is a good home for all birds and different animals." Nate said.
"Yes, my mom decides to come to the Amazon to find our kind and we did." Belle said.
"What you like to do?" Nate asked his girlfriend.
"I like to read books, explore different insects, and animals. What about you?" Belle said.
"I like to read and do insects as well." Nate said.
"Wow we both have something in common. My dad and my uncle likes the same thing." Belle said.
"That was your dad and uncle that saved the Amazon from the loggers." Nate said.
"Yes they are the heroes." Belle said.
"Awesome." Nate said.
Nate and Belle shared a passionate kiss.
"Let's watch the sunset together." Nate said.
"Agreed." Belle said. She and Nate hugged each other and watch the sunset.
