Last time, Bella, Azuma, and Seth met up in the Volcano Area of the Action Field, where the two You Show Duelists tried to get the lone Xyz User to cooperate with them both. However, as they tried to get her to open up to the idea, they met up with Qing, who surrendered her duel against Viola, much to the surprise of many. Even more so as she offered herself to the Fusion Duelist in exchange for their safety. As Viola promised she would cause no harm to Qing's friends upon her cooperation, members of the Obelisk Force arrived and prepared themselves for a duel against Qing's friends, much to the all-rounder duelist's horror. Thankfully, Junes and Hades appeared, and gave Qing and the others the chance to escape.

And now? The two Standard Duelists were facing off against the three Obelisk Force and Viola. All four Fusion Duelists who found their change in preys entertaining than they did feeling any sort of irritation in the change. Viola, especially, since her target had run off.

"You fools really think you have a chance against us? Please. Your kind of this dimension are even lower than those rodents of the Xyz Dimension," Viola mocked.

Junes glared at her when she made such statement. "How dare you say that while having her face," he said. "Sir Hades. Leave the three soldiers to me. You handle the Qing lookalike!"

"You sure about that? Frankly, after I had to save you last time, I am starting to think you should've gone with them," Hades stated.

Junes looked back at him at the statement. "I am positive! I will not falter like I did before."

Hades glanced at him for a moment, almost wondering if he spoke the truth. However, despite the determination he was seeing in the gaze, he also noticed the boy's eyes wavering. More than likely, he did not have as much confidence as he claimed in taking three of those soldiers on.

Still, who was he to say otherwise?

"I'm not going to save your butt again. Nor will I be able to," he warned.

"Being saved twice by the same person will stain my pride as a knight!" Junes stated. A statement that got his opponent's chuckling.

"Listen to this guy, still acting tough," Obelisk Duelist Yellow said.

"You even admitted that you had to be saved once before. You really think you can do anything on your own against the three of us?" Obelisk Duelist Green questioned.

"Just get out of the way, boy. And maybe we will spare your pitiful pride," Obelisk Duelist Red offered, a hint of mockery in his tone.

Junes gritted his teeth at their mocking tone, though could not say anything to argue against their claim. "If you villains have time to chat, how about you put those words into your dueling skills?!"

The three Obelisk duelists only smirked at the challenge and activated their duel disks.

"DUEL!"

Junes: 4000 LP
Obelisk Duelist Yellow: 4000 LP
Obelisk Duelist Green: 4000 LP
Obelisk Duelist Red: 4000 LP

"I will start!" Junes claimed, taking a card from his hand. "From my hand, I summon Swift Chronicle Knight!" Appearing on his field was none a lean knight in light armor, having some gears on his leg armor.

Swift Chronicle Knight: Level 5/LIGHT/Warrior/2100 ATK/1200 DEF

(Swift Chronicle Knight: Effect Monster: You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. If you do, this card's Level becomes 3, and its ATK and DEF are halved.)

"This knight may be a Level 5, but he can still be Normal Summoned without releasing a monster. In doing so, however, his ATK and DEF are halved," Junes explained.

Swift Chronicle Knight: 2100 / 2 = 1050 ATK/1200 / 2 = 600 DEF

Obelisk Green snickered when they saw the monster shrink with its own strength. "You have this chance to summon out a monster, and you waste it on a weaker monster?" he mocked.

"The likes of you really is nothing compared to us," Obelisk Yellow said.

"That overconfidence will soon be your downfall!" Junes promised, taking another card from his hand. "When I have another 'Chronicle Knight' monster on the field, I Special Summon Squire Chronicle Knight!" At his words, a squire different from Discover Chronicle Knight appeared on the field.

Squire Chronicle Knight: Level 2/LIGHT/Warrior/500 ATK/700 DEF

(Squire Chronicle Knight: Effect Monster: If you control a 'Chronicle Knight' monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Special Summoned this way, you can add 1 'Chronicle Knight' monster from your Deck to your hand whose Level is the same as 1 'Chronicle Knight' monster you control aside from this card.)

"And with him Special Summoned by his own effect, I activate his second effect! Adding one 'Chronicle Knight' monster from my deck to my hand whose Level is the same as the level of a 'Chronicle Knight' monster I control aside from him! With this effect, I add Defensive Chronicle Knight!"

(Defensive Chronicle Knight: Effect Monster: Once per turn, if you were to take Battle Damage between a 'Chronicle Knight' monster you control and your opponent's monster while this card is in your hand, you may discard this card to negate the damage. If this card is sent to the Graveyard as a Ritual Material to summon a Level 7 or higher 'Chronicle Knight' Ritual Monster, you may Special Summon one 'Guardian Chronicle Knight' from your deck to your field in Defense Mode)

Watching him play his cards did nothing to impress any of the Obelisks. If anything, they found it funny, how much he struggles to play his hand. "Yeah, yeah, just hurry it up over there, will you?" Obelisk Red said.

"We have bigger prize to get to, kid. So how about you just end your turn already?" Obelisk Yellow mocked.

"Oh, I'll end my turn, alright. After this! I activate the Continuous Magic, Chronicle Reinforced Boost! And follow it up with the Ritual Magic, Chronicular Ritual! With this, I release monsters in my hand and on my field to Ritual Summon a 'Chronicle Knight' Ritual Monster! The monsters I will be releasing are the two knights on my field and Defensive Chronicle Knight!" At his words, the area around him turned dark, and both Junes's knights and the one card in his hand burst into flames, and a flowerbed appeared before him, where the flames struck. "Honorable knight of justice. Correct the broken time and descend now! RITUAL SUMMON! Level 8, Holy Queen of Chronicle Knight!" As the flowers bloomed and the flames turned into a fiery tornado, Junes's ace monster appeared on the field from within the flames.

Holy Queen of Chronicle Knight: Level 8/LIGHT/Warrior/2800 ATK/2400 DEF

"And now I activate more card effects! From Chronicle Reinforced Boost, I draw a card from Holy Queen's summon, and she gains 300 ATK and DEF for each 'Chronicle Knight' monster used for her summon!" At Junes's claim, the gears on his monster's sword turned, as she felt power rise within her.

Holy Queen of Chronicle Knight: 2800 + 900 = 3700 ATK/2400 + 900 = 3300 DEF

"And lastly, Defensive Chronicle Knight's effect! If he is sent to the Graveyard for the summon of a Level 7 or higher 'Chronicle Knight' Ritual Monster, I can Special Summon 'Guardian Chronicle Knight' from my deck to my field!" As those words left Junes's mouth, a card ejected out of his deck, and he summoned out a buff knight in heavy armor onto the field in Defense Mode.

Guardian Chronicle Knight: Level 6/LIGHT/Warrior/1300 ATK/2500 DEF

(Guardian Chronicle Knight: Effect Monster: If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a 'Chronicle Knight' monster, once per turn, this monster cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of 'Defensive Chronicle Knight', this card cannot be destroyed by card effects.)

"I set one card face-down and end my turn! Now come at me!" Junes challenged.

Despite the challenge, the three Obelisk duelists were not fazed in the slightest.

"Hahaha! You really think that sort of play means anything?" Obelisk Green questioned.

"How naive you are. My turn! Draw!" Obelisk Yellow drew his sixth card.

The smirk on his face seemed to have grown when he saw the card he drew. "I summon Antique Gear Hound Dog!" He instantly placed the card he drew on his duel disk, summoning out his mechanic hound.

Antique Gear Hound Dog: Level 3/EARTH/Machine/1000 ATK/1000 DEF

"And now I activate his effect! Once per turn, if the opponent controls a monster, they take 600 points of damage! Hound Flame!" At his call, Hound Dog breathed flames out at Junes, prompting the knight to raise his arms up to protect himself.

Junes: 3400 LP
Obelisk Duelist Yellow: 4000 LP
Obelisk Duelist Green: 4000 LP
Obelisk Duelist Red: 4000 LP

"Even though I have a strong monster on my field..." he grimaced. "Still, it's only 600 points of damage. This much is nothing!"

"We would like to hear you say that again. From my hand I equip Antique Gear Hound Dog with the Equip magic, Antique Gear Tank! This card raises Hound Dog's ATK by 600!" As he said that, a sturdy vehicle of sort appeared, in which the beast-like monster rode on.

Antique Gear Hound Dog: 1000 + 600 = 1600 ATK

"I set two cards face-down and end my turn!"

"My turn. Draw." Obelisk Duelist Green drew his sixth card. "I activate the Continuous Magic, Antique Gear Castle! With this card, all 'Antique Gear' monsters on the field gain 300 ATK!" As he said that, a castle of some sort formed behind the Obelisk group, and Hound Dog felt a boost in power.

Antique Gear Hound Dog: 1600 + 300 = 1900 ATK

"Furthermore, each time a monster is Normal Summoned or Set, this card gains a counter."

Junes became confused at that. "What's a counter supposed to do?"

"How about you see if you can live long enough to tell?" Green challenged in mockery, ticking the 'Chronicle Knight' duelist off. "And now I summon Antique Gear Hound Dog!"

Junes's eyes widened at those words, as another Antique Gear Hound Dog appeared on the field. "Another one of those?!"

Antique Gear Hound Dog: Level 3/EARTH/Machine/1000 + 300 = 1300 ATK/1000 DEF

"You know what this dog does. Since you control a monster on your field, take 600 points of damage! Hound Flame!" At Green's declaration, his monster breathed out his own flames at Junes.

Junes: 2800 LP
Obelisk Duelist Yellow: 4000 LP
Obelisk Duelist Green: 4000 LP
Obelisk Duelist Red: 4000 LP

"And with his summon, not only does he gain a boost, my castle gains a counter." As he said that, a gear appeared and was ejected into his castle. "And now I activate the Magic Card, Fusion!" Green continued, surprising Junes.

"So you can use Fusion as well?!" he gasped out, in which Green smirked at.

"Heh. You already faced some of us before, and you didn't realize that? With this card, I fuse my Hound Dog on the field with the Hound Dog in my hand! Mechanical hounds who carry on the ancient spirits, flock together and become one with new power! FUSION SUMMON! Level 5! Antique Gear Double Bite Hound Dog!" As another copy of the robotic dog appeared on the field, it fused with Green's Hound Dog, and thus summoned out a two-headed version of the beast machine.

Antique Gear Double Bite Hound Dog: Level 5/EARTH/Machine/1400 + 300 = 1700 ATK/1000 DEF

Junes grew confused, seeing that monster on the field. It may be a Fusion monster, but no matter how he looked at it, it was not anything special. Not with ATK that low.

"I set one card face-down and end my turn," Green ended, confusing Junes even more.

'Just like that? Why did he even summon out that monster?' he wondered.

"My turn. Draw!" Obelisk Red drew his sixth card. "I activate the magic card, Graceful Charity! With this card, I draw 3 cards and discard 2 cards." As he drew his three cards, his smirk widened as he revealed one of the three he drew. "Do you remember this card?"

Junes flinched at the sight of it. "Another Hound Dog?!"

As he said, one of the three cards Red happened to have drawn was none other than Antique Gear Hound Dog. "Oh, but don't worry. I won't be summoning this one out just yet. It'd be too pitiful otherwise," he said, as he sent it and one other card to the Graveyard, to Junes's confusion. "However, he is soon to return! Magic card, Crazy Summon Gear, activate!" As he said that, he took another card in his hand and activated it. "With this card I select a monster my opponent controls, and a monster in my Graveyard with 1500 or less ATK. My opponent must Special Summon up to 2 monsters from their deck with the same type and level as their selected monster, while I Special Summon my selected monster and all others with the same name from my hand, deck, or Graveyard. And the monster I select are your Guardian and my Hound Dog!"

Though Junes flinched at the declaration, he soon calmed down. "So you say. However, all you did was give me more defense. Come, Fearless Chronicle Knight, Iron Fist Chronicle Knight!" he reminded, as he summoned out two more 'Chronicle Knights' from his deck. One was a masked, slightly buff knight with a chainsaw as a weapon, gears imbedded into it, and the other was a heavy armor knight that seemed more like a golem, with gears implanted into its gauntlets.

Fearless Chronicle Knight: Level 6/LIGHT/Warrior/2000 ATK/2000 DEF

Iron Fist Chronicle Knight: Level 6/LIGHT/Warrior/2400 ATK/2400 DEF

(Fearless Chronicle Knight: Effect Monster: If this card battles a non-Ritual Monster while you control a Ritual Monster, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is to be destroyed by card effect, until the end of this turn, you may reduce this card's ATK or DEF to half its original and negate the destruction. This effect can be used twice per turn.)

(Iron Fist Chronicle Knight: Effect Monster: If this card battles a monster while you control a Ritual Monster, that monster's effects is negated.)

"Did you already forget what I am to summon out? Or is it the effect you have forgotten?" Red sarcastically asked, as a Hound Dog appeared on his field from the Graveyard, and two more appeared from his deck, to Junes's horror.

3x Antique Gear Hound Dog: Level 3/EARTH/Machine/1000 + 300 = 1300 ATK/1000 DEF

"Then again, it may be that you have misunderstood something," Red continued. "It's true that Hound Dog's effect is once per turn. However, who was it that said only one of these dog's effects can be activated per turn?!"

Junes's eyes widened at those words. "It isn't?!"

All three Obelisk Duelists chuckled at the question, as Red continued his turn. "Go, Hound Dog! Reduce his Life Points further! Hound Flame!" At his command, all three of his mechanical beasts bypassed Junes's monsters and scorched him and his Life Points further, prompting him to let out a scream in pain from the damage dealt.

Junes: 1000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Yellow: 4000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Green: 4000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Red: 4000 LP

How the Obelisks all laughed at the sight of his low Life Points. "Only 1000 left, and you still have all those monsters compared to ours," Yellow mocked.

"Your monsters may be stronger, but your skills are truly terrible. No wonder why you needed help against our allies the last time," Red stated.

"Too bad no one is helping you this time," Green said. "Oh, and by the way, because monsters were summoned on your field, Antique Gear Double Bite Hound Dog's effect activates!"

Junes shakily got up from the damage, looking at the green-gemmed Obelisk in stupor. "Its effect?"

"Once per turn, if monsters are summoned to my opponent's field, they gain a Gear Counter," he explained, as a pair of gears were shot out of Double Bite and struck the newly summoned monsters. "I'd be extra careful of fighting with those monsters if I were you."

"And why is that?" Junes challenged.

"Why don't we find out? Continuous Magic, Antique Armageddon Gear!" Red continued, playing the card he drew from Graceful Charity, as what seemed to be a multitude of cannons appeared on the field. "While this card is on the field, whenever a monster is destroyed, the controller takes damage equal to their destroyed monster's ATK!"

The effect confused Junes. "Why play that? Unless if you're going to summon something stronger than those dogs, once my turn comes-"

"You won't be getting a turn, prey." How Junes became terrified by that strong claim. "The moment I used Crazy Summon Gear is the moment you had lost! Battle! I attack Fearless Chronicle Knight with Antique Gear Hound Dog!"

To Junes's rising confusion, one of Red's hounds rushed at the declared attack target. "Are you crazy?! You'll lose your monster and a good chunk of your Life Points!"

"The real stupid one is you," Red declared. "If that set card is anything that could've helped you, you should've used that before I declared battle."

"When a monster with a Gear Counter battles, that monster is instantly destroyed!" Green explained, to Junes's horror.

"What did you say?!"

"Yeah. And when our Hound Dog attacks, the opponent cannot activate any of their Magic or Trap cards!" Yellow finished, prompting Junes's eyes to widen in realization.

The 'Chronicle Knight' Duelist grimaced as Hound Dog inched close to Fearless. An expression that soon turned into a smirk. "You say I'm stupid, but it looks like you really are the stupid ones," he claimed, irking the Obelisks.

"What was that?" Red demanded.

"There is a reason why Fearless Chronicle Knight is called that way. I activate his monster effect! Twice per turn, when he is to be destroyed by card effect, I can halve his ATK or DEF to half their original amount and negate the destruction!"

This time, it was the Obelisk Duelists who were shocked by the turnaround. "What was that?!" Yellow gasped.

The gear forced into Fearless turned at such force, but the monster itself endured the pain and countered against Hound Dog. Fearless pushed the machinery back, and jabbed its chainsaw straight into the beast, destroying it.

Fearless Chronicle Knight: 2000 / 2 = 1000 DEF

Junes: 1000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Yellow: 4000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Green: 4000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Red: 3300 LP

Next thing that happened, Red's Continuous Magic activated, as it fired multiple cannon shots... Right at the owner. "Gah!"

Junes: 1000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Yellow: 4000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Green: 4000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Red: 2000 LP

"Oh, yeah. Now that I think about it, your card effect also activates when your own monster is destroyed, doesn't it? You sure you want to attack again?" Junes challenged.

Recovering from the damage he sustained from his own card, Red glared at him. "What did you say?!"

"Relax. That guy can only use that effect twice per turn and needs to halve his own monster's power to use it," Green reminded him.

"Yeah, and by the looks of it, he can't use it on the same stat twice," Yellow observed.

A smirk returned to Red's face. "Then I will thoroughly enjoy this next attack. Go! Hound Dog!" At his command, his mechanical hound rushed at Junes's monster again.

The knight took off running right then, deciding now was a good time to search for an Action Card. "With Fearless's effect, his ATK is halved now, and he won't be destroyed by the Gear Counter!"

Once again enduring the pain, Fearless had become weaker as his strength left him, and he blocked the hound's attack.

"Even so, with his ATK is lower compared to my Hound Dog. Once he's destroyed, not only do you take Battle Damage, you can just say good-bye to your Life Points!" Red continued, as he watched the two monsters battle.

"Perhaps, if it was any monster but Fearless," Junes retorted, confusing his opponents. "When Fearless battles an opponent's monster, if that monster is not a Ritual Monster, and I control a Ritual Monster, he cannot be destroyed by battle!"

"What?!" Red gasped, as his Hound Dog turned out to be losing its edge against Fearless, who pushed the dog-like monster off of him, and turned his chainsaw on to keep the mechanical mutt away from him.

Junes: 700 LP

Obelisk Duelist Yellow: 4000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Green: 4000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Red: 2000 LP

Seeing one of their own get played by a 'prey' so easily infuriated the other two Obelisk Duelists. "Hey! What the heck are you doing?!" Yellow demanded.

"Are you trying to make a fool out of us Obelisk Force?! Get your head back together!" Green scolded.

Just as mad as they are about how his actions are backfiring so easily, Red turned to them in rage. "Shut up! Like you two know!" he exclaimed, before turning back to the duel. "Still, that is the last time we will be seeing that effect. Now go, my third Hound!" At his command, Red's remaining monster rushed at Fearless again. "And don't forget, when he attacks, your Magic and Trap cards can't activate!"

As he claimed such, Junes just happened to have found an Action Card on the ground behind a rock and picked it up, just in time for the gear in the weakened Fearless to finally do what it should have and destroyed it just before Hound Dog's attack can connect.

"And now with that monster finally destroyed from the Gear Counter, your Life Points are as good as gone!" Red eagerly claimed, as his Magic Card's effect activated and shot out cannon fires at the knight duelist.

"I may not be able to activate Action Cards during the battle against your Hound Dog, but it's fine after the battle!" Junes stated, inserting the card he picked up. "Action Magic, Flame Guard! This card negates effect damage!" As soon as he said that, flames suddenly appeared and blocked Antique Armageddon Gear's effect, protecting his Life Points.

Obelisk Red gritted his teeth at the last defense. "You cheeky brat. But that's fine. There is still another turn. I set two cards face-down and end my turn!"

"In that case, it is my turn! Draw!" Junes drew his next card.

"Continuous Trap, Fusion Trench, activate!" Red instantly intervened, activating one of his two set cards. "With this card's effect, only Fusion Monsters are able to attack!" Upon his declaration, force fields appeared before each of Junes's monsters, preventing them from attacking. "Heh. How do you like that? No matter what powerful monster you summon out, it is hopeless when you can't even attack with it."

"From what we heard, the duelists in this dimension rarely are able to do any Fusion Summon. And since you Ritual Summoned, there is no way you could be a Fusion User like we are," Green stated.

Junes's eyes were shadowed under his bangs, as he took in a breath. "True, I don't have a Fusion Monster in this deck. But that does not mean I can't fight! Magic Card, Preparation of Rites! With this card, I can add a Level 7 or lower Ritual Monster from my deck to my hand, and then a Ritual Magic card from my Graveyard to my hand! From my deck, I add Undine Chronicle Knight, and add Chronicular Ritual back to my hand! And activate it! With this card, I can Ritual Summon Undine Chronicle Knight in my hand with the monsters on my field! The only monster I choose to use for her summon, is Guardian! Honorable knight of justice. Undo the broken time and descend now! RITUAL SUMMON! Level 6! Undine Chronicle Knight!"

As he made such declarations and plays, his one defensive monster was used as a sacrifice to summon out his next Ritual Monster. That being a knight in light sky blue armor with gears imbued into them, complete with a rapier in hand. The blade shaped similar to the second hand on a clock.

Undine Chronicle Knight: Level 6/LIGHT/Warrior/2400 ATK/2000 DEF

(Undine Chronicle Knight: Ritual Monster: You can Ritual Summon this card with any 'Chronicle' Ritual Spell Card. Must be Ritual Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by any other way. When this card is Ritual Summoned using only 1 'Chronicle Knight' monster, all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls have their effects negated this turn, and set cards your opponent controls cannot activate their effects until the end of this turn.)

One sight of the monster got the Obelisk Force laughing.

"Hahaha! You really think a monster like that is of any threat to us? You even just admitted that you don't have a single Fusion Monster. What can that one do for you when you can't attack?" Red taunted.

"On the contrary, having her on the field changes everything," Junes claimed. "First, with Undine's summon, I draw a card from Chronicle Reinforced Boost, and she gains 300 ATK and DEF!" As he drew another card from his deck, his newly summoned monster gained a little more strength.

Undine Chronicle Knight: 2400 + 300 = 2700 ATK/2000 + 300 = 2300 DEF

"If Undine is Ritual Summoned using only one 'Chronicle Knight' monster, all Magic and Trap cards my opponent controls are negated!"

The last part baffled the Obelisk Force. "Our cards are negated?!" Green gasped.

"Now, Undine. Put those cards at rest! Blind Rewind!" At Junes's command, Undine placed her sword in front of her and gave it a little spin counterclockwise. An image of a clock appeared before her as she did so, with the time rotating backwards. The image flashed in bright light, prompting many to shield their eyes, as the three Fusion Duelists' Magic and Trap Cards get reset onto the field. Even the Equip Magic that was on Yellow's Hound Dog detached itself from the Machine-type Monster, and reset itself on the field.

2x Antique Gear Hound Dog: 1300 - 300 = 1000 ATK

Antique Gear Double Bite Hound Dog: 1700 - 300 = 1400 ATK

"Why you...! Trap Card, open!" Red exclaimed, trying to activate his other set card, only for it to not flip.

"On her summon, Undine also prevents the opponent's Magic and Trap cards from activating," Junes explained, as the light finally died down.

"Don't get cheeky, you prey! Because you summoned a monster, Double Bite Hound Dog is putting a Gear Counter on it!" Green exclaimed, as his Fusion Monster shot one of its gears at the newly summoned monster.

"That's just fine. Battle! Holy Queen, attack the first Antique Gear Hound Dog! Queen's Luminous!" At his attack declaration, Junes's monster rushed at the first summoned Hound Dog with her blade glowing. "And at this time, her effect activates! When she attacks, all 'Chronicle Knight' monsters I control gain the ATK she has gained, including herself. Queen's Aegis!" Holy Queen paused in her charge momentarily, shooting some sort of light in the air that burst into light particles, granting more strength to herself and her allies, before resuming her charge.

Holy Queen Chronicle Knight: 3700 + 900 = 4600 ATK

Iron Fist Chronicle Knight: 2400 + 900 = 3300 ATK

Undine Chronicle Knight: 2400 + 900 = 3300 ATK

With no cards to play that could stop the attack, the Obelisk Force could only watch as Junes's ace Ritual Monster cut the boosted Hound Dog in two.

Junes: 700 LP

Obelisk Duelist Green: 4000 LP

Obelisk Duelist Red: 2000 LP

"You're lucky Undine's effect also affected that magic card. You could've lost easily otherwise," Junes pointed out then, raising more of their ire.

"You may have bested my monster, but so what?! That means nothing since you can only attack with one monster! Now end your-"

"Next is Iron Fist!" Junes interrupted Obelisk Yellow. "Attack Double Bite! Absolute Punch!" Upon declaration, his golem-like knight charged at the two-headed Fusion Monster. One look at that, and the anger the Obelisks once had for him turned into amusement.

"Hah! What foolishness! It seems someone has already forgotten what happens when he battles with a monster that has a Gear Counter," Yellow mocked.

"You may not take damage from your monster's destruction, but any monster with a Gear Counter battling another monster is destroyed!" Green reminded.

"Only because of Double Bite's effect, right?" Junes asked, his smile not leaving his face, to their slight ire. "However, when Iron Fist Chronicle Knight battles an opponent's monster while I control a Ritual Monster, that monster's effect is negated!"

He explanation of the effect shocked the Obelisk Force then. "What?!" Green gasped out.

Once it was within range, Iron Fist pulled back its fist, the wrist portion of its gears turning, powering up the limb. Throwing the fist forward, the attack struck home, crushing the two-headed monster, and destroyed it.

"So long as that monster is out, those Gear Counters are a real danger, aren't they? But with it gone, it's a different story! Undine, clear the field and attack the last Hound Dog! Serene Slash!" Brandishing her rapier, Undine did as commanded and rushed at the final 'Antique Gear' monster, jabbing her weapon straight through it with much grace. The mechanical dog was destroyed in an explosion, the force effectively pushing Red off his feet, and knocked him unconscious.

Obelisk Duelist Green: 2100 LP

Obelisk Duelist Red: 0000 LP

The two remaining Obelisk Duelists could not believe one of their own was beaten by someone they had viewed as a prey. Something that should not be possible to an elite squad like then.

"I'm not done yet!" Junes called, regaining their attention. "Instant Magic, Reworked Chronicle! With this card's effect, I can return a 'Chronicle Knight' Ritual Monster on the field to my hand, and Special Summon out monsters in my Graveyard back onto my field up to the number of materials used for that monster's summon, with their combined levels being less than or equal to the returned monster's. With this card's effect, I will bring Holy Queen back to my hand, and summon out Swift and Squire!" As he activates his set card, Holy Queen's weapon glowed, as an image of a clock appeared behind her. Like with Undine, the time turned backwards on the clock, only this time, Holy Queen's body became enflamed in white flames, and was split in two. Both fires took shape, and turned into Swift Chronicle Knight and Squire Chronicle Knight.

Swift Chronicle Knight: Level 5/LIGHT/Warrior/2100 ATK/1200 DEF

Squire Chronicle Knight: Level 2/LIGHT/Warrior/500 ATK/700 DEF

How both remaining Obelisks' eyes widened in stupor at the sight of the monsters. Both that could end them in an instant. And with their set cards not able to be activated, and no monsters protecting them...

"Now Swift, Squire. Finish this!" Junes declared, having both his monsters charge at the two Fusion Duelists. Both taking down the pair in one fell swoop.

WINNER: JUNES

As soon as the duel ended, with all three of the Obelisk Force knocked out, Junes let out a sigh in relief. "Whew. I somehow managed to win that. Good thing I managed to draw the cards I needed," he said.

"AAAAHHHHH!" Junes jumped when he heard that scream. Turning to the source, he was horrified to find Hades sent flying, tumbling onto the ground, as his Life Points...

Reduced to 0, as the holograms faded away.

Viola cackled out a laugh as she approached the fallen Duelist. "Hahahahahah! You truly are a fool," she mocked. "It truly was amusing, watching you defy fate, only to still fall to it."

Hades struggled to get up as he glared at the 'Digimon' Duelist. "You... You monster..." he uttered out.

Viola took no offense to that, as she simply shrugged at the claim. "'Monster'? Surely, to weaklings like yourself, you should've known better than to realize that now. And after that girl tried so hard to warn you? It is your own fault for not heeding to her warnings."

Hades gritted his teeth as he watched her lazily bring her duel disk up. He then noticed from the corner of his eyes, Junes watching the scene. Already done with the trio of opponents on his side. "Kid... Run," he spoke, getting the young knight's attention. "RUN! GET AWAY FROM HERE NOW!"

"Wha-?! N-No! I can't leave you!" Junes exclaimed weakly.

"You have to! Qing was right, this girl is far too powerful! Dueling her is worse than-"

He did not get the chance to finish his warning, as Viola pressed a button on her duel disk, prompting it to light up. Once the light died down, Hades was gone.

"Oh, you are far too kind, weakling. Of course I am powerful," she said, as a card ejected out of her duel disk. She lazily took it out and flicked it towards Junes.

Once it landed on the ground before him, the 'Chronicle Knight' duelist was left speechless when he saw Hades on the card. How his eyes widened in shock at this sight. To see a strong duelist like Hades... Get turned into a card. He heard chuckles, and looked up to see Viola looking at him in much glee.

"Now then, it is your turn, I believe," she said. "Come on. Activate that duel disk, and let's duel~"

Junes was horrified by the sight. As much as he wanted to duel this Qing-lookalike, get revenge for Hades, he also couldn't get his and Qing's warnings out of his head. Most especially, given how Hades had lost.

Reluctantly, instead of dueling, Junes turned tails and ran from the Fusion Duelist.

"Oh? You're not going to duel me? Well, that's boring," Viola stated in disappointment. A smirk found its way back to her face, though, as she raised a hand to her duel disk once more. "Too bad, though. If only running away can solve your problems." As she was about to press a button on her disk, she winced in slight pain, and raised a hand to her head. "Gh... Damn it. That time, already?" she questioned. "Well, it's fine. It's not like I'm in any rush to get her anyway. I will see you around, Standard Me."

With that, she hit something else on her duel disk, and she was teleported away.
