God children au

I've seen a lot of god AUs but what about children of gods AU? anyways, here my god au with a parent twist. like most of my AUs for this group, there's a LOT of ocs. also the chapters are definitely going to be quite short at first. they might get longer.

5. light in a dark school

an adult songbird critter in about his late twenties used his broom to brush away some dirt on the floor. he was a light-ish faded blue songbird critter with his chest, stomach, chin and upper lip a grayish-ish faded yellow. he wore a dark blue jumpsuit and black sneakers.

he sighed. he was standing in a school hallway devoid of people, a tray of cleaning supplies next to him.

the songbird critter froze when he heard a door opening and closing echoed through the halls.

he stopped what he was doing, putting down the broom before heading in the direction of the sound.

his footsteps echoed through the halls as he heard the smallest whimpering in place of the original sound, confusing him even more.

when the front doors of the school came into his view, he was shocked to find a nervous toddler holding a piece of paper in his hoof standing in the middle of the dark hallway. he was a sky blue forest elephant critter with his hooves, the inside of his ears and the fluff on the end of his tail cobalt blue. he wore an oversized lemon yellow t-shirt.

the songbird critter watched as the elephant critter flicked his wrist, creating a tiny ball of light in his hoof. as he did so, buttermilk yellow stripes appeared on his arms, legs and trunk.

the stripes just as quickly disappeared as they had appeared.

"hello? mwstwr Shwne?" the elephant critter called out.

the songbird critter, Shine came out from behind the wall into the elephant critter view.

"mwstwer Shwne? my papa has a lwttwr for you" the elephant critter spoke, holding out the hoof holding the paper.

"is your papa a blue elephant critter with yellow stripes?" Shine asked as he approached the child.

the elephant critter nodded as Shine took the paper from him.

Shine read through it, groaning with both pity and frustration once he had finished.

"okay kid. looks like I'm gonna be taking care of you for a while. just, wait here while I pack up my stuff. I'll take you to my house soon. okay Bubs?" he told the elephant critter.

the elephant critter, Bubs nodded before sitting down. the ball of light levitated right above his hoof, as though the ball of light was magically bound to it.

Shine then walked away back to his cleaning supplies to pack it away.
