Following a quick cab ride, Egon and Jeanie made it to their destination.
After paying the driver, the ghostbuster and receptionist headed to the ectomobil.
"There's nobody in the car.
That means the guys are locked inside the store," said Jeanie.
"The proton packs and drops are secure though
If only I had," said Egon, who was stopped by Jeanie who added, "The spare key."
From the chaos earlier at Rocker Feller Center, I took it out of the desk before we left."
Despite the situation, Egon couldn't help give a small smile to Jeanie and said, "Thank you Jeanie.
Also, Raymond is right.
You really are the glue that holds the team together."
Jeanie found herself smiling as she hand the key to Egon.
After unlocking the door, Egon grabbed a proton pack, a trap and made his way to the entrance of the store, where he was stopped by a police officer.
"I'm sorry sir, but because of the situation, we're not letting anyone inside the store.
"Officer, I hate to be argumental in at this time but my team members are inside," said Egon.
The officer had a change of mind at the moment.
"I'm sorry about that Dr. Spengler, said the officer as he opened the door, letting the ghostbuster in the store, saying, Go right in and please be safe."
"Much appreciative office," said Egon, as he was about dash into the toy store, when the officer then asked, "By the way, what happened to your nose?"
"Slight accident with a tree.
Don't ask," Egon replied, as he raced inside.

Once he was inside the toy store, Egon took a look around.
Not just for any paranormal activity, but for his team members as well.
With a PKE meter is his hand, Egon wasn't picking up anything.
In fact, the only objects he was finding was toys and pieces of shelving scattered all over the place.
"Raymond.
Winston.
Venkman," Egon called out.
No one answered back though.
Suddenly, the PKE meter began to go off.
Egon can sense the presence of something ahead his way.
And sure enough he was right, as he spotted a bright blue glowing light.
Egon took a few more steps to get a closer look.
That's when he saw the spirit of Victor Edwards, who had imprisoned Peter, Ray and Winston by what appeared to be jump ropes.
On one hand, Egon had to save his fellow team members, but how was he going to do that without getting captured himself.
"I have to think of something," said Egon.
He then took notice of a red rubber ball beside him.
Egon picked up the ball and throw it in the direction of Victor Edwards.
The spirit got distracted by the toy and began to see where it came from.
Keeping his attention away from the three ghostbusters.
This gave Egon the opportunity to save his team members.
"Egon!
Boy are we glad to see you," spoke Ray.
"How did you know where we were?" asked Winston.
"Jeanie and I saw it on the news and came down here," Egon replied, as he cut the others free with a pocketknife.
"Well thanks man."
"We owe you big time Spengler," said Peter.
"You're welcome.
By the way, I checked the equipment and it's still safe in the car," said Egon.
"Thanks for the update Egon.
I don't know what happened, one minute we were looking at the toys, and the next, the ghoul we came in contact with earlier swarm by us, and was forcing us to live out our most hurtful Christmas memories," said Ray.
"Did you?"
"Yes, I said how my older brothers used to tell me that Santa was fake when I was younger, and how they stolen my gifts, hiding them, or break them, just to get me upset."
"I brought up how the first Christmas I spent after my grandmother passed away
She was my whole family.
And how for quite sometime, I was in a dark place," said Winston.
"I told of how my holidays were not as great as I expressed as because it was just my mom and I, we really couldn't have much of a Christmas, or the fact when we spent time with family, relatives would just make comments or teased for my bed-wetting issues," added Peter.
"It appears Victor Edwards indeed kept his word before his death of putting an end to Christmas, by having his captures admit their negative feelings about the holidays, causing his powers to strengthen, said Egon, Now, despite your injuries from earlier today, are the three of you in the best condition to use your packs?"
"I'm ready," Winston replied.
"I was born ready," added Peter.
"That makes four of us," spoke Ray.

Upon making sure the coast was clear, the four ghostbusters headed to the doorway.
While Ray, Winston, and Peter went out to get their equipment, (after clearance by the police), Egon kept an eye out for Victor Edwards.
At that moment, just as his team members were returning inside the toy store, a large gust of wind blew the doors shut, trapping Egon inside with Victor Edwards, plus a drone of several spirits, beside him.
"Attack him!" Victor Edwards' spirit ordered the ghost army.
The ghouls made their way towards Egon.
The ghostbuster though was prepared for what was about to happened.
Victor Edwards' spirit approached Egon and said, "You're about to live through your most painful Christmas memory."
"I'm afraid I don't have one," Egon replied.
"Not one?
No one telling you that Sant Claus was fake, you weren't given coal as gifts, no family bitterness during Christmas, no tragedy?"
"None of the above, because I don't celebrate Christmas."
Victor Edwards was at a loss for words.
He's never encountered someone to have that type of answer.
"You never. Never celebrated Christmas?" the spirit stammered.
"Yes, hence why I have no unpleasant Christmas memories."
Hearing those words caused Victor Edwards' spirit began to weaken, as did his ghoulish army.
This gave Egon the opportunity to shoot his proton wand at the ghost.
"NOOOOOOOO!" screamed the spirit of Victor Edwards.

Just then, Egon heard a sound.
The noise was of broken glass, shattering, and hitting the ground.
Despite what was going on at that moment, Egon didn't lose focus.
However, he saw Ray, Winston and Peter in front of him.
"Egon, you captured Victor Edwards," said Ray.
"You didn't fall under his presence," added Winston.
"I gotta say Spengler, I'm impressed," said Peter.
"Gentlemen, as much as I appreciate your compliments, I could use some assistance now please," said Egon, trying to keep Victor Edwards' spirit in place.
Luckily, despite their injuries from earlier that day, the three ghostbusters had on their proton packs, with extra traps in tow.
With help from the other three ghostbusters, Egon was able to keep Victor Edwards in place, and lower him into the trap.
Once his spirit was captured, Peter knelt beside the trap and said, "Nighty night Vico.
Hope you enjoy your new home in the containment unit."
"Peter, it's a bit too early to celebrate," Winston pointed out, as the team had to still capture the army of ghouls that Victor Edwards left behind.
Thankfully, with the main spirit capture, trapping the other ghosts came easy for the ghostbusters.
Within moments, the army ended up getting caught as well.
"Well, we sure did clean up the place," said Ray with a chuckle.
"I don't believe that's an appropriate term Raymond, considering how the store looks," Egon, pointed out, as he was indeed correct.
For the inside of the store was quite a mess.
Toys scattered all about, light fixtures barely hanging from the ceiling, shelves smashed into pieces, broken glass from breaking the door open.
"I don't think any of these toys are safe for Oscar
Wonder how Dana would feel if I got him a motorcycle," said Peter, only to earn disapproving looks from his fellow ghostbusters.
And while Toys R Us' manager was grateful for the Ghostbusters' actions in removing the ghouls, he wasn't overly thrilled of damages to the store, during it's busiest season.
