Waluigi checked out the cash register while taking a moments rest at Seaside Hill, noticing that there wasn't as much money inside. He scratched his head as he murmured.
"Not making as much, it seems," Waluigi stated, going under the counter to see if there was anymore cash. He looked back up, only to see the cash register full of tacos. He gawked, tossing his arms about in the air. "What the hell? What's this crap doing here?"
Toadette hummed merrily as she popped her head over the counter, spooking Waluigi. "Hiya, Wally! Surprised to see all these tacos here?"
Waluigi narrowed his eyes angrily while he glared at Toadette, still standing in a weird pose. "Why are these tacos inside here?"
Toadette stuck out her tongue and innocently giggled. "Oh, I just wanted to have some fun. Haha."
Several seconds passed, and Waluigi grabbed Toadette, stuffing her inside the cash register and shutting it close as he angrily stomped off, off to take a dip in the lake behind him as he munched on a salted taco in a salty manner.
Dry Bowser was enjoying a burger he made for himself as he noticed Ashley was sitting on the bench near Waluigi's taco stand in the grassy meadows of the Shroom Ridge, deciding to approach her.
"Hey, what's wrong with her?" Dry Bowser asked Waluigi.
"Beats me." Waluigi spoke while making a new batch of tacos. "She's been like this all day."
"Well maybe I ought to go see if she needs anything." Dry Bowser spoke while paying Waluigi as he grabbed a taco and approached the lonely red witch. "You okay?"
"Oh it's just that the guy I have a crush on is busy and he's not here." Ashley calmly said as she twirled her wand around. "Seems like this always happens to me."
"Well that must suck. You want to have this snack that I got?" Dry Bowser offered as he handed her the plain taco.
Ashley looked shocked as her eyes widened. "Wait... you're offering something of yours to me, without taking a moment to think about it?"
Dry Bowser laughed as he revealed his hollow ribs. "Do I look like I need it?"
Ashley smirked as she nodded, accepting the taco. "Well that's a good point you make."
"I'm glad that she seems to be better," Waluigi said as he approved of this situation, with him wanting the girl to enjoy herself as he was a fellow assist trophy, knowing that they should stick through hardships together.
