"Tonight seemed like a disappointment." Waluigi said as he placed some ketchup on a taco, eating it up as he felt empty despite having eaten as he was in the bustling Toad City, with them being right near the rejuvenated Toad Turnpike.
"What do you mean by this, Wallace?" Dry Bowser questioned in a relative mocking tone as he was helping Waluigi by fixing up the taco stand in his stead so that the purple man could focus on making the tacos as high quality as possible for people to rip right into them.
"What I mean is that certain popular things have so much little to them, yet they're immensely popular in spite of that fact." Waluigi spoke as he moved his lanky arms about. "It's like you don't even need to put in any effort anymore! One quick thing here or there is all you gotta do!"
"It's stuff like this that keeps making me continue to lurk on around here." Petey muttered as the mutant piranha plant clapped his leaves together, munching on some popcorn he popped himself. "Well that and the tacos... as well as supporting a good friend."
"Your futile attempts at making me feel better was barely enough to get this grin on my face," Waluigi said as he was smirking, adjusting his purple cap as he cracked his hands.
Suddenly a horde of Toads approached the taco stand, with them all eager to have tacos as Waluigi rubbed his chin, Dry Bowser continuing to fix up the stand as Petey stood out in the crowd of mushroom people.
"I want a taco with bacon!" A generic red spotted and blue vested Toad exclaimed.
"Poppycott, I want one with fish!" Toadsworth shouted as he raised his cane, being the only unique looking Toad in the crowd.
"Well now I'm both satisfied yet disappointed," Waluigi said as he proceeded to take the Toads' money while exchanging tacos with them. "On 1 hand I don't like these little buggers that much, but hey what can I say to good business?"
Waluigi opened up his taco stand again in the sun drenched Seaside Hill, to see hundreds of multicolored Nokis popping right up on the sandy shores right from the shiny seas. Waluigi rubbed his hands together with glee as he chuckled, having plenty of fresh different topped tacos to be giving out to the shell people.
"Wahahahaha! Time to make big bucks again!" Waluigi exclaimed, his eyes shining brightly.
Toadette giggled as she stood next to Waluigi behind the yellow counter, munching on some tacos Waluigi just made. "It's so nice to see happy customers enjoying these tasty tacos!"
Waluigi gawked as he flailed his arms about, surprised by Toadette's presence. "Waa! What the hell are you doing here?"
Toadette giggled as she winked, turning to Waluigi. "I'm considered your friend, remember? I get to have as many tacos as I want!" She blew a raspberry at Waluigi as she then hiccuped, blushing in embarrassment.
Waluigi shook his head as he placed his hands on his hips, muttering while shaking his head, "At least you're not Daisy..."
"Someone mention me?" Daisy exclaimed as she popped up in the taco pile, kissing Waluigi as she proceeded to fart in his face as she giggled.
Waluigi proceeded to stuff the gassy princess into a taco shell, with Daisy screaming as Waluigi fired it off in a cannon pointed at the sun.
