He he… posted this chapter a day early … yay! enjoy! Happy New year!
Omgggg… rereading the warrior series… and I just finished Shattered Sky… *SPOILER ALERT HERE PEEPS*
Needletail… I completely forgot until it was too late… omg I should've skipped it… argh… it makes me burst into tears everytime… ARGH.
-Morning!
Rip needletail
I think I must have stopped when I couldn't hear any cat.
I would have stopped when I stopped smelling WindClan.
But the problem was…
I couldn't smell anything.
Due to the fact that my nose was gone.
It would've been nice to keep my nose.
One, it would've been a great help at hunting prey
Two, I could scent if enemy cats were approaching.
Three… It would be useful if I got lost.
And of course, I got lost.
I twisted around, craning my neck for any signs of WindClan.
There were none.
I gulped.
Why had I done this?
I might've have lost half my brain along with my face.
Maybe I could just curl up in a tree and wait for a cat to find me.
Or I could just die.
"Well… let's not do that unless it gets serious."
I told myself.
I wasn't in the mood to commit suicide.
That was when I think I might've gone a bit… mad?
I started telling myself what to do.
Out loud.
"Now… Ivykit, walk over to that tree. There are some acorns over there."
My body listened to the command and bounded over to the tall oak tree.
"If squirrels can eat acorns, so can you. Go and eat it. Or else you'll starve."
I told myself.
And I really did it.
I bit into the acorn.
Let's just say… my teeth hurt.
"Ow!"
I cried.
"How do squirrels eats this?"
I spat it out, and proceeded to look for more food.
And that was when I found…
The bush.
I was so hungry (despite being gone for a few moments) that I told myself to eat the berries.
"Go over to the bush, and eat some berries."
I whispered quietly.
Then, I raced over to the overgrown bush and grabbed a few berries in my mouth.
And ate them…
Bad choice of me right?
Well, they tasted amazing.
I ate about twenty more.
At first, when my stomach started to hurt, I thought the berries were disagreeing with me.
I decided to start walking onwards, I was already lost, it wouldn't hurt to get more lost would it?
It was only when my stomach pains grew so sharp that walking made my insides feel like they were dying, did I curl up inside a helpful hole in a nearby tree.
"OW!"
I yelped as my stomach gave a sharp jolt.
As well as my stomach, my face was starting to burn, the herbs that had helped with the pain long since faded away.
"Why did you do this..,? Ivykit… why?"
I yelled as loudly as I could to myself.
Everything was going wrong,
I just wanted to to escape my brother's judging look for a bit… and now I was lost.
Oh, it was all my brother fault…
I should have never gone out of camp.
What would I do?
Sit there and die?
Or the other option.
Sit there and die.
"Ivykit, stop being stupid, just go and find your Clan! They won't be mad at you."
There went my mouth again, yammering at me.
I tried to stand up… but the pain washed over me.
I collapsed down again.
Not like collapsing made the pain better.
Soon, I was gasping for air.
What had I eaten?
The berries.
Of course, I shouldn't haven't eaten those… those… mouse-brained berries.
I don't think the berries were the mouse-brained ones….
The mouse-brained one was me.
And here I was, writhing in pain, struggling to breath.
Darkness started to cover up my sight.
My breath grew more ragged, until I couldn't hear it anymore.
And then it all disappeared.
(he he he… pov swap! I need more drama…)
Can you guess our mystery pov?
Lol you might (will) guess the role… not the name… this character will become a major character soon…
MYSTERY POV… (That is very very very short- I'm afraid that I'll reveal too much…)
I pricked my ears.
I could definitely hear something- or someone- crashing through the dense forest.
"Who's there?"
I called impatiently.
Whoever this was, was ruining the perfect hunting conditions.
Still, the irritating noises kept coming, not taking moment to stop and pause.
"Seriously, shut up!"
I yowled, rolling my eyes as the stomping continued.
I wasn't scared- the only threatening thing that came around here was the occasional fox- and they didn't thrash about like that.
And no cat would want to mess with me- I have enough scars to prove that I'm a good fighter and own't give up too easily.
"Argh."
I hissed, kneading my claws into the ground with frustration.
A sound alerted me to the returning of my brother.
I whirled around.
"Was it you making those stupid sounds? You scared off my prey, you jerk!"
Hissing, I advanced on him.
You could say that we don't really have that sibling bond.
He narrowed his eyes, and shook his head.
"No, but I heard them too… silly cat scared all the prey away- didn't catch a thing!"
He glared at the ground.
I snorted, trying to sound professional.
"Well, you should've tried harder- I mean, I caught two rabbits- and you caught nothing! Useless brother…"
Of course I was lying, you can't expect a cat to always tell the truth can you?
"I'm sorry… but can we just eat some of the food you caught then? You know your a better hunter than me. I'll go back out tomorrow, and you don't have to help!"
My brother gave an awkward smile.
I sighed.
This would be easy.
"I already ate one of the rabbits- and I let Trixie take the other one. So tough luck."
I licked my teeth, acting like I had just finished a meal.
"Has Trixie eaten it already?"
Mr. Gullible cat asked, twitching his ear towards Trixie's den.
"Yeah. Go out and hunt if you want, Don't bother Trixie, she's in one of her moods."
Trixie was our sister, and she was often grumpy, and you never wanted to be around her when she was in one of her 'moods.'
He nodded his head, and began to retreat into the forest for some more hunting.
"Oh- and Hurricane?"
I turned to face him.
"Yeah?"
Hurricane responded, looking over his shoulder at me.
"Bring two rabbits."
