Chapter 89: Icy Rebirth Pt 1
Ivo and Belle were detecting something quite odd in the Northern Tundra at the North Pole. "Lots of frost is spreading from the North Pole. This concerning," Belle said.
"It's the doing of this young male Demi-Human named Gene. A prince-like figure who rules over a section of the Northern Tundra," Ivo says, pulling up his files, which show he is very dangerous. He has great command over ice magic. Bring in Bunnie, Sonic, and Silver at once," Ivo said.
"Of course sir," Belle said as she called Sonic who was still camping in Shroom Hill. The couple are still in the tent with Mina half naked in her purple bra and purple panties. Sonic is holding his wife behind him via his arms around her slender waist.

Sonic got back to meet with Silver, Bunnie, Belle, and Ivo waiting for him. "What is the deal this time?" he asked.
"There is a nobleman named Gene who is based within the Northern Tundra within his huge ice tower," Belle shows the nobleman on the screen.
Gene is a soft-faced young male cat demi-human with shoulder-length black hair matching his large car ears with bright red eyes. He has fair skin and is only 5'2 tall along with a long black tail. He is wearing a white flowing robe hiding his slender effeminate body with white tights and black slippers.
"We got to deal with this pretty boy?" Sonic asked.
"Indeed, he has a lot of ice magic to back up his good looks," Ivo said.
"How do you know this?" Sonic asked.
"He was a big shot back in my times. He came from a powerful family but their current status is unknown. He went to the North Pole to never be found again. Now thousands of years later, he has resurfaced and now he has three Anarchy Beryl for a deadly purpose," Anti Eggman said.
"Ice is spreading outward from the Northern Tundra. He is doing something bad. We need you three to go out there and stop it while grabbing those three gemstones," Belle said as Sonic nodded.
"We got this," Sonic said as Buns pounds her fists together.
"Oh yeah, Sugar Hogs. We are the right gas for this," Buns said as she gave the boys a high five.
"It's going to get chill up there," Silver said as they went into the hangar to see if the stealth ship was ready for them.
"Well Silver, we are going to turn up the heat when we slap that pretty boy around," Sonic said as they went into the ship to prepare it for launch.
"Yeah that twink doesn't stand a chance against us," Buns said flexing her organic arm. They fly towards the location to gain the three Anarchy Beryl.
Meanwhile, Gene detects three life signals nearby. "Seems like some people are trying to stop me. Time to give them the red carpet treatment," Gene uses his ice magic to create a massive ice dragon. "Tear them to pieces," he ordered as the giant dragon lets out a big roar to speed towards the jet.
Silver feels odd to sense something coming their way. "Look out," Silver shouted as a beam of ice struck the aircraft to make them crash onto the icy floor.
"So you have come to my domain Mobians," Gene's voice comes out of the dragon's mouth which is both soft yet refined.
"You are spreading cold beyond your borders. Not cool dude," Sonic said.
"Well, there is a good reason for this. You are not from this world, you can see how messed up this world truly is. Miles and Smalls are repeating the same mistakes of humankind. Only with my frost that can be wiped away and renew this world back to a natural state," Gene said as the ice dragon was about to take the fight with its large ghastly wings.
"What is this pretty boy talking about with this nonsense," Bunnie said.
"Don't act stupid Bunnie, you were part of Scourge's crew who ruined this world. You are part of the disease and I will be the cure for it," Gene said as Buns does share the blame for how messed up the world has become.
"Buns here changed and wants to help out," Sonic said.
"Yeah she did bad things but now she wants to go down a different path," Silver said.
"Hey guys, you don't have to say that. He is right, I helped ruin this world. The Great Peace was broken because I helped Scourge do it," Bunnie said.
"Hey did you say that Scourge used you and took advantage of you," Silver said as Buns shook her head not wanting to excuse her role in the world's current state.
"That is not an excuse. I have a lot of way to go to redeem my actions towards this world," Buns sounding sad about it.
"We will help you with through that. Now we need to deal with Prince Charming's pet dragon," Sonic said as the looming ice dragon let out a big roar to shake the entire Northern Tundra. It spreads its wings to whip up a gust of icy wind to blow them away.
Sonic transforms into his Mystic Form to spew out waves of fireballs to hit the icy dragon to not do much against it.
"You think a bit of heat can burn down this eternal frost," Gene said through the dragon slamming into him to knock him backward. Silver uses his Psychic Stasis to hold the house-sized dragon in place in midair. Sonic fights back with him engulfing himself into an aura of flames to boost straight at the beast to knock it away.
"Psychic Knife," Silver waves his hand to replace a knife-like wave to crave into the side of the monster.
"Burn," Bunnie uses her rocket feet to get air time with her arm cannon to fire laser beams to strike the monster. The Ice Dragon fires beams of icy energy at Bunnie to put up her energy barrier to block the cold attack but her fur is getting chilled. "My stars, I don't want to get by that head-on," she thought as the three were flying in the air to dodge incoming attacks and flying charges.
"Ground this beast," Sonic summons rows of crystals on the snowy ground to launch them into the launching trying to knock the beast off balance. "Sonic Wind," he conjures a sharp crescent of wind to slice into onto of the wings while Silver uses his Psychic Knife to sever the other wing.
"Fuck off, ice puff," Bunnie flies downward to kick the back of the dragon right into the rows of crystal spikes. She flies down and uses her mighty strength to slam into the monster again to hurt the monster even more. Sonic uses his speed to encircle the monster to mix Wind and Fire magic to create a huge firestorm doing some damage and melting the beast.
"Don't hurt my pet," Gene orders his dragon to let out a pulse of cold energy to cancel out Sonic's spell. It stomps its feet to unleash waves of snow to blow them away. The Ice Dragon fires its ice beam to strike Bunnie to knock her down onto the snow.
The dragon created pillars of ice to rise out of the snow trying to smash them but Sonic, Bunnie, and Silver managed to use their powers to easily break through the columns of ice. Bunnie punches the ice blocks to launch them into the beast to cause impact damage.
Silver uses his mind to crush a lot of ice blocks to turn them into an icy meteor above his head and flings at the monster to crush it under the massive weight of the impact.
"Flame Arrow," Sonic flies at rapid speed to engulf himself in flames to go at the speed of light to cut right through the Ice Dragon. Gene is saddened by this.
"I like that dragon. Come forth if you want to stop me but you will aid in protecting this broken world," Gene said as Sonic didn't care what this guy was talking about.
"Whatever you are doing. My wife and my friends will be caught up in it which means I am going to stop you. No matter what," Sonic said to flare up his magic aura.
"So be it, come to my place. I will show you your icy faith," Gene's voice fades from the dead dragon which melts back into the snow.
"Well, I hope no more pets show up," Bunnie said as Gene looked at his crystal ball to see them flying toward his tower.
"Kill them," Gene ordered as he summons a wave of ice golems rushing towards the trio in a big clash with the cold energy beginning to spread out of the Northern Tundra.
Elsewhere Mina is shopping at the farmers' market to see all sorts of food stands with the echidnas showing off the food products they made from their farms on the outskirts of Demon Island.
"Oh hello there my dear," Bernie said as she rushed over to greet her daughter-in-law.
"Oh hello Madam, I am just shopping for food," Mina said holding a bag of fresh food.
"Getting used to being on the sidelines?" Bernie asked.
"Yeah, I got to worry about keeping my health intact," she said patting her stomach.
"I know the feeling. When I had Sonic, I couldn't serve my king. Protecting the kingdom from threats outside the Acorn Isles. Gee, I lose so much time with my son. It's quite shameful," Bernie said feeling happy she could have the chance to be with her son and new daughter-in-law. "Thankfully faith smiles on me. Now I am going to be a grandmother. It's going to be sweet," Bernie said with a soft smile.
"Got you 6 months until you can see your grandkid. I need to head back home," Mina said.
"Oh, I will see you soon. I need to get ready to grab the next Anarchy Beryl," Bernie said as Mina grabbed her food to go back home.
"Oh Sonic, I always go on adventures with you and now I can't due to my oven baking," she thought to get into the home to sit down the bags.
"Hey Mina Girl," Mindy said as the fox came in to hug her good friend.
"Oh hey there. Mindy. How is going?" Mina asked to sit up on her couch to sit beside her friend.
"Nothing much, heard that your husband and the gang were going to the Northern Tundra. Fighting some weird ice mage who is born of human and Mobian mixing together. From his time, this would be taboo since our two species were warring with each other. Humans pushed into the underground cities now abandoned to go to other dimensions." Mindy said.
"Very sad but deserving. This world is beyond messed up. The air is coughed with smog, the seas poisoned by oil and gas while the earth is rotting away," Mina said.
"Yes thankfully we will all be going to a better place," Mindy said.
"Oh yes, Our Mobius is quite safe. Our big villain Eggman was defeated almost a year ago. Along with most threats taken care of. You will be safe there and you can go into the idol business," Mina said.
"That would be swell. I want to spread my music into the world and make people feel happy," Mindy said as Mina smiles at this.
"Reminds me of when I was younger but now I need to pass it on to a new group of idols to spread love and positivity around the world," Mina said to nod her head.
"Pretty nice, I hope you can help me out in the new world," Mindy said.
"Oh, I will. I will be excited to see your new concert in Mobius," Mina said.
"Hey I want to set up a concert to raise the morale of the people on Demon Island," she said.
"That would be great, I will help you set up a concert to raise everyone's spirits," Mina said as the two women wanted to do something nice for the city for harboring them.
Back with Mystic Sonic, Silver, and Bunnie flying towards the icy tower. They see a vast army of Ice Golems with Gene using his ice magic to control them like puppet. "Time to face my army of ice golems," Gene said.
Sonic engulfs with flames to use a Flame Arrow to slam through hordes of lumbering ice creatures. Silver uses surges of psychic power to slam through groupings of enemies. Bunnie fires beams of energy to tear into groupings of ice golems.
Sonic curls into a ball with Bunnie using her metal hand to knock him into columns of golems. He bounces up to swing his legs to let out rows of wind energy crescents to slice through several hordes of golems.
"Psycho Surge," Silver unleashes a blast of psychic energy to turn the golems to powdered snow. Bunnie slams her metal fist onto the snow to unleash a wave of energy to reduce them to pieces of ice.
"Grave," Sonic conjures waves of stone spikes to tear into the ice golems.
Gene looks on to see they are stronger than he thought especially the blue hedgehog. "This Sonic is something else," Gene said as he saw his army getting wiped out by the trio. He uses his magic to teleport outside to greet them personally.
Silver blasts a golem apart to get hit by a beam of ice to turns him into a cube of ice. "Sugar Hog," Bunnie said as she aimed her arm cannon to fire at the mage. He summons a wall of the black wall that can block the laser shot with him unleashing waves of icy needles to strike Bunnie unleashing a violent burst of cold energy and knocking her out cold.
"I am curious about you being able to use Ixis Magicks. Controlling the four elements of the world is impressive," Gene said as his white robes flowed against the cold winds. His deathly pale skin blended well against the snow around them.
"What did you do to Silver and Bunnie," Sonic tosses fireballs and wind crescents but Gene managed to block his shots with his black ice walls.
"Don't worry, they are encased in my black ice. They are preserved, it will protect them from my upcoming frost to overcome the world," Gene said as he wanted to freeze Sonic but he could dodge his ice beams.
Gene summons a wall of black ice which Sonic tries to use Flame Arrow but he can't melt through it.
"I will purge the world with frost. Incasing all of the world into a ball of ice and then all the sins of this world will be washed away giving it a true rebirth," Gene said as he surged the field of snow to mold it into arcs of white wanting to trap Sonic.
"Gee so many," Sonic keeps blasting away the arcs of snow but he gets hut to be entrapped by the snow to be within a big snowball. He lets out a wave of heat to melt it all away to head for Gene. He summons a wide field of black ice to trap Sonic inside managing to catch him instantly freezing his body.
"Well, I am done with the guests. Time to prepare for the world to freeze over and get ready for a new world," Gene said as he teleported the three into his huge ice tower. He teleports back to his room to see the three green gemstones tapping into their power to let the ice flow outwards to begin the world of Moebius to be frozen by his power.
